The phantom" of the Old Kingdom in modern-day Romania. For a geographic approach to the imaginings of the future. The article offers a second-level reflection based on the results following the microgeographic research experience conducted by the author in the Romanian countryside, 25 years apart. Returning to her work performed around the decollectivisation of the 1990s, as well as to that carried out more recently on the "specter" of the Old Kingdom ("Vechiul Regat") noted on the maps for the modernization of rural houses in 2011, she shows how it has gone from a regional geography highlighted by the historical past of societies to a regional geography concurrent with their visions of the future. The initial research viewpoint is first presented by briefly restoring it with regard to the disciplinary context of French geography at the time. The presentation of new issues of interpretation posed by contemporary regional differences represents the opportunity to present at greater length the two theoretical categories employed to emerge from a historyfavoring trap which would reduce the geographic differences in terms of equipment between regions on their historical development. The article leads to an original hypothesis which renews regional approaches.

Based on extensive review of global evidence, the recommendations of the WHO Commission on Social Determinants of Health highlight the need for strengthening research on health equity with a focus on social determinants of health.

To do so requires a paradigm shift that explicitly addresses social, political, and economic processes that influence population health; this shift is under way and complements existing research in medicine, the life sciences, and public health.

Reflecting further synthesis and stakeholder consultations, an agenda for future research on health equity is outlined in four distinct yet interrelated areas: (1) global factors and processes that affect health equity; (2) structures and processes that differentially affect people's chances to be healthy within a given society; (3) health system factors that affect health equity; and (4) policies and interventions to reduce health inequity.

Influencing regional and national research priorities on equity and health and their implementation requires joint efforts towards creating a critical mass of researchers, expanding collaborations and networks, and refining norms and standards, with WHO having an important role given recent mandates.

inégalités sociales, les discriminations et les pratiques alternatives de citoyenneté) Les inégalités sociales de santé (ISS) sont un objet d'étude dont la popularité n'a cessé de croître au cours de ce dernier demi-siècle. La volumineuse littérature qui en témoigne reste néanmoins peu diserte sur le concept d'ISS. Que faut-il donc entendre par « ISS », dans les publications les prenant pour objet ? Pour en discuter, deux articles examinent la littérature sur les ISS, selon deux angles. Le premier (« Sur la piste des inégalités sociales de santé, partie 1 : comment reconnaître une différence de santé injuste ? ») s'intéresse aux définitions données aux ISS dans les publications qui les étudient. Il constate qu'elles renvoient tantôt à l'ensemble des différences de santé entre groupes sociaux, tantôt uniquement à celles jugées injustes. Mais comment repérer une différence injuste ? Une discussion des critères proposés dans la littérature pour faire ce repérage conclut à douter que des différences de santé entre des groupes sociaux puissent être complètement justes. Est-ce à dire que toutes les différences de santé sont des ISS ? Avant de l'affirmer, ce présent article propose de poursuivre la discussion en examinant non plus ce qui est dit des ISS, mais ce qui est étudié sous leur bannière : ce sur quoi portent les études dont elles font l'objet. Cet examen révèle que les différences de santé étudiées dans le champ des ISS sont bien injustes et plus précisément qu'elles résultent de rapports de pouvoir dénoncés dans le débat public. Il est donc proposé de définir les ISS comme des différences de santé entre des groupes sociaux entretenant des rapports de pouvoir. Cette définition est ensuite confortée par trois observations portant successivement sur 1) les différences de santé absentes des travaux sur les ISS, 2) les travaux précurseurs sur les ISS et 3) les apports de la perspective intersectionnelle pour la recherche en santé. La dernière partie de l'article examine, à la lumière de cette définition des ISS, l'enchaînement des processus en cause dans la fabrication des ISS et les politiques visant à les réduire.

Zber dát prebiehal od 1. 6. 2021 do 30. 6. 2021. Výsledky: V kategórii adolescentov (13-18 rokov) bolo v štúdii zahrnutých 1825 respondentov. V porovnaní s obdobím pred lockdownom sme v období lockdownu zaznamenali pokles nálady, pociťovanej energie, možnosti vykonávať aktivity a nárast pociťovanej tenzie (všetky p = < 0,001). prítomnosť samotného ochorenia covid-19 nemala vplyv na skúmané parametre duševného zdravia adolescentov (p = > 0,05). Výrazná zmena v dennom režime -nutnosť online výučby -mala v závislosti od spokojnosti respondentov s touto zmenou významný vplyv na skúmané parametre duševného zdravia. Thesis deals with influence of psychological factors on treatment of obesity and overweight. The first part of the thesis includes the latest knowledge on obesity, describes individual types and causes of obesity and options of its therapy. Selected psychological factors as motivation, life satisfaction, self-efficacy and locus of control are theoretically based in another part of the work followed by application of these concepts on the therapy of obesity and overweight. Empirical part describes a research that took place in nutritional consulting rooms and was made using questionnaires on a sample of 51 persons whose BMI value was over 25. Influence of selected psychological factors on weight loss of patients was observed. The pandemic spread of Covid-19 is worth examining by the geographic eye in order to highlight the spatial dimension of this propagation. The geographical approach is mainly convened to observe some of the territorializing aspects of coronavirus, through which it becomes possible to define the territorial specificities that intervene as vectors of vulnerability to the pandemic. Claiming to be one of the first geographical researches on Covid-19 in Algeria, this article proposes to question the correlated relationship between its propagation dynamics and the spatial and demographic characteristics of pandemic territories. The objective is to understand the behaviors of vulnerability or resistance of these territories, via geographical parameters. Such an understanding is principally useful in health prevention and action strategies.

Analýza odhaduje náklady a prínosy preventívnej intervencie antihypertenzívami a statínmi v slovenskej populácii v produktívnom veku 45 až 64 rokov s vysokým rizikom vzniku kardiovaskulárnej príhody. Metodika: Z preventívnych prehliadok danej vekovej skupiny sa vypočítala miera kardiovaskulárneho rizika. Ďalej sa použili údaje o morbidite a mortalite na kardiovaskulárne choroby, údaje o pracovnej neschopnosti a invalidizácii, priemernej mzde a ďalšie makroekonomické údaje. Nákladové zdroje zdravotnej starostlivosti vychádzali z údajov Všeobecnej zdravotnej poisťovne za rok 2006. V populácii s vysokým rizikom sa zistila priemerná hodnota tlaku krvi a hladiny LDL cholesterolu. Z výsledkov metaanalýz klinických štúdií sa zvolila medikácia s potenciálom zníženia tlaku krvi v priemere pod hodnotu vysokého normálneho tlaku krvi a LDL cholesterolu pod 3 mmol/l. V trojročnom modeli sme porovnávali náklady s preventívnou intervenciou a bez nej, ktoré sa vzťahovali na počet zabránených príhod (infarkt myokardu a cievna mozgová príhoda), zachránených životov a QALY (Quality adjusted life years). Model bol spracovaný zo zdravotnej aj sociálnej perspektívy. Použili sme analýzy: Analýzu dôsledku nákladov (CCA), analýzu dopadu na rozpočet (BIA) a analýzu užitočnosti nákladov (CUA). Výsledky: Priemerné náklady na infarkt myokardu odhadujeme na úrovni 309 tisíc Sk, priame náklady približne na 94 tisíc Sk. V prípade cievnej mozgovej príhody 411 tisíc Sk, priame 41 tisíc SK. Preventívna medikamentózna intervencia predstavuje zvýšenie ročných priamych nákladov o približne pol miliardy Sk. V priebehu troch rokov môžeme predpokladať kumulatívne zníženie prvých kardiovaskuilárnych príhod o takmer 5 000 (43 %) a úmrtí v ich dôsledku o 1 400 (45 %). Náklady na zabránenú príhodu sa pohybujú v treťom roku na úrovni 220 tisíc Sk, náklady na zachránený život asi 850 tisíc Sk. Náklady na QALY odhadujeme na 800 tisíc Sk/QALY, čo je pod trojnásobkom slovenského HDP/obyvateľa, teda na úrovni, ktorá svedčí pre nákladovo efektívnu intervenciu. Záver: Preventívna intervencia antihypertenzívami a hypolipidemikami v slovenskej populácii v produktívnom veku s vysokým rizikom kardiovaskulárnej príhody sa javí ako nákladovo efektívna.

Každý deviaty človek na Slovensku podľa Ligy za duševné zdravie v roku 2017 trpel jednou alebo viacerými duševnými poruchami. Tie zároveň patria k desiatim najčastejším príčinám hospitalizácie. Liga taktiež uvádza, že takmer milión ľudí nie je spokojných so svojím duševným zdravím, pričom v posledných rokoch sa duševný stav obyvateľstva ešte zhoršil vplyvom pandémie COVID-19 a vojny na Ukrajine. Potrebná starostlivosť je pritom zle dostupná a psychiatrické ambulancie preťažené. Útvar hodnoty za peniaze Ministerstva financií SR v analýze Duševné zdravie a verejné financie zároveň upozorňuje na zásadný význam prevencie ako nákladovo-efektívneho opatrenia.

Práve umenie a kultúra podľa Svetovej zdravotníckej organizácie zohrávajú významnú úlohu v prevencii a liečbe zdravotných ťažkostí. Ľudia, ktorí sa zapájajú do kultúrnych a umeleckých aktivít pozorujú zlepšenie duševného zdravia a kvality života, vyššiu spokojnosť a schopnosť zvládať každodenné ťažkosti. Účinok na psychické zdravie je pritom úzko prepojený s telesným zdravím. Zvyšujúce sa množstvo dôkazov o zdravotných benefitoch umenia a kultúry v zahraničí prispieva k rozvíjaniu medzisektorových spoluprác - tzv. Arts & Health. Využívanie umenia a kultúry ako zdravotnej intervencie má pritom odlišný účel ako bežná umelecká tvorba a zároveň sa neobmedzuje len na arteterapiu.

Na Slovensku zatiaľ chýba povedomie o účinkoch umenia a kultúry na zdravie a okrem arteterapie sa aktuálne realizujú najmä rôzne individuálne iniciatívy - spolupráce jednotlivých inštitúcií pri poskytovaní umeleckých predstavení, tvorivých aktivít či návštev organizácií. Absentuje systematické prepojenie relevantných sektorov a bez ohľadu na mieru jednotlivých skúseností kultúrni aktéri pomenovávajú potrebu zvýšenia kompetencií na prácu v oblasti duševného zdravia.

Potenciál kultúry a umenia pre duševné zdravie v zahraničí systematicky využíva metóda tzv. predpisovania umenia. Takéto formálne odporúčanie participácie na kultúrnych a umeleckých aktivitách dosahuje významné výsledky v prežívaní duševných ťažkostí,zmierňovaní osamelosti, zlepšení prístupu k zdravotnej starostlivosti i samotnej kultúre a znižovaní nákladov na zdravotnú starostlivosť. Medzinárodné prípadové štúdie popisujú rôznorodé formy implementácie predpisovania umenia prostredníctvom poskytovateľov zdravotnej a sociálnej starostlivosti na národnej, samosprávnej či inštitucionálnej úrovni.

Predpisovanie umenia ponúka aj v slovenskom kontexte spôsob, ako posilniť prevenciu a zmierňovanie duševných ťažkostí u širokého obyvateľstva. Predpoklady pre jeho spustenie vychádzajú zo zahraničných skúseností, zistenej východiskovej situácie slovenských kultúrnych aktérov a odbornej spätnej väzby z prostredia zdravotníctva, psychológie a sociálnej práce i potenciálnych zriaďovateľov. Konkrétne možnosti implementácie predpisovania umenia v slovenskom prostredí najefektívnejšie overí pilotný projekt. Jeho spusteniu však musí predchádzať osveta o vzťahu umenia a zdravia, získanie odborných kompetencií a finančných zdrojov, prehĺbenie poznania formálnych podmienok implementácie projektu ako aj potrieb a preferencií cieľovej skupiny.

Ce rapport produit, grâce a l’exploitation de bases de donnees publiques et parapubliques, des informations sur l’evolution de la qualite des milieux de vie et de travail, cibles du PNSE2. Neuf domaines sont analyses : qualite de l’air exterieur, de l’air interieur et de l’eau ; expositions au bruit et aux substances toxiques ; expositions professionnelles ; points noirs environnementaux ; habitat indigne ; expositions des populations vulnerables aux substances toxiques preoccupantes, reprotoxiques et a des perturbateurs endocriniens. La contribution du PNSE2 a la reduction des inegalites sociales et territoriales d’exposition aux risques resultant de ces pollutions et nuisances a aussi ete recherchee. The research question of this paper is whether the combination of paid employment and taking care of children promotes or damages the health of married and divorced women in the Netherlands. To answer this question, data are used from 936 women aged 30-54 years who were either living with a partner (N ¼ 431) or divorced and living alone (N ¼ 505). The findings show that combining a job outside the home and childcare does not harm women's health, irrespective of the length of the working week and the age of the children. In fact, some work-childcare combinations are associated with better health. This is true for both married and divorced women and especially holds true in the case of a part-time job and having older children. Two effects are responsible for the findings: enjoying good health enables mothers to work outside the home (selection effect) and working outside the home promotes mothers' health (health effect).

The author criticizes the superficial public debate about the welfare state in Slovakia, claiming that it is strongly politicized and full of myths. He asks whether interest in eradicating poverty is just rhetorical, or if it really stems from the structure of the social system. He seeks answers to this question with the help of various statistics and measurements in this area. Measurements evaluating the strength or quality of the welfare state are not methodologically perfect, but in the vast majority of the different views offered by the author in the text, the Slovak welfare state is either below the average of the countries compared or among the worst. Based on these comparisons, he identified as a problem, in particular, the failing social safety net through which not only individuals but also entire population groups fall through. He describes other problems such as the system’s pressure for deservedness where it should be universalistic and the fact that it addresses symptoms rather than the causes of poverty. According to the author the path to making a functional change in the social system is through expert debate that cannot function only on the basis of economic categories, requiring us to be drawn into sociology, psychology, and to various ideologies, including those of the left, which our society has ostracised for decades.

ABSTRACT

This research carried out in Delta State, Nigeria, focuses on the empirical application of Principal Component Analysis (PCA), an asset based measure of wellbeing which can be used to assess level of poverty among households in rural areas of developing countries. The study employed questionnaire-based household survey data collection methods. The final wealth index was derived using data collected from 430 artisanal fishing households in riverine Delta State communities. Data on 16 variables measuring multiple aspects of household wealth status were used to extract the set of principal components utilized in the construction of the index. Two key statistical tests, the KMO and Bartlett’s tests, showed the appropriateness of the data for PCA. Results revealed that five major factors influence the wealth status and hence the wellbeing of households: home infrastructure, energy sources, durable home assets, water sources and mobility. Therefore, it is suggested that any efforts to improve the wellbeing of farm households in the study area as well as in other regions with similar socio- economic settings should consider these factors as entry point to poverty alleviation.

Summary During the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, global measures preventing the spread of the new coronavirus required most of the population to lockdown at home. This sudden halt to collective life meant that non-essential services were closed and many health promoting activities (i.e. physical activity, school) were stopped in their tracks. To curb the negative health impacts of lockdown measures, activities adapting to this new reality were urgently developed. One form of activity promoted indoor physical activity to prevent the adverse physical and psychological effects of the lockdown. Another form of activity included the rapid development of online learning tools to keep children and youth engaged academically while not attending school. Le développement du travail en réseau comme stratégie de changement dans les politiques publiques Par François Vedelago 1 Résumé : Le terme de réseau, aujourd'hui extrêmement répandu, provoque à sa seule évocation tout à la fois un « effet de modernisme » et, pour les acteurs, il s'impose comme une démarche obligée de résolution de problème. Au sein du système de santé, soumis à des réformes constantes qui recomposent ses différents éléments en permanence depuis une vingtaine d'années, les formes de coordinations entre les acteurs requièrent de leur part des adaptations continues. Les réseaux de santé suscitent et accompagnent à la fois ces recompositions relationnelles entre les acteurs professionnels au sein des organisations de santé. Ils constituent en tant qu'action expérimentale un atout stratégique favorisant de nouvelles formes de coopération et de recomposition à l'intérieur des différents secteurs du système de santé. La démarche de réseau consiste dans l'emploi d'une ressource nouvelle qui était à l'état informel et en partie du domaine privé des individus, à savoir la diversité de leurs liens sociaux, ou pour reprendre la notion de P.Bourdieu leur capital social, pour l'action réformatrice des organisations.

The purpose of this study is to shed light on the individual socioeconomic status (SES) and demographic determinants of the demand for health care in a crosscomparison study of nine E.U. countries. It focuses on the effects of the individual employment status on alternative indicators of demand for health care that constitutes a largely unexplored area. The evidence supports the existence of an employment status-demand for health care relationship although it varies with respect to the type of health care examined and the institutional and environmental settings of the countries utilised in the study.

Cieľom prieskumu bolo zistenie percepcie rizika nesteroidových antireumatík (NSA) pacientmi. Použili sme metódu dotazníkového zisťovania v súbore 400 náhodne vybraných pacientov, vyhodnotenie metódami deskriptívnej štatistiky. Predložené výsledky preukazujú pestrú paletu názorov, potvrdzujú vysoký záujem respondentov o daný problém, stávajú sa dobrým východiskom pre rozšírenie zisťovania na ďalšie oblasti percepcie rizika užívania liekov. Dostatok informácií o riziku užívania lieku zo strany pacientov a identifikácia krízových momentov percepcie rizika lieku sú nevyhnutným predpokladom skvalitnenia zdravotnej starostlivosti a vzostupu spokojnosti pacienta. Issues of possible risk perception of medications in patients taking nonsterodial anti-inflammatory drugs/analgesics The aim of the survey was to identify the risk perception of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) by patients. We used the method of questionnaire survey of 400 randomly selected patients, evaluated by methods of descriptive statistics. The results present a diverse range of views, confirm a high interest of respondents in the problem, and can become a good starting point for extending the survey to other areas of risk perception of medication use. Enough information about the risks of medication use by patients and identification of critical moments in risk perception of medications are prerequisites for improving health care and increasing patient satisfaction.

The importance of studying associations between socio-economic position and health has often been highlighted. Previous studies have linked the prevalence and severity of lung disease with national wealth and with socio-economic position within some countries but there has been no systematic evaluation of the association between lung function and poverty at the individual level on a global scale. The BOLD study has collected data on lung function for individuals in a wide range of countries, however a barrier to relating this to personal socio-economic position is the need for a suitable measure to compare individuals within and between countries. In this paper we test a method for assessing socio-economic position based on the scalability of a set of durable assets (Mokken scaling), and compare its usefulness across countries of varying gross national income per capita. Déterminants sociaux de la santé en Suisse-comment le genre s'est perdu en chemin Depuis quatre décennies, la recherche épidémiologique a mis en évidence la nécessité de considérer les déterminants sociaux et la distribution sociale des maladies dans la population suisse, en particulier en fonction du genre. Le genre influence la situation sociale, les conditions et les parcours de vie et les comportements en matière de santé qui influencent ensemble la santé. Malgré ces acquis, les politiques et stratégies nationales de santé tendent à considérer le genre comme un facteur de second plan, voire à omettre totalement son influence sur la santé. La politique Santé2020 et les stratégies nationales spécifiques récentes en témoignent tout particulièrement. Or, exclure ou réduire le genre à un facteur biologique entrave la mise en place d'interventions spécifiques visant la réduction des inégalités de santé au nom du principe de justice sociale. Social determinants of health-how gender got lost on the way Since four decades epidemiological research has emphasised the necessity to consider social determinants and the social distribution of illnesses in the Swiss population, particularly by gender. Gender influences social position, living conditions as well as health behaviours over the life-course which all together influence health outcomes. Despite this evidence, national health policies and strategies tend to consider gender as a background factor, if not to omit its influence on health. The Health2020 policy and the recent specific national strategies are particularly illustrative. To exclude or reduce gender as a mere biological factor however hampers the implementation of specific interventions aiming at reducing health inequalities in the name of the social justice principle.

Cet article explore des enjeux de l’évaluation émancipatrice d’un projet de santé communautaire, d’un programme transfrontalier de promotion de la santé mentale et de projets de promotion de la santé par les services de santé scolaire. Ces enjeux sont questionnés selon les axes politique, opérationnel ou constructiviste de l’évaluation. Le propos porte sur les liens entre l’évaluation émancipatrice et la communauté formée par les stakeholders. Il ouvre une réflexion sur les enjeux micro, méso et macro sociaux de l’évaluation et la posture de l’évaluateur.

Background: Health outcomes in India are characterized by pervasive inequities due to deeply entrenched socioeconomic gradients amongst the population. Therefore, it is imperative to investigate these systematic disparities in health, however, evidence of inequities does not commensurate with its policy objectives in India. Thus, our paper aims to examine the magnitude of and trends in horizontal inequities in self-reported morbidity and untreated morbidity in India over the period of 2004 to 2017-18. Methods: The study used cross-sectional data from nationwide healthcare surveys conducted in 2004, 2014 and 2017-18 encompassing sample size of 3,85,055; 3,35,499 and 5,57,887 individuals respectively. Erreygers concentration indices were employed to discern the magnitude and trend in horizontal inequities in self-reported morbidity and untreated morbidity. Need standardized concentration indices were further used to unravel the interregional and intra-regional income related inequities in outcomes of interest. Additionally, regression based decomposition approach was applied to ascertain the contributions of both legitimate and illegitimate factors in the measured inequalities. Results: Estimates were indicative of profound inequities in self-reported morbidity as inequity indices were positive and significant for all study years, connoting better-off reporting more morbidity, given their needs. These inequities however, declined marginally from 2004(HI: 0.049, p< 0.01) to 2017-18(HI: 0.045, P< 0.01). Untreated morbidity exhibited pro-poor inequities with negative concentration indices. Albeit, significant reduction in horizontal inequity was found from 2004(HI= − 0.103, p< 0.01) to 2017-18(HI = − 0.048, p< 0.01) in treatment seeking over the years. The largest contribution of inequality for both outcomes stemmed from illegitimate variables in all the study years. Our findings also elucidated interstate heterogeneities in inequities with high-income states like Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and West Bengal evincing inequities greater than all India estimates and Northeastern states divulged equity in reporting morbidity. Inequities in untreated morbidity converged for most states except in Punjab, Chhattisgarh and Himachal Pradesh where widening of inequities were observed from 2004 to 2017-18.

Väčšina ľudí dnes trpí zdravotnými problémami. Súvisiace ekonomické dôsledky sa stávajú neúnosnými pre väčšinu vyspelých ekonomík. V mnohých regiónoch a mestách sveta sa však ukazuje, že ľudské zdravie môže byť faktorom ekono- mického rozvoja a udržateľnosti. Jednou z možností podpory lokálnej ekonomiky je zamerať sa na zlepšovanie zdravia obyvateľov.
Analýza strategických a legislatívnych dokumentov a smerníc v medzinárodnom a európskom kontexte ukazuje, že téma má vlastný právno-legislatívny rámec, ktorého minimálne preklopenie do slovenského prostredia môže priniesť výrazné (aj ekonomické) benefity pre udržateľný rozvoj lokálnych samosprávnych systémov.

Cancer is an important group of causes of death in Slovakia, affecting the overall level and nature of mortality. They are also an important factor in premature death, resulting in significant direct and indirect economic losses. Good knowledge of appropriate analytical tools is a key element in identifying these impacts. The main aim of this paper is to point out some of the most common and relevant analytical tools and methodologies in connection with research of the mortality process and causes of death, especially those that are subject of interest to the LISPER project. Základným zdrojom údajov v dátových podmienkach Slovenska je vyčerpávajúce zisťovanie každoročne realizované Štatistickým úradom Slovenskej republiky (ďalej ŠÚ SR) ako Hlásenie Obyv 3-12 List o prehliadke mŕtveho a štatistické hlásenie o úmrtí. To pre každú zomretú osobu na území Slovenska musí vyplniť prehliadajúci alebo pitvajúci lekár najneskôr do 3 dní od prehliadky resp. pitvy. Okrem samotného počtu zomretých (pre osoby s trvalým pobytom na Slovensku) uvedené hlásenie poskytuje viaceré veľmi dôležité informácie potrebné pre samotnú analýzu procesu úmrtnosti, jeho vývoja a vplyvu na populáciu. Najčastejšie sú na tieto účely využívané niektoré štrukturálne znaky zomretého, ako je pohlavie, dátum narodenia, dátum úmrtia, z ktorých je následne konštruovaný vek pri úmrtí, rodinný stav, najvyššie dosiahnuté vzdelanie, národnosť, štátne občianstvo. Pri regionálnych analýzach je využívaná informácia o mieste trvalého bydliska zomretého (obec-prípadne mestská časť pri Bratislave a Košíc, okres). Pri úmrtí dieťaťa do 1 roka života je zisťovaná pôrodná hmotnosť, či bol otec dieťaťa manželom matky, kde nastalo úmrtie (doma, v ústave, inde) a ak dieťa zomrelo do 24 hodín, uvádza sa tiež dĺžka života v hodinách. V prípade úmrtia ženatej, vydatej osoby hlásenie tiež informuje o rodnom čísle pozostalého manželského partnera. Z neho následne je možné odvodiť jeho vek

The natural increase of Slovak population has passed through several variable waves since 1950. The most favourable trend was from 1950 till 1966, in a range of 17. 34— 10.22 per 1,000 inhabitants. After 1980, this rise rapidly fell down, from 8.93 to 0.31 in 1999. Some irregularity between an increase and reduction in productive-age population has appeared. A higher increase in the post-productive-age population will be in 2010, but it will not be compensated by an afflux of young people at productive age. Although slightly, the old age index is increasing. However, the coefficients of dependence of young people, which express the future reproduction of working population are falling. The adverse situation in reproduction is starting to affect human resources management.

Despite remarkable strides in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac and neurological conditions, significant disparities persist, particularly in regions often categorized as the Global South. These disparities are multifaceted, arising from challenges such as restricted access to healthcare resources, poor screening programs, and an unequal distribution of treatment modalities. Patients in these regions face worse health outcomes than those in more affluent countries, underscoring the urgent need for targeted interventions and equitable healthcare initiatives.

Príspevok prezentuje výsledky prieskumu, ktorý bol realizovaný v Českej republike vo väznici pre mladistvých odsúdených mužov. Prieskum mal exploračný charakter a jeho cieľom bola deskripcia rizikových, ale aj protektívnych faktorov z perspektívy adolescentov vo výkone trestného opatrenia odňatia slobody 1 a identifikácia súvislostí medzi ich pobytom v rezidenciálnej starostlivosti a ich trestnou činnosťou. Výberový súbor tvorili šiesti adolescenti odsúdení za majetkovú alebo násilnú trestnú činnosť a informácie boli získavané pološtrukturovaným rozhovorom. Vzhľadom na veľkosť výberového súboru výsledky nemožno zovšeobecniť, avšak vzhľadom na svoj kvalitatívny charakter poskytujú cenné informácie, ktoré autorka príspevku v závere formuluje v podobe odporúčaní do špeciálnopedagogickej praxe.

Předloženo v září 2014 VÝCHODISKA: Teória relatívneho veku predpokladá, že deti a adolescentišportovci narodení na začiatku kalendárneho roku sú v športových súťažiach úspešnejší ako tí, ktorí sa narodili v neskorších mesiacoch rovnakého roku. Táto úspešnosť je založená vo výhode kondičných, morfologických a psychických predpokladov u starších jedincov. CIEĽ: Výskumným zámerom predloženej štúdie bolo overiť predpoklad o sú ťažnej úspešnosti starších jedincov v súboroch elitných tenistov a tenistiek v období staršieho školského veku. METODIKA: Do analýzy byli zahrnuté údaje zo súborov 13ročných chlapcov a dievčat (13 rokov a 0 mesiacov, až 13 rokov a 11 mesiacov) evidovaných na prvých sto miestach v rebríčku Svetovej tenisové federácie ITF podľa celkového ročného počtu bodov v každom roku v období 2007-2011 (500 chlapcov, 500 dievčat). Pre tieto dva súbory bola vykonaná ANOVA celkového počtu bodov ako ukazovateľa súťažnej úspešnosti, s faktorom veku (12 hladín = 12 mesiacov narodenia) (α = ,05). Rovnaká analýza bola vykonaná pre podsúbory chlapcov, resp. dievčat evidovaných v ITF samostatne v jednotlivých rokoch v období 2007-2011. Dáta narodenia detí boli získané z ofi ciálnych zdrojov ITF. V prípade zistenia významnosti faktoru veku bola vykonaná jednoduchá regresná analýza závislosti počtu ITF bodov na mesiaci narodenia (p < ,05). Analýzy boli spracované v software SPSS 21 (IBM, USA). VÝSLEDKY: Analýza nepreukázala významnosť faktoru veku, resp. mesiaca narodenia na celkový počet bodov tak u celých súborov chlapcov (n = 500) (p = ,624) a dievčat (n = 500) (p = ,152) z evidencie ITF v sledovanom päťročnom období, tak v súbore chlapcov (n = 100), resp. dievčat (n = 100) evidovaných v ITF rebríčku v každom roku päťročného obdobia v jednotlivých rokoch. Výnimkou bola preukázaná významnosť faktoru veku v súbore chlapcov v roku Január 18 303,3 ±144,

Močová inkontinencia je častý symptóm v tehotenstve, ktorý môže negatívne ovplyvniť kvalitu života ženy. Cieľ: Zistiť prevalenciu a výskyt rizikových faktorov močovej inkontinencie v tehotenstve. Metódy: Sledovaný súbor tvorili ženy od 18-45 rokov. Dáta boli získané od 133 žien v treťom trimestri tehotenstva s použitím slovenskej validizovanej verzie dotazníka International Consultation on Incontinence Questionnaire-Short Form. Výskum sa uskutočnil v NsP Myjava v období december 2013-január 2014. Výsledky: Z celkového počtu respondentiek (n = 133) zaradených do štúdie 64,66 % žien uviedlo prítomnosť močovej inkontinencie počas tehotenstva. Najčastejším typom bola stresová inkontinencia moču (73,26 %). Výskyt močovej inkontinencie bol vyšší v skupine druho a viacrodičiek, ako aj u žien s pôrodom vaginálnou cestou v anamnéze. Záver: Štúdia demonštruje vysokú prevalenciu močovej inkontinencie u tehotných. Výskyt močovej inkontinencie v tehotenstve a parita môžu byť možnými rizikovými faktormi vzniku močovej inkontinencie v budúcnosti. Je potrebné, aby sa tejto problematike venovala adekvátna pozornosť. V praxi to môže znamenať poučenie tehotných žien o prevencii, rizikových faktoroch ako aj možnostiach liečby daného typu močovej inkontinencie.
