The transition to a new economic regime, oriented to the dignity of all, life seems not viable without accumulation and adequate investment of the surplus, which stresses the strategic objectives of overcoming a ruinous extractive system not only for the ecosystem but for future generations. All of which indicates the need to articulate different social, political and cultural times in the process of restoration of economic processes. This is precisely the importance of research in the popular and solidary economy. Supported in techniques such as the interview and the survey will be carried out the organization of the data, using a questionnaire as an instrument for measurement.

This descriptive survey research design sought to ascertain the level of implementation of training strategies for leadership succession in small and medium scale construction companies in the study area. A questionnaire with 5-point rating scale was employed to elicit responses from 93 CEOs on staff training and development strategies including policies and procedure, opportunities, funding, and incentives and rewards for training. A hypothesis was formulated, and tested with t-Test, to determine any difference in the responses between the small and the medium scale companies under study. Results indicated that even though the respondents practiced some of the strategies without funding in the mean, they are generally indifferent to leadership succession through staff training. There was no significant difference in the mean responses of the small and the medium scale construction companies. It was recommended that the construction companies be more committed to effective leadership succession by organising and funding training workshops and seminars for staff.

In Asia, the progress of cloud application is relatively slow. This paper considers the major factors which influence a bank's decision to contract with a technology service provider to implement a cloud based strategy. This research study identifies the trends in applying cloud computing in global banking with a focus on banks in Thailand. It will analyze the criteria IT executives in banks use to decide on the selection of technology service providers. Banks require the service provider to meet specific requirements for a cloud implementation project in a bank. A survey approach was used to identify the important criteria IT executives in banks use to select an IT technology provider for cloud applications. The sample included 367 bank IT executives and professionals in Thai and international banks based in Bangkok. SEM was used to analyze the data. Interviews were conducted with 21 IT executives for insights into their decision criteria. Service quality which is based on the conventional SERVQUAL indicators strongly influence the decision to choose a technology service provider. This selection is also influenced by the capability of service provider, their technical capability and the cloud application features. There are few studies in the literature on the decision criteria that banks use to select a provider for cloud computing application.

They need to make better and faster decisions, to match people better to requirements, and at the same time to reduce costs. As an HR director, you're probably aware that you could achieve your aims more effectively through better use of data. For example, when a business need arises, you need to be able to see at a glance whether you have the right person available internally or need to look outside. In the latter case, you then typically face the additional challenge of scanning large volumes of applications or CVs/résumés. Fortunately, with today's technology, it's possible to automate much of the work of matching people to requirements. You can also bring together structured and unstructured data to learn more about the potential of your own staff, and take advantage of information available in social networks to find out about potential recruits. With recent advances, all this can be achieved without major investment in technology and related skills. Applying advanced analytics effectively to HR challenges is the aim of our new offer, People Analytics.

In the past, companies would mostly look to make cost-savings from headcount reductions or internal re-organisation. Now they are increasingly turning to procurement and strategic sourcing as a means for cost reduction in procurement. The study examined the impact of effective negotiation in realization of procurement goals in Redeemer's University. The research was conducted through the use of self-administered questionnaire to obtain primary data. The study had sample size of 206. Purposive sampling technique was used to select respondents that are involved in procurement for the University for the Study. Descriptive analysis and linear regression analysis were used in analyzing the obtained data. The results indicated that effective negotiation is a strong procurement strategy in Redeemer's University and has a significant impact in realization of procurement goals. The study concluded that Redeemer's University procurement goals are realizable with effective negotiation strategy.

The stored or transmitted message is transformed in the encryption process to unreadable or gibberish form. The reverse process in which the intendent recipient can reveal the encrypted message content is called decryption. The encryption and decryption processes are achieved using secret keys that are exclusively exchanged between the sender and recipient. This method can be applied to any form of message such as audio, video, image or text data. The current work applies the well-known RSA algorithm for audio signal encryption and decryption. The performance of the presented algorithm has been tested via experimental implementation which show that the Cpestral Distance Measure (CD), Linear Predicative Code Measure (LPC) and Segmental Spectral Signal to Noise Ratio (SSSNR) reach to 6.8781, 4.9614 and-21.5563 dB respectively using Matlab simulations. The results on the presented technique validated that it is secure, reliable and efficient to be applied in secure audio communications as well as it performed high intelligibility of the recovered audio signal.

However, to ensure the final product quality, it is important that the turning for machining procedure is well planned and prepared, so that the cutting tools have their wear minimized in the process, while putting good productivity rates and zero occurrences of reworked parts. Thus, this article will study the quality of the machined surface in the turning process using interchangeable PCBN inserts. The aim is to identify the optimal combination of the input parameters that are cutting speed (Vc), feed (f) and machining depth (ap). The response measured is the roughness parameter Ra, under the influence of cutting fluid and tool wear.

This is in fact because it is famous for its unique coastal Mediterranean oasis. Coastal oases are essentially sources of great biological diversity and particular natural habitations, which altogether make an essential component of the cultural identity of the region. This key element of cultural heritage is unfortunately facing a lot of challenges which threaten its existence. The present study tries to understand the context of the evolution of the oasis dwelling and the traditional urban landscapes of the city of Gabes. It seeks to identify the typology of this traditional dwelling and characterize its main components. It also assesses its current state and the profound changes it is experiencing in an atmosphere of negligence from the side of state which has avoided adopting the principles of urgent intervention to promote, enhance it and preserve this dwelling against the undesirable effects of modernization.

The model consists of different component assembly parts such as transmission, rasper, crusher and base frame. It is powered by a 7.5 hp gasoline engine. Its salient features such as: 1) made of locally available food grade materials, 2) portable and 3) can be operated by a single person, give it the edge over other existing machines in attaining effective processing. The model has an overall cost of P65,000.00. The effects of different factors which include the machine speed, tuber size and tuber maturity on the response variables such as power requirement, processing time, machine capacity and efficiency (percent starch recovery) were observed. RSReg and Response Surface Methodology (RSM) were used to determine the effect of the treatment factors and optimum performance of the machine; respectively. Experimental runs using Box and Behnken design with three level-incomplete factorial designs were conducted. Results revealed that change on the levels of treatment factors significantly affect most of the response variables. Data obtained from the response variables mostly fit the linear and quadratic regression models. Results of evaluation revealed that the model is capable of grinding arrowroot tubers with average power consumption of 0.85 kW, processing time of 7.85 minutes, capacity of 46.6 kilograms per hour and efficiency (starch recovery) of 16.6%. Verification tests indicated that the actual values of responses were relatively close to the predicted values. Further, financial analysis showed that the machine was economically feasible for small scale farm arrowroot production with payback period of 0.343 years or 4 months and 3 days, break-even point of around 350 kg per year and benefit cost ratio of 1.96.

In this paper, we apply the binary logistic regression analysis to investigate whether age of women at first birth have a relationship with the outcome of their delivery (Success or failure). The data was collected from Gombe Town Maternity and was subjected to analysis. From the result of the analysis, we observed that most of the women at tender age (12-17) are classified to fail (69%) during their first child delivery while most of the women at higher age (19 and above) have a better chance of succeeding during their first parturition. Also, the result shows that the average age at which women ought to conceive successfully is 19 years. The Wald statistics result also shows that the logistic regression model fits the data very well.
