Mit Blick auf die unterschiedlichen Antworten – Verstaatlichung der Gefahrenabwehr, Einbeziehung zivilgesellschaftlicher Akteure und Privatisierung der öffentlichen Sicherheit – auf dynamische Bedrohungswahrnehmungen und sich wandelnde Sicherheitsparadigmen zeigt gerade die Geschichte Güterslohs, dass es unterschiedliche Ansätze, Gütersloh sicherer zu machen, nie ohne ambivalente Folgen und oftmals neue Unsicherheiten gegeben hat.

In the Dualist era, financial resources amassed or administered by the communes of Háromszék were drawn
in from a wide array of sources. The possible avenues for having these assets generate returns were far fewer
in number: the communes could choose to administer these themselves, create accounts in savings banks,
be members or customers of credit unions or, on occasion, acquire state-issued bonds. The legal frameworks
governing the workings of these communes discouraged taking risks, and the local administrations acted in
accordance with these, trying to serve, at the same time, the interests of local savings banks – sometime to
the detriment of the administration itself, as communal and county level conflicts of interests were not yet
properly regulated in this period. Village administrations would usually vacillate between small but reliable
returns and taking higher risks for higher rewards, which is to say, between opting for guaranteed liquidity
and reaping profit. There were instances of financial mismanagement as well; however, communal structures
of crediting were also often more considerate of the needs and means of the local community. Historiography
has posited for a long time that before the advent of commercial banking, there was only usury, but this is
highly debatable, and in actual fact, the popularity of the thesis itself would simply seem to be the result
of a successful marketing ploy employed by the new institutions. The dynamics and chronology of which
options for the ongoing generation of income the communes’ magistrates and representatives (would have)
preferred over time are not diffcult to follow, and they unfold interconnected with the waves in which local
commercial financial institutes were wounded.

Cieľom príspevku bol pokus o identifikáciu obrazov v zbierke SNM-Múzea Červený Kameň, ktoré v minulosti tvorili interiérové vybavenie pálffyovského kaštieľa v Smoleniciach. Napriek chýbajúcim dobovým opisom, inventárom či vyobrazeniam interiérov bola táto identifikácia čiastočne možná na základe identifikácie znakov predmúzejnej dokumentácie na rubovej strane obrazov. Príspevok približuje vzhľad, situovanie a chronológiu týchto znakov a interpretuje ich význam. Súčasťou príspevku sú aj zoznamy zbierkových predmetov, ktoré sa podarilo s istotou identifikovať ako pôvodné zariadenie smolenického kaštieľa.

Jednym z największych, trudnym do opanowania zagrożeniem były pożary, które wybuchając wśród drewnianej zabudowy zamieniały w popiół cały ludzki dobytek. Ogień pochłaniał nie tylko budynki mieszkalne, ale co gorsza także zgromadzone w spichlerzach i stodołach zapasy żywności. Artykuł jest pionierskim opracowaniem historii Straży Pożarnej w Rabce, w ramach którego, w wyniku dogłębny badań archiwalnych, ustalono datę powstania tej organizacji, wskazując rok 1895.

"Early Modern Fire" offers new perspectives on the history of fire in early modern Europe (ca. 1600–1800). Far from the background role that scholarship has traditionally assigned to fire, the essays in this volume demonstrate its centrality to understanding the entangled histories of science, technology, and society in the pre-industrial period.
Analysing case studies ranging from alchemy to cooking and from firefighting to fireworks, the contributors show that the history of fire is not only one of change and progress, but also of continuity, characterised by the persistence of traditional know-how, small-scale innovation, and the coexistence of different paradigms.

This paper deals with the collecting activities of
the Erdődy family, carried out in Hlohovec castle.
The rich art collections also included a separate
numismatic cabinet which was probably founded
at the end of the 18th century. Neither the cabinet
or the numismatic collections now survive. Using
an inventory, the author reconstructs its furnis‐
hing and probable functions.

Establishment of the numismatic collection of the Franciscan monastery in Bratislava.

he historical numismatic collection of Bratislava’s Franciscan monastery, unknown until now, was cre
ated in 1830. Its basis was the private collection of Father Kilián Kuruc, who in that year also edited its
manuscript catalogue, now deposited in the University Library in Bratislava. Father Kuruc was active in
academia and publication, and worked as a librarian in the monastery in his retirement. The numismatic
collection, which is not so big, was deposited for this reason in the local library, where it was probably
accessible to members and visitors to the monastery. It contained several hundred items. Chronologically,
it covered the period from Antiquity to period nominals. It also included several medals from the 18th to
19th centuries. In the following two decades, the collection was added to by small donations. We know
the names of the donors from more recent addenda to the above-mentioned catalogue. They were mostly
clerics associated in various ways with the monastery. The coins were mainly ancient and period nominals,
originating from their journeys abroad. A relatively large group of period nominals was directly related to
the revolutionary year of 1848.

De la zdrobirea seminţelor între două pietre, la moara sistematică de azi, omenirea a parcurs un drum lung, marcat prin numeroase etape de tranziţie. Morăritul e menţionat în ţara noastră încă din 1247 în Diploma Cavalerilor Ioaniţi, desigur sub forma morilor de apă ce sunt pomenite şi în documentele moldovene de la începutul secolului al XVI-lea 1. Morile de apă au avut o mare dezvoltare în trecut, răspândirea lor fiind strâns legată de existenţa apelor repezi de munte care le furnizau forţa necesară funcţionării. În secolul al XIX-lea morăritul era în floare. La începutul secolului al XX-lea se produc o serie de schimbări radicale. Apar morile cu aburi, cu care morile cu apă nu pot concura, ele fiind nevoite să fabrice produse secundare, şi astfel asistăm, încetul cu încetul, la căderea şi dispariţia lor. Morile folosind puterea vântului sau a apei şi într-o mai mică măsură cele industriale apărute începând cu sfârşitul secolului al XIX-lea sunt cele mai caracteristice şi originale exemple de instalaţii tehnice populare. Aceste mărturii valoroase ale patrimoniului industrial reprezintă un segment semnificativ al patrimoniului cultural naţional. Privatizări rapide, situaţia economică precară a proprietarilor, sau chiar perioadele de avânt economic reprezintă conjuncturi de natură să favorizeze demolări, casări, distrugeri rapide de patrimoniu valoros clasat sau încă nereperat. În aceeaşi categorie intră şi morile, indiferent de natura sau modul lor de funcţionare. Muzeul Judeţean Satu Mare a demarat la începutul anului 2008 un program pentru salvarea patrimoniului industrial de pe teritoriul judeţului Satu Mare propunându-şi într-o primă etapă identificarea, inventarierea, fotografierea şi realizarea de CD-uri, precum şi publicarea unor studii privind protejarea şi valorificarea acestui patrimoniu, urgenţe de salvare, propuneri de clasare, pentru câteva obiective reprezentative pentru dezvoltarea industrială a judeţului Satu Mare. Digitalizarea surselor de natură fotografică şi scrisă, includerea lor într-o bază de date, este eficientă ca mod de salvare a patrimoniului industrial mobil şi imobil aflat într-o stare precară de conservare, în condiţiile atât ale unei explozii a pieţei patrimoniului "invadate" de valori industriale produse uneori cu doar câteva decenii în urmă, cât şi ale pericolului distrugerii în contemporan a industriilor martor, depăşite tehnic şi considerate desuete. Prin intermediul cercetărilor de teren realizate pe teritoriul judeţului Satu Mare până în prezent au fost identificate o serie de obiective industriale de o relativă importanţă în vederea realizării unei evidenţe cât mai precise a acestor categorii de bunuri culturale. Cea mare pondere o au morile. Acestea erau prezente în majoritatea comunelor, sau exista cel puţin o moară pentru mai multe sate. Astăzi cele mai multe dintre ele sunt neîntreţinute şi părăsite, lăsate în paragină. În trecut morile aveau o capacitate mai mică de producţie şi erau în general construite în comun de mai multe rude sau vecini care puteau beneficia de produsele măcinate, fără a fi nevoiţi să se deplaseze în localităţi vecine mai mult sau mai puţin apropiate pentru a-şi măcina cerealele necesare pentru alimentaţia lor sau a animalelor. Mai apoi apar morile construite de diferiţi grofi sau conţi care aveau resursele necesare întreţinerii unor astfel de mori şi care deserveau întreaga comunitate de pe domeniul respectiv. Începând cu secolul al XX-lea şi în special spre mijlocul secolului încep să fie construite mori de o capacitate mult mai mare, mori care de cele mai multe ori se vor afla în proprietatea statului. În mori se măcinau secară, orz, ovăz, porumb, grâu etc. Se putea scoate o singură varietate de făină. Orzul şi ovăzul erau râşnite pentru animale, pentru porci se măcina mai mărunt şi mai moale, ca să se poată prepara apoi o zeamă mai lăptoasă. Făina pentru pâine era măcinată după tăiatul (frecatul)

Gheorghina olarIu "Arheologia industrială are ca obiect de studiu inventarierea, punerea în valoare şi prezervarea siturilor de instalaţii mecanice în domeniile artizanale, industrie şi transporturi, mine şi lucrări hidraulice, toate acestea în strânsă legătură cu istoria clădirilor, arhitecturii şi tehnicilor, cu etnologia, istoria economică şi culturală. Arheologia industrială are misiunea de a atrage atenţia asupra muncii, situarea ei în contextul social al proceselor de fabricaţie, al utilajelor şi al construcţiilor." Comitetul Internaţional pentru Conservarea Patrimoniului Industrial TICCIH (The International Committee for the Conservation of the Industrial Heritage) Teritoriul României este deţinătorul unui important patrimoniu industrial-imobil sau mobil, datând în principal din perioada secolelor XVII-XX. Pe lângă obiecte singulare valoroase, există obiective şi dotări care amintesc de toate fazele cunoscute ale evoluţiei industriale, de la cea pre-industrială, manufacturieră, industrială şi hiperindustrializată. După al doilea Război Mondial, odată cu instaurarea regimului comunist, obiectivele industriale existente au fost confiscate, dar nu au fost distruse, ci exploatate, uneori cu investiţii minime. Dotări tehnice excepţionale de la sfârşitul secolului al XIX-lea mai pot fi găsite încă funcţionând în România. Comitetul Internaţional pentru Conservarea Patrimoniului Industrial, susţine în preambulul Chartei Patrimoniului Industrial următoarele: "clădirile şi structurile construite pentru activităţi industriale, procesele şi uneltele folosite, oraşele şi peisajele în care sunt amplasate, împreună cu manifestările lor tangibile sau intangibile, sunt de o importanţă fundamentală. Ele trebuie studiate, istoria lor trebuie predată, înţelesul şi semnificaţia lor trebuie demonstrate şi subliniate în ochii opiniei publice, iar exemplele cele mai semnificative şi caracteristice trebuie identificate, protejate şi întreţinute, în sensul Chartei de la Veneţia, spre folosul prezentului şi viitorului" 1. Pornind de la acestea, în anul 2008 s-a demarat un proiect de inventariere, conservare şi punere în valoare a patrimoniului industrial din nord-vestul României, cu sprijinul financiar al Administratiei Fondului Cultural National (AFCN). În cadrul acestui proiect au fost efectuate cercetări de teren, în scopul identificării şi fotografierii obiectivelor industriale din judeţ, precum şi colectarea de informaţii în legatură cu obiectivele identificate. Având în vedere dimensiunile mari ale clădirilor şi utilajelor industriale, precum şi fragilitatea lor în contextul evoluţiei tehnologice, fotografierea reprezenta singura cale de salvare a acestora. Alături de cercetarea de teren s-a desfăşurat şi o intensă activitate de cercetare a documentelor păstrate în diferite fonduri ale Arhivelor Naţionale din Satu Mare şi ale Arhivelor Naţionale din Nyíregyháza, documente care conţin informaţii preţioase despre activitatea economică a zonei de nord-vest a României. Datorită informaţiilor provenite din sursele documentare s-au putut identifica principalele ramuri ale economiei din zona Sătmarului. Un alt aspect important care a putut fi stabilit prin cercetarea de arhivă este acela al identificării existenţei unor întreprinderi mici şi mijlocii care au funcţionat pe teritoriul judeţului nostru, dar care, din diferite motive, s-au închis şi chiar au dispărut, ne mai păstrându-se urme materiale ale activităţii şi existenţei lor. Sursele documentare ne-au oferit informaţii bogate privind activitatea economică desfăşurată în zona de nord-vest a României. Pe baza lor ne-am putut face o imagine asupra gradului de industrializare a acestei regiuni. Am putut stabili zonele în care activitatea industrială a fost mult mai dezvoltată decât agricultura şi invers. Le feu constitue une menace considérable dans les villes d’Ancien Régime. À Genève, après le gigantesque incendie de 1670, les autorités s’investissent dans la lutte contre le feu. La prévention des incendies revient en partie à la police des constructions. Dès la fin du xviie siècle, les magistrats veillent à règlementer les constructions et à réguler l’espace bâti. Cet article se concentre sur les mesures de prévention intégrées à la police des constructions dans la République de Genève.

The boot jack is a device that allows people taking off thier shoes simply, without having to bend. There are 17 pieces of boot jacks in the collection of the Tekov Museum in Levice. The report describes various design types of boot jacks with a more detailed focus on a trio of boot jacks with zoomorphic elements. They depict beetles of longhorn and stag family, which indicates the close connection of our ancestors with nature.

The contribution presents two collection items of the Tekov Museum in Levice, a wooden dose and a drawing of a Ross's Gull by Štefan Nécsey. Štefan Nécsey was a painter and illustrator. As an employee of the Hungarian Ornithological Center, he received an order from the Norwegian polar explorer, Fridtjof Nansen, to make a drawing of the Ross's Gull in The Norwegian North polar expedition 1893-1896 report. His drawing was rejected, but as a thank-you for the effort made, Nansen donated a wooden hand carved box. After the death of Štefan Nécsey, the drawing and the box were brought to Levice in 1927, along with other items. Štefan's father, Jozef Nécsey, donated an extensive family collection to the city of Levice, which became the foundation for the establishment of the City Museum.

In the Age of Dualism (1867–1918), due to the dearth or absence of other revenues, rural municipalities in the Háromszék region resorted to local municipal taxes, passing the financial burden of public expenses on the local population. These taxes constituted the primary source of revenue for the local government, both in terms of volume and extent, and their implementation varied greatly over time and settlement types. In former tenant villages and newly established settler villages, the transition from customary law-based tenant contributions (rovatolás) to nationally legislated supplementary taxes was relatively smooth. In villages predominantly populated by formerly military-rank Szeklers, the system of contributions was more complex, primarily because of the relatively late dissolution of the collective landownership. In these places, tax-like contributions could not gain ground because it was more profitable to generate revenues from the Szeklers’ own individual right to sell wine, which was essentially an indirect form of consumption tax. Another alternative practice was the imposition of a fee in exchange for the communal use of forests and pastures, paid by members of the village communities. The separation of the civil municipality and landowning community as legal entities put an end to these two sources of revenue but created the possibility of an efficient supplementary taxation. Local supplementary taxation acted as a leveller which noticeably blurred the boundaries between the settlement types that had evolved in the Estates system

The aim of the study is an analytical probe into the issues of collection development and cataloging activities of Signistics. Using the example of a collection of items related to the celebrations of October 28th, the author attempts to highlight the significance and contribution of these objects for further historical research, thanks to the explanation of the symbolism in the visual processing of individual badges. The method of the probe defined a set of collection items as a representative sample for research. Direct method in studying contemporary material provided factographic information, which is subsequently interpreted in the context of historical events. The contribution suggests that the collectible items categorized as small phaleristics, despite being on the fringe of scholarly interest, are a valuable testimony of the times and help to shape the image of the political, social, and even leisure time promotion of ideologies, events, and places. The author also strives to point out the importance of comprehensive cataloging of these objects.

The paper constitues an introduction to the first part of Istoria ieroglifică [The Hieroglyphic History], work by Dimitrie Cantemir, Prince of Moldavia. Written in Romanian language, in early 1700s, the book consists of twelve parts. It is, probably, the most complex piece of the old Romanian literature, an inexhaustible source of themes and characters, but also of historical information.

Az 1723. évi húsvétvasárnapi tűzvész Budán, pusztítása mellett a város későbbi tűzvédelmi intézkedéseire is nagy hatással volt. A hasonló erejű tűzvészek megelőzésére a város rendszeresen adott ki tűzrendészeti szabályzatokat, a tűzvédelmi eszközök őrzési helyeit is meghatározva. Pest első ismert, részletes szabályzata 1788-ban keletkezett.

W dniach 8-9 IX 1921 r. powstał Główny Związek Straży Pożarnych RP. Przypadający na ten rok jubileusz 100. rocznicy zjednoczenia ruchu strażackiego w Polsce stał się okazją do przypomnienia działalności związkowej poprzez szereg działań popularyzatorskich, takich jak wydanie monografii Związku czy wystawy. Tegoroczna rocznica stała się także okazją do zorganizowania w sobotę 24 IV 2021 r., w siedzibie Muzeum Niepodległości w Warszawie, ogólnopolskiej naukowej konferencji pod hasłem: "Rycerze św. Floriana. Bogu na chwałę, ludziom na pożytek. W stulecie Związku OSP RP". Jej organizatorami byli: Związek Ochotniczych Straży Pożarnych RP we współpracy z Muzeum Niepodległości oraz Muzeum Historii Polskiego Ruchu Ludowego, a patronatem objęli ją Prezes ZG ZOSP RP Waldemar Pawlak oraz Marszałek Województwa Mazowieckiego Adam Struzik. Warto dodać, że z powodu panującej pandemii sympozjum odbyło się w formie hybrydowej-nieliczne grono uczestników, z zachowaniem reżimu sanitarnego, obradowało w siedzibie Muzeum, reszta prelegentów uczestniczyła w spotkaniu online. Obrady transmitowane były na kanale YouTube Muzeum Niepodległości w Warszawie oraz na Facebooku Związku OSP RP i stronie www.zosprp.pl. Funkcję moderatorów podjęli prof. dr hab. Tadeusz Olejnik, dr Beata Michalec oraz dr Paweł Bezak. Punktualnie o godzinie 9.30 uroczystego powitania gości dokonali organizatorzy: dr Beata Michalec, wicedyrektor Muzeum Niepodległości, dr Janusz Gmitruk, dyrektor Muzeum Historii Polskiego Ruchu Ludowego oraz inicjator spotkania, przewodniczący Zespołu ds. Strategii Związku OSP-dr Marian Zalewski. Konferencję otworzył prof. dr hab. Tadeusz Olejnik, który w słowie wprowadzającym przypomniał o 100-letniej tradycji związkowej na ziemiach polskich, o potrzebie wypełniania testamentu minionych pokoleń strażaków oraz o ciągle zmieniającej się we współczesnym świecie roli i nowych wyzwaniach, jakie czekają strażaków ochotników. Następnie głos zabrali: Prezes ZG ZOSP RP Waldemar Pawlak (referat pod tytułem "Ochotnicze Straże Pożarne i ich Związek jako podstawa systemu bezpieczeństwa powszechnego kraju. System ochotniczy-samorządowy-państwowy. 100 lat jedności ruchu strażackiego"), Marszałek Województwa Mazowieckiego Adam Struzik (przedstawienie wielopłaszczyznowych pól współpracy między samorządem a ruchem strażackim); następnie dr Marian Zalewski odczytał list komendanta głównego Państwowej Straży Pożarnej nadbrygadiera Andrzeja Bartkowiaka, który odniósł się w nim do pięknej, stuletniej historii ruchu strażackiego. Głos zabrał także dr Janusz Gmitruk, który w syntetyczny sposób przedstawił, jak w 1921 r. doszło do zjednoczenia ruchu strażackiego. Kończąc część wprowadzającą dr Marian Zalewski poinformował o listach i przekazanych pozdrowieniach dla uczestników konferencji, między innymi od: prof. Marka Trombskiego, wieloletniego wiceprezesa ZG ZOSP RP, współorganizatora wymiany zagranicznej Związku; pułkownika pożarnictwa

Számos esetben kell lakott belterületen kívüli ingatlanoknál beavatkozni a tűzoltó erőknek, gyakran nehéz körülmények között. Látható, hogy tartósan növekszik a külterületeken életvitelszerűen élő lakosság száma, mind népszerűbb a tanyaszerű elszigeteltség igénye, de a városokból a természet közelébe költözés (Wildland-urban Interface megközelítés) is egyre inkább teret hódít. Jelen cikkben vizsgáltak alapján nem a klasszikus mezőgazdasági területek, hanem a tanyákon és egyéb lakott külterületen életvitelszerűen tartózkodó embereket érintő tűzvédelem növelése a cél. Immár egész évben számolnunk kell az ilyen területen fekvő építmények lakáscélú újrahasznosításával és így a kárelhárításban részt vevő szervezeteket érintő nehezebb kárfelszámoló tevékenységgel. Ezek adott esetben rendhagyó vezetői gondolkodást és speciális tűzoltótechnikai felszereléseket, nagy létszámú tűzoltó erőt igényelnek, és időben elhúzódhatnak.

The summer of 1854 saw a state-wide attempt of the Vienna government to raise loans to facilitate
running the empire smoothly, despite the enormous costs involved. During the course of the previous years,
there were similar government loan programs to address the various liquidity issues of the treasury; however,
besides the 1854 operation dwarfing these through the sheer magnitude of its scope, it also differed from
them in that it was also conceived as serving an additional propaganda purpose: as a voluntary, collective
undertaking of the empire’s citizens, the program was supposed to double as a centripetal force bolstering an
imperial brand of patriotism that could counterbalance the threat national movements posed to the unity
of the empire. Naturally, implementing the plan strictly on the basis of voluntary participation proved more
difficult than expected, especially in such renitent provinces as Transylvania. Therefore, the authorities began
applying various forms of pressure on individuals and local governments alike, a practice protesting which in
the recently pacified region was ill-advised. This study endeavours to look into the events surrounding this
government loan program, as well as its consequences in the Székely seat of Háromszék. While the operation
merits the historian’s attention in itself as well, a further aspect that is worth focusing on is its unforeseen
positive by-effect of allowing local governments to amass a capital that local quasi-institutions of crediting
could be built upon. Subsequently, this paper can further provide a partial explanation for the delay with
which commercial credit institutions appeared in the broader area, as well as a useful starting point for
continued research into communal crediting.

Príspevok približuje život zberateľa Pavla Košíka, ako aj prezentačnú a výstavnú činnosť, ktorá vychádzala predovšetkým z jeho iniciatívy. V texte sa budeme zaoberať aj predmetmi kultúrnej hodnoty z hasičských dejín, ktoré P. Košík získaval počas celého svojho života a ktoré sa neskôr dostali do zbierok Múzea Slovenskej republiky rád, dnešného Krajského múzea v Prešove. Keďže počet predmetov, ktoré múzeum v Prešove od Pavla Košíka nadobudlo, je veľký, dôraz pri ich analýze a popisovaní bude kladený na tie najcennejšie a najmarkantnejšie z nich.

Comparison of the Presentation of Tiles and Tiled Stoves in the Perspective of Museum Practice in Slovakia
This contribution provides a picture of the museum exhibition of historical tiles (from stoves) and the tiled stoves themselves. Even though tiles and tiled stoves are historically and technologically connected, they are treated differently in museum practice. The preserved tiled stove was originally an important part of the historic interior, which is the reason why nowadays it can visually demonstrate the taste of the original equipment (its style, colour, a measure of luxury). Tiles, which are the basic building element of a tiled stove, were not created as an autonomous artwork, but rather as a technical element with decoration. Today, finds of tiles are exhibited as separate artistically decorated objects in museums. Their decorative component makes them interesting from an art-historical, iconological, and historical point of view. They have a great potential in terms of the possibility of connecting art-historical and historical contexts. However, working with tiles and stoves (especially presenting it) brings different needs and problems. Tiled stoves represent a large element in the interior; therefore, they are difficult to manipulate with and often there is also a problem with their museum evidence. If they are not part of a suitable exhibition, their context disappears. Historic tiles are often exhibited together with archaeological finds (even the decorated ones), with a minimal amount of information, and their potential from an arthistorical point of view remains unused.

The Authors reflect on the series of articles titled 'Colouring Book', written by Károly Magó, published in the 'Aranysas' monthly aviation periodical. This series of articles was meant to refute the study published earlier by the Authors of this reflection in the 2014 MRT Yearbook and in the 'Haditechnika' military periodical, called 'Hungarian Multi-Colour Camouflage Scheme', with little success. The main points of the series of articles are investigated and refuted, one by one. With this, the Authors close from their side the controversy, which in the mean time has evolved in personal attacks against them.

Krátka prezentácia, v ktorej autor vo svojej dobe predstavuje Poštové múzeum v Banskej Bystrici a jeho zbierkový fond. Prezentácia bola odprednášana na filatelistických dňoch v roku 2015, ktoré sa konali v Banskej Bystrici. Je jednou z troch prednášok, ktoré v tom čase autor na podujatí prezentoval.

Krátka prezentácia, v ktorej autor vo svojej dobe predstavuje Poštové múzeum v Banskej Bystrici. Prezentácia bola odprednášana na filatelistických dňoch v roku 2015, ktoré sa konali v Banskej Bystrici. Je jednou z troch prednášok, ktoré v tom čase autor na podujatí prezentoval.

The author deals with a problem of duplicate collection objects in museum collections. This paper analyzes problems from point of view of museum studies and it states that this condition is not wanted. The main causes of duplicity in the museum's collections are analyzed and measures that can prevent further accumulation of problems are proposed. At the same time, however, the author raises a question – how to solve problems, and answers that the most important element in redress is a relevant amendment of legislative norms. Author based on the Slovak legislative Framework and from the basic premise that it is not possible to musealise the whole world, this means that he emphasizes the selection of such and such only potential collection items which valorizes a particular museum collection. Duplicate objects as such are not considered, because it does not bring further added value to the collection.

Krajské múzeum v Prešove Predmety z radov militárií, resp. predmety vojenskej povahy používané v dejinách, môžeme nájsť takmer v každom múzeu. Podľa ich konkrétnej povahy však nemusia byť v každej inštitúcii koncentrované do samostatnej zbierky. Príspevok približuje založenie, vývoj, ale aj súčasný stav zbierky militárií v Krajskom múzeu v Prešove. Zameriavam sa pritom na jej obsahové zloženie a podstatu, najvýznamnejšie predmety, ktoré sú v nej evidované, ako aj na spôsob ich prezentácie, resp. okrajovo aj na spôsob uloženia v depozitárnych priestoroch či v závere ďalšie možné smerovanie akvizičného procesu zbierky militárií.

Príspevok približuje vedeckovýskumnú činnosť na príklade minulých i súčasných aktivít na poli etnológie v Slovenskom banskom múzeu v Banskej Štiavnici. Stručne popisuje základné princípy etnologického výskumu a tiež názory na jeho význam nielen v štruktúre múzejnej práce, ale pre úroveň poznania spoločnosti. Predstavuje tiež múzeami menej využívanú možnosť zacieľovania výskumu na obdobie socializmu i dokumentáciu súčasnosti a na príklade SBM približuje využitie metódy orálnej histórie v tomto výskume.

Príspevok približuje rôznorodé spôsoby prezentácie
etnologického zbierkového fondu a montánno-etnologických tém
na pôde Slovenského banského múzea v Banskej Štiavnici medzi
rokmi 1989 až 2019. Bližšie predstavuje najmä najvýznamnejšie témy
a výstupy, či už výstavy, expozície, články alebo kultúrne podujatia.
Snaží sa sledovať podiel etnologických tém v odborných výstupoch
múzea a tiež vplyv striedania zriaďovateľov, štatutárov a kurátorov
na priority prezentačnej a výskumnej činnosti múzea.

V roku 1783 uverejnil Johann Bernoulli v 12. zväzku Sammlung kurzer Reisebeschreibungen (Zbierky krátkych cestopisov) opis cesty z Rakúska do Brna od istého G. E. v. R. Tento cestopis je cenný tým, že podáva opis viacerých miest Záhoria, ktorými cestovateľ prechádzal na spiatočnej ceste do Viedne. Skôr ako sa pozrieme na priebeh jeho cesty po Záhorí, ešte sa krátko zastavme pri osobe autora. Za iniciálami G. E. v. R. sa ukrýva Gottfried Edler von Rotenstein, avšak i jeho meno je pseudonym. Malo sa za to, že pod týmto označením cestopisy publikoval gróf Ján Pálfi (1744-1794). Najnovšie bádanie však identifikovalo Rotensteina s bratislavským lekárnikom Gottfriedom Stegmüllerom. Jeho spiatočná cesta cez Záhorie v septembri 1782 viedla po hlavnej komunikačnej tepne regiónu, ktorá kopírovala stredovekú cestu a na ktorej sa vyberal tridsiatok. Posledným mestom na Morave, ktorým prechádzal, bol Hodonín. Mesto s panstvom kúpil František Štefan Lotrinský v roku 1762 od Jozefa Cobora. Za Hodonínom prešiel v lese rieku Moravu a prišiel do Holíča. Práve Holíčskemu zámku s jeho priľahlými záhradami venuje Rotenstein najväčší priestor vo svojich záhorských zápiskoch. Opisuje k zámku priliehajúce hospodárske budovy, ako i množstvo alejí, ktoré sa od zámku rozbiehali do okolitej krajiny a farbisto vykresľuje honosné zariadenie zámockých miestností. Na ceste v smere do Bratislavy postupne navštívil Kopčany, Moravský Sv. Ján, Veľké Leváre, Malacky, Stupavu a Marianku. V ostatných zastávkach stručne popisuje dominanty daných lokalít, a to predovšetkým zemepanské kaštiele. Preklad záhorskej časti cesty: Zo Slavkova som prišiel do Hodonína, mesta so starým zámkom a cisársko-kráľovským mýtom. Pred štyridsiatimi rokmi toto mesto patrilo bohatému uhorskému grófovi Coborovi, ktorý mal príjem milión zlatých (guldenov). Teraz cisárovi patrí 16 dedín, veľa lesov a rybníkov a z toho má výnos 70 000 zl. Odtiaľ som narazil na rieku, ktorá viedla cez veľký les s mnohými kľukatými alejami až do Holíča, stredne veľkého mesta, ktoré leží v Uhorsku na moravských hraniciach; nemá žiadne hradby, má 5 500 obyvateľov vrátane 500 židov, farský kostol, kapucínsky kláštor, lekáreň, továreň na majoliku a veľmi krásny kráľovský zámok. Toto miesto so 16 dedinami a mnohými veľmi výnosnými lesmi a poľami patrí cisárovi, čo mu vynáša 90 000 zl. Skôr ako sa dostanete k zámku, prejdete štvornásobnou gaštanovou alejou so 128 stromami; potom prídete na veľkú pažiť a malú brestovú aleju. Jelen tanulmány az elérhető levéltári dokumentumok alapján próbálja meg felvázolni a család kiemelkedőbb tagjainak tevékenységét, valamint Potsa József egykori háromszékvármegyei főispán életművét.
A tanulmány első része a Potsa család múltjára koncentrál, tisztázva a hatolykai előnév eredetét. Bemutatja Potsa József életrajzi adatait. Ezt követően a szerző a főispán munkásságát tárgyalja témakörökre bontva: művelődés, oktatásügy, szociális ügyek, ipar és turizmus. Külön részt foglalkozik a főispánt érintő számos megemlékezéssel, amelyek még élete során megtörténtek, aztán folytatódtak a későbbi évtizedekben. A tanulmány utolsó részében a jelen és múlt összekapcsolódik, hisz egy olyan mű bemutatására kerül sor, amelyet első alkalommal 1899-ben, aztán 2007-ben és 2021-ben újból kiadtak, és amelynek létrejötte szintén Potsa József munkáját dicséri.

Ihre Geschichte, wie das Leben eines jeden Einzelnen, beschreibt einen kurvenreichen Weg, mit vielen genauen, entschlossenen und gut begründeten Taten, aber auch mit einigen Tiefpunkten, also gab es sowohl Zeiten des Jubels als auch Augenblicke der Verzweiflung. This article argues against the widespread view that collegia fabrum were voluntary
fire-brigades in the principate. This idea is based on famous correspondence between Pliny and Trajan in which Pliny requests the establishment of a collegium at Nicomedia, and a large number of inscriptions from the Latin West. This article argues that the inscriptions do not support a firefighting role. Pliny’s letter is ambiguous, and this article develops an alternative interpretation of the correspondence: that Pliny’s proposed collegium was intended to stimulate post-fire reconstruction in Nicomedia. The fabri’s ‘normal’ role as builders explains their public utility.

Czwarty tom wydawnictwa Kobieta na przestrzeni dziejów to
pokłosie kolejnej już konferencji o tym samym tytule, która regularnie
odbywa się w Filii Uniwersytetu Jana Kochanowskiego w Piotrkowie
Trybunalskim i z roku na rok gromadzi coraz większe grono
zainteresowanych kobiecymi aspektami historii ludzkości. W ostatniej
z nich, która miała miejsce w marcu 2022 roku wzięli udział nie tylko
studenci i doktoranci z wielu krajowych ośrodków akademickich, ale
także, w ramach panelu eksperckiego, utytułowani badacze zagadnień
kobiecych czy feministycznych.
W niniejszym tomie zaprezentowany został różnorodny zestaw
opracowań. Można tu wskazać omówienia doświadczonych autorów, jak
poświęcony Matce Teresie w kontekście nieoczywistych fragmentów jej
życiorysu, przygotowany przez doktora Michała Zborowskiego oraz
wymiaru mitologicznego postaci Partu Patimat doktora Błażeja Cecoty,
a także prace rozpoczynających dopiero swoją przygodę z działalnością
badawczą, np. Patryka Jasińskiego z zakresu historii regionalnej,
dotyczącej dziejów Rawy Mazowieckiej w okresie międzywojennym,
obserwowanych z perspektywy kobiecej.
W książce znajdziemy eseje o zdecydowanie ogólnym charakterze,
wprowadzające jedynie w tematykę, jak autorstwa Pauli Kowalczyk
dotyczący Ireny Kosmowskiej, artykuły badawcze, np. podsumowanie
poszukiwań na temat okoliczności śmierci polskich królowych związanych
z dynastią Jagiellonów autorstwa Weroniki Mieczkowskiej, a także takie,
które prezentują wstępny etap rozwoju naukowego młodych badaczy –
mamy tu na myśli chociażby omówienie wizerunku ideału kobiety
chrześcijańskiej na podstawie Historii Kościelnych pióra Bartłomieja
Stasiołka.
Studia pamiętnikarskie zaprezentowała Magdalena Berg w tekście
dotyczącym wizerunku legionistek polskich okresu I wojny światowej
i czasu konfliktów o granice II Rzeczypospolitej. Pracą źródłoznawczą,
opartą w głównej mierze o archiwalia jest natomiast artykuł Marty
Piotrowskiej-Sałbut na temat losu więźniarek obozu w Majdanku.
Z zakresu badań związanych z gender studies warto zwrócić uwagę na esej
Roksany Marii Łajkosz na temat ikonografii kobiet-
-potworów pochodzących z mitologii antycznych, takich jak gorgona czy
sfinks.
Tom dopełniają tekst Moniki Bujewskiej o kobietach w życiu
kardynała i prymasa Polski Stefana Wyszyńskiego oraz ciekawe studium
tyczące się zarówno historii, jak i wizerunku kobiecych formacji
strażackich w okresie Polskiej Rzeczypospolitej Ludowej autorstwa
Justyny Szablewskiej.
Mamy nadzieję, że różnorodna tematyka tomu sprawi, iż wzbudzi
on zainteresowanie wśród adeptów rozlicznych dziedzin poszukiwań
historycznych, a jednocześnie pozwoli skonstatować z jak obszernym
polem badań mamy do czynienia w kontekście działalności kobiet na
przestrzeni wieków.

In this paper, the author presents a comparative study on the medallions of 9 historical !ags of "re-"ghters, wheelwrights and farriers from di#erent towns in Timiș County. %e iconographic study of the medallions, exclusively those dedicated to the spiritual patron, Saint Florian, contains data about the morphological structure of composition, the symbolic elements represented, chromatic, execution technique and the current state of conservation according to age, functional wear and way of preservation. Saint Florian is associated, in the Central and Eastern Europe, with the extinction of "re. %e Saint is depicted in clothing of a Roman centurion commander (company), holding a red !ag in a hand and with the other one pouring water from a wash tub on a building in !ames. LInvariant du cadre bâti et de la construction, l’accident mérite d’être étudié dans une perspective historique plus systématiquement qu’il ne l’a été. Trois axes de questionnement sont privilégiés ici. Le premier concerne le rôle révélateur de l’accident, permettant de saisir une organisation qui ordinairement reste invisible. La deuxième porte sur la gestion, immédiate et différée, des conséquences de l’accident. Le troisième interroge les effets sur la prévention et la culture du risque.

Accidents are a constant feature of the built environment and construction, and deserve to be studied more systematically than they have been in the past. Three lines 273 of enquiry are highlighted here. The first concerns the role of accidents in revealing an organisation that is usually invisible. The second concerns the management, both immediate and delayed, of the consequences of the accident. The third looks at the effects on risk prevention and risk culture.

The paper explores the main features of the current expenditure and revenue of the villages belonging to Háromszék County between 1880–1914. Based on the volume of principal amounts, three periods are delimited with clear characteristics on both the income and costs sides. While in the first stage the village mostly relies on the wealth of public ownership, in the years before the Great War the additional tax became the dominant material source. In the early days of the civil era, spending was limited to what was the most needed, then the Central Government's modernization efforts have placed an increasing burden on rural communities. Two main groups of sources are put to use: the annual budgets and accounts, respectively the municipal decisions that apply to every new item of expenditure and revenue.
