Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of the Tiktok application on the behavior and character of elementary school students. The method used in this research is literature study, namely reviewing regulations, books, and journals. Based on data from several books and journals, the results obtained are that the use of the tiktok application causes two impacts, namely positive and negative impacts. For the positive there is no change in student behavior and character, while the negative impacts are changes in student behavior and character, they behave impolitely towards teachers and even parents, get emotional easily, and are indifferent to the surrounding environment because they are too engrossed in playing tiktok..

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of a new policy in the project program to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students in character education, in practice, namely to form Indonesian students who have basic competencies and behaviors that are in accordance with Pancasila values. In order for students to have national character in accordance with Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution, the government issued a project program to strengthen Pancasila student profiles to support the implementation of character education for elementary school students. This study uses a qualitative approach and descriptive method. Data collection techniques by means of interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques by means of data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification, and conducting data validity. The results of this study are 1) school program policies to develop character education are the realization of the school's vision and mission as well as project programs to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students. 2) the process of implementing the project to strengthen the Pancasila student profile based on the Kepmendikbudristek guidelines No. 56 of 2022 Guidelines for Implementing the Curriculum. 3) the obstacles faced are in terms of the family economy and the lack of facilities from schools. 4) efforts made in dealing with obstacles, namely by evaluating consistently, making modules, annual programs, semester programs adapted to programs that will be implemented in schools.

Abstract

The use of learning models to improve students' creative thinking.The objective of this research is to observe the student learning activities and the raise of students' creative thinking ability after using the quantum teaching model in 4th Graders at one of SDN Purwakarta Regency. Using the class action research model of John Eliot Darmadi in two cycles, with each cycle including four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Observation, tests, and documentation obtained the data, with 28 students were selected as the sample. The results showed an average of 66.5 or 32% in the initial condition stage; an average of 70.2 or 57% in the pre-cycle stage; an average of 74.8 or 61% in the first cycle stage;and an average of 87.6 or 96% in the second cycle. According to the findings of the study research, there were increases of 25% in the initial condition stage to the pre-cycle, 4% in the precycle stage to the first cycle, 35% in the first cycle to the second cycle, and 39% in the pre- cycle stage to the second cycle. It is concluded that the quantum teaching method can help students develop their critical thinking abilities in social studies learning.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran yang kurang efektif dan tidak variatif dapat membuat minat belajar menjadi rendah dan berdampak pada menurunnya hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap hasil belajar PPKn siswa kelas IV di sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen serta sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Sekolah Dasar sebanyak 20 siswa dari kelas eksperimen dan 20 siswa dari kelas kontrol. Siswa pada kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan dengan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan kelas kontrol hanya mendapatkan perlakuan dengan model role playing. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu dilihat dari skor rata-rata pretest siswa sebelum mendapatkan perlakuan pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 48,25. Kemudian terdapat peningkatan skor posttest siswa setelah mendapatkan perlakuan pembelajaran menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) menjadi 80,50. Dan perhitungan persamaan regresinya yaitu γ ̂ = 49,102 + 0,466 X. Dari koefisien determinasi pada hasil analisis regresi kelas eksperimen, besar pengaruh model yang digunakan sebesar 71,7%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar PPKn siswa pada kelas ekperimen mengalami peningkatan setelah mendapat perlakuan dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Abstract

This research was conducted at SDN 1 Ciwareng class IV IPAS subject. The background in the study is related to the learning outcomes of students who on average get scores below the KKM. In general, the KKM value determined in elementary schools is 70. The factor that causes students to be less active in the learning process and the average value is below KKM is that the learning carried out in the classroom still uses conventional methods. One of the efforts that can be made is to apply a picture and picture type cooperative learning model that can make students learn in groups and train teamwork. The type of research used is quasi experiment with Non-equivalent Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample used in the study was grade IV students of SDN 1 Ciwareng with a total of 57 students divided into experimental groups and control groups. Based on the results of the study, it shows that there is an effect on student learning outcomes of 16.7%. Meanwhile, the increase in learning outcomes that received treatment with the picture and picture type cooperative learning model was seen from the average n-gain score of the experimental group of 0.4441 in the medium category, and the control group of 0.2349 in the low category. This means that the use of the picture and picture type cooperative learning model is better than the conventional model. Abstract

Abstract The ability to think critically is one of the things that must be possessed by students in social studies learning. Based on the results of the data obtained in the field, namely SDN 4 Nagrikaler, it is known that students' critical thinking skills are still low, therefore efforts are needed to improve critical thinking skills. So the researcher tries to apply the modelcooperative learning typemake a match namely the learning model of matching questions and answers to each other in a pleasant atmosphere. This study aims to improve students' critical thinking skills at SDN 4 Nagrikaler, especially focusing on the VA class with a total of 26 students. Consists of 14 male students and 12 female students. The method used in this research is a class action research method (CAR) using a model spiral Kemmis and Mc. Taggart, which consists of the process of planning, implementing actions, observation and reflection. From the research that has been carried out, the data shows that there is an increase that occurs in each cycle. In cycle I, the average value of student learning outcomes was 55.9 with a percentage of 42.3%, which was still far from the specified KKM, namely 70, only 11 out of 26 students completed. In the second cycle there was an increase with an average score of 81.1 student learning outcomes with a percentage of 88.4%, 23 students had reached KKM and 3 students had not completed it. It can be concluded that the learning modelcooperative learning typemake a match can improve the critical thinking skills of elementary school students. Keywords: Models cooperative learning type make a match, Critical thinking, IPS. Abstrak Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu hal yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS. Berdasarkan hasil data yang didapatkan di lapangan yaitu SDN 4 Nagrikaler, diketahui bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa tergolong masih rendah, maka dari itu perlu adanya upaya dalam hal meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Maka peneliti mencoba menerapkan model cooperative learning tipe make a match yaitu model pembelajaran saling mencocokan soal dan jawaban dalam suasana yang menyenangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di SDN 4 Nagrikaler terutama fokus pada kelas VA dengan jumlah 26 siswa. Terdiri dari 14 siswa laki-laki dan 12 siswa perempuan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan model spiral Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart, yang terdiri dari proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Dari penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan, data menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang terjadi pada setiap siklusnya. Pada siklus I nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 55,9 dengan presentase 42,3% masih jauh dari KKM yang ditentukan yaitu 70 hanya 11 dari 26 siswa yang tuntas. Pada siklus ke II mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 81,1 dengan presentase 88,4%, sebanyak 23 siswa sudah mencapai KKM dan yang belum tuntas sebanyak 3 siswa. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe make a match dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar. Abstract

This research is motivated by the low problem-solving ability of students caused by the use of the learning model used by the teacher which is dominated by lectures and memorizing formulas. The Problem Based Learning (PBL) model is expected to be a solution to these problems. The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is an increase in problem-solving skills that get a better Problem Based Learning (PBL) model than students who get conventional learning, and to find out whether there is an effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on problem-solving abilities. This research is a quasi-experimental type of research with a non-equivalent control group design. The sample in this study were students of class Va and Vb at a public elementary school in Purwakarta. The research instrument used is in the form of description and documentation questions. Problem solving ability test instrument to obtain pretest and posttest quantitative data of students. Based on the research results obtained, it shows that: 1) The improvement of the problem solving abilities of elementary school students who receive the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model is better than students who receive conventional learning; 2) There is an effect of applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to increasing the problem solving abilities of elementary school students. Thus the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model is recommended by the author as an alternative learning to improve problem solving skills. Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of Civic Education (Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan or PKn) within the cultural environment of a boarding school to enhance students’ character development, particularly in terms of responsibility and discipline. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study method, the research focuses on a single boarding school as the primary subject. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews with teachers, students, and the principal, as well as document analysis. The findings reveal that Civic Education is not only delivered theoretically in the classroom but is also integrated into students’ daily lives through consistent habituation, school regulations, and exemplary behavior demonstrated by all members of the school community. The boarding school environment, which emphasizes discipline and independence, provides ample space for the internalization of character values, especially responsibility and discipline. These results indicate that a contextual approach to Civic Learning, embedded within a strong school culture, effectively reinforces character formation. Thus, the contextualized implementation of Civic Education in the cultural environment of a boarding school

Abstract

This article discusses the urgency of character education in shaping the morality of young citizens in the era of globalization and digitalization. Through literature review and questionnaires involving 18 respondents, key values such as honesty, responsibility, discipline, empathy, religiosity, and nationalism emerged as essential. While most respondents recognize its importance, challenges such as the influence of social media, lack of role models, and the absence of contextual approaches hinder effective implementation. The study emphasizes that character education must be a collaborative effort involving families, schools, and communities, and be integrated with civic education. Character education should go beyond value transmission and aim to holistically shape students' personalities across cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. When implemented reflectively and contextually, character education becomes a vital strategy for developing a moral and adaptable young generation.
