With the rise of the digital age, people are increasingly exposed to the visual environment such as online websites that commonly contain usability issues. This study established a framework for improving the usability of an online birth certificate application website as measured through the Single Usability Metric (SUM), with completion rate, error rate, satisfaction, and task times as usability metrics. This is done by incorporating the concepts and guidelines provided by the design factors such as page layout, user's workload, and lists. Usability testing was conducted to gather quantitative information for measuring the usability metrics, which were standardized to obtain the SUM of the current design. The design factors were then analyzed and improvements were applied to develop a new design. A follow-up usability testing for the new design was conducted and results showed that the SUM increased from 1-sigma to 3sigma level. The framework consisting of the design factors on web design development is deemed effective in improving the usability of a website.

Online Building Energy Simulation and Optimization (BESOO) is a system of online internet programs that calculates temperatures, energy and other parameters for various cases and conditions based on input values.
The current version (101) calculates temperatures of the outside wall layers and room air temperature at constant ambient air temperature. This version calculates conduction heat transfer through outside walls only. Solar radiation is not included in the current version.
The online simulation program was successfully validated using the Thermal Time Constant (TTC) method.
This work includes examples of the application of BESOO to determine room air temperature without space heating or air conditioning at various ambient air temperatures and thermal insulation thicknesses.
It may be useful to select optimum building design, especially the location and thickness of insulation, and thermal mass such as a concrete layer.

ABSTRACT This article discusses the successful development and
implementation of a national online placement test for Algerian doctoral
students from various academic specialties during the 2022/2023
academic year. The test aimed to assess students' English proficiency and
accurately place them in the appropriate language proficiency level,
aligning with the Common European Framework of Reference for
Languages (CEFR). The collaboration of an interdisciplinary team,
particularly involving IT engineers, played a crucial role in seamlessly
integrating technology to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the test.
The collaboration between language experts and IT professionals
highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary teamwork in creating
innovative educational assessment solutions. The study achieved success
with high participation rates and significant cost reduction, as the online
format eliminated the need for physical papers and manual correction,
streamlining processes. The research context addressed the diverse
linguistic backgrounds of doctoral students, tailoring English language
courses based on test results. This experiment not only optimized
language assessment practices but also laid the foundation for designing
customized courses aligned with proficiency levels identified through the
national online test.

In this scientific research, we will pilot investigate which programming tools and languages are most often used to create
web applications. The results of this survey that are collected from respondents (experienced web developers) will be related to the
following: programming tools, languages, and which modern technologies are most important for professional and scientific web
developers. This research will provide the first information on whether respondents know that WAMP stands for Windows, Apache,
MySQL, and PHP, then whether respondents know that AMPPS is packaged with MongoDB, Perl, Python, and RockMongo to meet
broader technology needs and preferences, and which solutions web developers prefer. Through the research, some will get information
about web technologies which are the most used or preferred according to respondents in the CMS systems created, which modern
development environments for creating web applications are preferred by web developers, and did the respondents know that React.js is
the most used JavaScript library today, with which made many big apps like Facebook, Instagram, Netflix, and Dropbox. The main
research methodologies used here are the method of scientific and professional text analysis, the survey method, the chi-square test, and
the comparative method. This research will be used for the next, larger, and similar research.

The Web-Based Student Attendance System Using Rfid Technology is a system that we developed to record student attendance using Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) equipment in schools. The RFID is made up of several components like a small transponder radio, radio receiver and transmitter. When it triggered, the electromagnetic interrogation pulse from the nearby RFID tags will transmits digital data from the RFID tags and back to the reader. The data that were transmitted can be used as identification or record. It integrates the principles of the web base system by using devices such as RFID cards and RFID card readers to record student attendance. This system is designed to facilitate teachers' ability to review and store school attendance data. These data are stored in a database, which is designed specifically to store student data, where it integrates attendance data for each student on a daily basis using RFID techniques. It's difficult for the teacher and the class to build their skills and progress if a large number of students are frequently absent. Unlike other system, the RFID tags were developed to allowed the teacher easily track down the students throughout when they still school. The data also kept well in school database. Moreover, the data allows the teacher to find information of their students even thought they had left the school. This system also have a huge potential for commercialization.

Формулювання проблеми. Сучасний освітній процес передбачає всебічне використання інформаційних технологій і зокрема систем онлайн анкетування та тестування. Однак в існуючих застосунках є ряд недоліків, які потребують удосконалення, оптимізації процесів створення, редагування та модифікації завдань. Матеріали і методи. У розробці нового застосунку для організації й проведення анкетування та тестування було використано мову програмування Python, фреймворк Django та наступні модулі Python: social-auth-app-django, xlrd, xlwt, django-ckeditor, django-crispy-forms, django-rosetta. Результати. Визначенні основні параметри та характеристики, які мають бути реалізовані при створенні застосунку. З цією метою проаналізовані поширені програмні застосунки для анкетування та тестування: Anketolog, Google Форм, Survio, Testograf, Typeform. Визначено, що існуючі застосунки позбавлені можливості зручного створення опитувань з великою кількістю завдань, редагування та адаптації вже існуючих опитувань, імпорту та експорту завдань опитувань. У розробленому застосунку, з метою полегшення аутентифікації користувачів, використаний Google API. Створено динамічний фільтр для адміністрування анкет користувачів, за допомогою якого зручно знаходити необхідні відповіді, сортувати їх та збирати статистику. Реалізований механізм імпорту питань з файлу у форматі XLSX. Подальше редагування та можливість розповсюдження створених анкет, реалізовано за допомогою механізму експорту анкети та її питань у форматі XLSX. У розробленій системі анкетування та тестування передбачено механізм експорту статистичних даних у форматах CSV та XLSX. Висновки. Визначені недоліки та можливості в існуючих застосунках для організації й проведення анкетування та тестування. За результатами проведеного аналізу спроектовано та розроблено застосунок мовою програмування Python з використанням фреймворку Django. Головною особливістю застосунку є можливість створення, редагування, експорт та імпорт анкет у форматі Microsoft Excel; одночасне опитування різних респондентів в режимі віддаленого доступу; збір та зберігання результатів, експортування результатів досліджень в різних форматах даних. Наступним кроком у подальших дослідженнях є розробка методики впровадження та використання розробленого застосунку в освітній діяльності викладачів та вчителів. Interactive cloud computing and cloud-based applications are a rapidly growing sector of the expanding digital economy because they provide access to advanced computing and storage services via simple, compact personal devices. Recent studies have suggested that processing a task in the cloud is more energy-efficient than processing the same task locally. However, these studies have generally ignored the power consumption of the network and end-user devices when accessing the cloud. In this paper, we develop a power consumption model for interactive cloud applications that includes the power consumption of end-user devices and the influence of the applications on the power consumption of the various network elements along the path between the user and the cloud data centre. As examples, we apply our model to Google Drive and Microsoft Skydrive's word processing, presentation and spreadsheet interactive applications. We demonstrate via extensive packet-level traffic measurements that the volume of traffic generated by a session of the application vastly exceeds the amount of data keyed in by the user. This has important implications on the overall power consumption of the service. We show that using the cloud to perform certain tasks consumes more power (by a watt to 10 watts depending on the scenario) than performing the same tasks locally on a low-power consuming computer and a tablet. Se aborda una recopilación de servicios, herramientas y recursos informático-musicales para la implementación didáctica en la materia de Música de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria. Las principales premisas para para su selección se desarrollan en torno a tres tipologías: aplicaciones de uso online a través de navegadores web, software libre o de código abierto y plataformas gratuitas de entornos colaborativos. Los mismos se exponen clasificados en cinco categorías: editores de partituras, editores de audio, secuenciadores, instrumentos virtuales e inteligencia artificial.

The aim of this study is to create an online questionnaires and surveys website that is specifically to be used by companies. This website makes the work of the companies more efficient and faster; so if they want to evaluate the performance of anything or ask the employees about something or to vote, they can easily use our new website.

Significant difference in the extent of implementation and in the level of customer satisfaction were determined if the respondents were grouped according to restaurant's profile. Recommendations in the improvement of queue were given based on the findings.

This project is designed to create an online collection and assessment application for the Income Tax Department in the National Revenue Authority (NRA) in Sierra Leone.

The project focuses on how to ease the burden on the taxpayers from moving to and fro in order to register their businesses, and allowing companies to register online for purposes of income tax collection and assessment and directly managing their addresses within the application. The design will provide an online payment and registration services to the customers and create a scalable technological environment for cost-effective future expansion.

Programming Languages such as C# in the .Net framework is used to design the forms and ASP.Net is used to link the web pages. The codes are embedded to work directly with the forms for easy navigation.

The essential requirements for the system are that it should have a clearly presented and highly useable Online Income Tax Collection and Assessment system that fits in stylistically with the group’s existing system. The system should provide a main home page form that is accessible to anyone and will give various options to help quickly locate any organization and their payment history recorded in the database. A restricted access administrators section should also be created and this will provide the means for entering new organization into the database and for altering and deleting existing details.

When properly followed, the system will help the Income tax staff and their numerous customers to work in a more friendly and interactive environment without any means of corruption.

Scholarly communication activities such as journal publication and technical writings have been enhanced with the utilization of internet technology. Electronic publishing replaced the dissemination of knowledge findings through printed documents. The utilization of electronic publishing concept offers more advantages over the traditional way of communicating knowledge. This study identifies the online publishing technology and capabilities which could support the development of the online publishing system. This paper presents a proposed framework used for developing an Online Publishing in the University of Malaya (OPUM). This proposed framework for OPUM system provides a platform and mechanism for the scholarly communities in UM to communicate within its societies in terms of sharing, extending, exchanging, promoting, debating and distributing their findings, ideas and knowledge via an online publishing system.
