Analysis and New Approaches to Solving the Problems of Integration of E-Science and E-Education Based on the Challenges of Industry 4.0
Industry 4.0 relies on the introduction of digital technologies for collecting, processing, and a... more Industry 4.0 relies on the introduction of digital technologies for collecting, processing, and analyzing data, providing useful information for digital decisions. This work studies the problems of integration of e-science and e-education based on Industry 4.0 solutions. It analyzes the current state of affairs, identifies the problems and provides conceptual directions for their solution, thereby creating conditions for developing new, more effective, and innovative methods of management, research, and training. In general, the proposed conceptual approach to the integration of e-education and e-science involves combining technologies, methods and approaches taking into account social, economic, and cultural aspects of the issue.

Technological innovations at the forefront of industrial revolutions are applied not only in indu... more Technological innovations at the forefront of industrial revolutions are applied not only in industry but also create a need for research and applications, as a result of which they are mastered and penetrate other areas of human activity. In this regard, the latest advances in information technology in the field of data generation, storage, transmission and processing during the 4th industrial revolution have led to the transformation of traditional scientific activity and the rapid development of the concept of "data-based science". The article analyzes the main development stages in the scientific environment, the organization of scientific activities with the widespread use of Industry 4.0 solutions, and its organic connection with the concept of Science 4.0. The essence of Science 4.0 is revealed through the review of studies in the field of the Internet of Things, cyberphysical systems, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data analytics, and other intelligent solutions. Conceptual issues of the formation of Science 4.0 are developed and relevant proposals are made for its implementation.

Problemlərin həllində əşyaların İnterneti, smart sensorlar, simsiz rabitə şəbəkələri kimi texnoloji yeniliklərin imkanları verilmiş və neft-qaz kompleksində tətbiqlərinin konseptual modeli təklif edilmişdir. Modelin reallaşdırılması nəticəsində kompleksin daha effektiv və etibarlı fəaliyyətinin təmin olunması, məhsuldarlığının və rəqabət qabiliyyətinin artması göstərilmişdir.

Here, the further progressive development and deepening of scientific research and connections presuppose a special role of e-science. E-science is closely connected with the innovative potential of IT, including the Internet technologies, the Internet of things, cyber-physical systems, which provide the means and solutions to the problems associated with the collection of scientific data, their storage, processing, and transmission. The integration of cyber-physical systems is accompanied by the exponential growth of scientific data that require professional management, analysis for the acquisition of new knowledge and the qualitative development of science. In the framework of e-science, cloud technologies are now widely used, which represent a centralized infrastructure with its inherent characteristic that is associated with an increase in the number of connected devices and the generation of scientific data. This ultimately leads to a conflict of resources, an increase in processing delay, losses, and the adoption of ineffective decisions. The article is devoted to the analysis of the current state and problems of integration of cyber-physical systems in the environment of e-science and ways to effectively solve key problems. The environment of e-science is considered in the context of a smart city. It presents the possibilities of using the cloud, fog, dew computing, and blockchain technologies, as well as a technological solution for decentralized processing of scientific data.

The application of modern information technologies in the oil and gas sector is constantly develo... more The application of modern information technologies in the oil and gas sector is constantly developing, which facilitates the acceleration of exploration and detection of oil, the increase in oil production and reduction in risks relates to health, human safety, and the environment. The Internet of things in the oil and gas sector, like in all sectors of industry, has great prospects from an economic point of view. The article is devoted to the study of the current state and avenues of solving key problems of effective and reliable functioning of the oil and gas industry as a cyber-physical system using the Internet of things in the Azerbaijani oil company SOCAR. The main technological processes and existing opportunities for the application of information technologies in the oil and gas complex are analyzed. New approaches are proposed to solve the problems in the oil and gas complex as cyber-physical system based on the smart sensors, the Internet of things, wireless networks and cloud technologies. The implementation of the proposed model is aimed at increasing the effectiveness, resource storage, exploration reliability and durability of the oil and gas complex.

Industry 4.0 is directly connected to the Internet of things, cyber-physical systems, artificial ... more Industry 4.0 is directly connected to the Internet of things, cyber-physical systems, artificial intelligence, robotics and other advanced technologies. It is these technologies that made fully automated digital production, controlled by intelligent systems in real-time with constant interaction via the Internet, a reality. They turned the production system into a "smart network factory", where all activities are digitally controlled, and the use of financial and material resources becomes more efficient. Along with this, in Industry 4.0, a significant increase in data volumes brought to the forefront data protection issues, including in such a sensitive area as personal data. Illegitimate methods of using personal data to obtain additional preferences have become the goal of some communities of people. Video surveillance data are an integral part of personal data, therefore protection of personal data processed in video surveillance systems has been given increased attention. The video surveillance system includes video cameras, information and communication channels for data transmission, processing devices, analytics and personal data storage. The proposed model is a subsystem of smart video surveillance in the oil and gas sector, that consisting of such subsystems as a smart field, smart grid, smart maintenance, smart transportation, smart security, etc. Conceptual tasks are considered and recommendations for their solution are given.
