Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi pemesanan dan pembelian tiket kapal berbasis SMS Gateway pada perusahaan PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Jepara. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan menggunakan waterfall yang dimulai dari tahap definisi kebutuhan,Desain sistem dan perangkat lunak, implementasi dan testing sistem, operasional dan pemeliharaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa aplikasi sistem informasi pemesanan dan pembelian tiket kapal berbasis SMS Gateway pada perusahaan PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Jepara untuk mempermudah dalam pemesanan tiket dan memproses data baik pencatatan data pelanggan, data tiket, data jadwal, data pemesanan dan data pembayaran tiket kapal tersebut.

Jumlah penumpang yang memakai transpotasi kereta api dari tahun ke tahun mengalami peningkatan yang cukup besar terutama menjelang dan setelah lebaran. Bertitik tolak dari hal tersebut, peningkatan mutu pelayanan dan mutu stasiun perlu ditingkatkan, dan salah satunya adalah dengan melakukan sistem informasi jadwal kedatangan/jadwal keberangkatan serta pemesanan tiket kereta api menggunakan komputerisasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang suatu sistem informasi kereta api dan melakukan uji coba terhadap sistem informasi kereta api tersebut. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana membuat suatu sistem informasi kereta api berbasis SMS dan bagaimana melakukan uji coba terhadap sistem informasi kereta api tersebut. Subjek penelitian ini adalah sistem informasi kereta api berbasis SMS yang di rancang sebagai suatu media penyedia informasi yang diwujudkan dalam bentuk SMS. Penelitian ini menghasilkan suatu program sistem informasi kereta api berbasis SMS yang telah di uji coba dengan dengan baik. Dari hasil uji coba program tersebut dapat dioperasikan dengan baik.

Bus is a mode of transportation for people around the world. Bus fare is calculated based on the distance travelled by the passenger. The fare collected from both sitting and standing passenger is the same, but they do not enjoy the same comfort. This paper proposes a flexi-pay system, that is, a variable fare calculation system considering the distance travelled by the passenger whether he/she is seated or standing during the journey. The system uses ultrasonic sensor to find seating or standing passenger. The radio frequency identity is used to scan whenever the passenger gets a seat or leaves it. Global positioning system is used to calculate the distance travelled. Then, fare is calculated based on the distance travelled by the passenger considering seating and standing time into account. A Web application is designed to manage the system with admin and user accounts. The proposed work justifies the difference in comfort of the passengers in the existing system. E-tickets and mobile tickets are widely used across the world for travel by air, trains and coaches. For daily commutes, smart cards are a popular mode of fare collection. These smart travel cards are re-usable and can be easily topped up but may involve a large investment which is hardly affordable in various developing countries. We therefore propose a mobile ticket-based framework which is more economically viable. Bus commuters can purchase their tickets through a mobile application which generates a unique Quick Response (QR) code. During their trip, the QR code is scanned and validated with a corresponding mobile application. This approach considerably reduces the investment in infrastructure as opposed to smart cards. The implemented solution is flexible as it allows the mobile tickets to be used by any bus operator in Mauritius.

This paper presents an automatic bus ticketing system using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Controller Area Network (CAN) bus technology. The system is intended to replace the traditional human-oriented ticketing system. It gives the solution to problems occurred in traditional systems as well as saves passengers ticketing time. The system uses an RFID card for passenger identification and uses the same for fare payment corresponding to the distance traveled. This system has an RFID reader module installed in a transport vehicle which is mainly used to verify the passenger, a central control unit used to monitor things like account balance, tickets charge, etc. The system involves a distance measuring unit which uses the GPS or vehicle's odometer/trip meter to detect the location of the bus, boarding place and alighting place of the passenger to estimate distance. Users needs to scan their card in front of the RFID reader which sends the data of that card to the central unit for further processing. In case the vehicle is traveling in an area that can't gain access to the satellite i.e. if GPS is not giving proper location then the distance is calculated by an odometer.

In Mexico, Urban Passenger Transport has insufficient transport units to meet the demand of passengers who move throughout the day, and these do not consider hardware infrastructure. This paper attempts to explore as well as evaluate the extent of the transformation and its impact by focusing on 'redbus' which is the largest bus ticketing company operating in India. The first section of this paper discusses the nature of bus travel industry alongside the challenges faced by the Indian bus travel industry. The second section of this paper enumerates the challenges encountered by 'redbus' which presently covers geographically 80% of the overall market. Subsequently, this paper examines a growth model in existence for 'redbus' which would provide a sustainable growth in the long term.

We can reduce the difficulty of people; carrying a ticket during journey in metro and make traveling more easier by use of E-ticketing. Use of metro cards reduces the time consumed during manual ticket generation; but the commuters must always ensure carrying the card with them during their journey. This has led to a greater need for an organized public transport service. In this paper, we are reviewing existing systems and proposing a new smart bus tracking system. Any passenger with a smartphone can view the bus routes on the map as well as the current location of the bus number that the user wants to view. GPS (Global Positioning System)- based devices owned by the driver or the conductor of the bus will send real-time location updates as soon as the bus starts which will be sent through a real time database to user devices. In addition to tracking, we will also be reviewing the functionality of estimating the crowdedness on the bus.

In this paper, we are proposing QR-code generator and reader for metro ticket system. The QR-code (Quick Response code) becomes popular outside the automotive industry due to its fast readability and greater storage capacity compared to standard UPC barcodes and we also propose facility to take metro ticket using android mobile application. This system provides a facility for ticket checker to check daily passengers ticket by just scanning the QR-code. The app is also providing live tracking so that passengers can view upcoming stations on map and time to reach at particular station. This project provides an e?ective solution for managing metro tickets using a database. Our system has two logins; one for passengers, and another for ticket checker.

The Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) card is used to make the identification of passenger and transaction very precise. Compared to the paper based ticketing system using of RFID cards are more convenient and reusable. RFID cards are distributes among the public. By collecting the personnel details an account will be created and unique ID will be assigned to each person with RFID cards .By accessing this database, it is thus possible to identify the traveler, check his account and deduct the fare from his/her account.

Public transport systems such as the Metro are very well developed these days. There is growing demand for intelligent transportation systems in the market that need to improve passenger safety, convenience and current public transport performance. The paper-based ticketing system for charging bus fare is considered a source of major financial losses in India. It is difficult to assure every passenger that they will buy a ticket. After arriving at the destination, the paper ticket becomes useless for travelers. The number of untold tickets per day is very high. In the technological age, India should focus on developing an automated system for charging bus fare. Therefore, this paper proposes an automated card operated system using RFID and GPS for bus travel in India.

This is a system to monitor the daily bus pickup and drop-off of children to enhance the overall safety of the daily bus transportation to/from school. In this project we focus on a particular risk associated with the daily bus trip to and from school. The system aims at automatically detecting when a child boards or leaves the bus and issue an alert message when a child does not board or leave the bus to reduce the parents' concerns about using the bus for the daily transport of their children without being lost or forgotten.

Then for the current system, for sending tickets through the system but still using documents for ticket submission attachments. This is considered ineffective even though the document is still often used for audit purposes. This web-based Ticketing Helpdesk application is an application that is built as a ticket delivery tool in a system and to facilitate and can be used as a communication channel by the IT Department with users, in terms of supporting the provision and use of facilities related to systems and technology evaluate problems that often occur. The design of this application uses UML diagrams and SWOT analysis, Application are built using PHP.

At present the clinical facilities at Universitas Mercu Buana still apply the patient's face-to-face system with doctors. Whereas to optimize the concept of the clinic is the existence of communication which is limited to the face-to-face system between the patient and the doctor. The purpose of this study is to propose the design of a medical record system model, where the activities contained in this system will not be limited by place and time. The objectives of this study are divided into three parts: modeling system, testing system and implementation system. The result of the research that has been done is to make this system an alternative for patients in communicating with doctors.

The ultimate goal of this research is to hope with the existence of online bus ticket reservation is expected to facilitate users in utilizing IT that has been provided by the bus company.

There is so many public transportation that provide by government or private, so it makes easier for people to find the best alternative that proper with their needs and their budget. Such as train, this thing, gives customer a convenient offered, beside a lower price than other. And this ticketing online service system is the one of the sample of the offered, that purposed for customer convenient who choose train as their transport in order to go to other place. That is why this system was designed as easiest as possible, so the customer being able to make a reservation and to choose the seats by themselves, hopefully it can makes their vacation be more comfortable.

The aim of this paper is to avoid problem of traffic jam. It has more public carrying capacity than regular buses and monorail. It does not require special tracks like BRT, mono, metro. Also does not require large construction and can be implemented within short period of time. Here we want to show or explain the technology used in tunnel bus. The automatic stopping of this bus is controlled byan ARM microcontroller. The C programming language is used for programming the microcontroller. The hardware is assembled in a toy like prototype tunnel bus. Actuators and sensors are interfaced with printed circuit board (PCB) which is used for automation purpose. Simulation for the system's circuit is done with the help of Proteus software. RFID reader is used to identification of right track.
