The rapid of internet and social media users have changed the way people interact in their daily ... more The rapid of internet and social media users have changed the way people interact in their daily activities. For example, banking and retail began to use various social media, especially online media such as tweeter. The problem that arises is how to get information from thousands and even million data generated through social media, to be a decision as in predicting consumer satisfaction of the service or product.Another problem is the social media users in communicating using slang or local language. In sentiment analysis to predict the sentiment is not easy because it must be able to identify the words. In sentiment analysis, to overcome these problems the method used is text mining so as to process opinions from social media. The proposed approach is to analyze optimal term weighting between TF-IDF, frequency term (TF) and Binary Term Occurrence (BTO), using SVM algorithm. Target feature extraction for selection of datasets by predicting positive and negative sentiments. The result of weighting of terms approaching sentiment is using TF-IDFwith SVM.

The development of technology in various fields encourages the development of information technology in producing information that is useful for supporting decisions in the community, institution or organization. In order to produce effective and efficient decisions, a system is needed that is able to process data into appropriate information. One of the developing technologies is cellular telephone technology. Information could be accessed easily and quickly.by using cellular telephone technology. Recently, at the Cikarang Meta Industrial Polytechnic institution there is no WAP-based information system that process student's grade. WAP based technology is implemented in order to help students or web administrator getting information anywhen and anywhere as long as using their cellular phone. This research uses research method including data collection, library studies, design, programming, testing and system implementation. The programming language used is Wireless Markup Language and PHP with MySQL database support. At the testing and implementation stage, the system could be accessed by web administrator using only the website while information about student's grade could be used using cell phones and websites. The final result of the research is to have an information system, where students could get the student's grade using cellular phones and websites. ABSTRAK Teknologi Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) merupakan penggabungan antara teknologi internet dengan teknologi nirkabel sehingga untuk mengakses informasi bisa dilakukan dimana saja selama terhubung dengan internet dan menggunakan media nirkabel. Perkembangan teknologi diberbagai bidang mendorong berkembangnya teknologi informasi dalam menghasilkan informasi yang berguna untuk pengambilan berbagai keputusan penting baik di masyarakat, institusi atau organisasi. Untuk menghasilkan keputusan yang efektif dan efisien dibutuhkan sistem yang mampu mengolah data menjadi informasi yang tepat guna. Salah satu teknologi yang berkembang adalah teknologi telepon selular. Dengan teknologi telepon selular, informasi bisa diakses dengan mudah dan cepat. Pada institusi Politeknik Meta Industri Cikarang belum adanya sistem informasi pengolahan nilai mahasiswa berbasis WAP. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi berbasis WAP bertujuan agar informasi nilai mahasiswa dapat diakses oleh mahasiswa atau web admin kapanpun dan dimanapun menggunakan telepon selular. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan meliputi pengumpulan data, studi kepustakaan, perancangan, pemrograman, uji coba dan implementasi sistem. Bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan yaitu Wireless Markup Language serta PHP dengan dukungan basisdata MySQL. Pada tahap pengujian dan implementasi, sistem dapat diakses oleh web admin hanya menggunakan website sedangkan untuk mengakses informasi nilai mahasiswa dapat menggunakan telepon seluler dan website. Hasil akhir penelitian yaitu menghasilkan sistem informasi, dimana mahasiswa dapat melihat nilai menggunakan telepon selular dan website.
Data compression is a technique to reduce the size of the data so it could save space on data sto... more Data compression is a technique to reduce the size of the data so it could save space on data storage. There are two approaches in compressing data. These approaches are Lossy and Lossless. In this paper, Lossless data compression approach has been applied to reduce the size of text data. There are some algorithms to compress text data such as Bit Reduction, Huffman Coding, and LZW. Previous researchers have made various attempts from these three algorithms by combining two of these algorithms to obtain the better compression ratio and better saving percentage. This paper only focus in the compression technique although the decompression technique has been made into the same program. There are six combinations of text compression techniques in three stages. Combination of LZW and bit reduction gave best compression ratio among the other combination of two stages. In addition, Combination of LZW, bit reduction and Huffman gave best compression ratio among the other combination of three stages. The combination of the three stages has a compression ratio that is better than the combination of two stages. Compared to the combination of two stages, Combination of bit reduction, Huffman and LZW improved compression ratio that is better than other combination of three stages.

Actually, finding relevant information is more difficult than just looking for information. The presence information retrieval (IR) system is a system for automatically searching the relevant information to the user needs, which is expressed in the required query, and this query will be used as an input and processed by IR system and then will get relevant documents to the required query. One of methods of finding relevant information by query is term weighting by both query and document. The commonly used methods are the term weighting of local and global weighting, while the local term weighting algorithms that are used such as TF, TF logarithmic, binary TF and augmented TF and global weighting is IDF, IDFP, IDFB. In this research, besides of comparison of term weighting algorithms, it is also proposed new improvement in term weighting algorithms by adding global weight value that changes base 10 logarithmic to base 2 logarithmic and adds the number 1 in the global term weighting IDFP. Measurements result of this research are Precision, Recall and NIAP. In This research, the best result for precision and NAIP have been performed by new propose term weighting algorithms. After compare and analyze the result of the weighting algorithms. It is necessary to combine the weighting with semantic algorithms so that it will get better result.

Dengan menggunakan satu algoritma yang sama, dapat dihasilkan aplikasi yang output intinya sama yang dibuat oleh 3 bahasa pemrograman yang berbeda. Ada 3 contoh aplikasi sederhana yang dibahas dalam buku ini. Buku ini tidak membahas detail bagaimana membuat program dari NOL dengan langkah-langkahnya, melainkan ini adalah buku pendahuluan yang menekankan bahwa sebelum belajar membuat program, ada baiknya para pemula ini lebih mengutamakan konsep algoritma dan implementasi Mind Map dalam menjawab permasalahan-permasalahannya nantinya sehingga menjadikan para praktisi yang mandiri dan mengkedepankan analisa yang tingga, tajam dan akurat.

The development of Android-based applications has grown rapidly over the past decade. In addition... more The development of Android-based applications has grown rapidly over the past decade. In addition, robotics-based hardware technology connected to the Internet (IoT) has also developed. Smart home technology today is a technology that collaborates android applications with IoT devices. This IoT-based smart home technology controls home electronic devices based on commands given through the android application. Google is one company that has implemented smart home technology both with button commands and with the human voice. This research was conducted to provide optional solutions such as Google's smart home technology to easily and quickly develop android applications that can control home electronic devices using IoT devices connected to the Internet. The home electronic device used for this research is an electric lamp. The android application editor used to develop applications is App Inventor. Block-based programming makes it easy for users to create android applications without having to have experience in programming. The IoT module used is using the nodeMCU device. This device communicates with wireless access point devices that are connected to the Internet. The test is done by pressing a button or voice command on the android application. This command will be converted in text form and sent to firebase. This text data is read by the program in the IoT device and sends a signal to the lamp to turn on or off. The result of this research is a prototype that is simple, easy, fast and cheap both in implementation and development. This prototype makes it easier for someone to develop this smart home technology so that they can control home lights.
