
Benoit Marinus
Benoît G. Marinus earned a M.A.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering at the Royal Military Academy of Belgium (Brussels, Belgium) in 2002 and fruitfully attended the Diploma Course at the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics in Belgium (Rhode-Saint-Genèse, Belgium) in 2007. Consecutively, he earned a PhD degree from Centrale Lyon (Lyon, France), the Royal Military Academy and the von Karman Institute in 2011.
His major fields of interest concern external aerodynamics, acoustics, multidisciplinary optimization, propeller aerodynamics and aeroacoustics, propeller-wing interaction, propeller aircraft design, as well as UAVs and mini-UAVs.
Lieutenant-colonel Marinus holds a position of Professor at the Royal Military Academy of Belgium and Guest Professor at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Ghent University.
