The project was motivated by a need to create a device that would bring about change in mechanism of lifting pre-existent in the world. As from past we have seen usage of hydraulics to lift load in dumper truck we aspire to minimize cost significantly by using pneumatic actuator coupled with bevel gear mechanism and open a new genre for research and development. The first and foremost problem faced was that a pneumatic cylinder works at about 6 times less pressure range and consequently lifts fewer loads when applied directly. But the same can be tackled when we make a single cylinder pneumatic engine and couple that shaft with a bevel gear having tooth ratio 16:10 on one end and thus protrude a threaded rod along which dumper moves up and down. Basically on the edge of dumper we attach a nut for movement laterally on the threaded rod and provide clearance of 0.5 feet to cover up the distance by which it ascends on the threaded rod. The model made is of 4 feet by 2 feet (lxb) capable of lifting 62 kg at an angle of 26.5 degree. To top it all off we are doing it all wirelessly combining it with a Flysky FS-CT6B 2.4 GHZ 6 channel Transmitter receiver and phoenix board that is used in aircraft wireless system powered by two 12 V battery connected in series with each other.
