ART HISTORY RESEARCH INTERESTS
Medieval art and religion in western and northern Europe, illuminated manuscripts, visual depictions of monsters and the macabre, the intersection of mythology and folklore with material culture, philosophical and cultural 'Otherness,' private devotion and public ritual, classical art and archaeology, monsters and the macabre in ancient Greece and Rome, classical funerary art, museum accountability and decolonization.
