The first true monograph devoted to Henri Focillon (Dijon, 1881 – New Haven, 1943), Annamaria Ducci's book places the thought of one of the greatest French art historians in the vast intellectual context of the interwar period, thanks to a complete and critical rereading of his principal writings.

Мета — висвітлити та проаналізувати наукові, політичні, культурні, соціальні впливи, обставини й перебіг мандрівної історії М. Драгоманова у світлі його становлення як інтелектуала. Методологія дослідження спирається на поєднання аналітичних, компаративних і типологічних стратегій із репрезентацією М. Драгоманова як історика, громадського діяча та політичного мислителя. Розвідка побудована як сполучення і заразом нюансування кількох ракурсів і площин інтелектуальної біографії науковця. Висвітлюються основні колізії його мандрівки 1870—1873 рр., аналізується концепція поступу М. Драгоманова та його візія реформування / модернізації Російської імперії. Розглядаються його зацікавлення місцевими самоврядуваннями і провінційними літературами у Франції, Німеччині, Італії, Австро-Угорщині. Показано, що концепція поступу М. Драгоманова постала в дусі культурних патернів позитивізму, зокрема ідей пізньопросвітницького раціоналізму, космополітизму й гуманізму. Наукова новизна. З’ясовано, що візія М. Драгоманова щодо реформування Російської імперії спиралася на його концепцію поступу як соціальної, культурної та політичної еволюції. Ця візія передбачала політичну лібералізацію, державну децентралізацію, організацію місцевого самоврядування, справедливого судочинства, народної освіти за найкращими європейськими взірцями. Висновки. Мандрівна історія М. Драгоманова причинилась як до важливих світоглядних та інтелектуальних зрушень, так й усвідомлення можливого повороту його життєвого сценарію — політичної еміграції з Російської імперії. Відзначено, що політична концептуалізація М. Драгоманова акумулювала різні візії, зокрема О. Герцена, П.-Ж. Прудона, А. де Токвіля, Е. де Лабуле та ін. Обстоюється думка, що саме європейські рефлексії науковця спричинилися до формування його ідеалу державного устрою, котрому якнайкраще відповідала модель швейцарського федералізму, меншою мірою — конституційні системи Британської імперії та США.

A case study of Max Weber’s life and work illuminates a number of key themes of contemporary resilience studies. These themes include mental illness, professional failure, bouncing back, and even bouncing forward toward producing classic scholarship of Western social science. Based on Weber’s academic publications, personal documents, and the ever-expanding body of Max Weber scholarship, this case study traces his extraordinary personal trajectory from a deceptively promising start of his academic career to a mental breakdown caused by crippling personal dilemmas, a tortured recovery followed by a period when his sociological imagination flourished impressively. The path of Max Weber does not appear to be one of perseverance despite failure, but rather one of converting failures into opportunities for open-ended intellectual exploration free from conformity. By developing Weber’s narrative, the chapter challenges heroic views of resilience and instead proposes a perspective that accepts vulnerability and failure as constitutive of fulfilling lives. By tracing Weber's academic creativity along with his tortuous life trajectory, this case study offers students a pertinent “role model” for building resilience in pursuit of knowledge.

This thesis presents a comprehensive overview of Karl Marx’s legal education for the first time. Beginning with the young man’s first semester at Bonn in 1835 and ending with the final course at Berlin in 1839, the present work provides a systematic account of Marx’s courses along with his instructors during these four years in the context of the early to mid-nineteenth century legal culture. The reconstruction of this formal education and legal training, an aspect that has hitherto received limited attention, contributes to the burgeoning literature on the intellectual development of the early Marx. A lack of comprehensive documentation of this formative stage has been a major limit to any potential research into the figure and the sources of his thought. While law receded into the background of the later works, questions related to the field still remained ever present. After all, at this time the field of jurisprudence was inseparable from the very matters that would be of utmost importance to him for the remainder of his life: philosophy, history, politics, political and national economy, and civil society. But it is only on the basis of a clearly circumscribed context and reliable biographical data that meaningful and accurate claims about the pertinence or non-pertinence of contextual features can be made. By updating the profile and filling in the missing details of the man’s intellectual biography during this period of his studies, the thesis clears the way for future interpretive work to take place. The conclusion points to certain lines of investigation which may be fruitful given what we can now concretely say about the nature of his legal education. This historical presentation will prove particularly useful for thinkers interested in Marx and law, nineteenth century legal education and legal debates in Prussia, as well as the scholars of jurisprudence based in Bonn and Berlin beyond the more eminent professors, namely Friedrich Carl von Savigny and Eduard Gans.

В 1961 г. в «Литературной газете» была опубликована статья В. М. Турок- Попова «Историк и читатель». Автор статьи в качестве одной из главных проблем современной ему исторической науки назвал низкую популярность работ ученых за пределами узких рамок среды профессиональных историков. Причиной тому он считал их плохой литературный стиль, присутствие в тексте многочисленных шаблонов, схематизм. Тезис свой В. М. Турок- Попов продемонстрировал на примере анализа нескольких учебников
для вузов. Кроме того, он призвал к «очищению» научных учреждений от сотрудников, не вкладывающих сил в написание научных работ, назвав при этом нескольких своих коллег по Институту истории АН СССР. Статья вызвала бурную реакцию, породив длительную полемику на страницах «Литературной газеты».
Частью этой дискуссии стало организованное редакцией общественное обсуждение статьи с участием ученых (не только историков, но также физиков, астрономов, экономистов) и литераторов. А. Н. Гулиев обвинил автора в абсолютизации отдельных недостатков исторической науки, А. З. Манфред и В. П. Данилов утверждали, что критерии для оценки разных жанров научной литературы также должны отличаться. Большая же часть выступавших поддержала В. М. Турок- Попова, но при этом дала разные интерпретации его текста. Наиболее популярным стало мнение о необходимости активизировать работу по созданию научнопопулярной литературы (О. Н. Писаржевский, Е. Я. Драбкина, А. И. Бабенец). Часть участников восприняла текст В. М. Турок- Попова как протест против насаждения социологических схем (Л. Б. Алаев, П. А. Лисовский), некоторые из участников заговорили о необходимости обратиться к вопросам быта и повседневности людей прошлых эпох (Г. Б. Федоров), прозвучал призыв «творчески развивать положения марксизма» (В. И. Гольданский). Р. Ю. Бершадский заявил об ответственности историков перед обществом. В целом же прошедшее обсуждение свидетельствует о том, что в научной среде историков и лиц, связанных с ней, в период оттепели назрел вопрос о радикальном изменении прежней конфигурации историографического быта и, как следствие, нового перераспределения научного капитал среди акторов поля.

This paper explores the life and scholarship of Elisabeth Blochmann (1892-1972), a scholar of social pedagogy and historian of women’s education in Germany. Referred to as ‘The First Lady of Academic Pedagogy’, Blochmann was an accomplished academic in her own right but her legacy has been obscured by her relationship with the philosopher, Martin Heidegger. Their fifty-year correspondence is philosophically rich yet, unlike Hannah Arendt, Blochmann is often cited merely as a sounding board for Heidegger. Her own letters, ideas, and experiences have received very little attention in the history of philosophy and her work is known only to a handful of German historians. This paper presents previously unknown material on Blochmann from the archives of Lady Margaret Hall, the Bodleian Library Special Collections, and several German archives. These sources bring an entirely new understanding of her scholarly work and challenge prevailing assumptions about her philosophical influences. Like many German-Jewish academics exiled in 1933, Blochmann found refuge in Oxford where she became a tutor at Lady Margaret Hall until 1952. This twenty-year period had a profound impact on her personal and intellectual development yet details of her experience remained a mystery for German biographers. The sources in Oxford offer a window into her experience as a Jewish, woman, refugee which she struggled to reconcile with her deeply held German nationalism. Life in an Oxford woman’s college transformed her perspective on education and informed her later work pioneering democratic, progressive, and feminist pedagogy in German universities. Blochmann’s unique transnational encounters and involvement with the German Re-education Movement informed extensive contributions to comparative education studies. Far from being a deferent disciple, Blochmann was critical both of Heidegger’s conduct and his philosophy. She was devoted to the social pedagogy programme of her mentor, Herman Nohl, with whom she shared her dismay at Heidegger’s political decline. Her childhood friendship with Heidegger’s wife, Elfride, survived the war but she kept both at a distance after returning to Germany. Elisabeth Blochmann did not achieve the fame and influence of Hannah Arendt or, indeed, of many other contemporary philosophers. Yet, the material uncovered in archives shows that her life was extraordinary, of independent making, and deserving of recognition in her own name.

L’esperienza biografica e letteraria di Bernardo Tasso, racchiusa tra i due estremi del 1493 e del 1569, attraversa in larga parte la stagione rinascimentale, presentandosi come una delle vicende più significative per cogliere l’intreccio tra dinamiche letterarie e il mutare del contesto storico-politico. All’interno della lunga e frastagliata parabola tassiana, che tocca le principali corti italiane ed europee, una delle costanti è rappresentata dalla scrittura, in particolare da quella epistolare, alla quale Tasso affida il senso più alto della propria poetica, pensata in dialogo con le generazioni presenti e future. A partire da questo elemento fondamentale, il volume si articola in due parti complementari: una prima dedicata alla produzione epistolare tassiana, tracciandone la fisionomia, la successione dei luoghi e dei tempi, la scelta dei destinatari, la varietà tematica e la componente stilistica, con l’obiettivo di restituire le occasioni e la natura degli scambi; una seconda volta alla ricostruzione su base documentaria del profilo dell’autore, dalle prime prove letterarie e come segretario fino al conclusivo periodo mantovano, per ricomporre insieme una biografia esistenziale e intellettuale, riconoscendo a Bernardo Tasso uno spazio non marginale nella storia letteraria del Rinascimento.

This paper takes the reader on an extraordinary journey through the life of Max Weber. It is not so much a story of a social science classic as of an academic whose life and work can teach us about resilience, vulnerability, failure, and creativity.

Working within the vast world of Arabic poetry, writer, translator, and professor Huda J. Fakhreddine has done much to elucidate the movements of literary forms throughout history, the necessity of constantly interacting with tradition, and the inner universe of poems as they communicate and exchange with one another. Through her extensive knowledge and sensitivity to the capacities of poetic language, Fakhreddine has demonstrated powerfully that, as in a piece by her father that she translated: "Poetry is the deepest sea, distant yet more urgent than surf breaking on rocks." Here, in this wide-ranging interview, Alton Melvar M Dapanas speaks to her on the importance of form and meter, the necessity of removing Arabic poetry from reductive study, the ongoing engagement of reading and translation, and the intimate way she came to love and feel safe in the world of a poem. Alton Melvar M Dapanas (AMMD): Certain paradoxes and ironies made an impression in me after reading your latest book, The Arabic Prose Poem (https://edinburghuniversitypress.com/book-the-arabic-prose-poem.html) (2021): that the Arabic free verse, or the qasīdat al-tafīla, is not "free" in the way of its Anglophone (free verse) and Francophone (vers libre) counterparts, and that Arabic free verse poets like Nāzik al-Malāʾika and later on, Ahmad ʿAbd al-Muʿtī Hijāzī, are, surprisingly, the fiercest opponents of the prose poem. Huda J. Fakhreddine (HJF): Meter is the marker of poetry in the Arabic tradition, even if symbolically and not fundamentally. It is the fence that separates poetry from other forms-even those that have strong claims to the poetic. The modernist movement of the 20th century was the first organized and theorized effort to jump the fence of meter; this doesn't mean that the fence was not jumped before, only that it was not done so in such a collective and deliberate manner. The Arabic free verse poem was the result of that formal experimentation or innovation. But a more accurate label than "free verse" is qaṣīdat al-tafʿīla. The tafʿīla is the single foot or metrical unit, and a pattern of tafʿīlas makes up a meter in classical prosody. The modern poets no longer committed to the meters in their full patterns, but simplified them or reduced them to their building units (the individual tafʿīla), and often in qaṣīdat al-tafʿīla, the poem is built on a single metrical unit and its variations. The term free verse (al-shiʿr al-ḥurr) is thus confusing and not very accurate, since such poems still adhere to metrical considerations. The use of the term free verse is a testament to the influence of translation in the formative years of the Arabic modernist movement-though, as I argue in the book, translation was not that most decisive influence. I think the conversation with the Arabic poetic tradition, even when antagonistic and fraught, is really at the core of that movement, and is the real springboard to its most significant contributions. This is also why the term qaṣīdat al-tafʿīla is the most reflective of the movement's intervention in form and its thinking about the role of meter.

и международных форумах. Диапазон исторических исследований В. В. Алексеева широк и
самобытен. Их пик пришелся на конец XX — начало XXI вв., когда Россия переживала великий
перелом в своей истории, а профессиональное сообщество историков оказалось на распутье
советских и постсоветских трактовок судьбы своей Родины. В конце 1980-х гг. он основал
академический Институт истории и археологии на Урале и основал Уральскую академическую
школу историков, признанную ведущей в России.

An authoritative voice narrates Kristeva's life: Alice Jardine knows her subject extremely well, perhaps better than anyone writing in English. She was Kristeva's research assistant as a graduate student at Columbia in 1976 when Kristeva first went to teach there; she has conducted many interviews over a period of years and even visited Bulgaria with her. She calls her subject "an important personal friend." And I call this an important book. Jardine's close access to Kristeva is both a signal strength of this book and a possible caution: one might be inclined to task the work with a loss of objectivity. But from the start, it is perfectly clear that this is not that sort of biography. It is personal, and at times intimate-and this is appropriate for Kristeva, for whom the intimate ranks high among her subjects of inquiry. Where there has been controversy about Kristeva, Jardine is resolutely supportive of the positions she has taken. Examples include the criticisms coming from feminists who think Kristeva is a traitor to the cause and the recent claim she served as a spy named Sabina for the Bulgarian secret police. We read here an intellectual account: always factual and drawing on every available source, Jardine's opinions are formed by her research into her subject. The title is modeled on Kristeva's Au risque de la pensée (2001), and it is a good one because of the co-presence of the two key words: risk and thinking. Kristeva is a thinker-that is the foremost characteristic this biography extolls-but she is a thinker at risk: she takes chances, she pushes ahead and innovates at every turn, tries out the novel idea, studies it, and writes the book about it, at the risk of being badly understood and losing followers. As Jardine writes, "she theorized the problem she found herself living by writing a book about it." At the Risk of Thinking rests on the multifaceted elaboration of this reality about its subject, the "contestatory intellectual." Well organized, the biography is largely chronological, with stages of the life marked by Kristeva's books. There is a continuity in Kristeva's writing rooted in letters, syllables, words, and the sonorities of language, from childhood to the present, with "an increasingly precise and insistent vocabulary and an ever-increasing sense of urgency" (183). Part III, "Becoming Julia Kristeva (1980-Today)," details the Kristeva most known to current readers from the plethora of studies about her work. Skillful, succinct coverage of each of Kristeva's books portrays the fullydeveloped thinker, in 130 pages grouped by decades. Jardine's key point here is how Kristeva has "shifted slowly from analysis to […] advocating for a strategy based in a renewed secular humanism" (187). The end of Part III outlines the Sabina saga, confirming Kristeva's claims that she was never a spy: that was just not her life. Part I provides an affective account of Kristeva's early life in more detail than available elsewhere, the distinct influence of each parent on the smart little girl Kristeva was, her education in a French school, and the culmination of her childhood career in the French fellowship that allowed her to move to Paris in December 1965. Part II, "The Crazy Truth of It (1965-1979)," brilliantly demonstrates how the Kristeva of today was already present in the work of the seventies and the latter half of the sixties. The account of her activity during the heyday of structuralism and Tel Quel completes and corrects the picture drawn by many others of this period of intense intellectual activity. This part also provides insight into Kristeva's relationship with her husband, Philippe Sollers, and their disabled son David Joyaux. Throughout, what I admire most about At the Risk of Thinking is the author's finely nuanced, perfectly clear analyses of Kristeva's theories, concepts, and positions.

В книге рассматриваются истоки фальсификаций, основные приемы
фальсификационного творчества и их примеры. Приводится подробное описание основных методов исторического исследования, их использования в практике научного поиска. Особое внимание уделено работам, где рассматривается
история Воронежского края, также не лишенная в ряде случаев искажения и
ненаучных подходов.

Рассматривается роль историков-международников в миротворческом движении второй половины 1950-1980-х гг., в особенности в Пагуошском движении ученых. На опубликованных материалах и архивных документах, выявленных в Архиве Российской академии наук, анализируется интеллектуальный вклад историков-международников в организационное, риторическое и идейное оформление миротворческого движения. В центре внимания авторов оказались такие знаковые фигуры, как историк дипломатии В. М. Хвостов, британист В. Г. Трухановский, арабист Е. М. Примаков, американист Г. А. Арбатов, латиноамериканист А. Н. Глинкин, африканисты А. М. Васильев и В. Б. Кокорев. Наличный материал корректирует представление о том, что исторические символы играли важную роль в советской миротворческой риторике. Представленные историки-международники выступали в первую очередь как аналитики современных им международных отношений и крайне редко использовали прошлое в качестве символического ресурса. Фигура историка-международника, выполняющего дипломатическую миссию, отражала специфику советской дисциплинарной структуры, в рамках которой международные отношения со времен Сталина вписывались в систему исторических дисциплин. Если первые конференции были В. С. Груздинская, М. В. Ковалев, В. В. Тихонов 82 посвящены, главным образом, обсуждению угрозы ядерной войны и перспектив разоружения, то впоследствии круг обсуждаемых тем заметно расширился. Например с середины 1970-х гг. в деятельности Пагуошского движения все отчетливее звучит африканская проблематика. Это требовало привлечения к участию соответствующих специалистов. В статье демонстрируется эволюция советской аналитики международных отношений, представленной на Пагуошских конференциях, от идеологизированных приемов и аналитических конструкций в духе 1940-х гг. к более современной и прагматичной аналитики, свидетельствующей о росте уровня советских историков-международников. Con base en los postulados de Francois Dosse, el presente artículo tiene por objetivo analizar los vínculos entre la formación académica y diplomática del medievalista Luis Weckmann y la interpretación que realizó en torno a los vínculos entre la Edad Media y la conquista del Nuevo Mundo. En consecuencia, se estudiarán los elementos más significativos de su formación, las ideas que influyeron en su producción intelectual, como fueron las propuestas de Ernst Kantorowicz y Charles Verlinden, y su experiencia en la Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores y la Organización de las Naciones Unidas.

Based on the postulates of Francois Dosse, this article aims to analyze the links between the academic and diplomatic training of the medievalist Luis Weckmann and the interpretation he made of the links between the Middle Ages and the conquest of the New World. Consequently will be studied the most significant elements of his formation and the ideas that influenced his intellectual production, such as the proposals of Ernst Kantorowicz and Charles Verlinden, and his experience in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the United Nations Organization.

La capacidad transformadora de un museo precisa que acepte su naturaleza política y responda a los retos que enfrenta su comunidad. Las instituciones culturales no pueden desligar sus valores de lo que exhiben o comunican. Un museo es parte de la comunidad. En este artículo se explican las políticas del Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Vicente Aguilera Cerni de Vilafamés, que conducen a la creación de un espacio en permanente renovación de su colección, que es un claro reflejo social, que busca la interacción con el público al que se dirige, y que se define como feminista y actúa en consecuencia.

El presente artículo explora cómo el factor cultural se ha erigido como un componente estratégico de la proyección internacional para las ciudades. Se realizaron entrevistas en profundidad a los representantes de los museos estudiados, así como a representantes gubernamentales de cultura de Bogotá y Bilbao. Se llevóa cabo análisis de contenido en medios de comunicación representativos y en las páginas webs de los museos. Se evidencia que Bogotá aún carece de una estrategia de comunicación sostenida y articulada, que permita mejorar el posicionamiento internacional, mientras Bilbao muestra haber escalado exitosamente en su reconocimiento y proyección de Marca Ciudad.

In 2003, a serendipitous encounter set me on an unexpectedly long intellectual journey, lasting almost two decades, that resulted in Professor of Apocalypse: The Many Lives of Jacob Taubes, which appeared in English in May, 2022 and in German in December, 2022. Despite the fact that it is a big book (some 600 pages in the English edition and 900 pages in the German) about a somewhat obscure intellectual, it was very widely reviewed-with varying and sometimes surprising verdicts-in the United States and even more so in German-speaking Europe. Jacob Taubes (1923-1987) was an unfamiliar name to most English-speakers, and was only slightly better known in Germany. In terms of his substantive, lasting contributions, he was not among the most important intellectuals of his time. But his life, I thought, was among the most interesting. Scion of a distinguished line of Talmudic scholars and himself an ordained rabbi, he was an impresario of ideas. He was not only a scholar of apocalyptic and antinomian movements (hence the book's title) but an antinomian in the practice of his own life, whose inner restlessness led him from interwar Vienna to Zurich, Jerusalem, and several major American universities, and then to the faculty of the Free University in Cold War era Berlin, where he served as mentor to the student Left while befriending intellectuals of the radical right. Regarded by some as a genius, by others as a charlatan, Taubes moved among yeshivas, monasteries, and leading academic institutions on three continents. He wandered between Judaism and Christianity, between left and right, piety and transgression. Along the way, he interacted with many of the leading minds of the twentieth century, from Leo Strauss and Gershom Scholem to Herbert Marcuse, Susan Sontag, and Carl Schmitt. Twice married, twice divorced, and the protagonist of countless affairs; were his life to be filmed, it would have to be a mini-series, at least.

Цель диссертационного исследования – реконструкция интеллектуальной биографии С.Б. Веселовского, известного историка первой половины XX в. Работа основана на широком корпусе исторических источников разных видов (историографические источники, источники личного происхождения, делопроизводственная документация), в том числе неопубликованных (хранящихся в фондах АРАН, ГАРФ, РГАДА, РГАЛИ, РГАСПИ, НА ИРИ РАН, НИА СПб ИИ РАН, ЦГАМ). В качестве теоретико-методологического ядра диссертации привлечено источниковедение историографии, которое позволило детально изучить исследовательские принципы ученого, понять как способ презентации результатов научной деятельности С.Б. Веселовского вписывался в историческую культуру его времени. Показаны особенности сочетания классической и неклассической моделей исторической науки в научном творчестве С.Б. Веселовского, как в дореволюционную эпоху, так и советскую. Для более глубокого понимания исследовательских установок С.Б. Веселовского, выбора конкретного пути в изучении прошлой социальной реальности, были также эксплицированы его этические принципы как ученого. Данный вопрос был рассмотрен как в период кризиса классической модели исторической науки рубежа XIX – XX вв., на который приходилось его становление как историка, так и в советскую эпоху, когда ученый находился во внутренней эмиграции. Особое внимание уделено анализу «посмертной» истории научного наследия ученого как части его интеллектуальной биографии. С учетом существенного влияния его трудов на последующую историографию и образовательную сферу, сделан вывод о классикализации научного наследия С.Б. Веселовского в позднесоветскую эпоху.

This book is a survey of the contributions by Italian economists who studied and worked at Oxford and/or Cambridge between the 1950s and the 1990s. It is something less than a systematic Who's Who of the entire roll call of approximately 300 hundred economists who went to Oxbridge during this span of time (100 to Oxford, at least 200 to Cambridgethe estimate is provided by the authors), because not all of them eventually found a place in the story. But it is also much more than a Who's Who, as it tells the story of "the circulation and cross-fertilization of ideas" between Italy and Oxbridge, tracing the main sources of inspiration and the further developments of a number of economic concepts. The focus is on pure economic theory. Personal, institutional and policy implications are not altogether excluded, but remain in the background. The structure of the book centres upon two main chapters (Chapters 2 and 3), on Oxford and Cambridge, respectively, preceded by a brief introduction (Chapter 1) and followed by two short chapters (Chapters 4 and 5) on the celebration of Oxbridge scientists by Italian economists and institutions and on the influence of Oxbridge-Italian economists within the Italian scientific community and civil society. The authors left for themselves only a brief chapter (Chapter 6), just two pages long, to draw some "Conclusions". The early experience of Pasinetti at Oxford, until he moved to Cambridge in 1961, offers a good starting point for the story in the opening pages of Chapter 2, where the controversy with Solow on the analysis of technical progress and the resonance that this controversy and Pasinetti's parallel work on cycles and growth had in Cambridge are briefly outlined. Much space is then duly dedicated to John Hicks and his (and his wife's) special relations with Italy. However, it is on the intellectual, rather than personal relations between Hicks and his Italian students and friends that the authors dwell. The role of Francesco Masera, and of the Bank of Italy's Servizio studi, in creating a link with Linacre College is briefly mentioned. Luego de la caída del peronismo en 1955, se inició en la Argentina un proceso de cambios políticos, ideológicos y sociales que afectaron el escenario político y las identidades de sus protagonistas. En este contexto, el nacionalismo argentino se vio obligado a redefinir su identidad y su rol político en el nuevo campo de acción. Así, se percibe en las ublicaciones periódicas más representativas (AyB y los boletines de Tacuara) la manera en que el nacionalismo llevó a cabo estas reconfiguraciones a través del uso de dos estereotipos masculinos contrapuestos: el del militante ideal y su opuesto, el ser infrahumano identificado con el adversario político.

Недавняя книга Д.М. Володихина побуждает к размышлениям о путях развития и перспективах новой «науки о воеводах». Эта субдисциплина зародилась в конце 1980-х гг. на почве социально-политической истории. Развиваясь долгие годы в русле московской исторической школы, в настоящее время она вышла на качественно новый уровень, получив подпитку со стороны петербургской традиции изучения «феодальной» России. Однако единственным ее институциональным воплощением остается ученический круг Д.М. Володихина. В этом отношении новая книга ученого подводит итоги важного этапа аккумуляции тех подходов к анализу исторического материала, которые легли в основу воеводоведения на его нынешнем этапе. Дальнейшее развитие этого направления исторических исследований сопряжено с комплексным анализом и синтезом источников, а также новейших наработок и трендов современной историографии.

Mit diesem Beitrag beschreitet der Autor erstmals autobiographisches Terrain, indem er sich mit seinem eigenen akademischen und professionellen Weg innerhalb der qualitativen Sozialforschung auseinandersetzt und durchaus auch einige vor Beginn des Schreibens nicht erwartete Einsichten zu Tage fordert. Beim Erzahlen der gelebten Erfahrung wird sehr viel Wert auf deren raumzeitliche Einbettung gelegt. Die retrospektive Perspektive verbindet methodologische Reflexion auf den Erwerb und die Verwendung qualitativer Methodik mit dem Versuch, den Einfluss der "Lehrer" angemessen zu wurdigen. In gewisser Weise wird ein traditionelles Ubergangsritual dokumentiert, das qualitative Forschende durchleben, verbunden mit der Einladung an andere Forschende, die eigenen Autobiographien zu veroffentlichen.
