Today palm oil based industries are facing global challenges related to environmental issues. To against these challenges, it is necessary to have an environmentally friendly supply chain. However, the limited resource owned by the company requires the integrated environmental strategy with the company's business strategy. The model is developed based on management orientation towards external pressure, internal key resources and competitive advantage that can be obtained as the decision factor. The decision-making method used is Analytical Network Process (ANP). The results obtained institutional pressure becomes the criterion with the greatest influence on green supply chain initiatives and sub criteria of customer desires and stakeholder integration having the most significant influence on green supply chain initiatives. There are five green alternative initiatives that can be done: green product design, greening upstream, greening production, greening downstream and greening post use. For green supply chain initiative, greening upstream is the best priority.

The existence of obstacles in the process of handling in and out in a warehouse handling PT Petronas Niaga Indonesia resulted in the need for companies to choose a new warehouse as an alternative lubricants. The number of alternatives which can be used warehouse forced the company to make the process of pre-qualification and qualification process to obtain alternative lubricants warehouse priority desired by the company. In the pre-qualification process lubricants warehouse alternative screening process is done by using the weighted product method to reduce warehouse alternative lubricants in the process of qualifying criteria based lubricants warehouse needs. In the process of qualifying the selection process is then performed by Analytical method Hirarchy Process (AHP) using five criteria: cost, infrastructure, market, safety, and the macro environment. Each of these criteria are translated into sub-criteria. The results obtained qualification process priority is the best lubricant warehouse is PT GAC Samudra Logistics with the highest weight, followed by PT Wiraswasta Gemilang Indonesia and PT Jaya Puninar with weights respectively and PT GAC Samudra Logistics superior in infrastructure and safety criteria, while PT Wiraswasta Gemilang Indonesia superior at cost and market criteria.

Indonesia has committed to reducing greenhouse gasses by 26% below 2005 levels, equivalent to 767 million tons of greenhouse gasses on their own. National Energy Policy set to blending bioethanol in premium 10% and 20% in 2020 and 2050 respectively. Potency that owned by Sumba Island, especially in east eastern Indonesia, encourages the growth of bioethanol industry regarding the availability of raw material resources and tropical climate for biofuel crop cultivation. Therefore it is necessary to analyze the feasibility of bioethanol production from potential raw materials in Sumba Island. It combines a Bayes method with financial analysis and a Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) framework to propose the development strategy of sustainable bioethanol industry in the Sumba Island. Recommended feedstock for the development of the bioethanol industry in Sumba Island is sweet sorghum and cassava. Financial feasibility assessment of bioethanol industry is based on the assumption that at least 70% of the feedstock is supplied by the company's land and the rest comes from the farming communities. The proposed integration pattern is by integrating the ethanol industry with bio-farming and bio-manure to utilize the waste completely. The development of bioethanol industry in Sumba Island is still faced with many obstacles, including the sustainability of feedstock both for cassava and sweet sorghum, infrastructure constraints, and regulation enforcement. Alternative strategies for the development of an integrated bioethanol industry are (1) conducting intensification and extensification of agricultural land to meet the needs of raw materials, (2) promoting technological innovation and institutional innovation to accelerate the delivery and adoption bioethanol, and (3) developing bioethanol industry cluster that is supported by the infrastructure cluster.

The aim of this research was to obtain the optimal condition for the production of biodiesel from low grade used frying oil through the esterification transesterification process. The experiment was arranged in Completely Randomized Design with Duncan's advanced test. Results showed that the biodiesel FFA content is ranged between 0.167 to 0.795% (P<0.01) from the 0.5 to 3.06% initial rate, with the biodiesel yield between 69.7 to 94.2%. The esterification-transesterification stage were evidently able to increase the quantity and quality of biodiesel from used frying oil. By esterification, the yield increased and the FFA content reduced. Transesterification with 6:1 methanol molar ratio and 1.5% catalyst could increase the yield up to 9.9%. The testing of four biodiesel property parameters showed that biodiesel from used oil of tofu and chips factories, and chicken fast food 1 and 2 that had been esterified met the requirements of the Indonesian National Standard (INS) 04-7182:2006 for biodiesel. Whereas directly processed biodiesel (without esterification) from used oil of chicken fast food 1 known in terms of its acid number, did not meet the requirements.
