When examining the co-authorship between countries, there is a parallel between the countries with a high number of articles and those with evaluations based on at least 5 publications and 5 citations. As depicted in Figure 3, according to the co-authorship relationship, the People's Republic of China and the United States of America are the most prominent in terms of publication volume. In contrast, Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Canada stand out in terms of average citations. Thus, as indicated in Table 2, the People's Republic of China and the United States of America are observed to have the most substantial international collaboration in the field of GIS. Figure 3.
