Abstract

Pregnancy is a physiological and normal process that not only involves the biological aspects of a woman's life but also psychological, emotional, and spiritual aspects. A woman must fulfill her role as a mother during pregnancy. This service is carried out at the Jampandanbar Community Health Center to provide information about pregnancy, various psychological changes during pregnancy, and psychological adjustments during pregnancy to take on the role of a mother. The number of participants in this service activity was 20 people, held on November 21 2020 at the Taro District Office with a lecture, question and answer and interaction format. The results of this activity show behavioral changes in the form of successful adaptation, especially psychological changes during pregnancy.

Abstract

As more and more people are doing activities at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic, members of the Mandal PKK group are encouraged to care for various types of local and imported ornamental plants. There are many types of "tuber" or "tuber stem" ornamental plants that are very popular and have very high economic value, such as Alocasia sp and Aglonema sp. This training aims to provide technical knowledge to the public regarding the propagation of borer pests using soilless media. This training was carried out with the approval of the District Pankep COVID-19 Task Force. After training, group members are supported in replanting propagation, especially transplanting plants into new pots and proper plant care. If each member who is given at least 5 beetles can grow, graft, and care for at least 4 or even 5 beetles on ornamental plants, the average success rate is above 80%. Training on cultivating bulbs and heads of ornamental plants using a hoe system and soilless methods can provide knowledge to local communities and is expected to continue in the future.

Abstract

Elementary school is a place of learning to receive basic education. Learning is a process of behavior change achieved through human experience. This service aims to expand knowledge about the application of book management in life to support student learning at Klavan State Elementary School. The method used is based on student advice and practical training. This activity begins by asking students to organize their books, catalog their books, and arrange their books on traditional shelves. After that, we continued to provide guidance and practice on inputting book data and displaying report results when utilizing electronic information management in school libraries. After this activity, it is hoped that elementary school students in Klabang province will be influenced to implement book arrangements in their respective homes to help students effectively and efficiently find personal books to use in learning, as well as gain additional knowledge.

Abstract

Balanced nutritional intake plays an important role in the long-term nutritional status and health of the elderly. To increase nutritional information on protein intake in the elderly and measure the nutritional status of the elderly. This activity was carried out at Posyandu Kenanga, Genjeng Weru Village, Sukoharjo Regency and involved 20 elderly people aged 45-60 years. Nutrition education for the elderly uses leaflets and checkpoints as well as measuring nutritional status based on body weight and height, then calculating body mass index or BMI to determine nutritional status. Based on the results of the pre and post test, elderly knowledge increased before and after being given nutrition education. The most common category of nutritional status in the elderly is obesity. This is not directly proportional to the pre and post test results which show that the average level of knowledge of elderly people is in the good category. It can be concluded that education and assessment of nutritional status are very important because they can improve the health status of the elderly.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries prone to disasters. Data from the Disaster Information Indonesia (DIBI) indicates that between 2019 and 2023, there were 15,928 disasters with 18,872,310 casualties. The high frequency of disaster occurrences and their impacts necessitates disaster preparedness. Generally, the readiness index of the Indonesian population in terms of emergency response is classified as inadequate. Tasikmalaya Regency ranks second among disaster-prone areas in Indonesia, with Cipatujah Subdistrict being the most vulnerable subdistrict within Tasikmalaya Regency. One of the vulnerable villages in Cipatujah Subdistrict is Sindangkerta Village. A dedicated team from the Faculty of Health Sciences at Siliwangi University, in coordination with the Tasikmalaya Regency Disaster Management Agency (BPBD Kabupaten Tasikmalaya) and in partnership with Dompet Dhuafa, conducted activities to raise awareness and simulate disaster preparedness. These activities took place on August 5, 2019, involving 46 students from vocational high schools in Sindangkerta. The awareness-raising activities utilized PowerPoint presentations and posters, while the simulation exercises were conducted in the field. The evaluation of the activities was carried out through real-time monitoring. The activities ran smoothly, as the participants actively engaged with enthusiasm and demonstrated a high level of curiosity."Bagian Atas Formulir

Abstract

The problem of drug abuse and victims of sexual violence is something that has occurred in society from the past until now. Cases like this must be handled quickly because it is a case that causes a lot of victims who cannot be said to be in small numbers in the community. Actually in this case there is no target age desired by the perpetrator to carry out his actions in committing one of these criminal acts. As what is meant in this case is that there are still many children who are still minors who are the future generation of the nation in the future even become victims of drug abuse and sexual violence. Therefore, we should increase efforts to reduce or even stop cases like this. The community must also be careful of people they don't know to be aware of themselves so that they become victims of drugs and victims of sexual violence.

Abstract

Empowerment and export cooperation of agave and sansevieria farmers through CV Botani Flora Indonesia aims to determine the value of exports, the main purpose of exports, the obstacles faced, and strategies for increasing agave and sansevieria exports from Indonesia. The data collection methods used were interviews, observation and documentation. The results show that the collaboration between CV Botani Flora Indonesia and Agave and Sansevieria farmers has increased their export results.

Abstract

Reading literacy can be defined as a person's ability to understand, evaluate and use information contained in reading effectively. Reading literacy is an ability that must be familiarized from an early age. One of the factors that can improve reading literacy is the existence of simple reading resources that can be tailored to student needs. In this case, the role of parents, especially teachers, is very important to support students in reading activities. through this community service activity, the results obtained regarding the understanding of SDN 2 Bojongmenteng teachers increased. Teachers understand the types of simple reading materials that can improve students' reading literacy. From this activity, teachers are expected to be able to implement simple reading for students of SDN 2 Bojongmenteng.

Abstract

Digital literacy refers to a person's ability to use, understand, and participate in the digital environment effectively. The development of information technology has changed the scope of the marketing world in recent years. Marketing communication methods that were previously traditional and conventional have now been integrated into the digital world. Digital marketing has become one of the media that is often used by business people because of the new ability of consumers to follow the flow of digitalization, several companies are gradually starting to abandon conventional marketing models and switch to modern marketing.The development of information technology is growing rapidly. Some activities of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) utilize information technology to run their business. One of them is the MSME Anak Rantau Iced Tea. Through the community service team, training on digital marketing was carried out as an effort to develop the Iced Tea Children of Rantau MSMEs The results of this activity showed that business actors participated in the training activities carefully. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of the actors in understanding marketing digitalization

Abstract

Kuncup Melati School consists of Kindergarten, Elementary School and Junior High School is one of the private schools located in the middle of the city which is quite strategic and very easy to access and in a densely populated area. In addition to being in a strategic and densely populated location, this school is a private school that does not charge any fees to its students. Funded by a Khong Kauw Hwee Foundation.Every year like other private schools, it opens registration opportunities, but even though the school is free, there are not many students, especially the community in the school environment, the school already has social media which is a means of information and promotion of activities and activities from the school, but registrants who enter this school sometimes do not meet the quota provided by the school. On this occasion, the Community Service Team will carry out activities with the theme of optimizing effective promotional media that can help achieve the target of students who register at Kuncup Melati School. , namely with promotional activities other than social media can be done with other media. The hope is that with this promotional optimization activity, it can increase public interest in entering school at Kuncup Melati.
