Obiettivi del paper: Il paper propone un modello concettuale di supporto al processo decisionale ... more Obiettivi del paper: Il paper propone un modello concettuale di supporto al processo decisionale dell'Organo di Governo territoriale, che fornisce un quadro rappresentativo della varietà di aspettative, prospettive e interessi presenti nel contesto di riferimento, consentendo una maggiore consapevolezza degli interventi volti a risolvere le problematiche urbane. Metodologia: Il modello proposto, basato sulla tecnica di Aspect Based Sentiment Analysis (ABSA), attraverso la lente del corpus teorico dell'Approccio Sistemico Vitale (ASV), è capace di mettere in luce i sentimenti degli attori presenti in un sistema vitale dinamico e complesso quale è il territorio. Risultati: Il lavoro perviene all' esposizione di valutazioni condivise sui livelli di "sentiment" percepiti dalla comunità rispetto ad un punto di interesse urbano considerato, guidando l'Organo di Governo territoriale nel porre in essere le condizioni per l' emergere di consonanza di contesto. Limiti della ricerca: Le logiche delineate in una prima sperimentazione, condotta esclusivamente su un punto urbano, dovranno essere estese ad un' area d'interesse e ad un modello più sofisticato, per compiere analisi territoriali più accurate. Implicazioni pratiche: Il modello si presenta come un valido supporto al processo di decision making territoriale, proponendo valutazioni condivise riguardo le potenzialità e le criticità latenti legate ai contesti urbani da cui trarre future linee d' azione. Originalità del paper: L' originalità del paper risiede nel combinare, in un unico modello, l'ASV, lente interpretativa della realtà, con l'ABSA, adattando quest'ultima al contesto territoriale. Methodology: The proposed model, based on Aspect Based Sentiment Analysis (ABSA), aims to highlight, through the theoretical lens of the Viable Systems Approach (VSA), the sentiments of all the actors involved in a dynamic and complex viable system such as the territory.

The aim of this study is to propose a new approach to decision making based on information variet... more The aim of this study is to propose a new approach to decision making based on information variety endowment and configuration. The research adopts an exploratory methodology and a qualitative approach, deepening and analyzing both academic and non-academic studies. The study found the existence of general characteristics in the dynamics of human behavior and in that of social phenomena, characters that lead to specific paths of decision and action based on information variety endowment of decision makers. The developed conceptualization needs verification through appropriate tools and tested in empirical settings. The study can support the decision-making process of individuals, organizations, and whole societies - understood as viable systems - in the current dynamic and unpredictable context. This is the first work to propose an absential approach for the framing of managerial problems, recognizing that current methodologies are not capable of effectively responding to uncertainty and unpredictability of the melted result of economic, political, and social environments interaction. Eventually, this is the first work to engage in a mathematical demonstration of decision-making essentiality.

The Dynamic of Informative Varieties in the Processes of Decision Making

Decision-making in top management is necessary, and continuously influences a given context. The ... more Decision-making in top management is necessary, and continuously influences a given context. The process used by decision-makers is usually based on uncompleted data, and does not have a scientific basis. Decision-making studies, including recent works from the field of psychology, especially regarding the notion of subjectivity, use complicated and laborious procedures of calculation, where reliable and easily available data is necessary during this process. However, today it seems clear that organized working structures cannot make their decisions on sole calculation, for it is necessary to understand the nature of the elements, which become part of this process. So which factors bring to a right or wrong choice, and which knowledge-elements contribute to determine a safe solution? The Viable System Approach, VSA, (L'Approccio Sistemico Vitale), with the parameters of consonance and resonance, measures the appropriateness of a decision in a problem-solving context. This model bases its dynamics on the following concepts: system variation of information (V), categorical values (C) (strong beliefs) and patterns of synthesis (S). This paper, after a short introduction regarding basic VSA concepts, then concentrates on the concept of decision-making in complex contexts. The proposed model analyses the level of knowledge perceived in a knowledge-acquiring situation and allows us to identify possible paths of resonance.

Abstract Framing within the service-dominant logic view, this paper deals with the emergence of n... more Abstract Framing within the service-dominant logic view, this paper deals with the emergence of new market spaces conceptualized as new contexts of use. This work aims to describe the emergence of a new value cocreation context from brokerage and exaptation strategies. By filling a literature gap, the paper describes why and how the service-dominant logic and brokerage strategy, i.e., a strategy brokering different cultural domains and contexts of use, and their variant exaptation, i.e., a strategy brokering a technological domain featured by a specific use with a completely different context of use, are useful for framing the emergence of a new market space. The paper's second aim is to draw the configuration of firm cognitive endowment—the T-shaped model—potentially enabling brokerage/exaptation strategies. The paper highlights the features a firm cognitive endowment should possess in terms of in-depth competencies and dynamic capabilities to trigger new and potentially valuable contexts of use.

Il contributo, attraverso una rilettura, talvolta critica, della letteratura concernente la temat... more Il contributo, attraverso una rilettura, talvolta critica, della letteratura concernente la tematica della complessità, propone una interpretazione della stessa utile alla analisi delle dinamiche sociali. Dopo aver argomentato sulla necessità di concepire, nell'ambito delle scelte sociali, la complessità come relativa ad un soggetto percettore e fortemente influenzata dal contesto di riferimento, prova a riportare considerazioni e riflessioni tipiche della economia d'impresa a schemi più generali. Distinguendo tra una complessità strutturale ed una sistemica, vengono individuati gli elementi utili per una interpretazione "sociologica" del concetto di non linearità. La costruzione concettuale realizzata sembra contribuire in modo significativo alla possibilità di leggere i caratteri della complessità emergente ed a ricercare le direttrici per un recupero di stabilità. L'esplicitazione di un circuito virtuoso, proprio della dinamica che lega lo sviluppo di consuetudini a partire da leggi ed attraverso norme e regole, contribuisce a chiarire le condizioni che concorrono alla perdita di stabilità dei sistemi. Un lungo esempio riferito agli accadimenti riconducibili al cosiddetto "sistema finanziario" chiude il contributo e contribuisce al chiarimento dei concetti presentati. Parole chiave: complessità, sistema vitale, varietà informativa, dotazione di conoscenza. The contribution, through a re-reading, sometimes critical, of the literature on the issue of the complexity, proposes a interpretation of the same useful to the analysis of social dynamics. After argued on the need to devise, in the context of social choices, the complexity as on a subject recipient and strongly influenced by the context of reference, try to restore considerations and reflections typical of business economics in more general schemes. Distinguishing between a structural complexity and a systemic, we can identify the elements useful for a "sociological" interpretation of the concept of non-linearity. The conceptual construction made seems to contribute in a significant way to the possibility to read the digits of the complexity emerging, and to seek the guidelines for the recovery of stability. The evidence of a virtuous circle, devising the dynamic that binds the development of practices from laws and through rules and rules, contributes to clarify the conditions that contribute to the loss of stability of the systems. A long final example, based on the events related to socalled "Financial System', closes the contribution and contributes to the clarification of the concepts presented.

The aim of this chapter is to seek a leit motif that can be justified in sociological terms, unde... more The aim of this chapter is to seek a leit motif that can be justified in sociological terms, underpinning evolving trends in the concepts of bene culturale and culture over time. The evolutionary conception of cultural goods is identified in three specific phases from a prevailing view of cultural goods strongly centred on their material characteristics, to a more dynamic view that abandons to a certain extent the reductionist approach, up to a more recent view in which the conception of cultural value evolves in the vision of the intangible and toward a service logic. In this changing view, the value of a cultural good is conveyed by the value of use derived from its setting as a systemic value that is achieved in terms of service. A scheme of synthesis is devised to summarise the observed evolutionary pathway as a shift from a preliminary formalised proposal centred on an objective view of cultural value, towards a proposal open to multiple experiential pathways in the enjoinment of cultural heritage.

T... more Being able to look at something in more than one way is crucial in all branches of mathematics. This fact, however, is often disregarded. Learning to view the world differently implies through a change in perspective, that can have a relevant impact on the capability to solve problems (see [2]). Based on our experiences of Wolfram Mathematica™, we propose an approach to identify the locus, and its related conic section, of all the points that trisect an arc of circle having its center on the axis which passing through the medium point of the chord subtended by the arc. In this paper, it is shown that it is possible, without any conflict with the proved impossibility of the classical trisection of the angle, to trisect an arc that opposes the angle at the center of a circle, using only a straightedge and a compass. After setting out the conditions for the evaluation of a conic, first, by using Mathematica™, we numerically determine that the curve is a hyperbola; then we prove that, given any generic segment, it is always possible to identify a hyperbola locus of points which lies on the intersections of the arcs of circumference having the center on the axis of the segment. Knowing that when someone looks at a Math problem, it is very common that they try to "figure it out" in their head before writing anything down, two possible lines of research are presented with the conclusions: the first one concerning the logical justification that the revenue place is a conic, and the second one connected with the need to explain how, and if, the segment size may alter the value of the minimum angle determined by the displacement of the center of the circle toward the infinite.

Il presente lavoro si propone di approfondire il concetto di resilienza di individui e organizzazioni al fine di comprendere meglio, in termini di vitalità, quali siano le determinanti della competitività di quelle imprese che operano in condizioni di incertezza e cambiamento. Metodologia. Per l’analisi sono state prese in considerazione la visione sistemica e alcuni dei concetti fondamentali (FCs) dell’Approccio Sistemico Vitale (ASV), con l’intento di associarli alla necessità di un costante cambiamento migliorativo verso cui pare debbano inevitabilmente tendere le organizzazioni di oggi. In particolare si è cercato di capire perché la capacità di essere vitali differenzia le organizzazioni che sopravvivono dalle altre a prescindere dalla propria resilienza (di struttura o di sistema che sia). Risultati. Le propositions che sono derivate dal ragionamento seguito sono le seguenti: • PN.1: La Resilienza è analizzabile in ottica sistemica, anche come tratto distintivo della vitalità. • PN.2: L’approccio sistemico consente di interpretare i comportamenti resilienti come distintivi dell’agire vitale, perché fornisce loro un significato preciso legato al fine di chi li attua. • PN.3: L’adattamento, a differenza della resilienza, può esprimere elementi di continuità e non soltanto di estemporaneità. • PN.4: La Sopravvivenza, a differenza della Resilienza, riguarda la capacità di un sistema di affrontare con successo anche le situazioni che non presentano carattere di avversità. • PN.5: Le determinanti che favoriscono la resilienza rappresentano un sub-set piuttosto contenuto delle determinanti che attengono alla competitività di un’impresa sistema vitale. • PN.6: La competitività di un’impresa sistema vitale è una questione di vitalità Limiti della ricerca. Il presente lavoro è esclusivamente concettuale e necessita per questo di un approfondimento empirico per confermare o meno le riflessioni prodotte. Inoltre, nonostante lo sforzo profuso nell’approfondimento bibliografico, si è scelto in questa occasione di privilegiare una visione prettamente sistemica di analisi dei comportamenti. Implicazioni pratiche. Le riflessioni sui concetti di resilienza e di vitalità possono agevolare la riorganizzazione di alcune prassi manageriali delle aziende che vivono in contesti particolarmente turbolenti e tendenti al cambiamento al fine di organizzare meglio il proprio lavoro e pianificare opportunamente le strategie e raggiungere performance più elevate, sapendo che l’incertezza è sempre più frequente e la necessità di adeguarsi alle cangianti condizioni di contorno ormai una cosa cui abituarsi (per restare competitivi e sopravvivere nel lungo periodo). Originalità del lavoro. Nonostante il termine resilienza sia usato e abusato in diversi contesti, in ambito manageriale risulta ancora poco dibattuto e l’impostazione sistemiche data all’analisi lavoro non era stata ancora proposta; il presente lavoro cerca di fornire un contributo ulteriore al tema della competitività di impresa
