Scientific knowledge mapping

The study aims to map the current state of the literature on ergonomics in architecture. Despite the increasing importance of ergonomics in architectural design processes, no bibliometric analysis on architectural ergonomics has been found in the literature. This gap formed the basis for the research. The method used in the study is a hybrid method that examines the relationship between ergonomics and architecture both quantitatively and qualitatively. The study utilized the Web of Science (WoS) database and evaluated a total of 154 articles published between 2015 and 2025. The dataset for bibliometric analysis was analyzed using Biblioshiny and Vosviewer software. A systematic review process was applied in accordance with the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Publications were examined based on criteria such as keywords, years, authors, institutions, and countries. The first fifty (50) publications were analyzed in terms of content based on the methods and themes they used. The findings showed that the research topic has been an area of growing interest in the literature over the past ten (10) years. Methodologically, it was found that review and modeling studies were predominant, while experimental and qualitative studies were limited. Thematically, the subject was found to revolve around design, digitization, and health themes. User-centered and accessibility-themed studies were limited. In conclusion, the study provides a comprehensive mapping of the current literature on ergonomics in architecture, serving as a resource for the special characteristics of the field and future research trends.

Over the last decade, there has been an enormous rise in the popularity of socially responsible investment, and driving advancements in research. The principal objective is to visually elucidate the concept of Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) through the presentation of an intellectual framework. In this regard, studies are relatively scarce. This study aims to map the knowledge structure of SRI in Asian countries. It scrutinizes academic literature published between 2013 and 2023, comprising 189 articles indexed in Scopus employing performance analysis, scientific mapping, and network analysis methodologies. This study represents a preliminary exploration into the bibliometric surrounding socially responsible investment, with a particular focus on Asian countries.It uses Biblioshiny and VOSviewer, to identify prominent publications, institutions, nations, and authors, along with the evolution over time. During the period of 2013-2023, 189 publications on Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) were published. Leading authors, including Lean HH, Liu X, and Nakai M, have contributed significantly. Key topics such as 'Socially responsible investment,' 'Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR),' and 'ESG' are essential to current and future discussions. In addition, the study reveals that the growing alignment of CSR and SRI is transforming market dynamics, promoting ethical investment practices, and leveraging performance insights to foster resilience and ensure long-term success. However, given that SRIs align with Sustainable development goals and represent a specialized area of investment, this study holds particular relevance and potential for generating significant outcomes based on existing literature.

E-learning is now a requirement in all educational institutions, including schools, colleges, and universities,
because of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis. The use of online learning methods requires teachers and students
to adapt to maintain business as usual despite several challenges. Additionally, it alters how students behave.
Some of them struggle with anxiety and sadness. This essay investigates how behavior of students is affected
by online learning. Teaching staff, including parents, recommend that the government sector take initiatives to
assist students who have limited access to the internet and devices—which are the primary requirements to be
able to participate in online classes—while also boosting student engagement in virtual learning, particularly
during this crucial pandemic.

This study employs bibliometric analysis to examine research trends and emerging themes using short videos in education. Using 238 records from the Dimensions database, the investigation identifies and describes publication trends, highly cited works, leading journals, most cited authors, active countries, and country collaborations. Results indicate a consistent increase in publications, though citation trends have fluctuated. The most cited study, Glance and colleagues, explores the pedagogical foundations of massive open online courses, while CBE-Life Sciences Education is the most cited journal. Most cited scholars include D. G. Glance, M. Forsey, M. Riley, E. A. van Vliet, N. Brouwer, and J. C. Winnips, with the United States leading in short video research and international collaborations. Co-citation analysis highlights Computers & Education as a frequently cited source and the publications from Frontiers in Psychology, Interactive Learning Environments, and Education and Information Technology. Moreover, bibliographic coupling reveals a close connection between publication on short videos and suggests a strong shared intellectual content. Four themes emerge from short video publications: (1) addressing educational needs through digital learning innovations, (2) technology integration in teaching and learning in higher education, (3) short videos in post-pandemic education: opportunities and challenges, and (4) social media as a learning tool: the impact of platforms on student engagement and academic performance. Overall, this study offers valuable insights into publication trends on short videos and provides practical recommendations for future research and practice.

The social dimension is crucial when evaluating initiatives and policies requested or promoted by public and private organizations and society. This research aims to investigate the social impact of medical research utilization based on the Web of Science database from 1990 to 2022.The scientometric method and co-word analysis were used to analyze the data. The Web of Science database was used to collect the data. VOSviewer, HistCite, Bibliometrix R package, and Excel software were employed. There has been an upward trend in the publication of scientific articles on the social impact of medical research utilization, peaking in 2021. Most of these records were published between 2017 and 2022, indicating that the significance of the social implications of research reached its zenith during this period, coinciding with the emergence of fourth-generation universities. The United States (U.S.) and Canada have the highest number of scientific articles on this topic. The countries with the highest coefficients of collaboration in this field are the U.S., Canada, England, and Australia. Graham, Legare, Lewis, Strauss, Stabrooks, and Grimshaw authored the most prominent scientific articles. Notably, "Graham" is the most influential author in this field, having garnered 4,846 citations. Key conceptual terms in this field include knowledge translation, public health, healthcare, knowledge management, quality of life, knowledge transfer, quality improvement, science implementation, dissemination, evidence-based medicine, primary care, health politics, medical education, health promotion, social media, social value, and facilitators. This research serves as a roadmap for future researchers interested in social impact assessment. It contributes to advancing research into social impact and medical research utilization.

The selection of knowledge workers in the organization is one of the main tasks of human resource management in the new era, and the lack of criteria and a coherent list of factors influencing the selection of these workers has been raised as a challenging issue in this field. The following article seeks to examine these influencing factors on the selection of Knowledge workers using a systematic review. The process of conducting a systematic research review is derived from the model of Okoli and Shabram (2017) and the selection steps of Silva (2015). Based on this, the number of 1976 articles published without time limit from the databases of Science Direct, Google Scholar, Normags, a comprehensive portal of humanities, the specialized database of Noor magazines, and the scientific information center of academic jihad were examined, and analyzed. In the final step, effective factors were extracted from 16 articles. The findings of the research were presented in the form of three categories of knowledge, skill, and ability, and finally, the key characteristics of knowledge workers were divided into two parts: some characteristics are non-developable and fixed, and others are developable and variable.

Since the 1970s, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) have gained increasing recognition in the literature, drawing the attention of numerous scientific disciplines, particularly within technical and environmental sciences. What initially began as computerized map production in the 1970s has evolved with advancements in computer processing power and capacity, supported by various software packages. This study aims to reveal the general tendencies in research studies conducted in the fields of urban planning, spatial planning, and landscape planning. To identify these trends, a bibliometric analysis was conducted by examining literature on studies published worldwide, including Türkiye. For this purpose, 2,354 research and review articles published between 1990 and 2022 and indexed in the Web of Science database were analyzed using VOSviewer software, which is suitable for scientific mapping and bibliometric analysis. The analysis focused on the most frequently published journals, highly-cited authors and countries, collaborative authorship relationships, and the most cited authors, journals, and research topics in Türkiye. As a result, it has been observed that, considering the emergence of modern GIS concepts in the late 1970s and subsequent development based on spatial data from the 1980s, studies in the fields of Urban and Regional Planning, Urban Design, and Landscape Architecture have gained momentum since the 1990s. Research establishing the relationship between GIS and planning in Türkiye has been increasing since 2004, with the primary focus of these studies being categorized into three clusters: site selection, spatial mapping, and mathematical modeling.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are widely acknowledged as an optimal technology owing to their exceptional capabilities in terms of time efficiency, precision, safety, and cost-effectiveness. As a result, there is a rapidly growing interest in this technology, which is now being utilized across various sectors, such as agriculture, forestry, search and rescue, and remote sensing. The aim of this study was to assess the survey intensity of UAVs in land use/land cover (LU/LC) studies, providing guidance for future research in this field. To achieve this goal, a bibliometric analysis was conducted to review global literature and identify emerging trends. In this context, 744 documents indexed in the Web of Science (WoS) and published between 2002 and 2023 were reviewed and analyzed using a large database for scientific mapping and bibliometric analysis. The analysis was conducted using the VOSviewer software. It encompasses various metrics, including the number of studies and citations by year, distribution of studies by document type, and bibliographic coupling of authors, organizations, countries, sources, keyword co-occurrence, and citation network analysis. This study's findings reveal a burgeoning interest and upward publication trend within the UAV-LU/LC domain, reflecting both the escalating curiosity among researchers and the rapid advancement of the field. In addition, other types of documents make significant contributions, thus enhancing diversity in a field primarily dominated by research articles. The leadership of China, along with the contributions of other countries, underscores the global significance of this area and highlights its potential for international cooperation. Remote Sensing journal serves as a significant resource in the UAV-LU/LC field and plays a pivotal role in driving research and advancement in this area.

This paper presents a model for designing and representing a knowledge unit of a research unit in critical situations with a skill recognition and expertise approach. To do this, topics such as definitions of the map of knowledge and its types, the reason for mapping knowledge and its key principles of drawing, classification of knowledge maps, the advantages and disadvantages of such maps and case studies were studied. Then, by analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of the aforesaid, a six-step model was presented for representing the knowledge map in a research unit that consists of six steps: 1. identifying the field of knowledge. 2. Identifying supervisors and operational managers. 3. Extracting relationships between employees and also, meta-knowledge about people. 4. Extracting information and knowledge of people. 5. Drawing up knowledge map. 6. Providing mechanism for updating and analyzing strengths and weaknesses. The validation of the model was carried out in the form of a question from the experts familiar with the basics of knowledge management and crisis management, including 9 sample samples available.

Objective MS is an inflammatory disease in which the myelin sheaths of nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord are damaged. Analysis of scientific publications of MS can show the scientific performance of the world in this important field. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze and evaluate the prevalence of this disease in the world in order to extract the pattern of scientific outputs Methods In this study, bibliometric and illustration methods from Web of Science database were used. We first selected the MS-related keywords from the mesh (medical subject headings). Then, by searching the database, global scientific publications related to MS were extracted in CSV format and data were analyzed and illustrated using citation analysis techniques with the help of Excel and VOSviewer software. Results A total of 1902670 documents were indexed by world researchers about MS in this database. The average citation per document was 2.60 and the average h-index of retrieved publications was 15. Most of the published articles were original and in English, and most of the articles by researchers were published in MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS JOURNAL. Lipro University was the most prolific institution in Europe and Kim MS was the most prolific author with 14503 degrees. Most collaborations were with researchers in the United States. The subject of neuroscience had the largest number of published documents Conclusion Finding showed that worldwide various research institutes with the main participation in the dissemination of information sources have conducted acceptable research in the field of MS.

The unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) represent one of the most important innovation technologies of the last years; the progress made in the field of sensors has allowed to equip the UAVs with various devices: high resolution digital cameras, multi-spectral cameras, LIDAR, sensors for air quality monitoring, as well as devices for transporting and distributing agricultural products, sanitary facilities, commercial products, etc. The equipping of drones with optical, radar and thermal sensors, in association with georeferencing systems, enabled to support scientific investigations in both agriculture and forestry research fields. In this perspective, the aim of this work is to analyze the scientific production of the last twenty years on the use of UAVs in agriculture and forestry research in terms of: number of papers, type of publications, journals, countries, scientific organizations involved, and keywords used. Results demonstrated that the UAV-based research is still largely fragmented, but with emerging topics, and that agriculture and forestry exploit different aspects of UAV technologies: the former mainly focused on precision farming and crop status monitoring, while the latter on laser and radar data for canopy structural analysis and vegetation mapping.

Background and Objective: Medical education is one of the most fundamental needs of human societies, and the quality and quantity of medical education and its improvement play a significant role in improving the health system. Therefore, in the present study, we will be mapping and analyze the mapping science of hot and cited articles in the field of medical education. Methods: The current research is descriptive-cross-sectional and using scientometric approach. The required data has been collected from the WebScience; the collection method is census type. The data were analyzed using the analysis section of the Web of Science and Excel version 2019 software was used to draw the tables. Vosviewer 1.6 software was used to mapping scientific and co-occurrence maps and to determine scientific clusters and formed co-occurrence clusters. Findings: The general map of hot and cited articles in the field of medical education in the last 11 years includes 5 clusters. The first cluster with the centrality of association and coronavirus in the second cluster, humans in the third cluster, and anxiety and health-care in the fourth and fifth clusters, respectively. With 9 articles, Iran has 12.2% of the hot and highly cited productions in this field. Conclusion: The results of the present study show the importance of medical education after the epidemic of covid-19 and the importance of issues related to the epidemic of diseases, the role of educational programs of universities in health care and also the importance of education about primary care. of patients with covid-19 and education about solving problems caused by stress, emotions and mental diseases.

This study aims to develop a comprehensive bibliometric overview of the publications on knowledge workers from the Web of Science database. The current research is of an applied type and has been carried out using scientometric methods and co-authorship and synonym analysis techniques. In this regard, 1609 scientific papers on knowledge workers were bibliometric analyzed in a descriptive-analytical study. A graphical mapping of the bibliometric material by using the visualization of similarities (VOS) viewer software has been developed in this work. The retrieved papers cover the years from 1938 to 2021. The results indicate an upward trend in the publication in the last ten years. This research demonstrated that keywords changed over time from focusing on key differences between knowledge workers and others to psychological factors related to employees and motivational factors. Drones have key applications in surveillance and security, especially in defence. The relevance of precision agriculture produced a growth of the related literature over the years. However, a structured analysis of the published material is still missing. Thus, this study attempts to analyze the global scientific output of precision agriculture researches published during the period 2000-2016. By using a science mapping approach, mainly based on the application of network analysis tools, it was possible to investigate pivotal aspects of this research field such as publication trends, research topics and their geographical distribution. Using the Scopus database 17,756 scientific publications were retrieved from the chosen period. The number of publications increased after 2006, highlighting the vibrancy of the field. By authoring 35% of the publications, U.S.A. and China were the most active knowledge producer countries. Moreover, the generation of time resolved maps allowed us to identify agriculture engineering, computer science and agriculture studies as three main research areas characterizing precision agriculture panorama. The paper discusses the distribution of these topics at global level, among European countries and in Italy. Overall, this analysis represents the first holistic view of precision agriculture research providing valuable information for farmers, policy makers and researchers.

This paper uses a Citespace-based bibliometric analysis of 4,617 articles from the Social Sciences Citation Index in the Web of Science Core Collection database to understand how advertising research has developed and evolved. The analysis began with deep data collection and expansion. Then, the research moved from the macro-level toward the micro-level, enabling observation of the ways that, while advertising research might have produced comprehensive theoretical findings based on a wide range of research, the field lacks a unified research community. Finally, the paper suggests three future research directions based on the results of the analysis.

Business model innovation has become an important way for companies to gain a competitive advantage and has been a hot research topic in the academic field in recent years. A bibliometric analysis, based on 600 articles retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection database from 2000-2019, was carried out to provide insights into hot topics as well as emerging trends in business model innovation. This article uses bibliometric methods and CiteSpace visualization tools to analyze discipline and institution, time series, keyword co-occurrence, keyword clustering, time line diagram, and time zone diagram. The study shows that the number of literature in the field of business model innovation has an increasing trend year by year, and generally focuses on the topic of value creation, with hot topics such as business model sustainability, servitization, small and medium-sized enterprises, and entrepreneurial model innovation. In terms of research trends, more attention is paid to the way traditional industries achieve sustainable operation and transformation and upgrading through disruptive innovation.
