- 2023년 12월 11일, 2집 1주년 기념 포스트를 올린 당일, 캡션에 LANA라고만 적힌 포스트를 6개나 올렸다. 모두 정사각형 비율에 아래쪽에 Explicit Content 로고가 있는 것으로 보아 앨범 커버들로 추정된다.
- 12월 23일, 평소와 같이 거울샷을 올리며 "내가 너네에게 알려준걸 후회하게 하지마. 나는 15일에 아무것도 나온다고 한적 없어. 진정해"라는 내용의 댓글을 남겼다.
- 2024년 2월 22일, 싱글 "Saturn"을 발매했다.
- 12월 10일, 인스타그램에 LANA의 티저 영상을 올렸다. 앨범 커버의 텐트에서 나와 노상방뇨를 하는 다소 민망한 영상이었지만, The Isley Brothers의 Voyage to Atlantis를 샘플링한 사실이 알려져 많은 팬들을 기대하게 하였다.
- 발매와 동시에 머천다이즈 판매가 개시되었다. CD, 바이닐, 티셔츠, 후드티를 판매하고 있으며 가격 등 자세한 내용은 링크 참고.
- 최소 명작 최대 준 클래식으로 평가 받는다. 기존 앨범들이 R&B 안에서 다양한 장르들을 넘나들었다면 이번 재발매의 신곡은 일관성있고 따뜻한 사운드를 보인다.
- 아날로그 신디사이저를 기반으로 소울 발라드 템포를 적극적으로 사용했기에 언뜻 보면 지난 앨범보다 힘을 덜 줬다고 생각될 수도 있으나 느긋하고 여유로운 음악을 통해서도 자신이 전하고자 하는 것을 확실히 보여주며 자신이 왜 R&B 대세인지를 증명했다.
- 또한 자연친화적인 모습과, SZA가 기존 곡들에서도 그러듯 자신의 속내를 가사에 여과없이 드러내며 더욱 공감을 사는 앨범이라는 평이 대부분이다.

- 앨범의 타이틀은 SZA의 본명인 Solána Imani Rowe에서 만들어진 별명인 Lana를 사용했다. 이 별명은 SZA가 첫 타투를 할 때 가진 돈에 맞추기 위해 이름을 4글자로 줄여서 생겼다고 한다.
- 1월 6일 추가곡이 산불 등 복합적인 이유로 연기되었고[15] 이후 2월 7일, LANA 공식 홈페이지에서 슈퍼볼 퍼포먼스에 맞춰 동부표준시 2월 9일 오후 7시에 추가곡을 발매할 것을 알렸다.
