Modern society imposes that it is necessary to search for a variety of teaching methods that actively engage all students in the educational process. To include each student is one of the biggest challenges of the modern teacher. Bearing in mind the results of the Association of Serbian IT professors, which indicate that 77% of students use the Internet every day for more than 4 hours, it is necessary to find a method that will help teachers to manage this challenge. On the other hand, the same study shows that there is an insufficient number of computers in schools that students could use in every class consistently, and only a small number of schools have just one lab with computers for each student. The paper presents the results of research in which teachers, after completing the training, had the opportunity to use the mathematical knowledge quiz. They also had the opportunity to use the quizzes in other subjects.

This is a philosophical study and involves conceptual analysis of existing documents on Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), Kenya's curriculum reforms and self-directed learning culture (SDLC). The study mainly focuses on how the curriculum reforms and curriculum for Kenyan CBC junior schools integrate science, and the current theoretical instructional model has promoted the development of SDLC. The data collected and analyzed is theoretical. This conceptual analysis applies the Kantian critical judgment theory model to analyses the data collected and assess findings using the reflective self-directed instructional model (RSIM). RSIM has standard sub-themes and learning strategies used in assessing SDLC. Key sub-themes and learning strategies used as standard are self-motivation, self-reflection, self-regulation, active learning, metacognition, and collaborative community of inquiry. Key theoretical premises and claims, co-premises, propositions, and supporting evidence are developed using the categories scrutinized and analyzed. According to the analysis, the study reveals a significant gap in the integration of SDLC within the CBC reforms and curriculum design. The study, therefore, proposes a novel instructional model to address this shortfall.

In the 21 st century, Higher Education Institutions have prioritized digital shift as an apparent and essential process for their institutions. In the face of the growing importance and demands of digital incorporation into the classroom and examination process, the HEIs in Bangladesh continue to impart online education even after the pandemic. Having this backdrop, the present research aims to identify the challenges that the HEIs in Bangladesh are facing in implementing digitalization. Since the present study aims to respond to the research questions of a qualitative and quantitative nature, data collection and analysis techniques from both methodologies are implemented, and the Mixed Method Research approach has been chosen as the methodology of this research. The study employed convenient sampling and involved a total of 100 students-50 from two public universities and 50 from two private universities in Bangladesh. Additionally, we included 10 teachers, with an equal distribution of 5 from public and 5 from private universities. Data was gathered through written survey questionnaires and interviews conducted with the participants. The study's findings revealed several significant challenges faced by higher education institutions (HEIs) in Bangladesh as a result of digital transformation. Key issues include a lack of a clear strategic vision (50%), inadequate policy and legislative frameworks (45%), insufficient digital literacy among stakeholders (83%), unreliable internet connectivity (33%), ineffective outcome-based digital teaching and learning platforms (67%), and serious concerns regarding digital campus network information security (83%). Objectives: This cross-sectional study examines factors shaping Turkish older adults' self-perceptions of aging and health (SPAH), emphasizing sociodemographic characteristics, critical health literacy, and perceived usefulness of information and communication technologies (ICTs). Drawing on data from 450 participants aged 65 and over in Istanbul, this crosssectional research employs a range of quantitative methods, including descriptive and comparative analyses, cross-tabulations, correlations, and path modeling. Results: Covariance analyses reveal a positive and significant relationship between perceptions of aging and health (B>0, p<0.05). The study's central contribution lies in uncovering a potential cognitive link between perceptions of aging and health. Path analysis also indicates that the perceived usefulness of ICTs influences critical health literacy, which in turn affects health perceptions. These results suggest that increasing the perceived usefulness of ICTs and critical health literacy can improve perceptions of aging and health. Another key result highlights that socio-demographically disadvantaged older people-particularly women, widows, and those with lower education and income levels-tend to report more negative perceptions of aging and health, along with lower ICT usefulness and critical health literacy. The findings underline how cumulative social disadvantages shape older adults' aging and health perceptions. By integrating individual-level cognitive factors with broader social determinants, this study addresses a significant gap in the Turkish context. Future research should track these perceptions over time to contribute to developing comprehensive health policies.

Digital India is one of the initiatives to digitally empower Indian
society.  Digital India is presumed to bring more accountability and
transparency in the governance. Digital India is a transformed version
of government’s already running E-governance programme. An
attempt has been made in this paper to analyze digital India
programme. This paper also endeavored to throw light on success
achieved till 2014-15, challenges ahead for realizing the vision of

Information and Technology has revolutionized and triggered new
avenues of growth. Governments in India have made endless efforts to
benefit its citizen. There are several ongoing social and economic
development projects, programmes and schemes in India for the
empowerment of its citizens. As the global scenario is changing India
has taken many initiatives to renew older ways of procedures and
governance. Government tries to be more responsive, participatory,
efficient and more transparent in its activities and in delivery of its
services. No doubt, digital India is a huge dream and no dream is so
big to be achieved. But there are some challenges which need to
overcome to make Digital India a reality.

This paper offers context and culture elicitation in an inter-cultural and multi-disciplinary setting of ICT design. Localised usability evaluation (LUE) is augmented with a socio-technical evaluation tool (STEM) as a methodological approach to expose and address issues in a collaborative ICT design within the Village e-Science for Life (VeSeL) project in rural Kenya. The paper argues that designers need to locally identify context and culture in situ and further explicate their implications through the design process and at the global level. Stakeholders' context, culture, decisions, agendas, expectations, disciplines and requirements need to be locally identified and globally evaluated to ensure a fit for purpose solution.

The integration of information and communication technology (ICT) with local wisdom in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning offers opportunities to make learning more contextual, relevant, and meaningful. However, this integration requires new competencies for PAI teachers-ranging from digital competencies, pedagogics, to the ability to contextualize local values religiously and ethically. This article examines the main challenges of integrating ICT and local wisdom in PAI learning and formulates the competencies of 21st century teachers needed to overcome them.

As a result of the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020, education institutions across the world had to come to a functional standstill since they had to protect their students from viral exposures thereby affecting academic activities. However, several institutions had to adopt online virtual learning environments (VLE) using basic information and communication technology tools to provide platforms for teaching and learning thereby mitigating the effects of the pandemic on the students. This study was focused on the identification of the various types of VLE tools that were adopted alongside the impact that these tools had on learning satisfaction and the academic performance of students of higher learning in Nigeria. This study adopted a purposive simple random selection of undergraduate students of the department of computer science who had adopted the use of VLE to learn during the period of the pandemic. The results of the study showed that the most popular VLE tools were Zoom, Google Classroom, WhatsApp, Telegram, Coursera, Google Forms and learning management systems (LMS) while the least popular VLE tools were Microsoft Teams, Moodle/Edmondo, and Google Meet. The results showed that the students agreed to their behavioral intention to use VLE, the impact of VLE on learning satisfaction, and the impact of VLE on academic performance alongside the existence of a positive correlation among the research variables.

This study aims to describe the principal's strategies in promoting the educational institution at SMK NU Temanggung. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results indicate that the principal employs various promotional strategies, such as utilizing social media, collaborating with external institutions, enhancing the school's image through positive activities, and conducting direct community outreach. These strategies are implemented to increase the school's competitiveness in attracting new students. The challenges encountered include limited funding, a lack of human resources skilled in digital promotion, and low public interest in vocational schools. To overcome these challenges, the principal conducts internal training, establishes partnerships with third parties, and maximizes the school's internal potential. In conclusion, appropriate and integrated promotional strategies are essential for enhancing the image and appeal of educational institutions.

This research examines how social media and new technologies contribute to women's entrepreneurship in Lagos, Nigeria. By looking at data from surveys and studying conversations online, the research analyses how women entrepreneurs in Lagos' main markets use technology to improve their businesses. The study recruited 895 women from various sectors in fashion, food retail and beauty services and looked at six physical locations: Yaba, Ikorodu, Bariga, Lagos Island, Surulere and Ojuelegba. We used a multistage method to pick people from each of the major socioeconomic strata in Lagos. Besides the survey, the study examined social media activity on five online groups covering Yaba, Idumota, Orile Coker, Ojuelegba and Lagos Island on Facebook over 12 months. Researchers looked at the daily activity, member discussions and message goals by watching the site in a non-disruptive manner, from selling products to networking. Results suggest that smartphones and WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook are main tools for communicating, marketing and growing a business. Digital literacy, the cost of devices and barriers from different cultures are still ongoing problems. It becomes clear from the results that many people use digital platforms in different ways and this is especially true in lower-interest markets which may require additional support and training to close the digital gap. It also offers new viewpoints on how women can involve themselves in digital tools, run enterprises and benefit from social media in promoting growth within their organisations.

One of Brazilian's grand challenges in computer science research concerns a "Participative and universal access to knowledge for the Brazilian citizen". In order to develop design solutions to address this challenge, we first need to understand these citizen's abilities and the context in which they are immersed. For that, we have been conducting practices actively involving a group of representatives of the diversity of users we have in the population. This paper presents the first results of this investigation, pointing out some lessons learned so far regarding the relationship they have with Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and how they make sense of different models of interaction to accomplish a simple task related to the exercise of citizenship. Among other findings, we were able to notice how their previous experience reflects on their behavior and the benefits of using an avatar in future systems.

This paper investigates the extent to which Information and Communication Technology (ICT) adoption and orientations influence the knowledge creation processes encompassed in the Nonaka -Takeuchi model in Romanian mediumsized enterprises (MSEs) from ICT sector. We use econometric analysis in order to confirm hypothesis regarding correlation between Nonaka-Takeuchi model variables and organizational learning. The results, based on a sample of 73 Romanian medium-sized enterprises (MSEs) from Bucharest-Ilfov County, indicate that ICT has a significant positive influence on knowledge creation processes.

HIGHLIGHTS  Majority of the farmers demonstrated digital access  More than half of the farmers had used generative AI, mostly for information access and basic research about their farm operations  Educational attainment significantly enhances AI awareness ABSTRACT The study, conducted in 2025, investigated the digital readiness and use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) among small-scale farmers in Nigeria. A multi-stage sampling technique was used to select 120 small-scale farmers, and data were collected through interview schedules. The majority (62.5%) were small-scale farmers with over ten years of farming experience. Many of the small-scale farmers had digital access as a lot of them owned smart phones (64.2%) had internet connectivity (65%), and regularly used the internet (53.3%). Traditional media (Radio and TV) (63.3%) remained their primary source of agricultural information. Extension service access (4.2%) was notably low. Many smallscale farmers (64.2%) had used generative AI, mainly for accessing information (45%) and conducting basic research about their farm operations and general well-being (17.5%), and most indicated willingness to continue its use (89.2%). However, major barriers to the use of generative AI included limited awareness and lack of access to digital devices. AI awareness was generally low but positively associated with education. Although generative AI adoption is growing, significant challenges remain, underscoring the need for targeted generative AI training in agriculture as well as the design and implementation of more generative AI awareness program.

An efficient management of chronic patients is a key element in the current and future Healthcare context. This paper aims at providing an overview of the PROASSIST 4.0 solution for an healthcare assistance territorial model 4.0. The proposed service relies on the integration between the organizational assets and advanced ICT technologies: a dynamic and adaptive system able to respond to the needs of citizens / patients and to support staff healthcare in the management of an ever-increasing number of patients is proposed. Kemajuan teknologi informasi mengharuskan desa untuk menyesuaikan diri dengan sistem digital demi meningkatkan pelayanan publik, transparansi, dan mempromosikan potensi lokal. Desa Sukorejo, Kecamatan Mojotengah, Kabupaten Wonosobo, masih mengalami kesulitan dalam penyampaian informasi akibat sistem administrasi yang masih manual. Melalui kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN), kami para mahasiswa menciptakan inovasi berupa situs web desa sebagai alat informasi dan sarana promosi. Metode yang diterapkan mencakup observasi, wawancara, desain, pelaksanaan, pelatihan, dan penilaian dalam jangka waktu 40 hari. Website desa yang dibuat berperan sebagai sumber informasi resmi, layanan administrasi daring, media keterbukaan, promosi potensi desa, dan sarana interaksi warga. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa adanya website mampu meningkatkan efisiensi pelayanan publik, memperkuat transparansi anggaran, mendorong keterlibatan masyarakat, serta mempromosikan potensi ekonomi dan budaya lokal secara lebih luas. Kata Kunci : Website desa, pelayanan publik, promosi desa, transparansi, Sukorejo ABSTRAK The development of information technology requires villages to adapt to digital systems in order to improve public services, transparency, and the promotion of local potential. Sukorejo Village, located in Mojotengah District, Wonosobo Regency, still faces challenges in information dissemination due to its conventional manual administration system. Through a Community Service Program (KKN), students initiated an innovation by developing a village website as an information platform and promotional media. The method employed consisted of observation, interviews, design, implementation, training, and evaluation carried out over 40 days. The village website functions as an official information center, a digital administrative service, a medium for transparency, a platform for promoting local potential, and a channel for community interaction. The results show that the website significantly improves public service efficiency, strengthens budget transparency, encourages community participation, and promotes local economic and cultural potential more widely. With content management training provided, the sustainability of website utilization is expected to be maintained, enabling the village to appear more modern, transparent, and competitive in the digital era.

The active participation of local people in development is the core of political decentralization. Drawing from both literature and empirical evidence from three districts in the Upper West region of Ghana, this paper examines the extent to which local people participate in District Assemblies' activities through interviews and focus group discussions. It concludes that there is less citizenship participation in the District Assembly concept than is expected. This is because of low awareness among citizens, the poor remuneration of Assembly persons and ill-resourcefulness of the Area Councils and the partisanship and appointment of 30% of assembly persons to the Assembly. The paper recommends the creation of more awareness among the citizens, election of district chief executives by universal adult suffrage and the resourcing of the area or zonal councils.

E-facilitation and indeed teaching and learning as well as lecturing and students facilitation is being faced with serious challenges such as poor technical knowledge, facilities, maintenance, power supply, spare parts as well as government and institutional mangers attitude and resistance to innovations by leaders. Hence the need for ICT knowledge and ability to apply its knowledge into practice by many lecturers and administrators in our institutions of higher learning, some of the benefits of e-facilitations are enhanced students engagement, increase flexibility and accessibility, improved collaborations and communications, personalized learning, efficient assessment and feedback, data-driven decision making as well as cost-effectiveness. Based on these fact, the paper examined the influence of ICT on e-facilitation in some selected public tertiary institutions in Sokoto state: implications for educational counselling. Using three (3) research question, objectives and hypotheses, with descriptive research of survey type using lecturers from four (4) tertiary institutions in Sokoto state as population, two hundred and twenty (220) lecturers from four (4) tertiary institutions in Sokoto state will be purposively and randomly selected, two (2) researcher designed instruments will be employed in the study Frequency, Percentages and chi-square statistics will be used in analyzing the data generated for the study.

The starting point of the project is the observation that new information and communication technologies (leT) are often introduced without taking into account the requirements of elderly and/or disabled users, resulting in products and services that are hardly usable by those users. A method for identifying enablers for future e-Services is described. In short it identifies usability problems with future interation technologies and map these future interaction technologies to e-Services. The results of investigations using this method allow stakeholders in different stages of the research and development Iifecycle e-Services to spot potential difficulties in the design of user interfaces which could cause elderly or disabled users to experience usability issues.

This article, prepared by an international team of authors -– researchers from different scientific areas, connected with ICT, e-learning, pedagogy, and other related disciplines –, focuses on the objectives and some results of the IRNet international project IRNet. In particular, this article describes the research tools, methods, and some procedures of the Work Package 4 (henceforth: WP4) “Selection and Testing New ICT tools”: Objectives, Tasks, Deliverables, and implementation of research trips. Researchers from partner universities have analyzed analysed the results of WP4 in the context of the next stages and Work packages Packages of the IRNet project – International Research Network.

This article, prepared by an international team of authors -researchers from different scientific areas, connected with ICT, e-learning, pedagogy, and other related disciplines -focuses on the objectives and some results of the IRNet international project. In particular, this article describes the research tools, methods and some procedures of the WP3 "Analyses and Evaluation of the ICT Level, E-learning and Intercultural Development in Every Participating Country": Objectives, Tasks, Deliverables, and implementation of research trips. Except that, the article presents more important events, such as (video)conferences, seminars, workshops, an e-round table debate; among these events are ICTE2014, DLCC2014, "New Educational Strategies in Modern Information Space," "Hightech information educational environment," during which some more important results of the project research were presented. The list of publications includes 32 papers and a manuscript with WP3 results.

This research aims to describe the form of digital-based science learning innovation and analyze its role in improving Generation Z's science literacy. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The research informants consisted of science teachers, generation Z students, and school principals who were purposively selected.
The results showed that digital-based science learning innovation was realized through the use of e-learning platforms, virtual simulations, interactive videos, and digital project-based learning. The implementation of this learning is able to improve students' science literacy, especially in terms of concept understanding, critical thinking skills, problem solving, and information literacy. Supporting factors for success include
adequate digital infrastructure, teacher readiness, and active student involvement, while barriers include limited facilities, gaps in teacher competence in technology, and potential student distraction when using
gadgets. This research confirms that digital-based science learning innovation has a significant contribution in strengthening Generation Z's science literacy in the digital era.

The potential effectiveness of personalized nutrition communication through the Internet is promising in terms of addressing personal relevance, flexibility, interactive options and amount of people that can be reached. However, little research on the contribution to behaviour change has been done. The MyFood program at Wageningen University aims at providing insight into strategies to implement personalized nutrition communication through interactive tools. In this article we present the framework for research on social acceptance of personalized nutrition communication through interactive computer technology as part of the MyFood program.

In this age of information, as a step towards e-governance, governments across the globe have incorporated one e-government initiative or the other and Nigeria is not exempted. Nigeria has the most lucrative and fastest growing telecommunications and Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) industry in Africa. However, it is rated low in the use of ICT to provide service to its citizens and businesses. ICT in itself as a veritable tool for good governance and e-government has proven to be one of the most important performance indexes for measuring the public sector reform. E-government provides easy interface with citizens, free and quick access to information, transparency, accountability, and in the long run prevention of corruption. This work presents a holistic understanding of e-government development and participation indices, offer a critical analysis of e-government performance in Nigeria and attempt to predict future results of the United Nations e-Government Survey up to 2025 for Nigeria. The data used was the EGDI and EPI ranking from 2003-2016. The methodology applied is simple non seasonal forecasting model on SPSS. A careful analysis of the data shows a number of factors affecting e-governance in Nigeria. The forecast revealed that Nigeria may make meaningful progress when all the established institutions are improving on delivery of services to the citizen through online channels.

In many areas, especially education, information and communication technologies (ICT) are seen as being a significant agent for change and improving pedagogical practices, as there has been positive discourse around their value. Teachers' accounts of everyday classroom use of technology are being explored to build a theoretical, pedagogical, and practical understanding of educational practice that involves technology as an intrinsic component of the classroom. As technology continues to evolve, educational praxis and pedagogy change alongside it. It is therefore important to explore what the role of technology is, as reported by practitioners in mainstream schools within an intensive and particularly challenging urban context. The current study aims to understand teachers' use of technology in their daily classroom practices to contribute to collaboration between teachers and pupils. Twelve interviews were conducted with primary school teachers in England. The participating teachers came from five different schools based in South and North London, and one school in West London. The findings of the current study showed ICT supports interaction and collaboration; thus, pupils can learn from each other with the supportive pedagogical features of ICT. However, collaboration is limited to creating posters and slides, and also there is limited practices of collaboration between pupils with and without special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), so collaboration that supports problem-solving skills and the development of metacognitive skills was reported as typically absent.

ICT in smart grid provides enormous opportunities for real-time and wide-area grid monitoring, protection and control. To this aim, synchrophasor technology was proposed for reliable and secure transmission of grid status information. IEEE C37.118 and IEC 61850-90-5 emerged as two well known communication frameworks for synchrophasor technology. However, literature lacks a comprehensive analysis of some key features and limitations. Further, knowledge of cyber vulnerabilities in both communication frameworks is still quite limited. This paper analyzes characteristics of both communication frameworks inferred from their complete implementation. In particular, it addresses their embedded features, required network characteristics/resources and their resilience against cyber attacks.

The integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has become an indispensable element of modern higher education, with universities worldwide increasingly adopting digital tools to enhance teaching, research, and administration. However, Nigerian universities continue to grapple with significant challenges in achieving full ICT integration, including infrastructural deficits, inadequate funding, limited digital literacy, weak policy implementation, and socio-cultural barriers. This paper adopts a qualitative, literature-based approach, drawing on scholarly articles, policy documents, and institutional reports to critically examine these challenges within the Nigerian context. Findings reveal that while policies such as the National Policy on Information Technology have provided frameworks for ICT adoption, implementation remains inconsistent, particularly in public universities that serve the majority of students. The consequences of these challenges extend to teaching quality, research productivity, administrative efficiency, and graduate employability, thereby limiting the ability of Nigerian universities to compete globally in the digital era. The paper recommends a multi-level strategy involving stronger policy enforcement by government and the National Universities Commission (NUC), institutional commitment to ICT integration, continuous staff and student capacity building, and sustainable financing through public-private partnerships. Future-oriented solutions such as cloud computing, e-learning platforms, and artificial intelligence integration are also proposed to align Nigerian universities with global best practices. By addressing these barriers, universities in Nigeria can harness the transformative potential of ICT to improve academic quality, strengthen research outputs, and contribute meaningfully to national development in an increasingly knowledge-driven economy.

The SMB supercomputing service provides a supercomputing infrastructure for Small and Medium-sized Business (SMB) to enhance the efficiency of product development activity. In this study, the economic value of SMB supercomputing service is presented. The economic value of service is comprised of a direct and an indirect economic value. A direct economic value was estimated based on the result of user survey on service effectiveness. The input-output analysis method was adopted to estimate an indirect economic value induced from a direct economic value. The future economic value based on the result of user demand survey is also presented. As a result, the annual and future economic value of service were estimated about 55,215 million won and 323,928 million won, respectively.

The year 2020 was marked by the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, whose impact on the entire world was unprecedented. The rapid spread of this virus has led to health, economic, and social crises on a global scale. Indeed, it is one of the greatest challenges we have faced since World War II. Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have indeed brought significant changes in the field of university education, improving access to information, enabling distance learning, facilitating collaboration and communication, and offering innovative tools for learning and assessment. These changes have not only enriched the educational experience but have also opened new perspectives for education on an international scale.

The purpose of this case study is to clarify the characteristics of communication about the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) among teachers by analyzing elementary schools where document cameras and computers are used on a daily basis. The results of interviews are depicted in a diagram called a "communication flow" regarding teachers who sought information or advice, and teachers whose information or advice was sought by other teachers. There was a tendency for less experienced teachers, and those who were slow to begin document cameras and computers use, to ask for information from more experienced teachers who had adopted the use of document cameras and computers earlier. In addition, the presence of two teachers as advisors was revealed. In the surveyed school, almost every teacher is embedded in the school-wide communication network headed by these two teachers, and it became clear that this is a perfect environment for getting information and advice about not only the use of ICT for teaching but technical details of document cameras and computers.

The use of ICT in learning is critical in development of any society. Today's learning has emphasized its importance as basis for 21st century knowledge acquisition. This study investigated the availability and utilization of ICT facilities in Madonna University, Nigeria with particular reference to the Okija campus. It employed the descriptive survey design with self structured questionnaire and observation checklist for data collection. Three hundred students made up the population of the study. The data was analysed using simple frequency, percentages and mean scores. A benchmark of 2.5 was used for acceptance or rejection of data collated. The findings showed that the ICT section has resources and facilities that are available which the students utilized to certain extent. It also showed the frequency of use by the users. Although there are issues as some ICT facilities are not available, thereby not utilized by the students. Other challenges are inadequate assistance from staff, epileptic power supply and irregular internet connectivity among others. Recommendations were given to include provision of more ICT facilities, regular updates and trainings on use of ICT, among others.

The study was carried out to investigate the availability and utilization of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) facilities for teaching and learning of Physics education in tertiary institutions in south-south geopolitical zone of Nigeria. The study adopted descriptive design. The population of the study comprised of all Physics teachers and students in all the tertiary institutions of the south-south geopolitical zone of Nigeria. The sample of the study comprised of ten (10) Physics teachers and five (5) Physics \ students each from four universities, four Polytechnics and four Colleges of Education drawn from the six states in the southsouth geopolitical zone of Nigeria. The instrument for data collection was structured four point scale questionnaire. Four research questions guided the study. The research questions were analyzed using mean and standard deviation. The results of the data analysis showed that most of the ICT facilities that will enhance the teaching and learning of Physics are not available. The study also revealed that the extent to which teachers and students use ICT facilities for teaching and learning of Physics education is low. Furthermore, the results from the study also show that the level of ICT skills of both the Physics teachers and students are high but there are lot of challenges facing the use of ICT facilities for teaching and learning of Physics education in tertiary institutions in south-south geopolitical zone of Nigeria.

This paper studies the rising challenges to Khyber Pakhtunkhawa public libraries administration in setting of goals and achieving targets. A quantitative based study was designed to know the expert opinion by analyzing data using statistical software (SPSS). Questionnaire survey was conducted in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa public libraries to know the critical factors. Findings of the research showed non-professional administrators with no research background are unable to keep pace with demanding issues at hand.

Based on the findings from the baseline study, conducted prior to the present study, this research seeks to evaluate (using a static, non-equivalent, group design) the effect of Constructionist Computer-Aided Instructional Learning Model (CCAILM) approach, used in some South African Universities, for studying fluid mechanics in mechanical engineering classes. This new learning model is derived from constructionist learning theory, media-affects-learning hypothesis and multiple representation principle. The results of the data analysis indicate that CCAILM learning approach enhances the learning of fluid mechanics in mechanical engineering classes.

The proliferation of Internet of Things (IoT) devices – especially smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, and smart home devices – has transformed how teenagers and young adults communicate and form relationships. This study examines the hypothesis that pervasive IoT use can negatively affect youth emotional intelligence (EI) components (empathy, emotion recognition, self-regulation) and interpersonal relationships (peer, family, romantic). A literature review draws on psychological and sociological research to describe how constant connectivity may erode face-to-face communication, hinder empathy development, and alter social norms, with attention to Western versus South Asian cultural differences. A survey of 59 youth (ages ~13–25) was conducted via a Google Form, probing device use, daily usage hours, and self-reported emotional and relational outcomes. Results are presented with descriptive statistics and derived tables: for example, Table 1 shows that 94% of respondents regularly use smartphones (and smaller proportions use tablets, wearables, etc.). A majority report some difficulty understanding others’ emotions (e.g. 29 said “slightly” affected) and frequent misunderstandings with friends/family (49 reported “sometimes” versus only 12 “never”) due to IoT use. Nearly half (43%) report IoT use “worsened a little” their empathy. In contrast, some unexpectedly report slight improvements, possibly from increased online support, but overall the trend suggests emotional distancing and distractions. The discussion integrates these findings with scholarly work: for instance, Turkle (2015) found smartphones on tables reduce the “empathic connection” between conversation partners[1]. Cultural context is considered: South Asian collectivist values (emphasizing family and community) may buffer or exacerbate technoference differently than Western individualism[2]. Ethical implications are addressed, including privacy risks and the design of addictive technologies. In conclusion, the evidence supports concern that excessive IoT use can impair youth social skills and emotional awareness. Recommendations include encouraging device-free interactions and educating families about mindful technology habits.
