Abstract

World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that more than 585 000 women per year died from childbirth. The maternal mortality rate (MMR) in 2012 according to SDKI amounted to 317 per 100,000 live births. Care of normal deliveries  is a clean and safe care during labor and  After birth and prevention of complications, especially post-partum bleeding, hypothermia and asphyxia, newborn. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and training of midwives Care of normal deliveries  with the implementation of the standard normal delivery care in health centers Private Practice Midwive Cambai Prabumulih working area 2017. The design of this study is analytical survey with Cross Sectional approach. The population in this study were all midwives in Private Practice Midwives (CPM) Cambai health center Prabumulih working area of ​​2017 amounted to 30 and using purposive sampling. This research instrument used questionnaires and check list. Data analysis was performed by univariate and Bivariate. The results of this study show from 30 midwives who did not get in the implementation of the standard of care of normal deliveries 16 people (53.3%), which have less knowledge of as many as 17 people (56.7%) midwives, who did not care labor training as many as 20 people (66.7%). The results of bivariate analysis using Chi square test statistic that compares the p value with the significance level α (0.05) of the incident which showed  relationship between knowledge Midwives where p value = 0.001, and significant relationship between normal birth care training  with the implementation of the standard of care of normal deliveries in which the p value = 0.019. Health workers in particular are advised to keep improving the processing Midwives Midwives against predetermined standards in the care of normal deliveries. Abstract

Low Birth Weight (LBW) is an infant born with a birth weight of less than 2500 grams regardless of gestation. Birth weight is the weight of the baby weighed in 1 hour after birth. (Depkes RI, 2009). Based on WHO and UNICEF data, in 2013 about 222 million babies were born in the world, of which 16% were born with low birth weight. The percentage of LBW in developing countries is 16.5% twice that of developed countries (7%) (Scholar Unand, 2014). The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship between anemia and Smoking Habit in Pregnant Women with LBW occurrence in General Hospital Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang Year 2016. This research use analytical survey method with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all mothers who gave birth monthly in Midwifery Installation of Dr. General Hospital Mohammad Hoesin Palembang in 2016 as many as 315 respondents. The sample of this research is some of mothers who give birth enough month in Midwifery Installation of Dr. General Hospital Mohammad Hoesin Palembang Year 2016 as many as 315 respondents. ". From the results of bivariate analysis of anemic respondents with the occurrence of LBW obtained statistical test X2 count = 23.22 which means there is a significant relationship between anemia with the incidence of BBLR. Respondents smoking with the occurrence of LBWR obtained statistical test X2 count = 41.20 which means there is a relationship Meaningful between smoking and LBW incidence. From the results of this study is expected that this research can be a reference material and is a complete information and useful for the development of knowledge about LBW.

Abstract

German is a foreign language subject that is in high school level. In learning a foreign language a person will not be able to communicate if not master the language vocabulary that he learned well. Vocabulary has an important role because it appears in every language skill. Understanding vocabulary is very important in every language study. This research was conducted to find out the learning of vocabulary in German writing skill through application of Kimspiel games. The subject of this research is the students at the 10th grade Bahasa in the SMAN 3 Lamongan. The purpose of this study was to describe the learning process of students on vocabulary learning in writing skills using the Kimspiel games. This is a descriptive qualitative research. The data collected using research instrument. The instruments that used in this research is observation form. The observation form used to asses student activity. Based on the results of the study, the results of the assessment on the observation sheet showed the percentage at the first observation is 63.6%, the percentage at the second observation is 88.6% and percentage at the third observation is 97.7%, student response to learning vocabulary is positive. This is evidenced by the dominant response from  student response agreed with the application of kimspiel games for learning German language vocabulary. The application of Kimspiel games can add the vocabulary of learners in German language writing skills.   Keywords: Kimspiel, Vocabulary

Abstract

Abstract: Problem formulation in this research is how is the process of care services for children in Putri Aisyiyah Orphanage in Kampar area ?. This study aims to explore the process of caring for children in the Putri Aisyiyah Orphanage in the Kampar area. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The informant selection technique in this study uses a purposive sampling technique. The informants in this study are people who are involved and have the information needed in the study, because the informants are people who are more knowledgeable about the issues to be studied. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation, and triangulation of child care services at the Putri Aisyiyah Orphanage in the Kampar area. This study consists of one variable, namely the indicators (1) self-esteem, (2) meeting expectations, (3) improvement, (4) foresight, (5) improvement, (6) attention, (7) empowerment. The subjects of this study were 3 people consisting of 1 core informant and 2 control informants. From the results of research conducted, it can be concluded that: the care service process that appears there are only 5 aspects, while 2 aspects do not appear because it is not found in the service process provided by caregivers for children in the Putri Aisyiyah Orphanage in the Kampar area. Implementation of care services that often arise are caregivers instructing children to directly work on duty picket, giving advice to foster children who do not want to work when mutual cooperation, caregivers provide improvement by listening to complaints foster children, caregivers use technology as much as possible, and caregivers give rewards to children foster achievers. In this care process the most important thing in care is the chairman of Putri Aisyiyah Orphanage, secretary, treasurer, nurturing section, education section, and skills section.Key Words: Service, Caregivers, Children

Abstract

This article is based on the results of a mini-research that aims to describe the religious tolerance of Minangkabau and Batak ethnic students at Xaverius Bukittinggi High School in the academic year 2019/2020. This research uses a quantitative approach. The steps in this research are conducting preliminary studies, literature studies, data collection, data analysts and conclusions. The population of this study, XII Bukittinggi ethnic group Minangkabau and Batak ethics XII grade students. Sampling with purposive sampling technique. Data collection using a questionnaire, data analysis techniques with normality, homogeneity, and T-test. The results of this study illustrate the religious tolerance of ethnic Minangkabau and Batak students dominated by the tolerant category. There was no significant difference in religious tolerance between ethnic Minangkabau and Batak students. However, differences in religious tolerance scores were found between ethnic Minangkabau students and Batak students on the aspect of maintaining independence in practising religion and respecting the practice of diversity. The Batak students are a minority population in Xaverius Bukittinggi high school while the majority are Minangkabau students population. Development of religious tolerance Students of the Minangkabau ethnic group and the Batak ethnic group at Xaverius High School tend to be equally tolerant and potentially more tolerant when the curriculum and education at the school are carried out properly. The results of this study can be used as consideration for developing religious-spiritual strength counselling and arranging cross-cultural counselling and guidance programs in high schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to reveal the locus of control with the relation to the student’s cheating behavior in grade 10  of high shcool  Padang Ganting. This research use a descriptive correlational method. The research is conducted on students in grade 10 high school  Padang Ganting 2011-2012.as many as 439 from the populations, samples were taken by using a technique kurtosis sumpling random sample that produce 148 person. The instrument that used in this research is the locus of control scale by Rotter and cheating behavior questionnaire with likert scale and the analyzed using pearson correlation techniques.The research revealed that generally the students have an external locus of control and cheating behavior enough category. Besides, it also found a negative correlation between the score of locus of control and cheating behavior. The implication of this research is an internal locus of control is needed to reduce cheating behavior.

Abstract

Metode kontrasepsi hormonal merupakan salah satu metode kontrasepsi yang memiliki efektifitas yang tinggi. Kontrasepsi hormonal dengan menggunakan suntik yang paling sering digunakan adalah DMPA. Mekanisme kerja dari kontrasepsi suntikan DMPA adalah mencegah ovulasi.Banyak akseptor kontrasepsi suntik yang mengeluhkan adanya perubahan tekanan darah, hal ini karena banyak akseptor yang memakai kontrasepsi suntik dalam jangka waktu yang lama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara lama pemakaian kontrasepsi suntik (Depo Medroksi Progesteron Asetat) DMPA dengan perubahan tekanan darah di Puskesmas Prabumulih Barat. Desain penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif korelasi dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 69 orang, dengan menggunakan Total Sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji Kendall Tau (Ï„). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adahubungan antara lama pemakaian kontrasepsi suntik (Depo Medroksi Progesteron Asetat) DMPA dengan perubahan tekanan darah di Puskesmas Prabumulih Barat dengan nilai p = 0,025 (p < 0,05).Diharapkan akseptor KB suntik hendaknya banyak mengikuti informasi-informasi kesehatan, melalui media massa, elektronika dan media cetak serta penyuluhan oleh kader atau petugas kesehatan tentang metode kontrasepsi suntik dan efek sampingnya supaya ibu tahu kontrasepsi apa yang terbaik untuk dirinya

Abstract

Communication ability need to be improved so that students can solve math problems well. This study aims to determine 1) the completeness of learning mathematics communication 7th grade students with experiential learning models; 2) the influence of Indonesian language ability on mathematical communication ability; 3) mathematical communication ability of students who have very high Indonesian language ability; 4) mathematical communication ability of students who have high Indonesian language ability; 5) mathematical communication ability of students who have medium Indonesian language ability. This study uses a combination method. The population in this study is 7th grade students in one of the junior high schools in the city of Semarang year 2018/2019. Sampling by random sampling technique and subject selection with purposive sampling technique. The results show that (1) mathematical communication ability of 7th grade students with experiential learning models can achieve learning completeness; (2) there is an influence of Indonesian language ability on students' mathematical communication ability in the experiential learning model; (3) students with very high Indonesian language ability have been able to reach all indicators of written communication ability; (4) students with high Indonesian language ability have been able to reach all indicators of written mathematical communication ability even though there are still errors in making conclusions; (5) students with medium Indonesian language ability are only able to master two indicator of written mathematical communication ability.

Abstract

Kelapa sawit  sebagai tanaman yang diusahakan  masyarakat dii Kecamatann Kuantann Hilirr Seberangg, Kabupatenn Kuantann Singingii, menghadapi masalah serangan hama. Sebagian besar pohon kelapa sawitt terserang oleh hama kumbang badak (Oryctes rhinoceros Linn). Dampak serangan hama menyebabkan penurunan produktivitas kelapa sawitt sangat drastis. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan dengan metode ceramah dan diskusi dengan petani. Materi ceramah bertujuan untuk memberi bekal kepada masyarakat tentang perlindungan tanaman kelapa sawit terhadap hama kumbang khususnya kumbang badak. Metode diskusi dilakukan dengan transfer ilmu shareing pengalaman dilapangan serta pengendalian. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta sudah mengetahui nama dari hama kumbang yang menyerang tanaman kelapa sawit. Peserta dapat memdedakan jenis-jenis kumbang yang berpotensi menjadi hama dan pengendalian hama kumbang badak. akan efektif apabila dilakukan oleh setiap petani kelapa dan dilaksanakan secara terus menerus sampai populasi hama dibawah ambang ekonomi.

Abstract

Rumah Atsiri Indonesia (RAI) as a tourist destination that carries the concept of integrated destination, has a mission to educate the public about the history of essential oils and essential plants that can be used for various purposes. In an effort to provide this information to all visitors, RAI is committed to providing comprehensive information to all visitors, both local and foreign tourists. The increasing number of foreign tourists requires RAI's human resources, especially educators, to improve their competence in English. The Community Service Programme (PKM) carried out by the English for Creative Industries Research Group from the D-3 English Study Programme, Vocational School, UNS, with the title Improving the Quality of Human Resources at Rumah Atsiri Indonesia through Bilingual Training Modules Arrangement, is expected to be a solution to this problem. This PKM activity is carried out in several stages of work: first, the analysis of partner needs; second, the process of translating existing modules into English; third, the arrangements of modules in two languages; and last, the overall program evaluation. The translation process refers to the stages of translation by Nida and Taber, as well as translation techniques by Molina and Albir. The results of the translation are then compiled in the form of bilingual modules that can be studied independently by RAI’s human resources. keywords: module, bilingual, translation
