Oxy-fuel combustion is a process in which fuel is burned in a mixture of pure oxygen and recycled flue gas, rather than air. This method enhances combustion efficiency, reduces emissions of nitrogen oxides, and facilitates carbon capture by producing a concentrated stream of carbon dioxide.
