The extensive utilization of Internet of Things (IoT) devices has revolutionized multiple sectors... more The extensive utilization of Internet of Things (IoT) devices has revolutionized multiple sectors, ranging from smart homes to industrial automation, while concurrently broadening the attack surface for cyber threats, including Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks. This study examines the efficacy of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and Long Short-Term Memory Networks (LSTMs) in detecting DDoS attacks, focusing on the distinct security concerns presented by IoT networks. Employing the extensive CICDDoS2019 dataset, these algorithms scrutinize individual IP flow records to attain real-time anomaly identification with elevated precision. The evaluation results reveal that both CNN and LSTM models exhibit strong performance, with CNNs showing enhanced precision (99.42%) and F1-score (99.26%) due to their capacity to extract spatial patterns from multidimensional traffic data. Although LSTMs are proficient in capturing temporal dependencies, their elevated computing demands render them less appropriate for realtime applications in resource-limited IoT settings. This paper emphasizes CNNs as a scalable and efficient option for IoT network defence and advocates for more research into hybrid deep learning architectures to improve anomaly detection.

Traffic density recognition is a computer vision task that involves detecting and estimating the ... more Traffic density recognition is a computer vision task that involves detecting and estimating the density of vehicles in a given traffic scene. Traffic jam is a problem regularly faced by the public, mainly those living in crowded cities. For effective traffic management and signal control, it is necessary to know the road traffic density, particularly in overcrowded cities. Several methods were proposed for traffic density recognition, but the existing approaches inaccurately recognize the traffic density. Therefore, a Dual-discriminator Conditional giza pyramids construction Generative Adversarial Network based-Traffic Density Recognition (DCGAN-TDR) using road vehicle images is proposed for effective homogeneous and heterogeneous traffic density recognition. The input data is taken from the road vehicle images dataset, and its undesirable noises are removed with the help of anisotropic diffusion kuwahara filtering based preprocessing. For effective segmentation, the hesitant fuzzy linguistic bi-objective clustering method is used. Then the histogram of block multi-scale uniform local binary pattern is used for local feature representation, and for feature reduction two-directional two-dimension principal component analysis is used. The Dual-discriminator Conditional Generative Adversarial Network (DCGAN) is used to classify the data as homogeneous and heterogeneous. Giza pyramids construction optimization is used to optimize the loss function of DCGAN to reduce the loss function and to enhance the accuracy. Then, the performance metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, computational time and loss are evaluated to estimate the efficiency of the proposed method.

The measure problem is to prevent from traffic based accidents. The traffic may be in homogenous and heterogeneous format. In this paper the complete focus is based on heterogeneous traffic flow. In first stage we studied various research and we studied deep convolution network for identifying and measures the traffic accidents and developed a unique spatiotemporal graph-based model for predicting the probability of future traffic accidents. We used hybrid approach to improve the reliability and sustainability of large-scale networks through improving both recurrent and non-recurrent traffic conditions.
