PROCEEDINGS OF THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON SUSTAINABILITY

Abstract
The International Society for Sustainability (ISS) organized the International Conference on Sustainability (ISS2024) in Victoria Falls Zimbabwe, 16-20 December, 2024. The conference aimed to provide a forum for exchange of ideas between academics, researchers, practitioners, consultants and industry in sustainability related areas. The conference also provided a potential networking and collaborating platform for current trends in sustainability. Authors submitted papers in line with the paper template or the abstract template. All full papers underwent a peer review process and accepted papers will be published as Conference Proceedings and indexed on Google Scholar and ISS Index. She currently holds the position of Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Geography, Environmental Management and Energy Studies at the University of Johannesburg. She began her career in 1997 as a Junior Geography Lecturer at Vista University, Soweto campus. Kelso has supervised a number of Masters and PhD students in topics focusing on rural livelihood vulnerability and change, on the interface between conservation and local communities and on the gendered nature of the impacts of climate change in rural communities. Underlying these research foci is the central aim to identify sustainable and equitable solutions to complex environmental and social problems. Dube is the Secretary General of the National Standards Users Society Zimbabwe (NSUSZ), GOMRY Investments Managing Director, Associate Consultant for EDU Dynamics Business School, past SAZ Head of Marketing and Business Development, worked for Nestle Zimbabwe as National Sales/Marketing & Supply Chain Manager. Godfrey holds three Masters degrees (Master of Business Administration (MBA) Master of Science in Governance and Leadership, Master of Arts in Marketing Degree and a PhD with reference to customer satisfaction. He holds several diplomas and certificates including a post graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK). He is an ISO 26000:2010 GUIDANCE ON SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY STANDARD TRAINER. MAZ, ZIM part-time facilitator. Godfrey was a part time MBA senior lecturer on the Nottingham Trent University and University of Gloucestershire MBA programmes. He holds an IODZ Advanced Certificate in Company Direction, IODZ Certificate in Company Direction. He is a Fellow of ZIM, a Fellow of MAZ, past CZI membership and marketing committee member. First registered as a Chartered Marketer (CIM, UK) in 2005. He is one of the pioneers, past president and current Chairman of the Advisory Council of MAZ, Board member of ALMA BDC, Past board member of Pro-Health services and Bindura university marketing department. He was honored by the Business Connect as one of Zimbabwe's ICONIC Business Leaders in 2021 and 2022. In September 2023, Godfrey was conferred with the honorary membership by the AFRICAN MARKETING CONFEDERATION (AMC) in Uganda-the highest honor. He is a SAATCA Honorary member and holds a certificate in Quality Infrastructure from SWEDEN and a number of standards training certificates. ©International Society for Sustainability
