MDT. Competition in the business world today is getting tougher and companies must have a vision and mission that must be maintained so that customers and partners or company colleagues do not turn away. The population in this study were customers of PT. MDT Jabodetabek Region. The sampling technique in this study the author uses a saturated sampling method. The analytical method used is path analysis. The data analysis used in this study is assisted by the SPSS Version 23. The results of this study indicate that (1) Corporate Image has a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decisions, (2) Brand Image does not significantly influence Purchasing Decisions, (3) Price positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decisions, (4) Purchase Decisions have a positive and significant effect on Customer Satisfaction, and (5) Corporate Image has a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decisions and their implications for Customer Satisfaction.

Reconstructions of hydrologic variables are commonly created using tree-ring chronologies (TRCs) ... more Reconstructions of hydrologic variables are commonly created using tree-ring chronologies (TRCs) to generate information about historic climate and potential future variability. This study used TRCs to reconstruct annual streamflow, April 1st Snow Water Equivalent (SWE), and soil moisture in the North Platte River Basin (NPRB). Stepwise linear regression was performed to determine which of the 55 moisture sensitive TRCs were the best predictors of hydrologic variation. The regressions explained 63% of the variability in streamflow, 55% of the variability in SWE, and 66% of the variability in soil moisture. This study then maximized the overlapping period of records which resulted in a decrease in the percent of variability explained but indicated that the regression models were stable for long reconstruction periods. This study successfully reconstructed all three hydrologic variables for NPRB to 1438 or earlier. Temporal wet and dry periods for streamflow and SWE were closely aligned while soil moisture did not follow similar temporal patterns. This was likely due to a natural "lag" between soil moisture and streamflow / SWE given soil moisture tends to retain antecedent signals. The availability of reconstructed hydrologic data in NPRB allows for a better understanding of the long-term hydrologic variability in the region.

The performance of the separately excited DC motor is analyzed by using fuzzy logic controller (FLC) in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment. The FLC speed controller is designed based on the expert knowledge of the fuzzy rules system. The proposed DC motor speed control fuzzy rules are designed for fuzzy logic controller. The output response of the system is obtained by using fuzzy logic controller. The designed fuzzy controller for speed control performance is investigated. Significantly reducing the overshoot and shortening the settling time of the speed response of the motor. They validate different control of approaches, the simulation results show improvement in motor efficiency and speed performance.

Due to alterations in physiographic and social-economic conditions, climatic changes, adaptation ... more Due to alterations in physiographic and social-economic conditions, climatic changes, adaptation and population growth, the land utilization of Bangladesh is changing very rapidly. Small farms and landless household constitute about 80% of total area households, the majority of whom depend on agriculture for their livelihood. It is obvious that total agriculture land over the periods in the past has not increased although population has increased significantly [12]. Bangladesh is a small country but it bears a huge population, resulting in a very high density of population and very high intensity of land and resource use. Based on secondary data of Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics, an attempt has been made in this paper to evaluate the changes in land use pattern during the period of 1990 to 2015. Absolute utilization of land for different purposes during this period as well as trend values and growth rates were estimated. Trend analysis and exponential growth rate showed that forest area significantly increased by 35.93% and 0.3% per annum and land not available for cultivation is significantly decreased by 4.49% and 0.04%per annum respectively. Result also show that cultivate waste is significantly decreased at the rate of 1.1% per annum. On the other hand, a current fallow is decreased by 0.2% per annum. The trend values was found statistically significant for land use in forest and cultivate waste.

Reactive power optimization is a major concern in the operation and control of power systems. In ... more Reactive power optimization is a major concern in the operation and control of power systems. In this paper a new multi-objective differential evolution method is employed to optimize the reactive power dispatch problem. It is the mixed-integer non linear optimization problem with continuous and discrete control variables such as generator terminal voltages, tap position of transformers and reactive power sources. The optimal VAR dispatch problem is developed as a nonlinear constrained multi objective optimization problem where the real power loss and fuel cost are to be minimized at the same time. A conventional weighted sum method is inflicted to provide the decision maker with a example and accomplishable Pareto-optimal set. This method underlines non-dominated solutions and at the same time asserts diversity in the non-dominated solutions. Thus this technique treats the problem as a true multi-objective optimization problem. The performance of the suggested differential evolution approach has been tested on the standard test system IEEE 30-bus.

OFDM-based systems operate in the hostile multipath radio environment, which allows efficient sharing of limited resources. This research work was designed, developed and simulated an FFT-OFDM based System using the basic blocks of Simulink in MATLAB/Simulink software, to enhance BER for error free transmission. The system was design using Fast Fourier transform (FFT) and Inverse Fast Fourier transform (IFFT). This was achieved in backing of collection and review of high-quality research papers, which reported the latest research developments in OFDM communications networks, and its applications in future wireless systems. The research mitigated the noise enhancement effect. And many critical problems associated with the error transmission in wireless communication networks in the future. An error transmission in wireless systems is global issues and challenges that are still looking for efficient solutions. This research work would overcome the global issues and challenges facing the wireless communication network.

In this context, we explore optimal combinations for the buffer size and the length of vacation time in M/G/1/K queues with multiple vacations numerically. We consider the cases of deterministic and exponentially distributed vacation and service times. In order to do this, we also formulate an optimal problem and define cost factors: the customer loss cost, the buffer holding cost, and the server operating cost. We present some numerical examples to investigate the impact of the system parameters such as the buffer size, the length of the vacation time, and the distribution of the service time, to performance measures and the total cost. We also investigate optimal combinations for the buffer size and the vacation length for various values of the cost factors.
