However, it is still unclear whether the studies performed so far have filled existing knowledge gaps. We used computational intelligence (CI)/Machine Learning (ML) technologies and alliance areas to analyse this massive amount of information at scale. This chapter assesses the scholarly progress and prominent research domains in the use of CI/ML technologies in COVID-19 research, focusing on the specific literature on computational intelligence and related fields that have been employed for “diagnosis and treatment” of COVID-19 patients. The “Web of Science” database was used to retrieve all existing and highly cited papers published up to November 2020. Based on bibliometric indicators, a search query (“Computational Intelligence or Neural Networks or Fuzzy Systems or Evolutionary Computation & Diagnosis or Treatment & Coronavirus or Corona V...

The agriculture university is to develop the personality of the human being as a whole. Every library exists, to serve the needs of its own community of users. It follows the overall evaluation of library thought to base mainly on how well it serves these needs. The organized information and dissemination function to suit the needs of the users necessitate a study of library and information service needs of users. With the strides in the area of Science and Technology, any information centre has to initiate and sustain a variety of library and information services to provide the right type of information to the users. To achieve this, it is necessary to have a continuous feed back from the users. One of the ways by which, this can be achieved is by observing and analyzing the requests received for further info...

It has been proposed that readers of Spanish can rely on grapheme-phoneme correspondences, alone, to access meaning or phonology from print. In recent years, a number of case studies have yielded evidence inconsistent with this idea. We review these studies with particular focus on those that report evidence for reading based on direct lexical mappings between print, orthographic representations, and meaning or phonology. We report a new case of acquired literacy impairment in Spanish, MJ, who presents a pattern of preserved abilities and deficits symptomatic of deep dyslexia. The patient is unable to read nonwords, but can read a substantial number of words. Her reading is characterized by the production of semantic, visual, and derivational errors. We argue that MJ has a deficit in her lexical selection ability, common to both her reading and her naming problems. We propose that MJ, and the other cases we review, demonstrate that lexical reading is adopted by skilled readers even in a transparent language.

The study also analysed the principal bibliographic forms, the journal used and their distribution according to country of origin and chronological scattering. The application of Bradford’s Law of scattering to the literature of botany reveals an exponential trend when plotted on the graph. The study shows that the distribution pattern of citations by type of documentary sources shows that periodicals are highly cited (75.52%). Books are considered as the second major source, which accounts for 17.25%. In other words, periodicals and books together constitute 92.77% while other forms of sources are negligible. Team research prevails in the field of Biotechnology. The degree of collaboration is found to be 0.66. The study shows that United States occupied top position with 1,679 citations (32.69%), followed by India (1,303; 25.37%) and then the United Kingdom (842; 16.39%). It is evident from the result of the study that the journal, Journal Mutation Research (212; 5.46%) occupies first in the rank list of journals, followed by the Journal of Bombay Natural History Society 74 (1.90%) and Aquaculture 70 (1.80%); Journal Fish Biology 67 (1.72%) scores the highest number of citations among the most cited periodicals.

The paper poses a series of questions to be answered which will facilitate the decision-making process of library professionals. They poses the questions as to what and how to digitize into the larger framework of collection building by focusing, first, on the nature of the collections and their use, and, second, on the realities of the institutional context in which these decisions are made. Their method is, above all, most helpful in its pragmatic approach to the unsettling dynamism of the digital technology itself. They view technology as a tool to serve specific collections-related goals and assess the available technology for its ability to aid or obstruct access and preservation.

The study found that journals are heavily cited as compared to other forms of documents. It is evident from the study that the trend is towards team research. Multi authors lead over single author. United States contributes more number of articles in this subject. Around 48% of the journals cited are from United States. It is observed from the study that more number journals cited are of the period between 1996 and 2000 followed by 2001-2006 and 1990-1995. Therefore it can be deduced that current literature is more important for research in this subject field. It is observed from the study that „Genetics‟ is the most heavily cited journal followed by „Science‟, both are from United States. The Indian journal, Journal of Genetics is in the 14th place.
