Abstract

The current state and future directions of numerous facets of contemporary number theory are examined in this book ”Fundamental Perceptions in Contemporary Number Theory” from a unified standpoint. The theoretical foundations of contemporary theories are unveiled as a consequence of simple challenges. Additionally, this book makes an effort to present the contents as simply as possible. It is primarily intended for novice mathematicians who have tried reading other works but have struggled to comprehend them due to complex reasoning.

Kannan is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College (Autonomous), Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu, India. He completed his school studies in Puliyankurichi Village, Salem district, Tamil Nadu, India. Later he moved to National College (A) and Bharathidasan University (Trichy, Tamil Nadu, India) to complete his undergraduate and postgraduate studies as well as M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes in Mathematics. Currently, he is guiding Ph.D. research scholars. His areas of interest in research are Number Theory, Topology, Cryptography, Mathematical Analysis, Matrix Theory, and Graph theory. He is a Life Member of the Ramanujan Mathematical Society since 2021. Dr. Manju Somanath is an Assistant Professor (SG) in the PG and Research Department of Mathematics, National College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India. She has received M.Sc. degree from Cochin University of Science and Technology and B.Ed. from Kerala University. She has been awarded M.Phil. and Ph.D. from Bharathidasan University, Trichy. Currently, she is guiding Ph.D. research scholars. Her fields of specialization are Number Theory, Functional Analysis, Complex Analysis, Differential Equations, and Topology. She is a Life Member of the Ramanujan Mathematical Society.
