At the same time both teachers and the school as such are met with demands of increased professionalism, internationalization, etc. The task of the school is to provide students with an opportunity to develop the skills necessary to become independent and active citizens in the network society. This requires rethinking the structure of the school, rethinking the organization of learning and the content of the learning process as well as the roles of teachers and students. The content and concepts of the school subjects are developed in the light of information technology and globalization. This work propose some visions for your school regarding the initiatives that are needed to disseminate the evaluation culture both with regard to tools and improvement of the colleagues' qualifications.

According to the constructivist theory of Papert, it intends to illustrate how it is possible, starting with nursery school, to crteate special "learning environments" in which a digital matrix can promote attitudes of discovery, group dynamics and forms of inclusive teaching in addition to basic language skills, logical-mathematical, topological and manipulative, thus creating the basis for future learning.

In the last years, there has been an advancement in technology, thus, new tools have become avail... more In the last years, there has been an advancement in technology, thus, new tools have become available for the study of marine sciences. Scientists and engineers have worked together to give a plethora of tools to help in marine sciences, either environment monitoring, statistical data or numeric models. We use different tools in marine sciences, such as ArcGIS for display and manipulation of geospatial data, R for statistical analysis, SPSS for statistical data. The addressed question is which one of these tools is the most suitable for use. This paper explores the most commonly used tools, the advantages and drawbacks of using them as well as their prospective challenges.

This work summarizes the findings of a research effort undertaken to understand the links between... more This work summarizes the findings of a research effort undertaken to understand the links between child mental health and the uses of Information and Communication Technologies ICT. It is based on research conducted in the web aiming to identify the powerful role of ICT& multimedia tools on educational development process of yang people. Bringing a lot of web resources, this work aim to promote new methodologies on making easier the overall education process on schools. The research involves three stages starting from a short survey of children health across specific educational stages. Then we analyze and suggest specific conditions to create strong basis on relationships between the school and ICT resources. At the end, we show a collection of addresses and applications available on the web that help on the mental development of children of different ages.

An Autonomous Simulation Based System for Robotic Services in Partially Known Environments

This paper is focused on presenting the architecture and the implementation of a semi autonomous ... more This paper is focused on presenting the architecture and the implementation of a semi autonomous simulation based system which is able to navigate into a partially known environment. Most of robotic agent does not support mobility according the requirements of applications. Our implementation provides a semi autonomous system which is used by an operator performing several services with better quality and low costs. The design is a module based architecture which supports the robot navigation using simulation offline software and on line at the moment when the agency percepts obstacles. The robot changes states of its mobility in real time building a new strategy to achieve the normal path received from a simulator that execute and communicate the path calculated by a simple navigational algorithm in the virtual static environment. Using a communication protocol between robotic unit and simulator software, it is possible to correct data and to improve the system behavior through a wireless communication. The physical system is tested in a laboratory environment. It is situated in a environment which is the same designed in the simulator. The robot updates its coordinates in the virtual environment and the simulation runs exactly according the navigation algorithms until the sensor module transmits to simulation software new data of obstacle presence. We evaluate the performance of the system and the results confirm an improved behavior of robotic agent in extreme situations of dynamic environment.

Developing Third Mission Activities in Albanian Universities

The CULTAN (Controlled Uptake Long Term Ammonium Nutrition) system is based on one-time injection... more The CULTAN (Controlled Uptake Long Term Ammonium Nutrition) system is based on one-time injection of the whole dose of nitrogen required for the vegetation period. The effect of this method on yield and grain quality of winter wheat was observed in a 2-year small-plot trial at 4 different experimental sites in the Czech Republic. The experiment comprised two treatments with the total amount of nitrogen applied during fertilization of 150 kg N/ha. At the CULTAN treatment the whole dose was applied all at once using the GFI 3A injection machine (Maschinen und Antriebstechnik GmbH Güstrow), whereas at the control treatment, the dose was divided into three applications. The average grain yield of winter wheat in 2007 was 9.56 t/ha (control) and 8.78 t/ha (CULTAN); in 2008 it was 9.91 t/ha (control) and 9.63 t/ha (CULTAN). The differences in 2008 were not statistically significant. The contents of nitrogen and gluten were significantly lower at CULTAN treatment in both years. The values of falling number, Zeleny test and bulk density were generally similar at both treatments.

Complex control systems that operate in not entirely predictable environment have to deal with th... more Complex control systems that operate in not entirely predictable environment have to deal with this environment in an autonomous manner using adaptability, the ability to predict environmental changes, and to maintain their integrity. Elements of the system must be able to find a new solution in a dynamic way. In this paper, we present the modeling of a traffic lights’ control system using a multivalent system. This is a large-scale distributed system, consisting of autonomous and rational traffic light agents, in which there is no centre imposing an outcome. Multiagent system brings another kind of organization of the distributed control. The information is distributed over the agents. The behavior of the other agents is incorporated into the making decision process of the agent. We apply different control algorithms in our multiagent simulation environment and show that using multiagent systems in dynamic and unpredictable environment the control will be adoptable.
