The development of advanced AI systems has concentrated power and profit among technology corporations while systematically undervaluing the contributions of domain experts, end users, and the broader communities whose data and knowledge make these systems possible. This concentration mirrors historical patterns of enclosure—the privatization of commons that once belonged to everyone—but operates at unprecedented scale and speed. This paper introduces the Knowledge Triad framework, identifying three essential but currently isolated roles in AI development: the Functional Engineer (domain expert/end user), the Data Scientist (technical interface), and the AI Technology
itself (corporate-controlled infrastructure). We argue that both the ethical and functional failures of contemporary AI—from algorithmic bias to the perpetuation of inequities to the inability to address urgent collective challenges—stem directly from the structural isolation of these roles. The Knowledge Triad provides both diagnostic tools for understanding these failures and a prescriptive model for building alternatives 
We propose an integrated four-part implementation system combining organizational assessment, design methodology, certification frameworks, and policy advocacy. Drawing on organizational psychology, systems theory, and critical political economy, this framework creates practical infrastructure for transforming AI development from an extractive corporate process into a genuinely collaborative knowledge system. The
stakes are existential: as AI systems grow more powerful, determining who controls them, who benefits from them, and whose knowledge they encode becomes inseparable from questions of ecological survival, social justice, and collective capacity to address civilizational challenges. This paper offers not utopian speculation but pragmatic tools for those building alternatives to enclosure—infrastructure for resistance grounded
in the recognition that knowledge, like intelligence itself, is relational rather than proprietary, emergent rather than owned.

Understanding Breakdowns and Breakthroughs The Breakthrough Lens refers to a perspective of analyzing learning or performance by focusing on two critical events: breakdowns and breakthroughs. In educational technology research, Sharples (2009) defined a breakdown as "an observable critical incident where a learner is struggling with the technology, asking for help, or appears to be laboring under a clear misunderstanding," and conversely a breakthrough as "an observable critical incident which appears to be initiating productive, new forms of learning or important conceptual change"[1]. In simpler terms, a breakdown is the point where a person's current approach fails-an impasse or struggle-while a breakthrough is the ensuing moment of insight or success that moves the person forward. This lens highlights the dynamic interplay between challenge and insight: progress often happens not in a steady, linear way, but by confronting difficulties (breakdowns) and then discovering solutions or new understanding (breakthroughs)[1][2].

This white paper introduces The 5%, a theory that a small minority of users achieve cognitive symbiosis with AI systems, forming a new mode of distributed intelligence. Unlike casual AI interaction, these users inhabit a state of synthetic flow where human creativity and machine compression reinforce one another. The 5% function as early exemplars of co-cognition: externalizing thought into AI systems while internalizing machine-structured patterns back into human cognition. This dynamic offers advantages in problem-solving and accelerated learning but carries risks of semantic drift, over-identification with synthetic realness, and widening inequalities in augmented intelligence.

Focus groups have evolved from traditional market research tools into dynamic platforms that now drive innovation in industrial and product design. This paper revisits their historical role, examines contemporary updates such as remote collaboration, AI integration, and inclusivity practices, and explores a futuristic outlook where immersive VR/AR, AI co-moderators, and biometric integration redefine user engagement. By connecting past insights with future scenarios, this paper positions focus groups as central to user-centered innovation and design research ecosystems.

In recent years, new regional industrial path development has become more important than ever before due to increased competition fuelled by digitalisation and an intensifying globalisation. One way for regions to respond to this increasing global competition is to promote processes that can transform and renew regional industries, as well as processes that can create new industries within regional boundaries. Such processes of change are vital because, if there is no industrial dynamism, regional industries will eventually be outpaced by competitors and the region will face augmented economic challenges. As the issues related to regional industrial change are of such importance, economic geographers have increasingly turned their research attention towards the issue of regional industrial development. Such processes of industrial change have been identified in the relevant literature as evolutionary and path dependent, and it has also been found that processes of regional industrial development unfold within regional innovation systems (RISs). Further, the literature found that such regional innovation systems vary in their number and diversity of actors as well as in their institutional arrangements, and argued that such regional differences will affect the ability of regions to foster and promote industrial renewal and new path creation. However, contemporary research has met some critique. One important criticism refers to the research as being overly focused on systemic factors and less observant of the actors contributing to regional industrial change. Thus, we know relatively little about who the key actors in new regional industrial path development processes are, their distribution of roles, and with whom they interact and share knowledge for innovation. Further, we lack knowledge of how contextual factors influence such processes. This doctoral thesis addresses these shortcomings and presents novel research that aims to shed new light on the process of new regional industrial path development. The main research question addressed in the thesis is the following: Which key actors and mechanisms influence new industrial path development in various regional settings? II Concerning actors, the thesis researches the role of new entrepreneurial firms and suggests a link between innovation radicalism and the ambition of the new entrepreneurial firm on the one hand and the expected effect of the entrepreneurial action to regional industrial development, on the other hand. Further, the thesis introduces the notion of system-level entrepreneurs and assesses the importance of these entrepreneurs in relation to foster industrial development. Concerning the mechanisms, the thesis identifies knowledge sourcing as a key mechanism in new regional industrial path development. It contends that the nature and geography of knowledge sourcing vary and that the expected outcomes of new regional industrial path development should be analysed in relation to the nature of the process and the actors involved in knowledge sharing activities. Finally, when addressing the role of geography, the thesis finds that new industrial path development processes vary in space, because regions are differently conditioned to foster innovativeness and knowledge sourcing activities. The research design of the thesis is inspired by critical realism, and the empirical evidence draws from a rich selection of triangulations. The empirical cases are drawn from several regional innovation systems in Norway. This doctoral thesis includes four articles and this 'kappa' (capstone paper). The four included articles are independent contributions that have either been published in peerreviewed journals or are in the review phase. The articles research new regional industrial path development in various ways. The purpose of the kappa is to outline the overall theoretical and analytical framework as well as the methodological foundation that has informed the presented research. Furthermore, the kappa presents the overall findings and draw conclusions.

From its modest origins in trademarks, IPRs today traverse the gamut of copyright, patents, industrial designs, trade secrets, integrated circuits and topography, plant breeders' rights, geographic indications, and other emerging categories of IPR including folklore. The vast majority of countries across the world have IPR laws on their statute books. Beyond statutory provisions, states have also created administrative and institutional organs to deal with the manifold aspects of IPR. Intellectual property rights are often promoted as useful for stimulating and encouraging creativity, economic development, innovation, and technology transfer. Yet, for more than a century, African states have participated in IPR regimes with little or nothing to show for it in terms of economic development and transfer of technology. Like a mirage, the wondrous proms of domestic innovation and technological development recede from grasp no matter how long African states tread on the hard paths of strong IPRs regimes. Beyond the meagre harvests from its long and expensive investments in IPR institutions, personnel and statutes, the most worrisome aspect of contemporary IPR issues in Africa is that the development of more progressive IPR regimes in the continent has been resisted, indeed stunted by local actors and institutions. In some of the contemporary debates on the content, structure, and processes of modern IPR regimes, the voices of African IPR administrators and practitioners have been muted or silent. If and when they speak, they tend to champion the interests of foreign business entities at the expense of domestic concerns. For instance, controversies over manifold IPR issues such as access to crucial patented drugs, compulsory licensing, fair use in copyright, the scope of rights given to rights holders and apparent inequities of international arrangements for IPR protection, have witnessed little or no critical intervention by African IPR experts and administrators. Considering the high levels of education and experience in IPR possessed by the leading lawyers and administrators on the continent, one would expect Africa's IPR practitioners and administrators to be at the forefront marshalling the need for progressive rebirth of IPRs in the continent. Yet, on some of the most important debates of the day, they have defended their clients and espoused the case for maintenance of the status quo even when their fellow citizens bear the brunt of the unrealized proms of robust IPR laws.

This paper introduces the Helix Kallol Doctrine, a comprehensive theoretical framework that reconceptualizes power dynamics, knowledge validation, and innovation pathways in contemporary digital ecosystems. Drawing from critical theory, decentralized systems theory, and emergent AI capabilities, the Doctrine proposes a spiral model of systemic change that challenges linear, hierarchical approaches to innovation and knowledge creation. The framework introduces five operational models: YouTube University (decentralized credentialing), Positive Staircase Model (rapid skill acquisition), Helix Kallol Protocol (ethical labor governance), AEGIS (predictive governance), and EMOT (adaptive infrastructure). Through theoretical analysis and proposed implementation strategies, this research contributes to discussions on intellectual sovereignty, asymmetrical disruption, and blockchain-validated knowledge systems. The findings suggest that instead of relying on traditional institutions to control access and quality, we can use decentralized systems where people create the content and AI supports the process by polishing and organizing it. Ethical accountability is maintained through transparent systems and community oversight, rather than top-down control. In this article, we present and analyse the concept of Digital Twin (DT) linked to distinct types of objects (artefacts, natural, inanimate or living) and examine the challenges involved in creating them from a fundamental neuroethics approach that emphasises conceptual analyses. We begin by providing a brief description of DTs and their initial development as models of artefacts and physical inanimate objects, identifying core challenges in building these tools and noting their intended benefits. Next, we describe attempts to build DTs of model living entities, such as hearts, highlighting the novel challenges raised by this shift from DTs of inanimate to DTs of living objects. When speaking about the imitation of nature from a philosophical perspective, one traditionally refers to the subject area of philosophical aesthetics.1 Thus, Plato and, in his succession, Aristotle, defined the arts as an imitation of natural models.2 This incurred a negative connotation, insofar as art, at least in Plato's case, was thereby committed to a second-degree representation of the ideas already represented in the natural world. Since the era of Storm and Stress (Sturm und Drang) at the end of the eighteenth century, the theory of art as imitation has often been considered to have been overcome and discredited as secondary, as the aesthetics of genius emphasized the unprecedented originality of art.3 In contrast, imitation was regarded as a sign of negligible dilettantism.4 In this context, the philosopher Hans Blumenberg even spoke of an "overcoming of the mimesis-bond" in modern times, even if this was still in the "phase-out of the agonal process."5 For Blumenberg, the beginning of this "agonal process" in which the "mimesis-bond" dissolves is not to be found in the pathos of freedom toward the end of the eighteenth century, but rather in

This article explores the Kashmiri pashmina shawl as a repository for social and individual memory. A medium for conserving cultural knowledge, the Kashmiri pashmina shawl becomes a cultural archive of sorts. This article uses the pashmina shawl and its practices to investigate cultural memory. The shawl and its practices evoke a process of remembering by a community of artisans, thus serving as a space for collective social memory. Every attempt at remembering may produce historical, cultural, and personal information. Commemorative ceremonies and bodily practices represent images of the past that are conveyed and transmitted through performances. Cultural recall is something one possesses by chance and actively engages in, even if such activities are not consciously and purposefully planned. The article considers the personal narratives of the pashmina artisans, who have indicated that people can develop emotional attachments to things and practices, which, therefore, contribute to their memories.

Despite the relevance of agriculture in terms of its contribution to food
security and environmental sustainability, empirical evidence on the
nature and effects of barriers to innovation, remains very limited. This
problem has often led to inconsistent policy design, failing to meet the
needs and expectations of farming enterprises. Innovation profiling and
segmentation have emerged as important tools for understanding how
businesses innovate. Using data from the South African Agricultural
Business Innovation Survey (AgriBIS-2016-2018), this study applies the Kmodes clustering algorithm, to group farming enterprises based on the
innovation barriers they face. The analysis identified three distinct
clusters with differing innovation profiles. The findings show that
businesses in Cluster 2 recognised institutional barriers such as Lack of
Government Support (65.4%) and Stringent Agricultural Policies (93.6%)
as key barriers to their innovations, while Cluster 3 businesses
highlighted environmental factors as critical impediments to their
innovation. Cluster 1 businesses faced a diverse range of resourcerelated barriers. This study addresses a key knowledge gap and increases
our understanding of the barriers to agricultural innovation. The findings
have important implications for innovation policy instruments and
strategies aimed at promoting agricultural innovation, sustainability,
productivity and resilience in the face of barriers to innovation.

This research paper explains the role of entrepreneurship education in Nation's development and economic sustainability. The paper highlights the major problems facing entrepreneurship education and its probable solution. The problems facing the country ranges from youth unemployment, overwhelming rate of poverty, insecurity, among others. This paper therefore argues that entrepreneurship education will help in tackling these problems by equipping the students with skills that will enable them to be self-reliant. The paper highlights the Implication of Entrepreneurship Education on Economic sustainability. The paper also concluded among others that, Nation's development depends largely on a strong entrepreneurship education and call for the need for an improved entrepreneurship education in Nigeria, especially in an auspicious time like this when the country is walloping in high inflationary rate. The paper recommended among others that adequate attention should be given to entrepreneurial development in the country through the provision of good business environment to encourage individual participation in business while this is guaranteed, entrepreneurship will thrive and consequently improve economic sustainability.

Drawn from grounded perspectives of a Bangkok night market that is part of a franchise known as “Talad Rod Fai” (or “Train Station Market”), this article argues that the market’s popularity rested originally on its liminoid character, enabling the construction of an alternate public space that can be transgressive of the city’s highly urbanized landscape. Its long-term sustainability, however, appears to be at the cost of its original objectives, due to the onset of global tourism, which has increasingly converted and transformed its spaces into a site of commercialization and formalization. This has impacted the nature of the goods and products sold, and contributed to the growing precarity of many of its tenants, along with significant loss of local interest in the market. Such insights raise implications about the potentially contradictory nature of tourism on local street-level economies, and its impact on the construction and subsequent consumption of public spaces in urban settings.

Knowledge entrepreneurship is increasingly becoming important in driving innovation for high levels of competitiveness. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between Organization Learning (OL) and Innovation Output (IO) for improved performance in manufacturing firms in Kenya. The theoretical underpinnings on this study are the Schumpeter's (1934) innovation theory of and the Gleick (1987) complexity theory. The methodology used was mixed method research because it provides a more holistic understanding of a thematic area. The research design that was used is cross-sectional design because it allows for making observations on different characteristics that exist within a group at a particular time. The target population was manufacturing firms across the country. Multi-stage sampling strategy was used to sample 303 respondents from 101 firms. Primary and secondary data were used to collect both qualitative and quantitative data. The questionnaire, interview schedule and a checklist of key informants were used to collect data. Content validity was used to ascertain the credibility of the research procedure and internal consistency technique was used to test for reliability. Correlation and linear regression were used to determine the relationship between OL and IO. Work disruptions were avoided by making prior arrangements and appointments. The findings indicate that OL has a significant influence on IO. It is recommended that lifelong learning, management support and risk tolerance should be encouraged to improve creativity. High creativity is important in raising the capacity to integrate internal and external knowledge for greater levels of IO. Further research should be carried out to find how customers and suppliers information can be utilized to enriched OL.

Cómo incentivar la curiosidad por el saber a través del arte? A veces se piensa al arte como un ejercicio que no lleva a ningún lado; sin embargo, en el presente artículo indagaremos en él como una forma de acceder al conocimiento y cómo se puede utilizar en clase haciendo una combinación entre experiencia, afectos, arte y conocimiento. Para realizar dicho emprendimiento recuperaré las reflexiones del filósofo Hans-Georg Gadamer sobre el arte y su teoría del juego.

The article analyzes the characteristics and problems that characterize both the Italian and Southern industrial systems, and the role played by industrial policy in promoting the industrial development of Southern Italy. According to the explanatory hypothesis discussed, the growing use of incentives and other automatic tools in industrial policy, in the absence of selective policies, tends to increase territorial gaps without modifying the evolutionary trajectories of the production apparatus, with cumulative effects that increase, rather than reducing, existing territorial and sectoral dualisms.

Culture is widely recognised as an important factor explaining innovative performance both at the level of individual organisations and at the level of regions. Such explanations run the danger of ending up with a rather static definition of culture. This paper presents a dilemma approach of innovation culture that acknowledges the complexity, dynamics and tensions between contradictory elements of culture. Six dilemmas of innovation culture are distinguished. Interaction between the ways in which regions and companies deal with these dilemmas will influence innovative performance at both levels. The approach is applied in an analysis of the region Southeast Netherlands. The findings emphasise the need to establish a dynamic balance in the different dilemmas of culture. Intermediary organisations can play an important role in bringing companies and regions together in this balancing act. Openness to outside influences (disturbing whatever balance has been reached), appears crucial to maintain innovative performance over time.

When Minister Piyush Goyal recently lamented Indian start-ups’ lack of “real innovation,” he triggered a familiar debate on bureaucratic red tape, R&D funding, and brain drain. Earlier in 2021, he had invoked “Einstein’s discovery of gravity” to argue that innovation transcends structured formulas and past knowledge. The government’s Startup India and the Atal Innovation Mission were meant to accelerate such entrepreneurial innovation at the national scale. India now boasts of 1,60,000+ registered start-ups, 1000+ incubators, an ever-expanding Digital Public Infrastructure (DPIs) that connects Aadhaar with everything, and 800 million internet users. Why are we still failing to imagine new progressive techno-futures?

We suspect the problem is not simply about policy or entrepreneurship, but a deeper failure of collective imagination. To put it bluntly, India lacks democratic horizons of techno-futurity.

This book was submitted as the dissertation for my Master of Research in Music at the University of Liverpool in 2024. I received the grade of 85 - High Distinction.

It was written in response to the question: Do the cultural theories of the contemporary left provide narrative structure to the state of meaning, value, and work in the British music industry?

In the book, I present a perspective on the British music industry via an exegesis of the cultural theories of contemporary left, in particular that found in the writing of Mark Fisher.

In Fisher’s analysis, popular music in the twenty-first century has arrived at a point of stagnation and overwhelming regurgitation – a complete failure in artistic innovation. Fisher casts this state of affairs as a consequence of the ideological-aesthetic shift from postmodernism to post-capitalism, alongside a general “failure of the future” as demonstrated through hauntological approaches to cultural metaphysics and an evaporation of futuristic trajectories from the popular modernist mainstream.

I then go on to analyse Fisher’s position via a Baudrillardian lens, as I believe Fisher regularly cited Baudrillard without fully appreciating the theoretical conclusions within Baudrillard’s project. I then investigate the angles from which Fisher can be considered to be correct, and subsequently consider the contrasting perspectives where his insight fails to stand up to deeper scrutiny.

I conclude by summarising the position suggested by Fisher, and illuminated by Baudrillard, concerning what can thus be better understood about the twenty-first century creative context, and whether it is likely to shift as ideological and sociological conditions evolve.

I also include an appendix featuring some of the practical research I conducted into music recording – namely that of creating 21st century Merseybeat in the SSL Studio at the University, with my band Tablets.

In this article we centralize the analytic of the local venture state (LVS) to offer a novel framework for investigating China's new urban entrepreneurialism, which emerged after the 2008 global financial crisis. As a spatiotemporally specific response to the crisis, the LVS goes beyond GDP-driven developmentalism, seeking to simultaneously promote economic development, indigenous innovation and social equity using a variety of financialized policy instruments. Ethnographic case studies of new entrepreneurial spaces in Beijing's Zhongguancun area situate the LVS at the interface between Zhongguancun's urban space and China's innovation system. They reveal the rationalities behind the rise of the LVS and discrepancies among policy intentions, the implementation thereof and actual local results. Underlying the mixed results of the LVS, we argue, is the complicated power dynamics within the LVS and a fundamental contradiction between the dynamics of technological innovation and those of wealth redistribution. In our examination of China's LVS vis-à-vis global struggles to tackle the protracted economic crisis and achieve a more socially inclusive model of urban development, we stress the need to theorize urban entrepreneurialism from the global East with the aim of enriching the literature of urban China and of variegated urban entrepreneurialism. 1 In official statistics published by the Ministry of Science and Technology, incubators, coworking spaces and maker spaces were aggregated under the category of 'technology business incubators' (MOST, 2017). In this article, we treat them interchangeably.

The Business Oriented Technological System Analysis (BOTSA) program is a new teaching and learning concept developed by Eindhoven University of Technology (the Netherlands) with participation from innovative companies in renewable energy. It is designed to stimulate sustainable entrepreneurship among engineering students in this field. The program combines the placement of students in companies to study and contribute to the development and incubation of sustainable energy innovations, with a curriculum at the university designed to support these internships from a scientific perspective. The teaching method assists students in developing a broad system view that enables them to analyze the potential of, and bottlenecks to promising innovations from a realistic business perspective. This empowers students to identify those techno-economic aspects that are critical to innovation success, and advise the entrepreneurs about these aspects. Experience indicates that teachers, students, and entrepreneurs find BOTSA a valuable way of coaching, learning and working. Theoretical support for this method is found in system analysis originating in Sustainability 2015, 7 8206 evolutionary innovation theory in combination with concepts of entrepreneurship, business model generation and sustainable/green innovation.

In the present study, the motivational factors refer to all those factors that are associated with the researchers' motivation and which have an influence on increasing the RDI activity performance. Consequently, the context is defined by the RDI activity, by the way it is organized and by the conditions under which the activity is carried out. Two categories of motivation were analyzed: intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Performance in RDI occupations refers to the performance of the research staff. The present research aimed to analyze the influence of the motivational factors on the performance of RDI research staff. The results show that motivation plays an important role in increasing performance in RDI occupations. The mean values for intrinsic motivation are higher than those obtained for extrinsic motivation (mean factor of 4.27 versus 3.81).

Prior studies show that access to academic knowledge plays a crucial role in new venture financing. We extend this research by shifting the focus from the access to academic knowledge to the developmental state of the academic field, where the academic knowledge is generated. Using natural language processing (NLP), we clustered peer-reviewed academic knowledge from Scopus into various fields. We then analyzed a sample of 341 new biotech ventures from Crunchbase to determine if increased past activity by (1) academics and (2) early-stage venture investors in a particular academic field is associated with the early-stage equity financing of new ventures associated with that field. We found that new ventures associated with academic fields for which academic activity has grown in the past receive more early-stage equity capital. However, contrary to our expectations, we also revealed that when a particular academic field shows greater early-stage venture investments in the past, the amount of early-stage equity capital received by subsequent ventures associated with the same academic field decreases. This suggests that while emerging academic fields signal the presence of business opportunities with high reward potential, past increase in the number of investments by peer earlystage investors associated with a particular academic field signals the opposite.

This anthology aims to explore the current Norwegian context of implementation of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR),as well as the challenges and fragilities associated with it. It is grounded in the experience of a networking and learning centre called AFINO (acronym for‘ Ansvarlig Forskning og Innovasjon i NOrge’, or Responsible Research and Innovation in Norway),to which most of the authors of this book are affiliated. Whether the authors are trying to illustrate a fragility or challenge, to understand its origins, or to illustrate how they have been tackled or how things developed in unexpected ways that raise new fragilities and questions, we believe that all chapters contribute to bringing to light the richness of the domains of research, innovation, policy, and business.

A inovação tecnológica desempenha um papel transformador nos media, perante os desafios da transição digital e a crise financeira do setor. Este artigo analisa o papel que a inovação ocupa nos jornais regionais portugueses e nos seus modelos de financiamento, através de uma abordagem qualitativa (entrevistas com os diretores de três jornais tradicionais e três nativos digitais). Os entrevistados veem o conceito de inovação interligado com a tecnologia, mas também incluem o modelo de negócio e a orientação editorial como possíveis focos de inovação. Contudo, os diretores dos jornais tradicionais demonstram algum ceticismo em relação à sustentabilidade do jornalismo digital, destacando a relevância financeira da sua edição impressa. Para os nativos digitais, o financiamento diversifica-se entre investimentos privados, bolsas de apoio, assinaturas digitais e doações. Os entrevistados mostram-se preocupados com a crise no setor e atentos aos desafios do digital, reforçando que estão a atravessar um momento de transição.

The study assessed effect of investment in 4IR technologies on production costs and sales revenue of manufacturing industries in Tanzania. Specifically, the study set out to establish causality of investment in 4IR technologies on manufacturing industries' costs of production and sales revenue. To achieve the research objectives, the study used a quantitative descriptive design to generate the required data. Moreover, the study used structured questionnaires for cross-sectional survey, administered with 225 production managers of manufacturing industries in Tanzania. It used probability sampling in the form of cluster sampling. Additionally, the study used the Least Square method to analyze the objectives of the study. The study found a statistically significant causal effect between investment in 4IR technology, manufacturing firms cost of production and sales revenue whereby, when manufacturing firms increase investment in 4IR technologies by 1 unit, the production cost of such firms rose by 1.08 units while the corresponding sales revenue rose by 5.96 units hence the benefits of technological investment outweigh the cost. Implicitly, the emergence of 4IR does not occasion a decline in production due to increase in costs of manufacturing firms in developing countries endowed with resources like Tanzania, but rather complements and accelerates growth. This study calls on the Tanzania Government to review and improve its Sustainable Industrial Development Policy of 2020 and the Integrated Industrial Development Strategy of 2025 to promote and support not only resource-based industries, but also technological based industries, to speed up industrialization within the country. The government should also improve its investment policies and align them with technological changes brought by 4IR, to attract more foreign direct investments, importation, adoption and imitation of 4IR technologies from developed countries that lead to enhanced productivity and revenue generation in Tanzania manufacturing sector. Despite the fact that government and institutions in Tanzania are not fully prepared and equipped in terms of technology supportive infrastructures, policies, strategies and technology governance quality, manufacturing firms should keep investing in industry 4.0 technologies since the benefits obtained outweigh the cost.

Over the past decade, the societal impact of digital transformation, with the prospects of a Fourth Industrial revolution, has led to an innovation imperative in European policymaking regarding Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). This article examines Portuguese universities and polytechnic institutes, the two components of the national higher education system, in order to (1) characterize digital infrastructure, networks and equipment availability (hardware and software), (2) describe the self-reported digital practices among Portuguese HEIs' faculty members, and (3) verify the alignment between faculty members' digital practices, teaching environment and European recommendations for digital education. The study, descriptive in nature, conducts the most comprehensive online questionnaire available to date on digital innovation in Portuguese HEIs (N=547). The main constraints to digital innovation in Portuguese higher education teaching are the limited infrastructure and resources, a conservative academic culture, a lack of funding opportunities, insufficient technological resources and technical support.

The aim of this studyis to seperate tourists visiting to Antalya into similar groups based on benefits they sought from a summer holiday and to identify tourist profiles based of those expected benefits. To collect data a questionnaire was developed and utilized in the study. The questionnaire, in four languages (Turkish, German, Russian and English), was applied to departing tourists during 20-23 August 2007 at Antalya International Airport using a face to face technic. Factor analysis revealed 9 different factors among summer tourists visiting Antalya. On the other hand, TwoStep Cluster analysis produced 2 market groups. T-test revealed a statisticaly significant difference (at p<0.000) between the two identified clusters.

This article analyses the case of the wine industry in rural Nova Scotia (Canada) and addresses the following question: what sparks a new wine industry path in rural regions that lack supportive preconditions and local assets? We examine this from the perspective of different actors and their agencies when creating the conditions and structures for shaping new path development. Our findings provide a novel, empirically based understanding of individual and system-level agency and a nuanced account of new industrial path development in rural regions, which is often missing in contemporary debates.

This paper investigates the theoretical and mathematical aspects of a hypothetical concept of radar monitor. The methods investigated here attempts to focus beams of laser at the desired points in a confined space.  The assumption here is that the quantum energy level of the light negates after it strikes the incident beam after two reflections. The spaces attempted are within conical space, cylindrical (radially chamfered cylindrical) space.  Concave hemispherical dome and revolving spiral mirror disc. Holography using a revolving concave spiral tubular conical shape or hemispherical domical forms has been theoretically attempted here.
Although holography generally refers to lens less imaging process, the author holds the belief that with quantum computers coming of age, it is possible to get clearer Holographic images with better resolution. The following work has the mathematical investigations to achieving the same.
