This study examines the potential impact of the Afrocentrism movement on Egyptian history through an analysis of the ideologies expressed in a range of textual sources made by ordinary individuals, regardless of whether they support or oppose the movement. The study aims to explore how different discourses can reflect distinct ideologies, shedding light on the importance of in-group and out-group expressions. By doing so, it aims to enhance our understanding of the possible threats that Egyptian history may face. The study adopts CDA to explore the hidden ideology behind proponent and opponent tweets. It indicates how each group described the positive us-group and the negative other-group by adopting van Dijk’s (2004,2008) and Cap’s (2013,2014) models. Using positive expressions to describe and praise the achievements of ancient Egypt when it relates to Africa in the proponents’ discourse and use many negative expressions for portraying and blamed Egyptians, Arabs, and Greeks for their history stolen and truth erasure as they think. On the other side, the opponents’ tweets not only contain irony, but they also write a lot of statements that refute the other-group’s claims. A concerted effort is being made to limit the spread of the other-group ideology by stopping organizing the conferences in Aswan, boycotting Cleopatra Netflix movies, and canceling Keven Hart’s concert. Stemming from van Dijk (1997), the different interests between the parties are the main reason for the changes in words used in tweets.

Game merupakan salah satu bentuk implementasi dari kemajuan teknologi di ranah media komunikasi. Game dapat digunakan sebagai media penyampai pesan dan memungkinkan adanya feedback dari pesan tersebut. Game juga didesain sebagai sarana hiburan untuk mengisi waktu luang yang dibuat universal. Namun kenyataannya, beberapa game yang dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat Indonesia tidak dibuat universal. Dalam beberapa game beraliran role-playing game (RPG) memuat konten kekerasan, seksual dan nilai-nilai lain yang tidak sesuai dengan nilai kultur lokal khususnya Indonesia. Meskipun mengandung perbedaan, banyak dari kalangan masyarakat Indonesia, khususnya di Kota Semarang masih tetap memainkan game RPG tersebut dengan berbagai motivasi atas dasar alasan dan tujuan tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor motivasi yang memengaruhi perilaku memainkan game RPG produksi luar negeri oleh pemain game Indonesia di Kota Semarang. Penelitian ekploratif kuantitatif ini menghimpun data primer dari 100 orang dengan kuesioner. Kemudian melalui perhitungan model Principal Component Analysis (PCA) diperoleh 4 kelompok faktor yang memuat 18 faktor yang diuji, dengan kata lain, seluruh faktor yang diuji lolos. Keseluruhan faktor tersebut memberikan kontribusi sebesar 65,367 persen terhadap motivasi memainkan game RPG asing tersebut. Social Factor adalah faktor motivasi yang paling berpengaruh. Diketahui faktor ini menyumbangkan sebanyak 40,663 %. Faktor ini dilabeli social factor karena terdiri dari motivasi untuk berinteraksi dan berkompetisi dengan pemain lain. motivasi ingin mengoptimalkan performa karakter dalam game motivasi ingin menjadi orang lain dan motivasi ingin memperoleh pengetahuan. Ketiga variabel utama dari faktor ini yakni teamwork, socializing dan relathionship termasuk dalam social gratification yaitu suatu bentuk gratifikasi yang mengarah pada keuntungan sosial apa yang didapatkan pemain game dengan memainkan game tertentu.

Psikiyatrik hastalıklar, tarih boyunca farklı yaklaşımlarla ele alınmış; kimi zaman bir kötülük sonucu gerçekleşen cezanın tezahürü olduğu düşünülerek bastırılıp yok edilmeye girişilmiş, nadiren ise bir hastalık olarak kabul edilerek tedavi edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Adil dünya inancının temel alındığı dine dayalı düşünce sistemi, ilgili hastalıkları bastırıp yok etme eğilimindedir. Bu düşünce sistemi tarafından çirkin kabul edilen fiziksel özelliklere sahip olduğu düşünülen; toplumsal normlara aykırı olduğu için ahlaki bozukluk ve sapkınlık gibi niteliklerle eşleştirilen kişi ve topluluklar tarih boyunca baskı ve şiddete maruz kalmıştır. Çoğunlukla hâkim değerler dizisinin savunucuları tarafından mizojini, antisemitizm ve ırkçılığın öncülleri olarak gerçekleştirilen eylemler, olumsuz değer atfedilen toplulukların ve bireylerin ötekileştirilerek toplum dışına itilmesine ya da yok edilmesine yol açmıştır. Çeşitli tarihi dönemlerde olumsuz değer atfedilen kişilerin başında modern ifadeyle engelliler ve özel olarak en dezavantajlı gruplardan biri olan psikiyatrik hastalar bulunmaktadır. Geleneksel önyargıların ve bu önyargıları devralıp sistematikleştiren modern tıbbın yakın geçmişteki konumunun yol açtığı düşünme biçimleri, pek çok kişinin psikiyatrik hastalara ilişkin olumsuz bir tutuma sahip olmasına yol açmıştır. Nedenselliğin ve aklın karşısında konumlandırılan ve ne yapacağı kestirilemediğinden tehlikeli addedilen bu kişiler ve aileleri, toplumsal hayata katılmakta zorlanmaktadır. Psikiyatrik hastaların damgalanarak toplumsal hayattan el çektirilmesi halen pek çokları tarafından olağan bir süreç olarak değerlendirilmekte; tecrit uygulamalarının bir sonraki aşaması olan öjeni isteği ise zaman zaman dile getirilmektedir. Bu uygulamaların savunucularının en temel savı, psikiyatrik hastaların işlemesi kaçınılmaz olan suçların önüne geçilmesinin toplum düzeninin sağlanması adına gerekliliğidir. Bu düşünce biçiminin evrensel insan hakları açısından pek çok sakıncalı tarafı bulunduğu açıktır. Bu çalışmada toplumda dezavantajlı konumu süregelen psikiyatrik hastalara ilişkin geleneksel medya ve yeni medyada yer alan olumsuz nitelikteki söylemlerin incelenerek, konuya dikkat çekilmesi ve Türkiye’den bir yeni medya sitesindeki entrylerin örneklem alınmasıyla literatüre katkı sağlanması amaçlanmıştır. Bu kapsamda, ilk olarak hastalık ve psikiyatrik hastalıklara bakış ile birlikte ötekinin imhası anlamına gelen öjenik politikalara ilişkin bilgiler aktarıldıktan sonra psikiyatrik hastalara ilişkin medyadaki söylemlere yer verilmiştir. Ekşi Sözlük sitesinde yer alan iki başlık; söylem analizi yöntemiyle incelenmiş; entrylerde yer alan söylemler ve meta-söylemler ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. Örneklemi 10 oluşturan “annesinin kafasını kesip tencereye koyan kadın” ve “28 Mayıs 2021 eşini öldürmüş kadının videosu” başlığında yer alan entrylerdeki söylemlerin analiz edilmesinden önce çeşitli kategorilerden oluşan birkaç tablo oluşturulmuştur. Bu tablodaki sayısal verilerden de yardım alınarak gerçekleştirilen analiz sonucunda genel değerlendirilmelere varılması amaçlanmıştır. İlgili entrylerde yazarların bahsi geçen olaylara yaklaşımları sırasında “ciddi” ve “esprili/alaycı” olup olmadığı, katil ve maktul hakkındaki görüşleri alt başlıklar altında sınıflandırılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Alt başlıklar halinde sınıflandırma, entrylerde rastlanan söylemlere göre belirlenmiş olup, yorumlamanın daha anlaşılır olabilmesi adına tercih edilmiştir. Başlıklarda sıklıkla konuya ilişkin haberler hakkında görüş bildirme söz konusu olduğundan, üzerine yorum yapılan geleneksel medyadan internet haber sitelerinde yer alan ilgili haberlerin söylemleri öncelikli olarak analiz edilmiş; ardından entrylerin analizine geçilmiştir. İlgili entrylerde öjeni ve tecrit uygulamalarını destekleyenlerin azımsanmayacak kadar çok sayıda olduğu görülmektedir. Bu entrylerin yazarlarının psikiyatrik hastaların sosyal hayattan tecridini veya öjeni isteğini haklılaştırmaya çalışmak için bir araç olarak medyada yer alan cinayet haberlerini kullandığı açıktır. İncelenen entrylerde mizah, hakaret, popüler kültür ve magazinleşme unsurlarının çoğunlukla bir arada kullanıldığı görülmektedir. Bu entrylerin öjeni ve tecrit uygulamalarını destekleyen entrylerle ortak noktası, hastayı bir insan olarak değerlendirmekten kaçınması; onun özelinde psikiyatrik hastaların tümünü nesneleştirmesi ya da insan altı bir sınıflandırmada kategorize etmesi olduğu söylenebilmektedir. Hastalık ya da cinayetin bir hastalık sonucu olduğu konusunda şüphe uyandırmayı amaçlayan entrylerde ise cinayet failleri, ağır ithamlarla suçlanmaktadır. Bu ağır ithamlar, çoğunlukla hakaret ve mizaha alet etmeyle bir arada bulunmaktadır. Olumlu olarak nitelendirilebilecek olan entrylere bakıldığında cinayetin sebebi için psikiyatrik hastalık vurgusu yapan ve dua/esenlik isteğinde bulunan entrylerin büyük bölümü gösterilebilir. Bu söylemlerin, çoğunlukla yaşanan cinayet vakalarının kaçınılmaz bir durum olduğunu öne sürdüğü ve hastanın tedavi sürecinin önemine dikkat çektiği görülmektedir. Çalışmada ortaya konan veriler ışığında, incelenen entrylerde psikiyatrik hastalara ilişkin olumsuz önyargıların azımsanamayacak kadar fazla sayıda olduğu; cinayet haberlerine ilişkin medyadaki yorumların ise genellemeler için sağlam bir zemin yarattığı görülmektedir. Konuya ilişkin genel bir çıkarım yapıldığında ise, geleneksel medyanın rolünün yeni medyada hakkında konuşulanı belirleme noktasında halen etkin olduğu görülmektedir. Bu bağlamda, bir haberin aktarımı sırasında kullanılan söylemin, bir konu hakkında sanal olarak konuşulan bir ortam yaratan Ekşi Sözlük gibi bir internet sitesindeki kullanıcıları; başka bir ifadeyle kamuoyunun görüşünü etkileyebileceğine bir örnek sayılabilir. Bu durum, yeni medyadaki ötekileştirici söylemlere olduğu kadar geleneksel medyada yer alan haberlerin dilinin önemi konusuna da bir kere daha dikkat çekilmesini gerektirmektedir.

Bu çalışma, yapay zekânın çeviri alanındaki kullanımının, çeviri etiği perspektifinden değerlendirilmesini amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma bu doğrultuda Dedalus Kitap’ın yapay zekâ programı DeepL aracılığıyla edebi eserler çevirmesinin ve müstear çevirmen isimleriyle  yayımlanmasının ardından, yayınevinin yayın yönetmeni Faruk Akhan ile gerçekleştirilen röportajdan elde edilen verilere odaklanmaktadır. Türkiye’de bir yayınevi temsilcisinin yapay zekâ destekli çeviri sürecini benimsemesi ve bu uygulamayı çeviri pratiklerinde yenilikçi bir adım olarak değerlendirmesi dikkat çekici bulunmuş ve bu durum, çalışmanın temel motivasyonunu oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada Eleştirel Söylem Çözümlemesi (ESÇ) yöntemi kullanılarak Teun van Dijk’ın sosyal-bilişsel yaklaşımı benimsenmiştir. Bu yaklaşım, metinleri makroyapı, süperyapı ve mikroyapı olarak üç analiz düzeyinde incelemeyi mümkün kılmakta ve böylece metinlerdeki ideolojik ve etik unsurların sistematik bir şekilde ortaya çıkarılmasını sağlamaktadır. İnceleme sonucunda, yayın yönetmeni Faruk Akhan’ın yapay zekâ destekli çeviri sürecine ilişkin değerlendirmelerinin, çeviri etiği bağlamında olumlu bir perspektif yansıttığı sonucuna varılmıştır. Ancak, röportajda dile getirilen bilgiler ışığında, yapay zekânın yazın çevirisinde kullanımının özellikle ‘çeviride şeffaflık’, ‘veri gizliliği’, ‘veri kaynağı’ ve ‘çevirmenin rolü’ gibi konularda gelecekte etik sorunlara yol açabileceği öngörülmüştür. Bu sorunlar yapay zekânın insan denetimi olmadan metinleri işleme biçimi ve çeviri sürecindeki otomasyonun sınırlarıyla ilişkilendirilmiştir. Araştırma, yapay zekânın yazın çevirisindeki rolünü etik perspektiften değerlendirerek, bu alandaki literatüre katkı sunmayı hedeflemektedir. Elde edilen bulgular, yapay zekâ ve çeviri etiği ilişkisinin daha kapsamlı bir şekilde tartışılması gerektiğini ortaya koymaktadır.

This article emphasises the need to devote more attention to concepts and theories in critical discourse studies (CDS). We are particularly eager to emphasise that CDS theory of the second decade of 2000s – often known as the post-crisis era or as the period of ‘late neoliberalism’ – faces a number of challenges that are both real world (social) and academic in nature. On the one hand, CDS theory must be reconsidered from the point of view of socio-political challenges and the necessity to tackle new (public and private) discourses as well as their trajectories that no longer undergo the once long-standing socio-political or politico-economic dynamics. On the other hand, we see the need for embracing new ways of theorising and conceptualising discourse in late modernity in the wider landscape of the social theories and their engagement with discourse. In discourse analysis, the method is determined according to the topic and the context
adressed by the researcher. Therefore, it isn't possible to talk about an all to apply
discourse analysis method. The tension between the purpose and method of discourse has
been tried to be overcome with many different theories. Yet, even on the denition of
discourse, there isn't any consensus. A common analysis method for many disciplines,
discourse, different denitions of which are also reected in practice. Although many
different methods, from a few-item to thirty-item lists, have been suggested on how to
handle the object of analysis, the basic dynamics are almost constant. We attained four
sets of concepts being fundamental to all types of discourse by examining more than two
hundred sources. The analysis of discourse is directly related to concepts such as
language and communication, subject and society, power and authority, and ideology.
Many other basic concepts can also be evaluated under these titles. For example, concepts
such as "structure, text, meaning, style, context" can be evaluated under the title of
Language and Communication. Or concepts such as "prohibition, taboo, class, politics,
state" can be considered under the title of Power and Authority. The increasingly intricate
structure of discourse analysis, particularly at the beginner level, transforms into a multilayered
theoretical problem that the analyst must tackle. The aim of the article is to provide
a taxonomically easy guide for basic level analysis.

Uno de los puntos centrales de la reforma educativa implementada en la década del 90 en nuestro país fue la actualización de los contenidos de las distintas asignaturas. En lo que se refiere al área de Lengua y Literatura en particular, existió un desplazamiento desde el conocimiento del sistema lingüístico hacia los aspectos del uso del lenguaje. Entre los diversos aportes tomados en cuenta para este cambio en los contenidos, un importante lugar lo ocupó la lingüística textual. En efecto, al superar los límites oracionales, esta corriente brindaba un marco adecuado para trabajar con los textos en uso en concordancia con la nueva perspectiva adoptada.

Concluye que en la coyuntura histórico social en que se ubica el discurso estudiado, la  ideología  de  mercado sostiene que la  economía  es la  base  material que  sostiene  a  la  sociedad  y  tiene  como  meta  el  crecimiento económico que asegura la libertad. En el sermón estudiado concluyen los investigadores el discurso religioso anima a participar en el sector productivo como empresarios y se pondera la libertad económica y la superación mediante el trabajo.

This report analyzes the murder case of Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat (Brigadier J) by Inspector General Ferdy Sambo through a philosophical approach and critical thinking. Using a case study method and a qualitative approach, this report dissects the dynamics of narrative construction that was initially formed by the police institution and how the public, through the encouragement of critical thinking, was able to uncover the facts behind the fabrication. Theories of truth of knowledge (correspondence, coherence, and pragmatism) and the concept of thinking errors (confirmation bias, authority bias, and availability heuristic) are used to explain why the initial narrative was easily believed by the public. This study emphasizes the importance of critical thinking in distinguishing between facts and manipulation, and recommends the need for reform in law enforcement institutions to maintain integrity and accountability.

Critical discourse studies (hereinafter: CDS) encompass theories, methods, and practices that facilitate the critical analysis of social inequality and the (mis)use of social power, which are constructed, (re)produced, or contested through discourse. CDS began to be used as an alternative to the generally accepted name "critical discourse analysis" (CDA), as the latter suggested that it was a specialized method within discourse analysis. Precisely this terminological intervention suggests that there is not one theory and method within CDS, but rather a multitude of them that share a critical approach to researching the dialectical relationship between discourse and society. Therefore, it is better to discuss CDS as a program direction, a school, or a paradigm that originates primarily in linguistics and is developed through a combination of critically oriented linguistic, humanistic, and social theories. Due to its inherent inter- and transdisciplinary orientation, CDS is also referred to as the "social theory of discourse." Because CSDs are focused on exposing power structures in society to help solve social problems through their practical action, they have a "teleological commitment to justice, democracy, equality, and fairness", and they are said to be discourse studies with an attitude.

Kritičke studije diskursa (dalje: KSD; eng. Critical Discourse Studies — CDS) obuhvataju teorije, metode i prakse u kritičkoj analizi društvene nejednakosti i (zlo)upotrebe društvene moći koji se konstruišu, (re)produkuju ili osporavaju putem diskursa. KDS su počele da se koriste kao alternativa opšteprihvaćenom nazivu „kritička analiza diskursa” (eng. Critical Discourse Analysis — CDA), jer je potonji sugerisao da se radi o posebnoj metodi unutar analize diskursa. Upravo ova terminološka intervencija ukazuje da ne postoji jedna teorija i metoda unutar KSD-a, već mnoštvo njih koje dele kritički pristup u istraživanju dijalektičkog odnosa diskursa i društva. O KSD-u je stoga bolje govoriti kao o programskom usmerenju, školi ili paradigmi koja svoje poreklo nalazi prvenstveno u lingvistici, a nastaje u spoju kritički orijentisanih lingvističkih,  humanističkih i društvenih teorija. Zbog inherentnog inter- i transdisicplinarnog usmerenja, KSD se nazivaju i „društvenom teorijom diskursa”. Budući da su KSD usredsređene na razotkrivanje struktura moći u društvu s namerom da pomognu u rešavanju društvenih problema svojim praktičnim činjenjem, one imaju „teleološku posvećenost pravdi, demokratiji, jednakosti i pravičnosti”, te se za njih kaže da su studije diskursa „sa stavom”.

This research was aimed to describe the denotative and connotative meanings contained within political news article of Kompas newspaper political and law columns January-February 2017 edition and its implementation on learning Indonesian in grade VIII of junior high school. The object of the research was focused on denotative and connotative meanings of political news article as the implementation of Indonesian language learning. The data collection methods used were scrutinizing and recording, whereas the data analysis technique used was matching method. The result revealed that (1) denotative and connotative meanings have differences, (2) denotative and connotative meanings could be found in political news article, (3) denotative and connotative in the political news article could be implemented on Indonesian language learning. Akademija umetnosti Originalni naučni rad Departman dramskih umetnosti Srbija Kulturni identiteti u dramskom dijalogu Apstrakt: Tekst analizira modalitete prikazivanja kulturnih identiteta unutar dramske forme, kao i dinamiku njihovog nastajanja u interakciji dramskih likova i publike. Teorijske osnove u istraživanju smo potražili u antropološkim tumačenjima razvoja kulturnih identiteta (Van Genep, V. Tarner), kao i u novijim istraživanjima filozofije nauke i univerzalnih teorija dijaloga (D. Bom, A. Blejk), uz nezaobilazne implikacije ovih teorija na pozorište i širi aspekt kulture.

El presente texto busca centrar sus recursos en ubicar el tratamiento político-ideológico de la pandemia de COVID19 en dos diarios de circulación nacional: Reforma y La jornada. Para evidenciar tales pretensiones, se ejercitó el análisis de contenido en 158 portadas por cada diario, incrustando en esta reflexión los apoyos teóricos de Teun Van Dijk y Lois Althusser. Este documento se dividido en tres partes: la primera versará sobre generalidades y características que permita entender a esta técnica de investigación. La segunda parte puntualiza el concepto de ideología, su relación con la prensa y función en el escenario político. La última parte comprende un acercamiento a la práctica metodológica del análisis de contenido, cuyas pretensiones exploratorias permitirán dibujar relaciones tenues entre la ideología política y la prensa nacional.

Günümüzde bilgiye erişimin kolaylaşması, beraberinde bilgi kirliliğini de getirmekte ve
özellikle sağlık alanında ciddi sonuçlar doğurmaktadır. İnternet ve sosyal medya platformları
aracılığıyla hızla yayılan yanlış bilgiler, toplum sağlığı açısından önemli bir tehdit
oluşturmaktadır. Bilimsel temele dayanmayan tedavi yöntemlerinden aşı karşıtlığına, hatalı
beslenme önerilerinden abartılı ilaç iddialarına kadar geniş bir yelpazede görülen bu
dezenformasyon, bireylerin sağlıkla ilgili kararlarını olumsuz yönde etkileyerek ciddi sağlık
sorunlarına neden olabilmektedir. Sosyal medyanın anonim yapısı, bireylerin herhangi bir
denetime tabi olmaksızın içerik üretmelerine ve paylaşmalarına imkân tanımaktadır. Bu durum,
bilimsel temeli olmayan veya yanıltıcı bilgilerin geniş kitlelere ulaşmasını kolaylaştırmaktadır.
Buna ek olarak, sağlık alanındaki geleneksel inanışlar ve folklorik bilgiler, modern tıbbın kanıta
dayalı yaklaşımları ile zaman zaman çelişmekte ve bireylerin rasyonel sağlık kararları almasını
zorlaştırabilmektedir. Sağlık konularının karmaşıklığı, bilimsel bilgiye olan güvenin azalması
ve duygusal tepkilerin dezenformasyonu yayma potansiyelini artırması da önemli etmenler
arasındadır. Özellikle belirsizlik ve korku ortamlarında, bireylerin yanlış bilgilere inanma ve bu
bilgileri paylaşma olasılıkları artmaktadır. Bu bağlamda, sağlık iletişiminde güvenilir bilginin
öne çıkarılması büyük önem arz etmektedir. Sağlık alanındaki dezenformasyonun sonuçları
oldukça ciddidir. Yanlış bilgilere dayalı sağlık kararları, bireylerin tedavi süreçlerini olumsuz
yönde etkileyerek telafisi mümkün olmayan sağlık sorunlarına yol açabilir. Aşı karşıtlığı gibi
yanlış yönlendirmeler, toplum bağışıklığını tehdit ederek bulaşıcı hastalıkların yayılmasına
sebebiyet verebilir. Ayrıca, yanlış bilgiler sağlık sistemine duyulan güveni zedeleyerek
bireylerin bilimsel temelli sağlık hizmetlerinden uzaklaşmasına neden olabilir. Bu çalışmada,
sağlık alanındaki dezenformasyonun nedenleri ve toplum üzerindeki etkileri incelenecek; aşı
karşıtlığı, alternatif tıp iddiaları, hatalı beslenme önerileri ve ilaçlarla ilgili asılsız bilgiler gibi
örnekler üzerinden, dezenformasyonun bireylerin sağlık kararlarını nasıl şekillendirdiği ve
toplum sağlığına yönelik tehditleri ele alınacaktır.

The objectives of this research are: 1) to identify whatever themes are proposed in poetry anthology AIJP by Wiji Thukul, 2) to describe social criticisms in Wiji Thukul’s poetries, 3) to describe Wiji Thukul’s social criticisms in poetry anthology AIJP by Wiji Thukul, and 4) to identify ethic, moral, behavioral values in poetry anthology by Wiji Thukul. This research is carried out under qualitative-descriptive method by content analysis. Content analysis method is applied by literary structure and sociology. Author sociological approach is also brought in to depict the author’s background. The data are drawn under purposive sampling technique bearing 5 titles out of 136 poetries available in poetry anthology by Wiji Thukul which represent the social criticism theme. Pada hakikatnya media massa merupakan perpanjangan lidah dan tangan manusia untuk mengembangkan struktur sosialnya. Dengan penciptaan, penyempurnaan dan penggandaan sarana teknis manusia dapat membebaskan komunikasinya dari berbagai hambatan ruang dan waktu. Era sekarang dikenal sebagai era media sehingga ada anggapan kalau ingin menguasai dunia maka kuasailah komunikasi nya, kuasailah media nya, setiap saat kita berhadapan dengan media bahkan ketika kita bangun hingga kita menjelang tidur kita senantiasa bersama dengan media. Tidak terlalu mengherankan apabila kehidupan kita baik langsung ataupun tidak langsung akan dipengaruhi oleh tayangan media, apa yang kita pikirkan, apa yang kita rasakan bahkan apa yang akan kita putuskan bisa jadi dipengaruhi oleh apa yang media sodorkan, sajikan pada kita semua. Pendahuluan
Seri Persona adalah salah satu franchise game JRPG yang paling ikonik, dikembangkan oleh Atlus. Diluncurkan pertama kali pada tahun 1996 sebagai spin-off dari seri Shin Megami Tensei, Persona berhasil membangun identitasnya sendiri melalui perpaduan cerita yang unik, mekanisme gameplay yang menarik, dan pendekatan yang mengangkat tema kehidupan sosial. Dengan elemen-elemen supernatural dan fokus pada dinamika kehidupan remaja, seri ini telah menciptakan pengalaman bermain yang tak tertandingi, menarik perhatian jutaan penggemar di seluruh dunia.

Artikel ini membahas wajah Islam di film Amerika Serikat. Tujuannya, melihat bagaimana wajah Islam direpresentasikan di sejumlah film box office dan peraih Oscar melalui unsur sinematik dan unsur naratif. Pada prinsipnya, representasi Islam memang tampak dalam empat film yang dijadikan bahan kajian kali ini ( The Hurt Locker, Zero Dark Thirty, Argo, dan Robocop ). Namun, representasi pada unsur naratif ternyata memberikan definisi tentang wajah Islam yang berbeda dengan wajah Islam yang telah ada dan berkembang sebelumnya. Diperlukan kebijaksanaan dari para penonton untuk menyikapi suguhan film yang potensial menciptakan distorsi definisi seperti ini.

Puisi karya Gugur merangkum perjuangan gagah berani para pahlawan Indonesia di wilayah Ambarawa. Para pahlawan Indonesia ini menunjukkan kesediaan untuk mengorbankan hidup mereka dalam mengejar tujuan mereka. Puisi berfungsi sebagai interpretasi bernuansa penyair tentang pengalaman manusia. Aspek sintaksis puisi mencakup pemeriksaan struktur sintaksis di samping wacana tentang bahasa figuratif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti komponen sintaksis dan menganalisis bahasa figuratif yang ada dalam puisi W.S. Rendra "Decisive." Metodologi yang digunakan bersifat deskriptif, dengan subjek penelitian adalah naskah puisi "Gugur," yang bersumber dari antologi puisi W. Srendra. Data sumber untuk naskah puisi "Almarhum" dianalisis dengan cermat oleh para peneliti. Analisis puisi mengidentifikasi contoh yang dibedakan berdasarkan konsensus di antara kelompok-kelompok yang dikategorikan. Kategorisasi data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik mencatat sistematis. Temuan analisis menerangi keterkaitan unsur-unsur sintaksis dan bahasa figuratif dalam puisi W.S. Rendra "Ugur." Pentingnya analisis ini terletak pada peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia mengenai komponen sintaksis dan bahasa figuratif yang melekat dalam puisi, yang juga dapat berfungsi sebagai diskusi tambahan dan contoh untuk tujuan pengajaran dalam buku teks sintaksis bahasa Indonesia. يعدّ التحليل النقدي للخطاب من ميادين تحليل الخطاب البحثية المعاصرة الأكثر أهمية
لما تتناوله من إشكاليات تتعلق بعلاقة السلطة بالمجتمع، والكشف عن سوء استخدام السلطة
والكشف عن ألاعيب الخطاب السلطوي والسعي إلى بناء سلطة اجتماعية وإعادة الاعتبار للطبقات
المهيمَن عليها. وقد تعددت مناهج التحليل النقدي للخطاب منذ نشأته إلى اليوم، إلا أن أهم تلك
المناهج ثلاثة: المقاربة الإد ا ركية الاجتماعية لفان دايك، والمقاربة الجدلية العلائقية لنورمان
فيركلاف، والمقاربة التاريخية لروث فوداك.
وسيسلط هذا البحث الضوء على إشكالية الضوابط الإج ا رئية وتداخل التخصصات في
مناهج التحليل النقدي للخطاب والمشتركات بين تلك المناهج، لينتقل بعدها للكشف عن مفاصل
المقاربة الإد ا ركية الاجتماعية لفان دايك وبيان مفهومها وبعض مرجعياتها اللسانية وآلياتها في

Abstract:
Critical discourse analysis is considered one of the most important fields of contemporary research in discourse analysis since it deals with the important relationship between power and society. It focuses on the misuse of power, revealing the manipulation of authoritarian discourse and seeking to maintain social power between the participants. Although many approaches to critical discourse analysis have been proposed since its inception, the most important of which are: van Dijk's sociocognitive approach, Norman Fairclough’s dialectical-relational approach, and Ruth Wodak's historical approach.
This research will shed light on the issue of procedural methodologies and the intersection of disciplines in the critical discourse analysis approaches and what they have in common. It, then, discusses the components of van Dijk's sociocognitive approach, explaining its main concepts and some of its linguistics authorities and mechanisms in analyzing the discourse of power. Then the research presents some of its most important results and conclusions.

Sebagai mahasiswa yang memiliki hobi menonton film, saya sering memikirkan tentang bagaimana media membentuk cara kita memandang dunia. Belakangan ini, saya terpaku pada konsep hegemoni media, khususnya fenomena yang sering disebut sebagai "Hollywood effect". Fenomena ini, bukan cuma mempengaruhi industri hiburan, tapi fenomena ini membentuk identitas dan persepsi kita, sebagai orang yang hidup di era digital dengan konten Hollywood yang bisa dicicipi dengan mudah. Hollywood, sebagai pusat produksi budaya global, telah lama menjadi kekuatan hegemonik yang membentuk persepsi kita tentang dunia. Melalui film-film blockbuster, acara TV yang mendunia, dan kini platform streaming, Hollywood memang telah lama menjadi industri praktis yang dipilih sebagai hiburan semata. Prof. Toby Miller, seorang ahli dalam bidang pendidikan media, dalam bukunya yang berjudul "Global Hollywood 2" menjelaskan bahwa dominasi Hollywood ini bukan sekedar tentang hiburan semata, tetapi juga tentang "soft power". Dia menulis, "Hollywood berfungsi sebagai duta budaya Amerika Serikat, mempromosikan gaya hidup, nilai-nilai, dan kebijakan luar negeri Amerika" (Miller et al., 2005).

Based on the article written by Van Dijk, "ideologically based social representations […] are general and abstract" (Dijk, 2006, p.3). Marx and Engels focused on the concept of ideology to refer to the distorted beliefs held by intellectuals and the power of those ideas on society. The idea of false consciousness was meant to refer to the social experience that ideologies are a sort of a collective illusion, as they may be misrepresented by subordinated classes dominated by powerful groups. What Dijk describes as "general and abstract" is a form of paradoxical thought, comparing to the Marxist idea of false consciousness. There are ideologies labeled as utopian because they claim to be true in themselves, while being totalitarian ideologies.
