The knowledge drama presented in volumes 2 and 3 described the transformation of the threefold human constitution and the construction of the threefold bridge of spiritual memory and continuity of consciousness. This is done in ‘seeing the Grail’, that is, in the light of the meeting with the etheric Christ, the archetype of man. The creative part, described in this volume, shows how man becomes a builder of the future temple of humanity, the earthly-human Sun. The creative part applies the forces obtained in the knowledge drama in the spiritualization of the human microcosm, created in the past out of the forces of the old, dying macrocosm, to form the seed of the new macrocosm, the Sun becoming, Christed earth, built in the future image of Christed man.
      Therefore, the creative part of the knowledge drama must be understood as a seed of a work in progress, which will continue until the end of the evolution of the earth and indeed until the end of the development of our solar system on Vulcan. It is an essential part of the practical creative spiritual activity, required in the present age of Michael. An important secret of the formation of the earthly-human Sun is that the planetary heart organ that connects the new Earth and Heaven, is formed through the new forces of karma, created in the healed, Christ permeated, human meeting. This is an essential part of the formation of the new Michaelic community. That this is possible today is due to the fact that since the end of last century, the etheric Christ has assumed his role as the new lord of karma. And the new human meeting and community, the formative heart organ of the earthly-human Sun, are formed through the inspiration of his new role.

This Easter, 2025, I would like to explore with you something of the inner alchemy that lies at the heart of the Easter Thought. To do so, we will examine two aspects of Easter that stand like two pillars between which we must pass to enter the temple of wisdom found in the Easter Thought: the renewing, resurrecting WARMTH and the revealing LIGHT that can be kindled, especially at this time of year. In the depths of cyberspace, where encrypted vaults conceal secrets of nations and hidden networks thrive beyond the reach of ordinary minds, a digital Rosicrucian Temple exists—unseen, undetected, except by those destined to find it.

Zen Christian Hermeticism: A Path for Our Time I. Introduction: Addressing the Spiritual Crisis of Our Age  Many feel unmoored, disconnected, and adrift in a world that no longer provides deep, sustaining meaning. This crisis has been described in different ways-John Vervaeke calls it the "meaning crisis," others recognize it as the failure of modern religious institutions to provide transformative spiritual experience. Zen Christian Hermeticism emerges as a response to this crisis-not as a new sect or ideological movement, but as an open-ended framework for spiritual practice. It is a way of rediscovering Christianity's inner depth and marrying it with the contemplative and initiatic wisdom of both Western and Eastern traditions. The time for secrecy has passed; now is the time for synthesis, integration, and practice.

This extremely rare manuscript/ book of old (1655) is attributed to Eugenius Philalethes (the pseudonym of Thomas Vaughan), is a highly esoteric work of alchemical and mystical philosophy. Written in Vaughan’s characteristic poetic and cryptic style, the treatise explores the concept of a "secret fountain"—a divine and alchemical source of wisdom symbolized by a water that paradoxically "flows from fire" and carries the celestial influences of the Sun and Moon. This work, deeply influenced by Hermeticism, Paracelsianism, and Rosicrucian thought, presents an allegorical discourse on spiritual regeneration, the transmutation of the soul, and the search for hidden knowledge.

Vaughan’s text can be divided into several thematic sections. The Preface to the Reader establishes the purpose of the book, urging the seeker to pursue divine wisdom beyond superficial appearances. The first major section, The Secret Fountain and Its Origins, introduces the mysterious concept of fire-born water, drawing on alchemical principles where fire acts as both a destructive and generative force. The following discussion, Celestial Influences: The Sun and Moon in the Work, highlights the interplay of lunar and solar forces in the great work of transformation, echoing Paracelsian and Kabbalistic cosmologies.

The heart of the book lies in The Fire-Water Paradox, which elaborates on the seeming contradiction of water emerging from fire. This section engages deeply with Hermetic axioms, suggesting that opposites—fire and water, light and dark—must be reconciled in the process of true spiritual and alchemical refinement. Vaughan then extends this discussion in The Euphrates as a Symbol of Hidden Knowledge, where the titular river serves as a metaphor for divine wisdom, referencing biblical and mystical traditions, particularly its presence in Eden and its esoteric significance in sacred geography.

The penultimate section, The Regeneration of Man and the World, turns from theory to application, exploring how the knowledge of the "waters of the East" can lead to personal and cosmic renewal. This aligns closely with the Rosicrucian and Christian mystical idea of spiritual rebirth, where the adept undergoes an inner transformation akin to the alchemical Magnum Opus. Published by Humphrey Moseley, a bookseller known for disseminating philosophical and mystical works, Euphrates reflects the intellectual and spiritual currents of the 17th century, particularly the intersection of alchemy, Christian mysticism, and Rosicrucian ideals. The text’s rich symbolism and intricate prose make it a challenging yet invaluable work for scholars of early modern esotericism. The article is dedicated to the problem of the changes of the theology of the Sun cult during the Amarna period and the relation between the image of the king and the Sun-disc. An explanation is offered about the correlarion between the name of Akhenaten and its meaning and the iconography of Aten lowering his rays-hands toward the king. Akh is called a transformed condition of the son when the Divine father embraces him. The new name of the king and the iconography of his relation with his God are closely linked.

The antiscion of a planet (or star) is usually defined as the degree equidistant to that planet on the opposite side of the Cancer-Capricorn axis in the natal chart. For example, the antiscion of 25° Gemini is located at 5° Cancer, or that of 21° Pisces at 9°of Libra. Planets in these degrees are considered to be connected to each other. These configurations, when present between two planets at the time of a person's birth, have significant effects very similar to those of an aspect. Careful observation shows that even antiscia between a planet and a star, and even those between two stars, have significant astrological effects. In World Astrology they are often decisive in explaining the various events of history in the light of the fixed stars. In fact, important events usually take place when an antiscion between two stars is perfected. The same is true when two stars perfect an equidistance based on their right ascension (and not on their longitude) from the solstitial or equinoctial colure. It's useful to use Stellarium to identify these configurations, of which we will now give some examples. The right ascension of the solstitial colure is 6h or 18h, while that of the equinoctial colure is 0h or 12h. In an era where many find themselves spiritually unmoored, drawn to practices outside traditional Christianity, there is an urgent need to reclaim and revitalize the contemplative depths of our tradition. Many Christians are yearning for spiritual growth and meaning through practices like meditation and yoga, while others seek entirely new paths. This ministry seeks to restore and elevate Christian mystical practice in a way that offers meaning, depth, and inner renewal, inviting people back to the church with new tools for their journey.

Many of us who have embarked on initiatic rites and esoteric paths seek a deeper, inner journey—a process that opens the soul to transformative truth. Yet in recent years, we have observed that the Western Church often lacks resources to guide sincere seekers through a structured spiritual ascent. We are reaching out to you, seasoned travelers in initiatic rites, to assist in the creation and development of an initiatic journey rooted in Christian wisdom.

At the heart of this work is a unique approach based on Valentin Tomberg's Meditations on the Tarot: A Journey into Christian Hermeticism. Tomberg’s work, long regarded as a masterful synthesis of Christian and Hermetic wisdom, presents the Tarot’s arcana as symbols of inner spiritual stages. Our aim is to translate these stages into rites of initiation that guide the Christian seeker through a profound, personal transformation within the framework of their faith.

This essay is drawn from Path of Trinity, where I recount how the vision of the Three-Fold Path was first given to me on a train from Tallinn to Tartu, directed by Archangel Michael. It offers a brief map of ascent — Father, Spirit, and Son — rooted in Christian mysticism yet resonant with wisdom traditions across the world. What I share here is not a finished system but an invitation: to awakening, transformation, and union, lived as a spiral of love.

By explicitly connecting the three-fold path of Father, Spirit, and Son with Orthodox, Wesleyan, Hermetic, Kabbalist and Neoplatonic teachings, this report underscores the universality of spiritual ascent. Each tradition, with its unique lens, reflects the shared journey toward divine union, emphasizing that the path of transformation is both individual and cosmic. As we develop a structured initiatic Christian framework, I invite fellow seekers to contribute to this vision, sharing insights that deepen our collective understanding and enrich the path to divine love.

The Bulgarian folk belief that the dead souls are 'dismissed' (release from the netherworld) and stay invisible in the world of living in the period from Palm Sunday to Ascension Day/ Pentecost is associated with the middle-age apocrypha "The Passion of the holy Virgin". The article explores ethnographic and folklore data showing parallel to this this belief in the folklore of Bulgaria, Russia, Belarus, Serbia.

IN THE FINAL ARTICLE IN THIS SERIES we have reached a point where it will be possible to outline how Archangel Vidar takes each of seven tasks of Michael a step further in “Seven Steps.” How the former esoteric work of Archangel Michael,1 who has now risen to become an Archai or Time Spirit, working exoterically, is developed further by Vidar, as a new esoteric work, will be the subject of this essay. Hierarchical spiritual beings such as Archangels evolve much like human beings to take on greater tasks as they mature. Having gathered, from the preceding five essays, an initial idea of Vidar’s mission, it will be possible to outline more concretely and specifically how in seven ways Vidar carries forward Michael’s work, showing how the initiatives, or what I have referred to earlier as “imperatives” of Michael, in his dominion as an Archangel, are being passed on to the Archangel Vidar to be developed further.

A study developed out of the works of Rudolf Steiner, of the underground streams of Esoteric Christianity which flowed from the Brotherhood of the Holy Grail to the Order of the Knights Templars and the True Rosicrucian Order. The author shows you how to combine history, the tarot, astrology, kabbalah and numbers to develop a comprehensive Memory Theatre to further one's understanding of the Mysteries of the Initiates, both ancient and modern, in the light of Spiritual Scientific Anthroposophy. Formatted in a large 8" x 10" edition that Includes 26 full page Grail Diagrams; with many based on handwritten diagrams by Ehrenfried Pfeiffer, also includes extensive notes and bibliography.

The primary aim of the present dissertation is to provide critical editions, English translations, and technical commentaries of ten horoscopes written in Greek and Arabic dated between 474 and 487 CE. As the cases embedded in the collection have been anonymously handed down, using the results of previous research, I also attempt to identify the author and his other surviving writings.

In addition to being valuable for different fields of study such as Byzantine history, history of astronomy, philology, and others, the importance of this small collection lies in the fact that of the more than 180 horoscopes surviving from Hellenistic astrology that are also accompanied by readings, virtually only these ten horoscopes exemplify the genre of catarchic astrology. In contrast to the more familiar natal astrology, which draws its conclusions from the celestial disposition corresponding to the locality and moment of a birth, its catarchic counterpart drew its conclusions from the so-called “inceptions” (katarchē), which coincide with the inception or beginning of a specific occurrence or action, either spontaneous, unintended, or consciously initiated.

Given its subject matter, it is very likely that practicing astrologers most often relied on catarchic techniques in their everyday work, but in my view, research has so far failed to treat this branch of astrology in the necessary details. I attempt to remedy this deficiency by presenting a monograph on the sources, subject matters, characteristics, and technical development of catarchic astrology, as well as a survey of the other surviving catarchic horoscopes, to which I append a bio-bibliography of the relevant authors and the first editions or improved re-editions of the sources closely related to the study, accompanied by English translations.

La Fraternidad de la Flecha Dorada, fundada por la ocultista Maria de Naglowska en el París de 1932, fue una de las distintas órdenes mágicas de la Edad Contemporánea sobre las que se ha investigado en contextos relacionados con el satanismo, aunque en un número muy reducido de obras y nunca con demasiada profundidad. La fraternidad, que destacó por su sacerdocio exclusivamente femenino y el gran protagonismo de la magia sexual, se basaba en la particular e integradora visión teológica de Naglowska, de carácter no dualista, que incluía una trinidad compuesta por Dios, Jesús y, por último, Satán. Sin embargo, ni Satán ni Lucifer ejercen el papel de figura central dentro de este sistema esotérico cuya autora tampoco parece haber ejercido algún tipo de influencia en las bases del fenómeno conocido como «satanismo contemporáneo». Expuesto este fondo, mi comunicación tendrá un objetivo doble: presentar los cimientos teóricos de la Fraternidad de la Flecha Dorada, así como algunos de los rituales destacados de esta orden, para, en segundo lugar, determinar su naturaleza y revisar, debido a las razones mencionadas, la etiqueta de «satanismo» que ha sobrevolado la misma, tratando de clasificarla. Para ello, centraré mi análisis en el marco de las Ciencias de las Religiones, más concretamente en el de los nuevos movimientos religiosos y el esoterismo occidental, abordando los textos de Maria de Naglowska utilizados por la fraternidad. Además, me apoyaré en investigaciones anteriores con el fin de recopilar los datos históricos necesarios para introducir a la orden y a su carismática suma sacerdotisa

Ei nu știau să scrie și nu au lăsat nici un fel de letopisețe. Nu se pricepeau să construiască orașe și de aceea de-pe urma lor nu au rămas nici un fel de ruine. Și totuși, oamenii aceștia au reușit să lase urmașilor o mărturie a existenței lor .-Ce veselă si strălucitoare e dimineața de azi ! Poate că m-a ajutat arborele sfînt de mandragora ? There have been countless books written to guide social endeavors, in one way or another, into more humane directions: seeking to solve issues of social justice, discrimination, poverty, violence, distribution of wealth, hunger, war, greed, authoritarianism, threats to the environment, vanishing and diminishing species of animals, and countless other issues that multiply the sense of unrest in our time. We might ask, with all the wealth of ideas and books written, what has changed? What resultant good have these books and these ideas accomplished? Has there been any real change? Without venturing an answer, we may justifiably reply with what Albert Einstein is credited for saying: “The problems of the present cannot be solved from the perspective from which they were created.” It is interesting to note that decades earlier Rudolf Steiner, the Austrian polymath, (philosopher, artist, architect, educator, social reformer, literary critic, playwright, esotericist) said: “[I]f we look around among the social theorists, even among the most radical ones, ...they have originated [their ideas] from the same thoughts and impulses from which our conditions have arisen and have led to our situation.” Whether Einstein might have borrowed the phrase from Rudolf Steiner is immaterial. They concur in the idea that a new perspective is needed. The intention of this book is to introduce the reader to that new perspective—a spiritual rather than a materialistic perspective.

Raphael's Madonna paintings with a background usually hide the legends of the patron saints of Italian basilicas. In the painting of the Madonna of Alba, however, the arrival of Mary's house in Torsetto, in the territory of the former Kingdom of Hungary, and from there to Loretto, can be decoded, as depicted in the legend of Loretto.

This painting of the young artist on a biblical theme is usually analyzed by traditional art theory emphasing the Chiaroscuro. Recently arose  the possibility of the astralmythological analysis.
This method offers at least as much information about the ideas belonging to the painting as the traditional  methods.

This is a compilation of two articles published in The Laughing Man magazine's Special Issue on Christianity in 1980, "The God-Seeing Life" and "Catherine of Siena," collectively discussing four of the greatest mystics of Christianity. The God-Seeing Life article features three mystics: The Blessed Jan van Ruysbroeck (a Flemish protestant mystic of the Middle Ages and contemporary of Meister Eckhart), St. Teresa of Avila (a Carmelite nun and one of the great mystics and saints of Catholicism), and St. Seraphim of Sarov (a great mystic, forest hermit monk, and saint of the Eastern Orthodox tradition of Christianity). This trinity of mystics is augmented by a second article discussing "St. Catherine of Siena," a remarkable Catholic mystic of the 14th century whom St. Francis of Assisi considered one of the two greatest Italian saints, along with St. Theresa of Avila.

The analysis discusses the zodiacal symbolism of Delacroix's painting Christ on the Sea of Galilee. By describing the forgotten mainstream Western European sacred coding system (EDM system), he identifies the planets hidden in the characters of the work, the Christogram and the Milky Way, which can be considered the painter's zodiacally coded commentary.

Intradisciplinary and/or interdisciplinary implications: This article uses a narrative analysis to contribute to the discourse on the characterisation of Jesus in the Matthean Gospel. It engages with the field of narrative criticism focussing on characterisation in biblical texts. This has implications for Hermeneutics. It can also be useful for dogmatic research in Angelology and Christology.

IN PART ONE OF THIS SERIES my intention was to set the stage for connecting to Michael and Vidar by giving an overview of the Fifth and Sixth Cultural Ages. Michael and Vidar are hierarchical beings: an Archai or Time Spirit, and an Archangel, or Spirit of Fire, who are intimately connected with the spiritual evolutionary process underway in the transition from our current cultural age to the following one. A conscious working connection to these great spiritual leaders of humanity is not possible without knowing and understanding what they are working to achieve. In Part II in this series of articles I continue to provide my readers spiritual substance for understanding how one can make real connections to Michael and Vidar.

We as students of spiritual science, understand that there is nothing more important than fulfilling the tasks of our age, which with the help of the time spirit, Michael, and the Archangel Vidar, we are equipped to do. Anthroposophy, as a corpus of knowledge and practices has been designed to help us remember our pre-birth experience of the Michael School in the spiritual world so that we can, during our current incarnation, together fulfill the tasks of our age. The greatest task, among many we could list, is to begin to develop a specific higher consciousness and out of that consciousness a community that begins to mirror the community of the next epoch, the sixth epoch, sometimes referred to as the “Philadelphia Community.”

In the following study, which will for many of us, be an exploration into new territory, I would like to introduce my readers to a deeper understanding of and connection with the principal spiritual beings guiding humanity from the current 5th Epoch into the coming 6th Epoch: the more familiar time spirit, Michael, and the enigmatic Archangel, Vidar, in a series of short essays.

From the ancient practice, implied by many textual sources although never formally prescribed, of identifying the twelve horoscopic places (the δωδεκάτροπος dōdekatropos) with the zodiacal signs, recent scholarship has often concluded that such identification constituted a tenet of ancient astrology even at a conceptual level. On the basis of a close reading of Vettius Valens’ Anthologies, supported by other ancient sources, this paper argues that while the places, like other elements of horoscopic practice, were often provisionally approximated by sign position alone, calculation of places by degree, with boundaries differing from those of the zodiacal signs, was consistently upheld in principle as more accurate and useful. Specifically, Valens’ preference appears to have been for places calculated from the quadrants formed by the intersections of horizon and meridian, a method also occasionally used in the Anthologies for defining planetary configurations and for annual transmission (παράδοσις paradosis). In several cases, such methods are explicitly employed even for horoscopes presented in a simple, signs-only format.

In reporting about the given meeting with the etheric Christ, in chapter 4 of the first volume, we described how in the meeting the Christ planted three golden spirit seeds in man’s spirit, soul, and bodies. Dear friends, two years ago I brought to you by way of Chanticleer, A Week of Reflections for Easter: St. Paul’s Initiation/Conversion in Light of the Easter Thought. Last year I shared: An Easter Thought: How Do I Find the Christ?  This Easter season I would like to take you with me on a journey to the sacred land of Shambhala. There are two sides to the Easter we celebrate nowadays: the Christian side with its palm fronds, hot-cross buns, Easter Lilies, butterflies and lambs (signifying the lamb of God)-all expressing the idea of Jesus Christ's death and resurrection; and the pre-Christian or pagan side with its celebration of springtime, budding and blossoming, Easter eggs, bunny rabbits and baby chicks. The Christian symbols, which conceal unfathomable mysteries and are too often taken for granted with little comprehension, are nevertheless accessible enough for intellectual reflection. While the depth of meaning, which lies deeper than our appreciation of and pleasure derived from the lovely natural phenomena of Springtime, is less accessible for reflection. In other words, a deeper meaning is hidden in these pre-Christian symbols, which can help us to penetrate the deepest of mysteries contained in the manifestly Christian Easter message. So, let us seek to gather from these slight indications a sense of what is "at the bottom" of this matter for a deeper understanding of Easter this year.

This paper focuses on an edition with English translation and commentary of an excerpt from the Syntagma Laurentianum, the astrological miscellany contained in the 11th century manuscript Laur. Plut. 28.34, systematically applying techniques of horoscopic astrology to the determination of the possibility, intensity, and time of rain through the year. The heading shows an attribution to "a certain Syrian" (Σύρος τις), which I claim should probably be interpreted as a misleading scribal correction of the name Σύρος. The name probably indicates servile origin from Syria, and the Greek text may indeed show interferences with Aramaic dialects. In an appendix, I discuss the possibility that the author was identical with the dedicatee of half of Claudius Ptolemy's treatises.

During my 20’ the gap between the experience of the etheric Christ and spiritualized thinking has indeed narrowed considerably from above downward, and the bridge construction was progressing successfully. However, the crucial problem concerning the spiritualization of ordinary consciousness in the physical world remained unsolved, and therefore only half of the bridge could be completed. While I found it relatively easy to unite my imaginative cognition with pure thinking, I could not find a way to spiritualize the brain bound forces of physical cognition.

Adam Stout’s accessible, attractively illustrated history of the Glastonbury Thorn, one of the most famous trees in Europe if not the world, is the first full-length study of the Thorn, which has to date featured only in broader studies of holy trees or of the town of Glastonbury and the ‘Somerset tradition’ attached to it. This tradition tells of a visit to England by Joseph of Arimathea and the boy Jesus, and Joseph’s return after the death and resurrection of Christ, bringing the Holy Grail to William Blake’s ‘green and pleasant land’. Stout demonstrates extensive knowledge of the primary sources and scholarly secondary literature, but this book is firmly directed to a broader reading public than academics and students in tertiary education.
