Still, its learning is often barred by students who judge it as complicated or tedious. If necessary, a reflection on the need to change the way of teaching Mathematics, stimulating students, and using new strategies and means to bring the student's interest, in the most different realities, into the classroom. This study was carried out seeking to verify if there is difficulty in learning Mathematics for medium school students and aims to bring some alternatives to make classes more attractive, intuitive, and differentiated, proposing the use of games or electronic equipment because the teacher must know how to conduct the course, based on the student's reality, respecting their cultural baggage and social experience, in addition to seeking more current alternatives that are interesting to young people.

However, it has to have a good project since the lamp selection, light fixture, and landscaping can contribute to social and economic development with quality, preventing crime and helping the organization of the city. Furthermore, with conscious use of existing technologies can also reduce environmental impact and strengthen sustainability with conscious consumption, use of environmentally harmless materials, and reducing energy costs. Although, technological selection based on partial data or manipulated by economic groups can lead to misguided choices, especially in the government. This is the case of new LED luminaires, where the old manner used in conventional lamps which analysis was done by the quantification of Lumens, Candelas, or efficiency, can no longer be applied because we must be based on adequate lighting in the effective application Lighting.

Still, there is a need to implement interdisciplinarity within different fields of education, especially in integrating health with disciplines that manage city planning, to train students of higher education more qualified to facilitate and increase the quality of life and well-being of the local society. For example, accessing health knowledge during the Architecture and Urbanism course is essential to construct healthier spaces. The target is that students can spread these ideas to other professionals and society by promoting collective discussions to produce better work for the community by forming diversified teams with representatives of the University, society, and government. This is given the relevance of the issue where more effective Urban Planning can be carried out about health and society, with a more egalitarian city that promotes well-being, happiness, and a better quality of life for its inhabitants. And get good planners who use their knowledge, skills, and attitudes to be competent to develop coherent strategies for each type of society. Nevertheless, the composition of other areas from the undergraduate to the graduate courses is essential in the student's training process, contributing to a more interdisciplinary and intersectoral vision, especially concerning urban planning and aiming at the healthy.

In light of the theme relevance in the face of the current scenario, based on the need to know the current scientific publication related to this subject, quantification, and systematization research was carried out on scientific articles that approach the subject in focus, in addition, to verify from which areas and institutions these published works are. In this way, this article reports a study based on the bibliographic review methodology related to a predetermined period and scientific bases amount in order to delimit a new field of study. From this methodology, it was evaluated the current bibliographic production in Latin America within the time frame between the years 2005 and 2016. Through the research stages establishment, which included the interrelationship of the keywords quality of life, urban planning, and healthy municipalities in determining the study scope, it was possible to observe a progressive production growth related to the healthy city in the period covered by the study. On the other hand, the research pointed to a restriction related to the areas that deal with these issues, and thus the need for them to be expanded since interdisciplinarity is one of the pillars of the theme presented here. Therefore, the results and reflections from this study can support other researchers' development insofar as the bibliographical references turned up convergent, being possible to perceive the need for constant research.

T... more The sectorial view of cities' structural compositions reflects a deficient urban space dynamic. Therefore, cities must promote participatory intersectoral actions, stimulating individual and collective potential, aiming at urban development from the perspective of a healthy city. Through the descriptive method, qualitative data were used to carry out the methodological path through the Urban Investigations Laboratory - FEC/UNICAMP and the Urban Planning and Healthy City Study Group, using urban gardens in the city of Conchal (SP) for study. ). Using the Statute of Cities (2001) and the National Health Promotion Policy (2014) as theoretical framework, field research was carried out through interviews, photographs, and testimonials from the population. It is observed that the community garden is an urban planning strategy that aims to use urban voids to promote improvements in the quality of life. The community garden contemplates social participation and intersectionality, promoting Healthy Cities.

The appropriation of urban space by the community through public policies to prevent the illegal ... more The appropriation of urban space by the community through public policies to prevent the illegal occupation of risk areas, such as slopes and wetlands, urban voids, and areas of environmental protection, contributes to protecting vulnerable regions. In Brazil, it is common illegal occupancy of public and private spaces for the construction of own dwellings, without professional assistance, often with inadequate construction standards, which generate unsafe, unhealthy, and without basic infrastructure buildings, setting slums or squatter settlements. Implementing community gardens can be considered a mitigation instrument for the harmful effects of the disorderly occupation of urban territory. Objective: To study and describe a deployment strategy of the community garden project in an urban void in the adjoining area of the APP and its potential as an inhibitor of illegal occupation, environmental degradation, and illegal activities. Methodology: The study was conducted from qualitative research with an ecosystem approach in the implementation of a community garden in the town of Conchal / SP / Brazil in 2011, the current object of study by the Urban Research Laboratory (LABINUR) of the Civil Engineering, Architecture, and Urbanism Faculty at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP). The project has an environmental and social focus; therefore, it was possible to qualitatively describe the influence of the project in the local community, considering aspects of quality of life, well-being, happiness, and social inclusion as preventive factors to urban disasters. It was used as a reference for the methodology "Walkthrough," considering a route surrounding the community garden and dialogue with some neighboring local inhabitants, associated with photographic records and interviews, references on the topic of quality of life, occupation of areas of risk, and social participation. Results: It was found to fulfill the social function of urban land from the community garden implementation, as well as the support for beneficial use of this area adjacent to the Permanent Preservation Area (PPA). The project drove the local community to start taking care of the site, feeling belonging to it, which provides the protection and preservation process continuity in a place previously identified as a social and environmental degradation area. As a demonstration, in the words of a resident, "(...) before it was just garbage, now has plants more beautiful" (MR, 67). Conclusion: The study experience can be used as an alternative strategy to urban land use public policy, involving collective and social space management, and can avoid possible environmental disasters with appropriate occupations.
