Este artículo explora cómo las PYMES mexicanas han transformado sus operaciones utilizando Lean Startup y Design Thinking en entornos de recursos limitados, a través de casos reales y testimonios de emprendedores recopilados hasta septiembre de 2025. Ofrece estrategias prácticas para dueños de PYMES, emprendedores, gerentes y estudiantes de MBA, destacando la adaptabilidad y sostenibilidad en contextos desafiantes.

Cette recherche se propose de contribuer à la connaissance da la notion d’équipe entrepreneuriale et de ses caractéristiques à travers la compréhension de la manière dont elle prend les décisions. Elle vise à mieux connaître le rôle de l’hétérogénéité des membres dans les prises de décisions. This paper explores the educator experience and sense-making of design thinking pedagogy in the higher education context. Design thinking has become a pedagogical phenomenon in higher education due to its widespread relevance across many disciplines. Introduzione Il settore farmaceutico sta vivendo una fase di trasformazione significativa, guidata da evoluzioni tecnologiche, normative e sociali. In un contesto così dinamico, la necessità di promuovere un confronto sistematico tra i principali stakeholder-e in particolare tra i manager delle aziende farmaceutiche-risulta centrale per l'analisi delle sfide emergenti e per l'identificazione di bisogni ancora non soddisfatti, con un'attenzione costante alla centralità del paziente. In risposta a questa esigenza, l'Osservatorio Comunicazione Medico Scientifica (OCMS) ha proposto un modello "Eccellenze Alumni", un modello del Think Tank (TT) fondato sul Design Thinking (DT) come strumento metodologico per un confronto strutturato tra esperti del settore farmaceutico e per facilitare la condivisione di insight utili capaci di generare idee e soluzioni innovative.

Design Thinking is gaining considerable attention across various domains including education; however its use in Executive Education has not been documented much in the literature to date. By integrating Design Thinking principles and methodologies into the curriculum for Executive learners, we highlight the benefits and outcomes of using Design Thinking as a pedagogical approach. This study explores the effective application of Design Thinking as pedagogy in two modules of an Executive MBA programme at Newcastle University Business School. Abstract
Design thinking is an approach developed to integrate designers' principles, strategies, methods, and tools into problem-solving processes. This approach is user-centered. On the other hand, construction management focuses on developing, preserving, and improving the built environment.
Although design thinking and construction management may initially seem like quite distinct concepts, recent studies suggest that integrating design thinking into construction management approaches can aid in solving problems encountered during management processes. This study investigates the existing literature on construction management and the design thinking approach, highlighting the areas emphasized by these studies. The research reveals that while the topic is not extensively covered in the literature, some studies focus on integrating the design thinking system into management processes and emphasize the necessity of integrating design thinking and construction management into
educational stages. As a result, it has been observed that further research is needed to develop theories on how the design thinking approach and construction management can be integrated, and there is a
necessity for an increase in related studies in the literature.

Denmark has the ambition that in 2020 half of the country's electricity production should be derived from sustainable energy sources, mainly wind energy. This creates a new set of challenges since you cannot control when the wind blows the same way you decide when to burn fossil fuels. Instead the user has to become involved in managing the system by adjusting consumption to production. This situation creates the need for a new understanding of electricity as well as a new set of habits concerning the way we use it. This paper investigates the potential role of design in changing the conception and use of electricity. It takes its starting point in two design projects made on Kolding School of Design as part of the national Danish Smart-Grid Project iPower1, a video called 'Passing Through' and the 'e-watch' a tool for visualizing the relationship between time and energy and planning energy consuming activities. These projects investigate in different ways the relationship between science, aesthetic communication and social systems. They are used as examples in order to draw a general outline of the role of design in the sustainable transition of energy systems. The problems addressed are rooted in the Danish case but the overall problems concern every energy system that aims at incorporating fluctuating energy sources and may serve as inspiration for including these aspects in the global development of sustainable energy systems.

An important participation in the urban public transport offer of Quito is in the hands of the private company. Given the high demand, it will show the safety indicators and the quality of the service. This fact is the fundamental motivation of this article, which verified the compliance with the INEN 2205 standard for passenger and driver seats in a specific urban transport company. A sample of the units is shown and each point shows a body model. In particular, measurements were made of seats using: flexometer, bubble level and inclinometer. In addition, visual inspections and simple experiments of mechanical friction were carried out to evaluate the qualitative characteristics. Finally, a simple verification count was performed on the sample and confidence intervals and hypothesis tests were constructed for the statistical ratio. Complex problems of public services and the changing world force public institutions to innovate. Service design can be considered as one of the essential tools for innovations in the public sector. However, it is not well realized and not widely used worldwide. This research attempts to understand the challenges and opportunities for design-driven public service innovation in order to find ways to spread this discipline through the public sector. Even though they also encounter barriers in public sector, design schools can be one of the most important actors for design-driven innovation in the public sector. Design schools and public sector collaborations can be gain for both parties. While public sector could be introduced design driven innovation, design schools can see public organizations as an experimentation area for research and education. Therefore, to gather relevant data, sixteen case studies of design schools and public organizations partnerships around the world are reviewed in terms of their actors, aims, outcomes, and results. This research is a part of an ongoing Ph.D. study in an Industrial Design Department in Turkey.

Design Thinking and Organizational Ergonomics are complementary approaches that can be collaboratively applied to improve the efficiency and quality of work within an organization. In the context of healthcare, where issues such as long waits, lack of personalized care, and easy access to information are common, the combination of Design Thinking and Organizational Ergonomics can bring significant benefits. These approaches enable the identification of improvement points in the patient journey and offer more assertive solutions. In a study conducted at a medical office in Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina, Brazil; qualitative and exploratory-experimental methods were used to identify problems and possible macroergonomic interventions. Interviews and direct observations were conducted, combined with the Design Thinking tool known as the Experience Compelling Map. This approach allowed for insights into the customer experience and evaluation of the sociotechnical system characteristics of the organization. The study focuses on the early stages of a macroergonomic project, namely inspiration and ideation, without addressing the implementation of the proposed solutions. The final delivery of the article is based on the four elements of a work system project: network, layout, technology, and work.

Analyzing questionnaires is one of the most important steps in scientific research, as it helps researchers extract results and make decisions based on the collected data. Among the effective tools for statistical data analysis, **SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences)** stands out as one of the most widely used programs in this field. 

SPSS enables researchers to enter, organize, and analyze data using various statistical techniques such as frequencies, statistical tests, regression analysis, and cross-tabulations. This analysis helps in understanding relationships between variables, testing research hypotheses, and drawing conclusions based on scientific principles. 

In this context, this study explores how to analyze questionnaire forms using SPSS, starting from data entry, through data cleaning and analysis, to interpreting and presenting the results in a clear and effective manner.

In an era where humanity faces unprecedented complexity, it is striking that Design Thinking Method (DTM) remains one of the most underestimated qualitative research methodologies. While it has gained traction in innovation and business contexts, its value as a rigorous, systematic approach to research remains largely underappreciated. Unlike other methods, DTM uniquely addresses the multi-causal, systemic, and behavioral dimensions of today's wicked problems-those that are deeply complex, socially embedded, and resistant to traditional problem-solving techniques [1,2]. Given the increasing urgency of global challenges such as climate change, inequality, and governance failures, the research community can no longer afford to dismiss DTM as merely an applied, practitionerdriven tool. Instead, let it be recognized for what it is: a powerful, iterative, and collaborative method uniquely suited to tackling the world's most pressing issues.

Contemporary developments have triggered the emergence of interdisciplinarity, which fosters learning across different areas of expertise. Particularly, the volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity (VUCA) are reshaping perspectives across all management-related areas, from private to public sectors and from strategy to policy level. This article explores the historical developments of strategy and design and how these domains are converging toward an interdisciplinary perspective: design management or strategic design. Over the last 40 years, developments in each domain have posed common questions and established the interdisciplinary intersection of design management, relying on the notion of design culture and proposing alternatives to achieve sustainable competitive advantage. These discussions have extended beyond academia to boardrooms, fostering innovative solutions and becoming focal points for management consulting firms. This article examines how this intersection and interdisciplinarity are shaping management consulting services and empowering firms that act as early adopters of collective, participatory, iterative, and evidence-based design-oriented methodologies.

Through the current creative processes, we can see how craftsmanship has become an important part of the production of various creators whose creations vindicate collaborative, processual and identity-based values based on contemporary notions. The concept of craftsmanship has been vindicated as part of their theoretical-practical research in productions that are cultural rather than artistic. This article analyzes the diversification and new ways in which several international artists propose a revision of the theories on the use of ornament, craftsmanship and handicrafts that have often been relegated to a minority practice associated with female labour.


A través de los procesos creativos actuales podemos constatar cómo la artesanía ha entroncado una parte importante de la producción de diversas creadoras, cuya creación reivindica los valores colaborativos, procesuales e identitarios desde nociones contemporáneas. El concepto de lo artesanal ha sustentado parte de sus investigaciones teórico-prácticas en creaciones, más que artísticas, culturales. Este artículo analiza la diversificación y los nuevos modos en que varias artistas internacionales proponen una revisión de las teorías sobre el uso del ornamento, lo artesanal y la artesanía que en muchas ocasiones ha quedado relegada a una práctica minoritaria y asociada al trabajo femenino.

Over the last 20 years, the growing recognition of sport as an enabler of sustainable development has allowed Sport for Development (SFD) to emerge as a dynamic research field featuring contributions from a wide range of scholarly disciplines. Within this research, evaluation has played a prominent role, especially against the background of omnipresent demands to ‘prove impact’ and legitimize the field. Despite the growth of scholarly activity, the field remains largely scattered with limited interdisciplinary engagement. This article presents an overview of the conceptualization and implementation of SFD research and evaluation, encompassing study types and methodological approaches. Findings were generated from a scoping review of publications on research and evaluation activities in the SFD field, guided by the newly proposed Evaluation Research Framework. They highlight that the field is suffering from terminological imprecisions that lead to vague and often undifferentiated debates about methodologies and approaches. Moreover, there remains a limited progression of theoretical advancements in SFD, with purposeful engagement across disciplines and innovative developments still being underutilized. We conclude that if SFD scholars remain within their disciplinary silos and do not move towards a common interdisciplinary research understanding, the field will continue to suffer from confusing theorization processes with limited prospects for further academic advancement and practical development.

This study represents one of the earliest attempts to bring together two siloed paradigms viz. design thinking and
knowledge management process capabilities to propose a novel ambidextrous approach for developing dynamic
capabilities in individuals. An alternative conceptualization of connection between design thinking and dynamic
capabilities has been unfolded by empirically establishing that the effect of design thinking on dynamic capabilities
of individuals is indirect and realized through the development of knowledge management process capabilities.
Through rigorous statistical analysis, including subgroup analyses based on gender, design thinking
training, and work experience, the study provides valuable insights for individuals and organizations seeking to
cultivate dynamic capabilities. The newly developed assessment instruments can be used to identify strengths,
weaknesses, and areas for development in these areas.

The new ACRL Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education is an opportunity for IL instructors to ask themselves whether their current approaches to instruction are meeting the higher goals of IL education. Instructors might reexamine their pedagogical approaches by considering their own knowledge practices and dispositions in teaching IL. How might we best create a space in which the desired student knowledge practices and dispositions flourish? How can we approach IL education as fellow students-ones who just happen to be at a different point on the same path of lifelong learning?

Scientific literature and publications in the IS field have highlighted numerous project cases that exceed the financial resources and have delays, or do not deliver the functionality originally specified. Project Model Canvas has been adopted by several organizations to reduce these problems. In this context, this study aims to describe and apply the concepts of project management in information systems (IS), using this method. Project Model Canvas method uses concepts of project management, neuroscience and design thinking to simplify the elaboration of a project plan. It allows to improve the performance and results of IS projects as well as facilitates project governance process.

Purpose: Data-overload is a generic, complicated issue, affecting data-analysis processes for many researchers. The challenge emanates from the researcher collecting volumes of data that hinder their ability to engage in higher-level data-analysis processes. Despite the existence of numerous frameworks towards understanding the world, novice qualitative researchers often become overwhelmed, disregard guidelines, and neglect to clearly explain their data-analysis processes. This paper discusses the author’s experience with data-overload and how the three-phase coding process and collaborative decision-making with other stakeholders helped overcome challenges. The aim is to offer new accounting science researchers a set of examples, to serve as benchmarks when dealing with data-overload in their qualitative research projects.

Methodology/Approach: The author employs narrative reflection, to capture the interpretive thematic data-analysis of in-depth interviews and document-based datasets derived from a completed dissertation. This paper’s discussions are based on the key factors of data-overload and data-analysis concepts provided by the literature review. Charmaz’s constructivist grounded theory principles and Creswell’s spiral framework were used to present an open, axial and focused coding process, organising data around concepts, and forming categories and themes for theory development.

Implications and Value: The three-phase coding method in qualitative data-analysis can effectively help navigate data-overload and provide reliable insights concerning the collected data. The developed frameworks can assist accounting science students and supervisors, as  supplementary resources in addition to existing guidance, when they experience data-overload in their qualitative research projects.

The study here aimed to work on evaluating and preparing a mentoring program for all trainers to train on appropriate academic skills for Iraqi high school students, with investigation and knowledge of the extent of effectiveness and the relationship between the motivation for achievement and academic achievement, The study sample here consisted of ( ) secondary students in one of the Iraqi schools in the capital, Baghdad, It was divided into two equal parts, and this first part represents these individuals as the control group in it, (14) male and female students in the second section of the experimental group, and they were ( ) students as well. The two researcher worked on training that selected experimental group on the training program, which consists of (11-12) sessions, each one hour long, while none of the control group members received any training. Data here were used statistically using the single-factor analysis method Measuring the impact of the proposed training program on the level of achievement motivation, and the average academic achievement level of the research study sample.

J'ai souvent utilisé cette analogie, faisant plutôt référence à la définition : « Course à pied de grand fond (42,195 km) sur route » durant l'écriture de ce manuscrit. Cette métaphore m'a permis d'offrir à mon entourage des repères sur mon niveau d'engagement et d'avancement. Après quatre marathons, je ne saurais dire avec lucidité lequel de ces deux défis réclame le plus de motivation. Je ne me lancerai cependant pas dans l'écriture de trois autres thèses ! L'analogie ne se résume pas seulement à la longueur éprouvante de l'épreuve. On peut également filer la métaphore en évoquant les capacités nécessaires mobilisées : un engagement sans faille, de la détermination, de la résilience, tenir un rythme régulier… Tout comme le marathon, la confection d'une thèse est une aventure au sein de laquelle on se dépasse, on apprend sur soi. Estando fisicamente presentes, observando diretamente seu cotidiano e interagindo com esses atores, os pesquisadores, através da aplicação de ferramentas e instrumentos de coleta de dados, têm acesso a informações relevantes, tangíveis e intangíveis, que podem confirmar hipóteses, gerar insights e orientar projetos socialmente justos e éticos, ambientalmente responsáveis, economicamente viáveis e culturalmente inclusivos.

Desde los albores de la humanidad, el ser ha buscado simplificar su vida haciendo uso de los recursos disponibles en cada época. Este impulso ha dado lugar a la creación de estrategias metodológicas activas, propiciadas por las nuevas herramientas tecnológicas (TIC). En este contexto, el presente trabajo propone el uso de técnicas de gamificación para la enseñanza de la matemática financiera a estudiantes de secundaria. Esta gamificación consiste en aplicar elementos de los juegos a contextos educativos con el objetivo de motivar e inspirar a los aprendices, y ayudarles a aprender los conceptos de forma más divertida y motivadora. La propuesta se basa en una unidad didáctica de 2 meses, en la que los estudiantes deberán enfrentarse a cuatro desafíos y un desafío especial. La gamificación está inspirada con el juego de moda Fortnite: Battle Royale, y están diseñados para cubrir los conceptos básicos de matemática financiera. Para llevar a cabo esta propuesta de innovación, se utilizaron varias herramientas de gamificación disponibles en línea, especialmente la aplicación de Genially, que es donde se desarrolla la trama y está basada en la modalidad del escape room. Para la dinámica interna en esta primera aplicación, también se utilizaron aplicaciones como Educaplay, Kahoot y otras aplicaciones diseñadas para aprender finanzas como el juego de Cash Flow y un bróker para prácticas de simulación. Para gestionar la unidad con respecto a los puntos de experiencia, premios y demás, se utilizó MyclassGame. En general los resultados de este trabajo muestran que la gamificación es una herramienta prometedora para la enseñanza de la matemática financiera. La gamificación puede ayudar a motivar e inspirar a los estudiantes, y puede contribuir a un mejor aprendizaje de los conceptos.

This paper discusses in depth how to integrate the local wisdom and quality education concepts of Nanjing Velvet Flower into the development and implementation of the aesthetic education curriculum from the perspective of intangible cultural heritage protection. Analyzing the historical development, production process, and cultural value of Nanjing velvet flowers establishes the basis of the curriculum with Nanjing velvet flowers as the theme content introduces in detail the concept of “Nanjing velvet flowers” aesthetic education curriculum and how to integrate the concept of a quality education into the development of the curriculum. This study adopts qualitative research, mainly local wisdom and quality education. It adopts two data collection methods, namely, literature research and field survey, and presents them as descriptive analysis. The study results show Nanjing velvet flowers have a long history and culture. In contrast, velvet flowers are a product of the people’s social life and ecological environment at that time. The students’ design and production results were demonstrated through actual cases, proving the effectiveness of this kind of combined education. The article highlights the positive impact of quality education on students’ aesthetic quality, creativity, practical ability, and teamwork and provides new ideas for protecting and inheriting traditional handicrafts. This study combines educational innovation with the realization of the quality education of Nanjing Velvet Flower in various ways with the support of schools and the government. This is of great value and significance to integrating Nanjing velvet flowers’ non-heritage skills into the research and development of aesthetic education programs and the Chinese government’s promotion of the protection and development of traditional cultural handicrafts.

The retail industryʹs shift from traditional to online platforms has heightened the need for effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to improve digital marketing outcomes. SEO involves optimizing a websiteʹs technical and content features to increase its visibility in search engine results, potentially driving traffic, enhancing brand awareness, and boosting revenue. This systematic review aims to evaluate the impact of various SEO tactics on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the retail sector, focusing on key performance metrics such as website traffic, search engine rankings, conversion rates, and overall business growth. A comprehensive search was conducted across major academic databases, including Google Scholar, Scopus, and Web of Science, resulting in 102 studies published between 2014 and 2024. The methodological approach utilized both narrative synthesis and quantitative analysis to evaluate the quality and findings of the selected studies, following PRISMA2020 guidelines. The analysis shows that effective SEO practices, such as robust content marketing, technical SEO enhancements, and precise keyword optimization, lead to significant improvements in digital performance metrics. Specifically, up to a 30% increase in website traffic was observed, and keyword optimization improved click-through rates by 20% to 40%. The impact on conversion rates was more variable, with improvements ranging from 10% to 25%, influenced by factors like SEO quality and market conditions. Considering the public administration's interest in using the service design approach to solve wicked problems through innovation departments called Public Sector Innovation Labs, this research aims to identify and characterize notorious aspects of design as a generator of public action. To this end, it analyzes projects carried out in two innovation laboratories that are municipal and federal, respectively. From the field research, which took place through the triangulation of interviews, institutional reports and other academic publications on the respective laboratories, the study revealed characteristics related to the creation, implementation and refinement of public policies, as well as the reinforcement of the tangibility of information, collaboration, experimental vision and challenge to the status quo in the conduct of projects, aspects considered to be basic to the creation in service design.
