The article presents and characterizes items made of bone, undeterminate materials and other sources from the Golden Horde Uvek site based on preserved archival materials. All the finds received by the museum of the Saratov Research Archival Commission, but were subsequently decommissioned and lost for research studies. However, the Book of record of items of the Saratov Research Archival Commission museum, the Commission’s archives (their main part is now kept in the collections of the State Archive of the Saratov region) and some published works have preserved small data on the finds discovered. This information was systematized; the description of the wares was supplemented with indications to the places and dates of the finds, the persons who provided the artefacts, as well as the sources where they were recorded. The objects indicated in the provided archival data were discovered in 1891-1915 at the Uvek site.

Crimea has always been at the crossroads of cultures, civilizations, dialogue of cultures. At the beginning of the 21th century, the representatives of over 175 nations belonging to different confessions lived in the Crimea. In different periods of the Crimean history alongside with Orthodox churches and Muslim mosques, churches of other religions and confessions existed. Scientists pay attention to both national structure and poly confessionalism of this region. The presented work deals with the key points of Catholicism evolution in the Crimea. Отправлявшиеся в цинский (1644-1911) Китай христианские миссионеры за редкими исключениями становились «невозвращенцами»-таковы были условия их службы, где в рамках так называемых «Правил» (利瑪竇規矩; Ли Мадоу гуйцзюй) лидера первой миссии иезуитов в Китае еще во времена династии Мин (1368-1644) Маттео Риччи (Matteo Ricci; 利瑪竇; Ли Мадоу; 1552-1610) они служили при дворе в рамках концепции принесения интеллектуальной дани новым повелителям [6, с. 163-167]. Иезуиты, знаменитые «математики короля» (mathématiciens du Roy), как мы для простоты будем называть всех придворных интеллектуальных данников, потому что в основной их состав входили именно члены ордена Иисуса, принимали китайские имена и получали придворные должности, а на родине зачастую оставались лишь строчками в письмах и донесениях, оседавших в архивах Ватикана, орденов и в библиотеках. Цель настоящей статьи не состоит в исчерпывающем исследовании библиографии жизни и творчества Джузеппе Кастильоне-Лан Шинина (郞世寧; 1688-1766), работавшего при дворе трех маньчжурских императоров в XVIII в. (достаточно полный обзор см. в монографии автора статьи [4, с. 108-111]. Нам бы хотелось ответить на вопрос, как и когда Европа узнала произведения этого мастера «линейного метода» сяньфа (線法), баталиста, портретиста, пейзажиста, анималиста, архитектора и лидера сино-европейского искусства, когда специалисты сумели идентифицировать этого итальянского живописца, поняв, что китайский придворный художник Лан Шинин-это не кто иной как светский брат ордена иезуитов Джузеппе Кастильоне, успевший до отбытия в Китай выполнить несколько весьма высокопрофильных заказов в Генуе и Коимбре [20, р. 70-87].

The long-term INEL project (2016–2033), carried out at the University of Hamburg, aims to develop digital linguistic corpora and supporting infrastructure for a number of selected languages of Northern Eurasia. At present, corpora of Selkup, Kamas and Dolgan are being created. The project builds upon existing materials from various archive sources, including the Selkup archive of Angelina I. Kuzmina preserved at the University of Hamburg, Kamas audio recordings from the archives in Tartu and Helsinki, and Dolgan recordings provided by the House of the Cultures of Taimyr Peninsula. All the texts in the corpora are provided with a phonological transcription, morphological interlinear glossing, free translations; selected subsets also bear additional annotations for semantic and syntactic features, information status of referents, borrowings and code-switching. The corpora are intended for typologically aware grammatical research but may also be of interest for a wider audience. A number of satellite information resources are also being developed, contributing towards a more efficient research infrastructure.

This paper is dedicated to analysis of principles of compilation of Chinese category dictionaries‖ and their influence to first Russian dictionaries of Chinese and Manchu  languages, compiled in the XVIII th. century. This analysis is based on four hand-written
dictionaries, kept in Saint-Petersburg archives.

This volume gathers together articles dealing with Finnic minority languages and language contacts. The first part presents topics focusing on phonology, morphology, morphosyntax, syntax as well as lexical relations. The second part of the book consists of non-peer-reviewed reports on archived and digital Finnic minority language materials as well as two field trip reports to Finnic-speaking or formerly Finnic-speaking areas. This collection is based on the work carried out during the project “Language change in multilingual Finnic”, funded by the Kone Foundation. Most articles are based on presentations given at a symposium organized at the XII International Congress for Finno-Ugric Studies in Oulu in August 2015.

The ceramic materials from Uvek settlement of the Golden Horde period based on preserved archival materials are published and briefly characterized in the article. The described complexes and individual items have been collected by the Saratov Research Archival Commission and Istarkhet Research Society of Regional Ethnography. They were subsequently decommissioned and became lost for science. However, small and often very scarce information on the discovered items has preserved in the Record of museum items of the Saratov Research Archival Commission, and in the Commission’s archives (their major part is presently deposited in the State Archive of Saratov Oblast) and a number of publications. The author attempted to generalize and systematize this information, supplementing the descriptions of ceramic materials with references to the place and time of their discovery, details of the person from whom the items were received, and documents in which they have been mentioned. The items listed in the archival materials specified in the appendices were apparently discovered at Ukek settlement in 1891-1921.

This paper is dedicated to analysis of two dictionaries, kept in Manuscript department of Russian national library. First of them is Manchu-Russian dictionary by Fyodor Baksheev, compiled in the 1776. Second is “Manchu-Chinese lexicon, translated into Russian” — ManchuChinese-Russian dictionary by unknown author. “Manchu-Chinese lexicon, translated into Russian” is compiled in appliance to category dictionaries- dictionaries type in classical China. Category dictionaries compiled of chapters, contained words, consolidated by one meaning. One of first category dictionaries is a famous dictionary “Erya”, compiled in Jin period. First bilingual category dictionaries were compiled in the XI century. There were dictionaries of khitan, tangut and jurchen languages. There are no mentions “Manchu-Chinese lexicon, translated into Russian” in sinologist works. Detailed analysis shows us that this dictionary is based on first Chinese- Manchu dictionary “Textual mirror of Chinese and Manchu voices”, which is category dictionary too. In Manchu-Russian dictionary by Fyodor Baksheev words are grouped in alphabet order, what is more comfortable for European users. It was consider that despite this dictionary has not categorised chapters like in category dictionaries, it is obviously that category dictionaries made large influence on Baksheevs work. The evidence of that is that every meaning and its denominative are grouped in special order. Manchu-Russian dictionary by F. Baksheev had this tendency too. Also, in appliance to similar décor of both dictionaries manuscripts it is possible that thee were made by same group of people.

Статья посвящена исследованию рукописи «Книга Сышу или Шан Лунь июу Китайскаго кунфу-дзыскаго закону. Филозофические разные разсуждения. Переведена на российский язык Яковом Волковым», которая представляет собой первый перевод конфуцианского канонического текста «Луньюй», выполненный в XVIII в. Целью исследования являлось выявление специфики рассма-триваемой рукописи. В основу исследования лег сравнительный анализ рукописи с оригинальной китайской версией, составленной Чжу Си. В ходе исследования установлено, что в рукописи Волкова присутствует ряд существенных отличий от канонической версии «Луньюя». Наиболее вероятной причиной этих различий представляется то, что перевод был выполнен с неизвестной и, судя по всему, утраченной версии «Луньюя». This paper is about research of the manuscript "Book Sishu or Shang Lunyu, of Chinese confucianistic law. Translated by Jacob Volkov". This manuscript is a first Russian translation of confucianistic "Analects", made in the XVIIIth century. Reason of research was in learning of specifics of this translation. This research is based on comparative analyse of Volkovs translation with original version of "Analects", compiled by Zhu Xi. It was explain, that there a lot of differences between Volkovs translation and original variant of "Analects". There is a large possibility that J. Volkov translated "Analects" from unknown and, perhaps, lost version of this text.

This paper is dedicated to manuscript "Panshi zonglun",translated by I.Rossokhin in the XVIII century. Panshi zonglun (潘氏總論) is a little-know book of history of China, written in the XIVth century by Pan Rong (潘荣).Russian  translation of this text was never publish. Now it is kept in Saint-Petersburg Branch of Archive of Russian Academy of sciences

This paper is about manuscript “Chinese count Xue Wenqing thought about himself” (薛文清公要語篇 “Xue Wenqin thoughts chapters”). Author of this manuscript is Illarion Rossohin- one of first professional sinologists and manicurists in Russian. This manuscript is a translation of Xue Xuans book- neoconfucianistic philosopher of Ming dynasty. This thinker is absolutely unknown in Russia and European counties. This manuscript is exist in only one example, which is kept in Library of  Russian Academy of sciences.
