Kultur è una raccolta di saggi presentati da Wolfgang Welsch in occasione di alcune conferenze te... more Kultur è una raccolta di saggi presentati da Wolfgang Welsch in occasione di alcune conferenze tenute tra il 2013 e il 2015 e adesso riproposti dall'autore sotto una rinnovata veste unitaria. I contributi che compongono il volume vogliono rendere conto delle grandi trasformazioni che interessano l'arte e l'estetica contemporanee, coniugando sapientemente teoria estetologica e interpretazione artistica. Riprendendo il punto di vista sviluppato nei suoi ultimi scritti-in particolare in Homo mundanus e in Mensch und Welt-Welsch indaga la relazione tra esperienza estetica ed essere-nel-mondo dell'uomo a partire da una critica radicale al dualismo natura-cultura. Come si colloca l'esperienza artistica ed estetica alla luce di un rapporto non oppositivo tra uomo e mondo? E, soprattutto, quale posizione può assumere l'estetica contemporanea rispetto alla ritrovata "mondanità" (Welthaftigkeit) dell'esistenza umana, una volta che sia caduto il pregiudizio antropico? Questo orizzonte problematico costituisce il Leitmotiv dei sei saggi che compongono il volume e viene sviluppato dall'autore secondo tre principali direttrici: seguendo il filone delle teorie scientifiche e antropologiche evoluzionistiche, che sostengono la sostanziale continuità tra regno animale e mondo umano, tra natura e cultura; in opposizione al costruttivismo moderno, secondo cui l'uomo, in quanto essere autonomo, non esperisce ma costruisce la realtà; ed infine, sulla base di un nuovo realismo, per il quale l'uomo fa esperienza del mondo e lo scopre in modo del tutto reale. Welsch intende innanzitutto mostrare in che modo l'esperienza estetica dischiuda una visione del mondo totale e inclusiva, tesa a superare la distinzione categoriale tra natura e cultura. Hanno elaborato dei metodi per filosofare e influenzato intere epoche. Tuttora il loro rapporto rimane scarsamente indagato. Il presente saggio contribuisce a colmare questa lacuna. Protagoniste sono la Fenomenologia dello spirito e Crisi delle scienze europee: il manifesto programmatico di Hegel e l’ultima parola di Husserl. Entrambe le opere s’interrogano sulla natura della ricerca filosofica servendosi di un ampliamento semantico della nozione kantiana di esperienza (Erfahrung). L’esperienza in questione non è solo quella che la ragione fa di se stessa, ma anche quella che noi – uomini, cittadini, aspiranti filosofi, autori e lettori di questo libro – possiamo fare della ragione attraverso cui cerchiamo un senso per il nostro vivere. Hegel and Husserl are two of the most important philosophers in modern times. They developed two different way to philosophize and influenced entire epochs. The relationship between their systems of philosophy is still scarcely explored. This study contributes to fill this gap. In particular, I focus on Phenomenology of Spirit and Crisis of European Sciences, since they respectively represents a manifesto of Hegel&#39;s thought and Husserl&#39;s last word. Both works address the issue of the nature of philosophical research by broadening Kant&#39;s notion of experience (Erfahrung). With this term Hegel and Husserl mean not only the experience that reason does of itself but also the experience that we - seen as men, citizens, philosophers to be, authors or readers - does of reason.

Obiettivo del contributo è dimostrare come le immagini giochino un ruolo fondamentale nel process... more Obiettivo del contributo è dimostrare come le immagini giochino un ruolo fondamentale nel processo di formazione dell&#39;atteggiamento filosofico perché permettono di mettere in discussione l&#39;atteggiamento ordinario dall&#39;interno. Si mette in risalto l&#39;intrinseca negatività delle immagini soffermandosi in particolare sulle analisi dedicate da Benjamin e Husserl all&#39;esperienza fotografica. Introducendo la nozione di inconscio ottico, Benjamin sostiene che il rivolgimento riflessivo avvenga nel soggetto fruitore d&#39;immagini in modo inintenzionale. Nonostante Husserl sia il maggiore studioso della sfera intenzionale della coscienza, attraverso il confronto con Benjamin si cerca di mettere in risalto la dimensione inconscia, benché non passiva, implicata dall&#39;idea husserliana del triplo oggetto della coscienza d&#39;immagine. Nella parte finale del testo, si confronta la teoria mimetica della scrittura proposta da Benjamin con la teoria della scrittura proposta da Husserl nel saggio pubblicato postumo da Fink e valorizzato da Derrida, &quot;Sull&#39;origine della geometria&quot;.

In this article, I propose a comparison between Natorp, Husserl, and Sellars that has a twofold a... more In this article, I propose a comparison between Natorp, Husserl, and Sellars that has a twofold aim. First, I ask to what extent Sellars’s perspective can be considered to be Neo-Kantian. Second, I demonstrate that the point of divergence among these three thinkers does not have to do with the role they ascribe to givenness in knowledge, but with the way they conceive the activity of thinking. Focusing on Husserl’s reading of Natorp’s theses concerning the subjective and objective ground of knowledge, I show that both Natorp and Husserl agree with Sellars on the limits of a positivistic and empiricist perspective that relies on what is given in perception for the justification of one’s epistemic beliefs. On the other hand, the differences between the three thinkers emerge as soon as we consider how they attempt to integrate the spontaneity of thinking into the sphere of intuition from a renewed Kantian perspective.

In the present article, I will discuss Lotze's attempt to "sublate" (aufh... more In the present article, I will discuss Lotze's attempt to "sublate" (aufheben) Hegel's conception of logic in his Logic of 1874. I will demonstrate that Lotze operates as a filter by recasting many Hegelian notions in a way that will influence the 20th-century philosophers in a decisive manner. In the first section, I will focus on how, according to both Hegel and Lotze, the relationship between representation and language conditions the transition from sensible impressions to concepts. In the second section, I will discuss Lotze's re-elaboration of Hegel's idea of the objectivity of thought based on his notion of validity. In the third part, I will finally show how Lotze's revaluation of the function of imagination in the domain of "logic" (in a straightforward opposition to Hegel's underestimation thereof) allows us to re-discover the early modern idea of logic understood as an 'ars inveniend...

Sin dai Prolegomeni ad una logica pura, la critica al naturalismo ha accompagnato le riflessioni ... more Sin dai Prolegomeni ad una logica pura, la critica al naturalismo ha accompagnato le riflessioni di Husserl, permettendogli di definire meglio i suoi propositi e di circoscrivere il terreno dell'indagine fenomenologica. 1 In La filosofia come scienza rigorosa, Husserl annoverava fra le diverse varianti di naturalismo lo psicologismo, il materialismo comune, il monismo sensistico e l'energetismo. 2 Tuttavia, nel corso degli anni, il significato del termine "naturalismo" ha arricchito le sue sfumature di senso. Un apporto importante a riguardo è stato dato dagli studi di Marvin Farber. In Naturalism and Subjectivism la sua analisi dei volumi di Idee era tesa a mostrare che non tutte le possibili forme di naturalismo si presentano come tendenza filosofica antitetica al puro soggettivismo: un naturalismo critico orientato al progresso scientifico non può non diventare interlocutore privilegiato di una prospettiva filosofica, quale la fenomenologia, che s'interroga sull'origine intenzionale delle scienze e dei loro campi di indagine. 3 Gli studi di Farber furono proseguiti con più successo dal suo allievo Wilfrid Sellars. Negli ultimi vent'anni, diversi pensatori che si rifanno proprio a Sellars hanno descritto la loro prospettiva come "naturalistica" ed alcuni sono arrivati anche a teorizzare la possibilità di scorgere forme specifiche di "naturalismo" in autori del passato. Si pensi ad esempio all'«Aristotelian naturalism» professato da McDowell in Mind and World e ripreso in un recentissimo saggio da Terry Pinkard per descrivere la prospettiva filosofica sviluppata da Hegel, soprattutto nella Fenomenologia dello spirito e nelle sezioni dell'Enciclopedia delle scienze filosofiche in compendio dedicate alla "filosofia della natura" e alla "filosofia dello spirito soggettivo". Alla luce di ciò, in questo contributo vorrei interrogarmi sulla possibilità di riconoscere una forma di naturalismo che non sia alternativa alla prospettiva fenomenologica. Per riuscire in questo intento cercherò di sviluppare un serrato confronto fra la critica al naturalismo mossa da Husserl in La filosofia come scienza rigorosa, in Idee II e in Crisi delle scienze europee e la classificazione dei tre stili di naturalismo proposta da McDowell nella quarta lezione di Mind and World. Il mio intento è duplice. 1. Vorrei mostrare come una completa comprensione di cosa sia "natura" sia subordinata alla possibilità di comprendere che cosa venga meno nella moderna concezione meccanicistica della natura come regno di leggi misurabili. In the present essay, I will compare Hegel’s and Husserl’s conceptions of the history of philosop... more In the present essay, I will compare Hegel’s and Husserl’s conceptions of the history of philosophy. I will show how Hegel and Husserl recast Kant’s idea of a philosophizing history of philosophy in two different ways. Both Hegel and Husserl share the conviction that reason unfolds itself in history. Nonetheless, whereas Hegel identifies the history of philosophy with the contingent manifestation of the self-actualization of the Idea, Husserl develops a critical history of ideas. On the one hand, Hegel conceives of the history of philosophy as a complex whole and each determinate philosophy as interpreting a specific articulation of the logical deduction of thought-determinations. On the other hand, perhaps influenced by Windelband, Husserl appropriates the Kantian thesis according to which the objects of the history of reason represent specific constellations of problems.

In this article, I examine the early reception of Sartre's philosophy in the United States. Discu... more In this article, I examine the early reception of Sartre's philosophy in the United States. Discussing two apparently alternative views propounded by Herbert Marcuse and Jean Wahl on Sartre's conception of freedom in Being and Nothingness, I will first propose a distinction between those interpreters that in the 1940's attributed to Sartre a form of Bergsonism from those who saw in his transformation of Husserl's perspective a way to retrieve Hegelian phenomenology. In the second section, I will focus on Aron Gurwitsch's appeal to Sartre's non-egological conception of consciousness, as well as on Sartre's interpretation of consciousness as an impersonal spontaneity and an ongoing flux. Finally, in the third section, I will deal with Maurice Natanson's critique of Sartre's ontology by paying specific attention to the importance he attributes to sexual desire. As will be shown, his account is consistent with Marcuse's and anticipates what his student Judith Butler will later argue in her masterpiace Subjects of Desire.

Analisi dell’esperienza e mondo della vita. La mondanizzazione della fenomenologia negli Stati Uniti

КЛЮЧЕВЫЕ СЛОВА: коммуникативные компетенции; межкультурные коммуникации; межкультурное взаимодейс... more КЛЮЧЕВЫЕ СЛОВА: коммуникативные компетенции; межкультурные коммуникации; межкультурное взаимодействие; русские студенты; методика преподавания китайского языка; китайский язык как иностранный; сравнительный анализ. АННОТАЦИЯ. Статья посвящена исследованию понятия «межкультурная коммуникативная компетенция» при обучении иностранным языкам. В статье не только подчеркнута важность коммуникативного и межкультурного подходов в языковом обучении, но и представлено исследование обучения языку и культуре в Китае, выделены культурные аспекты в языковом обучении. Приведены примеры, показывающие различия в русской и китайской культурах. В статье аргументировано доказано, что процесс формирования межкультурной коммуникативной компетенции у русских студентов-лингвистов уже на начальном этапе обучения китайскому языку как иностранному становится более эффективным, если с самого начала в процессе обучения всем языковым аспектам китайского языка знакомить студентов с традициями, обычаями и культурой китайского народа. Таким образом, при обучении китайскому языку как иностранному языку у студентов формируется практико-ориентированная иноязычная компетенция в действии. На основе коммуникативных упражнений, направленных на познание культуры китайского народа, формируется также межкультурная компетенция. В статье, с точки зрения русских и китайских ученых, рассматриваются основополагающие понятия компетентностного подхода: «компетенция», «коммуникативная компетенция», «коммуникативная иноязычная компетенция» и «межкультурная коммуникативная компетенция», а также «межкультурная коммуникация» и дается их сравнительно-сопоставительный анализ. Исследование понятия «межкультурная коммуникативная компетенция» основано на сравнительносопоставительном анализе особенностей коммуникации, принятых в России и Китае, а также на сравнении дефиниций, данных этому понятию русскими и китайскими учеными. Результаты исследования, приведенные в данной статье, могут быть использованы преподавателями при обучении китайскому языку как иностранному.

The effects of the initial preheating perturbation on the dynamical behaviors of FGC wave propaga... more The effects of the initial preheating perturbation on the dynamical behaviors of FGC wave propagation instability for low-velocity FGC in packed bed are studied numerically. The behaviors of the flame front inclination, break, and shrinking instabilities are always observed in experiments. Based on the experimental phenomena, an initial thermal perturbation model is numerically proposed as to predict the deformation behaviors of the flame front instabilities. The typical flame shapes are obtained depending on filtration velocity, equivalence ratio, and initial preheating temperature difference. It is demonstrated that the development of flame front inclination instability is proportional to the magnitude of initial preheating perturbation. At a lower equivalence ratio, the initial thermal perturbation of 300 K leads to the evolution of flame front break. Increasing filtration velocity leads to the appearance of flame front break, due to the intensification of the hydrodynamic instability. In addition, a perculiar instability of flame front shifting is also confirmed with the initial thermal perturbation of 400 K, which results in a fuel leakage of incomplete combustion.
