Abstract

The development of the globalization era at present leads to technological advancements in various fields, encompassing economics, social aspects, education, and health. Technological progress brings forth both positive and negative impacts on the environment. One of the negative impacts of technological advancement on the environment is environmental degradation resulting in a decline in the quality of the living environment. The environment constitutes a unified system wherein there exist interrelated interactions among living organisms, objects, and resources. An individual's attitude can determine the favorable or unfavorable conditions and situations that occur within the surrounding environment. The environment must be maintained in terms of cleanliness and beauty with a strong sense of responsibility and a heightened awareness in environmental preservation. However, based on observational findings, it is evident that the attitude of environmental concern among students at a certain State Elementary School in Purwakarta is still lacking. To cultivate a sense of environmental concern, a service initiative is conducted with the aim of providing education regarding environmental awareness, particularly for elementary school students. The outcomes obtained from this service initiative prove to be highly beneficial for the students, as they become more conscious of safeguarding and maintaining the environment around them.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the economic improvement of village communities based on household industries in Sukasari Village, Cidolog District, Ciamis Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research design. Techniques for collecting data were obtained through literature study, conducting interviews with 7 sources, and carrying out participant observation. In carrying out analysis, namely by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results of this research are: 1) Improving the Village Community Economy Based on Home Industries in Sukasari Village, Cidolog District, Ciamis Regency is not yet optimal, 2) Obstacles that occur are inequality in internet access, lack of business partners who are able to finance capital, unpreparedness for product digitalization business and the lack of literacy in using online media as promotional and sales literacy. 3) The efforts made are that the Village Government has attempted to facilitate training for home industry business actors in Sukasari Village so that they are able to digitize business products such as using online promotional media, improving packaging design, and marketing online via digital platforms for free.

Abstract

Financial Distress is a situation where the cash in a company cannot fulfill its obligations so that a company is required to take action. This research is to find out how much influence financial distress and company size have on earnings management. This research uses independent variables, namely Financial Distress, Company Size and the dependent variable Profit Management. The population in this research is the 2020-2022 research period and the sample size is the 30 most liquid sharia shares listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index. The type of research in this research is quantitative descriptive research. The analysis used in this research is descriptive statistics, panel data regression, Chow test, Hausman test, hypothesis test, t test, f test, and coefficient of determination. This research will use the Eviews 12 programprogram to process data. The research results show that there is a positive influence of financial distress on earnings management. Meanwhile, the regression equation obtained a value of 0.263111 so that the analysis results show that the t-value is greater than t-table 1.66543 and P-value = 0.7932 > 0.05 so it can be concluded that company size has an effect on company performance. there is no influence on earnings management, and the calculated F value is greater than F table (-36.00000 > 1.99210), then it can be concluded that financial distress and company size simultaneously have a significant effect on earnings management.
