El proceso de Romanizacion de la Peninsula Iberica y los cambios que supuso en la organizacion sociopolitica y socio-economica de las comunidades establecidas en ella es uno de los principales temas de investigacion en Arqueologia e Historia Antigua. El estudio de esta problematica se ha venido enfocando principalmente tanto por medio de los estudios de territorio como del analisis de los diversos materiales recuperados en las excavaciones arqueologicas. Sin embargo, la incorporacion de la informacion aportada por el estudio de los restos de fauna solo ha empezado a realizarse, en ocasiones todavia de modo muy puntual, en estos ultimos anos.

Buku "Hukum Agraria" ini mengupas secara komprehensif tentang hukum yang mengatur hak atas tanah di Indonesia, dari segi sejarah, filosofi, hingga penerapannya dalam konteks sosial dan politik. Buku ini membahas berbagai isu penting terkait pertanahan, termasuk hak ulayat masyarakat hukum adat, hak pengelolaan tanah, serta hak-hak atas tanah lainnya yang relevan dengan kebijakan agraria nasional. Dilengkapi dengan analisis mendalam mengenai reformasi agraria, buku ini juga mengeksplorasi dampak hukum agraria kolonial terhadap sistem pertanahan Indonesia yang masih dirasakan hingga saat ini.

Korupsi sistemik dalam pengelolaan sumber daya alam (SDA) Indonesia merentang dari hulu hingga hilir, terutama di sektor strategis seperti tambang, kehutanan, sawit, perikanan, dan bioenergi. Di tingkat hulu, misalnya, kebijakan diskretif seperti UU Cipta Kerja dan Proyek Strategis Nasional mengabaikan partisipasi publik dan kajian lingkungan. Manipulasi regulasi, seperti revisi UU Minerba, membuka ruang state capture oleh oligarki. Dampaknya, kerusakan ekologis masif dan konflik sosial, seperti kasus food and energy estate di Merauke, ekspansi perkebunan sawit di seluruh Indonesia, dan banyaknya konflik tambang. Mafia peradilan memperparah situasi melalui suap dan kriminalisasi aktivis. Akibatnya, ketimpangan ekonomi memburuk meski status negara meningkat. Reformasi tata kelola SDA harus menekankan transparansi, partisipasi, dan akuntabilitas lintas sektor untuk mencegah korupsi dan memastikan keadilan ekologis serta kesejahteraan rakyat.

Este texto tiene como objetivo mapear históricamente los destinos del archivo personal de Astrojildo Pereira en la segunda mitad del siglo XX y el comienzo del siglo XXI. Este escritor, crítico y periodista brasileño acumuló una gran cantidad de documentos y libros relacionados con su activismo político y actividad literaria. El material no fue remitido a una institución de custodia segura ni tuvo un destino sencillo de trazar. Debido a la interferencia estatal y dificultades económicas familiares, se separó en varias partes. Sólo décadas más tarde, la colección podría consultarse dividida en cuatro partes en las tres instituciones públicas de educación superior del estado de San Pablo.

This study investigates the role of customary law in determining citizenship status in Indonesia, with a particular emphasis on how customary law interacts with the state legal system and how this impacts Indigenous communities. Indigenous communities often face administrative issues, such as the process of citizenship registration and access to public services, due to the misalignment between uniform state laws and traditional local customary laws. This study found the main issues faced by indigenous communities in Indonesia, such as legal uncertainty and social marginalization. This research aims to comprehensively study the influence of customary law on the determination of citizenship status in Indonesia and to compare it with experiences in other countries. The research method used is normative, doctrinal, or library research method. This study provides information on how to improve the integration between customary law and state law to create a citizenship system that is fairer and more inclusive for Indigenous communities. Reducing inequality and increasing the participation of indigenous communities in social and political life is expected through policy reforms that take into account the needs of indigenous peoples.

The aim of this research is to discuss the implementation of land acquisition for the public interest in terms of the construction of a public cemetery in Sipatana District and the mechanism for providing compensation. This research uses empirical legal methods, by presenting data based on field facts which are then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The research results show that there are problems in acquiring land as the location for the TPU in question. This is marked by the sale and purchase of land to the government by other parties, who are still the family of the land owner, Mr Yamin Tolinggi. What this means is that the seller of the land is not the actual owner but just a nephew who happens to live at that location. Apart from that, the actual owner demands payment from the land, which is then confirmed by evidence and ownership rights based on court decisions. Disposal of land is a last resort and must obtain approval from the party entitled to the land, however, the land release was in error, where the government incorrectly provided compensation or payment to parties who were not actually the owners of the land. The mechanism for providing compensation for land acquisition by the government for the construction of TPU in Sipatana District is carried out by the Gorontalo Province and Gorontalo City governments on land covering an area of 27,766 m2 or around 2.7 hectares. However, land acquisition payments made by both the provincial and Gorontalo city governments were given to those who were not actually entitled to them. The total compensation for land acquisition was IDR 3.5 billion, but the entire amount was given to other parties. Therefore, the real owner then sued over his approximately 7,186 meter land and won in court, and in the end the Gorontalo provincial government awarded compensation of Rp. 750 million (seven hundred and fifty million rupiah) to land owners, through the 2023 APBD budget.

Tanah ialah sumber kehidupan, identitas, dan keberlangsungan sosial; lebih dari arti umum sebagai aset ekonomi. Di Indonesia, pengelolaan agraria masih diwarnai ketimpangan struktural, konflik berkepanjangan, dan kebijakan yang sering kali mengesampingkan kepentingan rakyat kecil. The phenomenon of rural workers seeking employment in multiple locations is a well-established practice. Seasonal migration of agricultural workers occurs both intra-state as well as inter-state. There is now growing evidence that this search for employment for a part of the year extends beyond agriculture in rural areas to non-agriucltural work in urban settlements. This leads to what has been called as circular migration, or the phenomenon of workers working for a part of the year in urban settlements and returning to their rural base for the rest of the year. Much of the attention around circular migration has focused on the conditions prompting workers to seek employment outside their villages. A first-class ornamental, it offers a graceful habit, attractively mottled bark, soft yellow flowers, and-not least-fruits. One summer day as I happened upon and ate cornelian cherries from a tree in New /; York City's Central Park, ' I had to assure a concerned passerby that I was not experimenting with a possibly poisonous new food. Instead, I was partaking of a fruit that has been enjoyed by humankind for the past seven thousand years. At a site in northern Greece, early Neolithic peoples left remains of meals that included cornelian cherry along with einkorn wheat, barley, lentils, and peas. The present article analyzes two processes of the Directorate of Agriculture involving eighteenth century lands problems. Cases in which the writer Machado de Assis acted as a civil servant. Although it is not possible to infer Machado's conceptions of property from these processes, we argue that, given the nature of his position as head of the second section of the Directorate of Agriculture, he tended to agree tacitly or expressly with the opinions of his colleagues. We contextualize these processes with the nineteenth-century agrarian reality, elucidating to the reader the social reality internal and external to this division in Bruxo do Cosme Velho worked as an employee of the Ministry of Agriculture, Commerce and Public Works.

Peri-urban spaces are usually understood as transition areas, with both urban and rural characteristics, where different economic and social practices are developed, mainly linked to agricultural production. The notion of peri-urban spaces has been widely used in different sciences, such as Geography and Economics, referring to heterogeneous cultural landscapes in which activities typically assignable to both rural and urban environments are carried out. This concept was also applied in studies related to the rural history of the Río de la Plata area (Buenos Aires Province, Argentina) between the 18 th and 19 th centuries; however, it has not yet been used in studies on historical archaeology in Argentina, a research line that continues to classify archaeological sites in a dichotomous way by their association with urban or rural contexts. In this work, we propose an archaeological approach to the concept of peri-urban applied to the study sites related to the southern frontier of the Pampean and North Patagonia regions from the last 25 years of the 19 th century. In this frame, it is analyzed: 1) the process of construction of the landscape and the material record present in the site "Boliche Lucanera", a commercial establishment located at Bahía Blanca city (Buenos Aires Province), and 2) the settlement called "Pueblo Avellaneda" (Río Negro Province), founded in the framework of the military campaigns of territorial conquest carried out by the Argentine State against the original populations. Finally, both cases are compared and the relevance of the peri-urban concept for archaeological studies is discussed.

This article analyses a striking case of collective action under extreme precarity: Peru's 2020 agrarian strike, which successfully repealed a law that had undermined labour rights for two decades. Drawing on an ethnographic case study in Barrio Chino (Ica) and surveys, we examine how mobilization emerged in such an adverse context for collective action. The article makes two theoretical contributions. First, it spatializes the power resources approach (PRA), demonstrating that territory actively reconfigures the power resources available to workers. Second, it adapts the concept of 'community of struggle' to explain how shared experiences of life and work can structure effective organizing practices without formal affiliation. The analysis reveals a key tension: The organizational fluidity that enabled rapid and effective mobilization also hindered the consolidation of permanent structures. This finding challenges linear narratives about union power construction and illuminates the contradictions inherent in organizing under extreme precarity.

Este trabalho investiga os desafios e potencialidades na governança territorial da Região Metropolitana de Manaus (RMM), criada em 2007 e hoje integrada por 13 municípios no coração da Amazônia. Objetiva-se compreender de que modo esse arranjo político pode fortalecer a cooperação intergovernamental e a participação da sociedade civil, em especial de indígenas em cidades, em questões comuns, como saúde, habitação e transportes. Para tanto, adotou-se uma abordagem qualitativa, com análise documental e entrevista com representante de uma associação indígena. A fundamentação teórica apoia-se no conceito de governança territorial, destacando mecanismos democráticos e horizontais de deliberação. Os resultados evidenciam a importância da participação da Coordenação dos Povos Indígenas de Manaus e Entorno (COPIME), sobretudo na articulação com conselhos e órgãos públicos, reforçando a importância de soluções inclusivas e adaptadas às especificidades dos indígenas em cidades na Amazônia.

This research examines the significant potential of natural gas to drive economic growth in Nigeria, alongside the ongoing infrastructural and regulatory challenges that hinder its comprehensive utilisation. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the study evaluates data gathered from surveys, interviews, and focus groups in various Nigerian states, encompassing regions that are gas-producing, consuming, and underserved. The results indicate that access to natural gas significantly boosts household income and enhances the productivity of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), thus aiding in poverty alleviation and empowering women. Nevertheless, the advantages are not evenly distributed, with urban and semi-urban areas benefiting more from the available infrastructure. In contrast, rural and marginalised communities continue to be neglected due to the lack of efficient pipeline networks, last-mile delivery systems, and prohibitive initial costs. The research identifies specific policy and institutional challenges, including pricing inconsistencies and poor enforcement of regulations, that deter equitable investment and access. By shedding light on these disparities, this study provides actionable insights for policymakers to promote targeted infrastructure development, rural-focused subsidies, and comprehensive regulatory reforms. The research concludes that fully harnessing the potential of natural gas necessitates a comprehensive and inclusive strategy that transforms it from merely a source of national revenue into a driver for equitable, sustainable, and widespread economic growth throughout the country.

Penelitian ini menganalisis faktor penyebab gagalnya gerakan koalisi masyarakat sipil antikorupsi dalam menolak agenda revisi Undang-Undang Nomor 30 Tahun 2002 Tentang Komisi Pemberantasan Tindak Pidana Korupsi (UU KPK) pada tahun 2019. Penelitian ini menggabungkan teori gerakan sosial Dough McAdam (2004) yang terdiri dari tiga pendekatan yaitu pendekatan struktur kesempatan politik, teori mobilisasi sumber daya, teori proses pembingkaian dengan kerangka penjelasan faktor keberhasilan dan penghambat gerakan sosial dari David A. Locher (2002). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan sumber data primer dari wawancara dan pengolahan data sekunder. Penelitian ini menunjukkan gerakan sosial yang dilakukan oleh koalisi masyarakat sipil antikorupsi cukup sulit hingga pada akhirnya gerakan tersebut tidak berhasil mencapai tujuan gerakan, karena revisi UU KPK berhasil disahkan oleh DPR pada 17 September 2019. Faktor penyebab kegagalan gerakan koalisi masyarakat sipil antikorupsi diklasifikasi menjadi dua, yaitu faktor eksternal dan internal gerakan. Faktor eksternal yang diidentifikasi dari temuan riset ini sekaligus menjadi pembeda dari tahun-tahun sebelumnya bahwa struktur kesempatan politik memiliki kontribusi besar dalam kegagalan gerakan sosial yang dilakukan oleh koalisi hal tersebut diindikasikan melalui berbagai indikator yaitu baru bertemunya momentum kesepakatan antara DPR dengan Pemerintah; solidnya seluruh fraksi partai politik; DPR mempercepat proses legislasi; dan struktur politik yang menutup kesempatan gerakan. Sedangkan dari segi internal, diidentifikasi adanya permasalahan sumber daya; keterbelahan pendapat kelompok masyarakat; kelemahan dalam membantah framing; dan kurang dapat meyakinkan para pemangku kebijakan. Faktor eskternal merupakan yang dominan penyebab gagalnya gerakan koalisi masyarakat sipil antikorupsi menolak revisi UU KPK.

পশ্চিমবঙ্গের মানচিত্রে এক সময়ে জালের মতো ছড়িয়ে থাকা অগণিত নদ-নদীর মধ্যে ইছামতি একটি অনন্য নাম। এই নামটি শুনলেই মনের পর্দায় ভেসে ওঠে দু’টি দেশের সীমান্তের রোমাঞ্চ, ঐতিহাসিক নৌ-বাণিজ্যের জৌলুস, মিঠে জলের মাছের ভাণ্ডার এবং বঙ্গসংস্কৃতির অখণ্ড এক প্রবাহের ছবি। কিন্তু বর্তমান বাস্তবতা একেবারেই ভিন্ন, মর্মান্তিক এবং হতাশাজনক। আজ ইছামতি নদী তার অস্তিত্বের জন্য সংগ্রাম করছে। এটি এখন মৃতপ্রায়, একটি প্রাণহীন জলধারা, যার বুকে জমেছে কেবল কচুরিপানা, দূষিত কৃষি-নালার জল আর স্মৃতির আবর্জনা। এই নিবন্ধে আমরা ইছামতির গৌরবময় অতীত, তার বিলুপ্তির কারণ, তার ফলে সৃষ্ট সামাজিক ও সাংস্কৃতিক সংকট এবং এর পুনরুজ্জীবনের জন্য চলমান ও সম্ভাব্য উদ্যোগগুলি নিয়ে আলোচনা করব। ইছামতি নদীটিকে বর্তমান নদী গবেষকগণ তিনভাগে ভাগ করেন। উচ্চ ইছামতি, মধ্য ইছামতি এবং নিম্ন ইছামতি নামে। উচ্চ ইছামতি নদীটি পদ্মা নদীর একটি শাখানদী মাথাভাঙ্গা নদী থেকে প্রবাহিত হয় এবং বেনাপোল পর্যন্ত প্রবাহিত হয়। মধ্য ইছামতি নদী বেনাপোল থেকে দেবহাটা পর্যন্ত প্রবাহিত হয়। নিম্ন ইছামতি নদী পশ্চিমবঙ্গের সুন্দরবন এবং বাংলাদেশের সুন্দরবনের বুড়ি গোয়ালিনী রেঞ্জ পর্যন্ত প্রবাহিত হয়ে রায়মঙ্গল নদীতে পতিত হয়।
নদীটির উৎস হতে দেবহাটার পশ্চিম পর্যন্ত মোট দৈর্ঘ্য ২০৮ কিমি। প্রবাহ থেকে শেষ অংশ উত্তর ২৪ পরগণা জেলা‎র হাসনাবাদের কাছে এবং সাতক্ষীরা জেলার দেবহাটার কাছে কালিন্দী নদীর সাথে যুক্ত হয়।

Alla luce di una lettura della Statistica murattiana del 1811 come strumento critico per esplorare le pratiche alimentari, il volume analizza le relazioni tra cibo, mobilità e territorio nella Provincia di Molise. Integrando geografia e storia, evidenzia come il cibo non sia solo risorsa materiale ma costruzione socio-culturale, legata a dinamiche ecologiche, economiche e simboliche. La mobilità è interpretata come chiave per comprendere la formazione dei “territori del consumo”, intesi come spazi relazionali. L'uso dell’historical GIS consente di restituire configurazioni territoriali e flussi alimentari sotto traccia. La Provincia di Molise emerge come territorio articolato definito da una struttura reticolare segnata da adattamenti, permanenze e processi di circolazione.

Tujuan dalam transmigrasi ini untuk mengurangi kepadatan penduduk di tanah (jawa dan bali) dan Pemerataan untuk penduduk. Bantuan finansial awalnya program ini dibiayai oleh Bank Dunia dan donor internasional sebagai proyek Pembangunan selama bertahun tahun.

Actually, India is a land of villages and agriculture is the main occupation in rural areas. As we know, in the rural Indian environment, the issue of debt has long been seen as a problem rather than a sign of future success. This is primarily because rural household budgets, particularly those of small-holding farmers and all other farmers with low incomes, are no longer in deficit. A large number of studies on the issue of indebtedness in rural India have depicted the fact that in rural Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Punjab farmers commit suicide due to the burden of huge debts every year. Some of the major causes of India's agricultural debt include the country's unpredictable weather or uncertainty of monsoon, the weight of previous debt, the long lag between farming income and expenses, the small size of land holdings, wasteful spending on social ceremonies, and a high rate of illiteracy. It is a well-known fact that there will be a risky consequence if debt is simply used to cover household budget deficits rather than being employed for worthwhile endeavors. In recent years, the average cost of agricultural production has risen and market prices of farmers’ products are not more supportive. Moreover, initiatives taken by the government remain ineffective and beyond the truth. Here it is noteworthy to say that in the current scenario, both the borrower's and the lender's interests suffer because the amount of debt continues to rise over one's ability to repay it. As a result, the web of debts has become a harsh reality of the agriculture sector and farmers of rural India have to face a burden of debts in daily life. The NCRB data indicates that 2,96,438 farmers died due to suicide between 1995-2014 in different states of India. On the contrary, this data shows that a total of 11,290 farmers and agricultural labourers committed suicide in 2022 throughout India. The present research paper is a modest attempt to find out the causes and effects of agricultural debts in India.

Buku Seri Permukiman Kota “Produksi Ruang Sosial Perkotaan dalam Pasar Tradisional” membahas pasar tradisional sebagai bagian integral dari permukiman kota. Berangkat dari studi kasus di Kota Palembang, uraian dalam buku ini memperlihatkan bagaimana pasar tradisional tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai ruang transaksi ekonomi, tetapi juga sebagai ruang sosial, budaya, dan bahkan ruang identitas komunitas urban.

Dengan pendekatan multidisiplin, buku ini menyoroti keterkaitan antara pasar tradisional, perencanaan kota, dan struktur sosial masyarakat. Konsep-konsep akademik seperti teori strukturasi, hibriditas budaya, dan jejaring sosial digunakan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana pelaku—pemerintah, pedagang, masyarakat, hingga aktor informal—saling berinteraksi membentuk tatanan pasar. This paper recounts the history of how Venezuelan expertise in rural regional planning was developed during the 1960s in the context of the Venezuelan agrarian reform. It explains the role that Israeli technical cooperation, which introduced Raanan Weitz's ideas on rural development through regional planning, played in this process. This reform, promoted by the nascent Venezuelan democracy, aimed to eliminate the latifundia system inherited from the colonial era and redistribute land among poor peasants for economic and social emancipation. Venezuela's commitment to the reform was significant, and in 1961, it received additional backing from the U.S. government through the Alliance for Progress, a foreign aid programme launched to curb the communist threat in the region. By analyzing the case study of Las Majaguas, a large-scale irrigation scheme designed to resettle 2,200 peasant families, this article will demonstrate how architects and planners, along with many other professionals, helped translate political, geopolitical, and economic objectives into specific forms of regional rural planning and social control. This article therefore offers a critical perspective on the history of the modernization of rural areas in Venezuela and the role played by architects and urban planners in this process.

Tarım ve gıda üretimiyle ilgili süreklilik kazanmış feryat-figan halimiz var. "Tarımı bitirdiler, mercimek bile ithal …" Hemen ardından da: "Kendi kendine yeten bir ülkeydik, nerelere geldik…?" nakaratı. Ortada bir sorun var ama sorunun nedenleri pek tahmin edildiği gibi değil. Evet, politik kararlar ya da kararsızlıklar da etkili ama, mesele tam o da değil. Mesele epey karışık… "Karışık" derken, sorun çok tabakalı ve tüm tabakalar aralarında birbirleriyle acayip dinamik ilişkiler ağı ile bağlı. Dolayısıyla, derinlemesine bakış ve analiz olmadan, sadece sonuçlara bakarak konuşmak doğru değil. Yukarıda sözünü ettiğim tabakalar neler? Göç ve demografik değişimler bir tabaka; iklimsel değişimler bir tabaka; uluslararası gıda üretimi (arz) bir tabaka; değişen talep ve beslenme alışkanlıkları bir tabaka; endüstriyel tarım bir tabaka; ülkenin ve komşuların ekonomik durumları da bir tabaka; ülkenin doğal kaynaklarının kalitesi bir tabaka … Bak, daha "çiftçinin hali nicedir?" adlı tabakaya gelmedik. Devlet politikaları tabakasına da… Tüm bu karmaşa bir yana, Süleyman Demirel edasıyla söyleyecek olursak: Yerli mercimek bitti diye feryat eden vatandaş son derece haklıdır, mercimek bitmiştir… Mercimeği bitiren 1993 yılında Devlet'in baklagilleri desteklenen ürün kapsamından çıkartması kararı olmuştur, binaenaleyh o kararı alan hükümetin başı da Süleyman Demirel'dir. Mercimeği bırakalım da, şu verilere bir bakalım. Bir efsane balonunu patlatarak başlayalım, "Türkiye gıda temininde kendi kendine yeten bir ülkeydi." Doğru değil… Bu bir efsane. Yetmedik, yetmiyoruz, yetmeyiz … Bunu dile getirme cesaretini bulan ilk kişi (bildiğim kadarıyla da tek kişi) eski Tarım Bakanı Hüsnü Yusuf Gökalp oldu. Sonrakiler yine sustu. Esta tesis abarca el periodo cronologico de la guerra civil espanola analizando en estos tres anos la formacion y desarrollo de las colectivizaciones valencianas. En este punto se analizan tanto las colectivizaciones industriales como muy especialmente las agricolas y el consejo levantino unificado de exportacion de agrios. La polemica i els enfrontaments, lluny de desapareixer, traspassaren el final de la guerra i subsistiren a la clandestinitat durant el franquisme de la ma deIs seus dos principals protagonistes: la CNT i el Partit Comunista. In the article we provide the new design of pneumatic sowing machine with peripheral cells on the seed disk and a passive device for removing extra seeds with inertia method for precise seeding of cultivated crops. A series of studies was proposed for sugar beet seeds sowing device, we defined the influence of dilution in a vacuum chamber of sowing device and angular velocity cell seed disk on the cells filling factor. The design of the new pneumatic sowing machine can significantly reduce the vacuum in the system having increased the angular speed in cell seed disk to the values of seeding device travelling speed, thus provide a constant point of seeds drop from the seed disc at the same trajectory of their flight to the furrows and the qualitative cells filling. Obreras sin Fábrica es un proyecto feminista y autogestionado sobre las memorias y las materialidades de Ciudad Pegaso, una colonia obrera de la periferia madrileña construida en los años 50. En este texto, nuestro propósito es presentar el proyecto y mostrar su relación con la arqueología y la comunidad con/desde/en/para/sobre la que trabajamos. Para ello, primero reseñamos las siete décadas de historia del barrio, desde su construcción hasta la actualidad, incidiendo en sus materialidades (especialmente en los espacios y objetos cotidianos) y su relación con la fábrica Pegaso. A continuación, exploramos la importancia de las actividades de mantenimiento para el sostenimiento de la vida y la creación de vínculos en los primeros años de Ciudad Pegaso, un trabajo desempeñado por las mujeres que hemos podido registrar mediante entrevistas a nuestras vecinas mayores. Asimismo, exponemos nuestra labor durante los últimos años sobre patrimonio y memoria en el barrio, mostrando cómo conjugamos investigación, activismo y arte (como en el caso de un fotolibro o de la elaboración de un mural colaborativo). Por último, llevamos a cabo una reflexión sobre lo que implica para nosotras hacer arqueología “en casa”, como nietas de esas primeras vecinas que llegaron a Ciudad Pegaso hace ahora más de sesenta años.
