The school, at all its levels, with all the factors involved: students, teachers, authorities, and parents, has tried to adapt to the new reality, that of social distancing, in which the educational process must continue in the online environment. The process has not been tested before, teachers have adapted to the situation in a very short time, and students have used their own devices, or those of parents, to take online academic courses. The European COVID-19 pandemic and the Romanian national measures needed to combat the spread of the virus have caused significant disruption to education, training and mobility activities for students and teachers in the European Union (EU). In this context, we considered it relevant to find out how, already having an experience of 3 semesters of presence in the online environment, the students from the initial pedagogical training programs perceive the advantages and disadvantages of technology-based teaching. We also wanted to investigate how they analyse pedagogical training programs in terms of the impact that the transition to the online environment has had on their expectations regarding their own training for a future profession.

The main instrument was a questionnaire addressed to the teaching staff. Its purpose was to identify the strategies used in motivating pupils and the level of motivation already existent in class, and the training needs of the teaching staff. This training needs refer to the contact with new strategies for motivated learning. This research intends to be one that identifies the motivational factors which are present in the school-type learning activity. But, at the same time, our ultimate objective is to set up an effective program of motivational stimulation, based on the collected data, which should contribute to the increase of the learning efficiency. This program will represent the basis for periodic meetings with the teaching staff interested in improving their academic performance or that of the classes they work with.

It has the role of reorienting the actions of the teacher, parent, or student in the direction of achieving specific goals of the learning process by aligning the effort and activity with a certain expected result. It can be offered about the results of the activity, the process itself, the way the student manages his learning or self-regulates in the learning activities. The power of feedback comes from the fact that he can straighten, maintain a good attitude, or change a student's behavior. Giving direct but at the same time, empathetic feedback means allowing students to express their opinion, to give feedback in turn, to contradict you, or to recognize the problems when they arise. But all this requires tact, empathy, and understanding, because only in this way can we, the teachers, correct, direct and manage the challenges, in parallel with building communities in which students collaborate and care about each other. Feedback allows the other person to receive a real response to his action and is constructive when referring only to the action itself and nothing else.

It is so important and useful to human existence that without its understanding we cannot have access to the understanding of the individual and the social structures. From a psychological perspective, communication is a dynamic and complex phenomenon, which involves the simultaneous development of several psychological processes and functions, used for the interaction, through the exchange of messages between two subjects. It can be, at the same time, a human need or a source of conflict and dissatisfaction in interpersonal relationships. Ability to speak is characterized by: clear and concise expression, well-chosen words and expressions, direct expression, logic and no exaggeration; all matched with the ideas presented. Communication contributes to the coherence and logic of group and team formation processes, the exteriorization of emotions, perceptions and expectations, so that we can, on the one hand, achieve our personal goals and, on the other hand, live together harmoniously at the social level. The ability to communicate is a very broad concept, often studied and often overlaid on interpersonal skills. Researches in the field highlight various abilities, so the purpose of the research was to investigate aspects specific to educational communication, which are supporting factors or barriers in the teacher-student relationship. The main objective was to investigate the perception of primary school teachers about the current level of development of their own communication skills required by didactic work through in-depth interviews.

In order to know the teachers' opinions about their professional development, about the programmes, courses and other training activities in which they were involved and about their needs for continuous training as geography teachers, a questionnaire was applied, and was completed by 170 teachers. The results were analysed and interpreted. These views are important because, based on them, decisions can be made concerning the teachers' continuous training at both ministry level, as well as at the level of various institutions involved in such activities.

The Ministry of Education and Research sent teachers the recommendation to conduct online courses at home. Over the following weeks, this recommendation was supplemented by others, the Ministry recommend that teachers take online courses, without making them compulsory. On March 20, 2020, the Ministry of Education approved the Methodology on the distance continuation of the educational process in quarantine conditions that establishes the way to continue the educational process in primary, secondary and high school institutions in quarantine conditions. The methodology establishes the obligation to conduct distance learning courses through various online platforms (eg Viber, Whatsapp, Facebook, Google Classroom, Zoom, etc.) and allows the assessment of students during this period and the registration of grades in the catalog. The large number of platforms available online for conducting such courses, as well as the lack of a national or local decision on the use of a single platform, has generated quite a bit of confusion among teachers and especially among students. We wanted to find out the opinions of primary school teachers regarding the advantages and disadvantages they perceive regarding online teaching, through interviews with them.
