This work, written in Bengali, is done aiming to describe Muslim and Non-Muslim relationship in Bangladesh in a scholastic way. Discussing the advent and development of Islam in Bangladesh, the study goes to reveal the interfaith harmony of the country. How the Non-Muslims are treated in the past and in present as well, what are the social relation among the followers of of different faiths and what the constitution and Laws of Bangladesh deal with its citizens of different religious population, what is the basis of good integrated religious harmony in Bangladesh - these are the core area of the research.
Moreover, the present scenario of interfaith relation in Bangladesh is also evaluated according to the principles of Islam, so that the Muslim community, approximately 90 percent of total population of Bangladesh, can understand the reality of Islamic norms and values in their practice. In some extent, it also helps people to know about the essence and beauty of Islamic regulations in Inter-religious peace.
Probably, it is the first step to clarify and assess the situation of various religious groups in Bangladesh in the light of Islam. The scope and area of research cover almost all of the major religions except the tribal religions and its followers. With a field survey among the people of different religions the study tries to be authentic and not prejudiced. However, this work can pull the trigger for the future research in this field.

Ev... more Prisoner of War (POW) is one of the most burning issues to the humanism since time immemorial. Even in this post modern era, we are very much concern about the issue. How to treat with the POWs, what should be their future and in which process they can be released - these question have had great importance in this regard. the world thinkers have tried their best to give solution of this matter in the humanitarian ground. Islam, the complete code of life, has also given a clear iea in this context. Muslim scholars have outlined its principles according to the Holy Text of Islam and the practices of Prophet (pbuh) and his Companions in wars. This Article is an attempts to discuss the behavioral rules of Islam with the POWs and the way of making final decision about them. This article is not the original one in this regard, but surely, it carries some importance to think and to go forward for further research.

Everyone strives for the peace, which can be established only on the absence of conflict. So, naturally, the presence of various conflicts in our life cycle, from the very personal level to the greater field of international arena, and the process to avoid or resolve these have been taken as a major concern by the social thinkers. In this context, Muslim scholars also give their thoughtful suggestions on the principles and methods of conflict resolution according to the Islamic ideology that basically consists of the Quran and tradition of the prophet (pbuh). In this paper, among these two core sources of Islam, the traditions of prophet (pbuh) are described to some extent that would be helpful to provide a new look to conflict management. This paper is also an attempt to present proper evidences from the history for the settlement of disputes of the current world. With the comparison of conventional and Islamic process of conflict resolution it also can help to add suitable dimensions in this regard.

We are now entering into the post modern era, yet environmental degradation exists as a major concern. Though it touches the mind of all the key thinkers, it seems to remain a threat. With the help of world organizations and governments, we are trying to get rid of this problem. But if the people of all walks of life do not become conscious about the prevention of such kind of degradation, obviously these will not have any result. Islam, one of the major religions of the world which have, as followers, one fifth of world population, can play an important role in this regard. Its rules-regulation and moral lessons may inspire people on these issues so that we can implement our policies to protect the environment and make our earth suitable for the upcoming generations. In this context, here the solutions and preventing measures of Islam for removing environmental degradation are described elaborately.

The notion of God or a creator is, probably, one of the preliminary questions of philosophy and human thought. And, perhaps, God is also the utmost answer of the thinkers for the limitation of human knowledge. The other word, religion, is the most influential social institution of the world that covers all aspects of human life and most importantly, gives solutions, though debatable in some extent, regarding the human curiosities about the nature. Finally, Science; without which we can't go a day, and even a minute, has nothing to talk about its importance and extension.
