Abstract

This study aims to determine how the dimensions of the students character is formed in scouting activaties. This study used a qualitative approach, the case study method. Methods of data collection used interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the dimentions of character in the scout can form the attitudes of students: (1) the scouts form the students devotion, (2) the scouts will form the students discipline, (3) the scouts form the students honesty, (4) the scouts will form the students independence, (5) the scouts form the students responsible, (6) the scouts form the courtesy and etiqutte and manners of students.Penelitian ini bertujuan, untuk mengetahui bagaimana dimensi karakter siswa terbentuk dalam kegiatan kepramukaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode case study. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dimensi karakter dalam kegiatan pramuka dapat membentuk sikap siswa yaitu: (1) Kegiatan pramuka membentuk ketaqwaan siswa, (2) Kegiatan pramuka membentuk kedisiplinan siswa, (3) Kegiatan pramuka membentuk kejujuran siswa, (4) Kegiatan pramuka membentuk kemandirian siswa, (5) Kegiatan pramuka membentuk tanggung jawab siswa, (6) Kegiatan pramuka membentuk sopan santun dan tata krama serta budi pekerti siswa.Kata kunci: karakter, kualitatif, pendidikan kepramukaan

Abstract

Belum adanya penerapan model yang inovatif dan media pembelajaran menjadi permasalahan dari hasil refleksi awal yang berakibat kurangnya kreatifitas mahasiswa dan merasa bosan saat pembelajaran berlangsung.  Penggunaan model Think Pair Share (TPS) memiliki tujuan dalam meningkatkan kreativitas mahasiswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Classroom Action Research atau Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan prosedur sebagai berikut yaitu : (1) Tahap perencanaan (plannig), (2) Tahap tindakan (acting), (3) Tahap pengamatan (observing), (4) Tahap refleksi (refleting). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran Kewarganegaraan”dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share pada mahasiswa PPKn tahun pelajaran 2021/2022”dengan selalu memotivasi mahasiswa dan pada proses pembelajaran dosen yang bertindak sebagai fasilitator, motivator, membimbing”mahasiswa secara menyeluruh, melibatkan mahasiswa dalam membuat kesimpulan serta melaksanakan umpan balik sehingga aktivitas belajar mahasiswa meningkat. ”Dengan perolehan data pada siklus pertama sebesar 52%, meningkat pada siklus kedua sebesar 65% dan sebesar 82% pada siklus ketiga. ”Model Think Pair Share akan efektif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas mahasiswa apabila penerapannya dilakukan dengan baik sesuai dengan prosedur dan karakteristik mahasiswa.

Abstract

Abstract: Student delays in completing thesis are problems that are always faced by students in the final semester. In the process of education as a student to obtain a bachelor's degree, students will be faced with a thesis final project. Thesiis is a terim usied to define a scientific paper in the form of an explanation of the results of undergraduate researich that diiscusses a proiblem or phenomienon in a partiicular fiield of science by usiing applicable rules. Students who are able to write and compile theses are considered to be able to combine their knowledge and skills in understanding, analyzing, describing, and explaiining problems related to the scientiific field they take. However, ini realiity miany studeints have diifficulty in completing their thesis, so it is not uncommon for studenits to complete theiir thesis beyond the allotted time or more than four years. This study aiims to identifiy and describe the factors that cause studeints to be late in completing their final project (thesis). This research was conducited using qualiitative reseairch methods wiith source analysis techniques and Miles and Hubermen model analysis. The results showed that the factors that caused students to be late in completing their final assignments (thesis) in the Pancasila and Civic Education study program at Jambi University were influenced by two factors, namely internal factors and external factors. The first is the lack of motivation to graduate on time and assumes that writing the thesis is difficult, the second is the individual's self-intelligence (IQ), emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence. The third is external factors, namely the lack of availability of learning resources in libraries such as books, journals, and articles. scientific as a source of reference in the thesis. The fourth factor is the environmental factor of peers or playmates. Another factor that is also a support is the family's economic factor that requires students to work for extra money and also the hard upbringing factor of parents which makes students depressed.

Abstract

This iresearch was motivated by the low learning creativity of class XI TBSM students at SMK Negeri 4 Kerinci which was obtained by 16.90% who were creative in learning. Then the learning model used by the teacher when learning takes place does not have a tendency to improve students' creative thinking skills, students tend to be monotonous, students' knowledge is only limited to what is obtained from the teacher, students have difficulty in developing the knowledge gained from learning and students do not dare to express ideas, ideas or opinions. The purpose of this study is to find out that the inquiry learning model can ncrease the learning creativity of class XI TBSM students on Civics subjects at SMK Negeri 4 Kerinci. The design of this research is action research conducted by the teacher in the classroom. This research procedure is designed for 3 ciycles, where each cycle is carried out in 3 (three) face-to-face meetings. The action design in each cycle in this classroom action research is divided into 4 (four) stages, namel. Based on the results obtained during the implementation of classroom action research, it can be explained that the results of increasing student learning creativity in cycle I in this study showed the average percentage value of student learning creativity was 50%. Then classroom action research was carried out in cycle II where the average value of the percentage of student learning creativity became 64% which means it has increased but has not reached the KKM. Next, classroom action research is carried out in cycle III where the average value of the percentage of student learning creativity increases to 75% . This figure has shown that the average percentage value of student learning creativity has reached the KKM criteria of 75. Then it can be concluded that the application of the inquiry learning model at SMK Negeri 4 Kerinci can increase the learning creativity of class XI TBSM students in Civics.

Abstract

Abstract: The results of the study are the description of the honesty attitude of the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 19 Jambi City can be said to be still low. Based on research findings from researcher interviews, not all students are able to apply the value of honesty in Civics learning. It can be seen from the daily tests that many students cheat, and when online, students do assignments and tests and tests at home, it is not necessarily the student who actually does it if it is reflected by the behavior of students at school before going online where when the teacher is off guard they cheat on each other. The conclusion of this study is that if you look at the learning outcomes, from online learning due to the covid-19 pandemic, student learning outcomes are still low, but after students do remedial, student scores can reach the KKM, and add the value of the assignment. However, if the test scores or exam results, on average, there are still many who are below the KKM. This is based on a clarification from a PPKn teacher at SMP Negeri 19 Jambi City. Because there are still many who are below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM), so teachers need to add value from assignments, and teachers give tolerance to students, due to the Covid-19 pandemic obstacles that have not been completed during the class promotion exam.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the problems at SMPN 30 Muaro Jambi, especially the low learning outcomes of class VII B students which only reached 32% of students who reached the KKM. In addition, teachers face challenges in producing learning materials that will excite students' interest as they learn, enabling them to improve student learning outcomes. This study aims to create an interactive learning media based on Lectora that inspires material on norms and justice to help grade VII B students of SMPN 30 Muaro Jambi improve Civics learning outcomes. The ADDIE development model is of this type (Analysis, Design Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This research makes interactive learning media by giving assessments to students to find out their learning outcomes. An assessment questionnaire filled out by a team of experts, teachers, and students was used in this study. Based on research on student learning outcomes tests at the end of the learning activity, there were 26 students who obtained complete scores and two students with incomplete scores from a total of 28 students whose learning outcomes increased by 93%.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 6 Kerinci in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. In the initial observation, the researchers found that the learning outcomes of PPKn for some students were still below the KKM. This study aims to determine the effect and magnitude of the influence of students' social attitudes on the learning outcomes of PPKN subjects for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 6 Kerinci. The research method in this study is quantitative. In connection with this study, the approach used by researchers is the Ex Post Facto approach. As for data collection techniques, namely interviews and questionnaires. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the variable social attitudes of students (X) has a significant effect on the learning outcome variable (Y) for PPKN subjects for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 6 Kerinci. This is evidenced by the value of tcount > ttable (2.081> 1.99254) and a significant value of 0.041 <0.05 with the intention that social attitudes have a significant impact on the learning outcomes of Civics class VIII students at SMP Negeri 6 Kerinci. The magnitude of the influence can be seen on the Coefficient of Determination, which is obtained R2 = 0.055, which is percentaged to 5.5%. So the big influence is 5.5% while the remaining 94.5% is influenced by other variables not examined in this research.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of intra-school student organization (OSIS) functions in realizing the values ​​of the fourth precept of Pancasila at SMKN 1 Batanghari. The results of the study show that the implementation of the intra-school student organization (OSIS) function in realizing the fourth precept of Pancasila at SMKN 1 Batanghari is involving students outside the OSIS management to hold deliberations in every decision-making to carry out activities, the OSIS board also provides opportunities for students to convey ideas or opinions regarding the activity plans that have been submitted by OSIS members, conduct democratic election of OSIS chairmen and members, and be open and accept all criticism submitted by SMKN 1 Batanghari students. The first obstacle faced by the OSIS SMKN 1 Batanghari in realizing the fourth precept value in Pancasila is that there are students who are less active in participating in every OSIS activity, both in deliberation activities and other activities, and students who take part in deliberation activities tend to be less active in providing criticism and opinions. The conclusion of the application of the intra-school student organization function (OSIS) in implementing the fourth precept of Pancasila at SMKN 1 Batanghari is carried out by carrying out deliberations, carrying out elections and accepting criticism. From these three aspects, the function of carrying out deliberations and carrying out elections has been carried out properly , while the function of receiving criticism has not been carried out properly.

Abstract

the initial observation, the researcher knew that there were several problems with the number of students' learning achievements that were not good, this was investigated by the researchers because the students' characters were not good in everyday life, so they had poor learning outcomes over time, learning , assignments, and tests done by students. This research method uses qualitative research with descriptive research types. The data collection techniques in this study were in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. By using research indicators on student character adapted to Civics learning materials. Based on the results of the study, it showed that the impact of poor character was proven by the results of observations, interviews and documentation that the researchers found, this turned out to affect the learning outcomes or student achievement which was not good, caused by a feeling of laziness and irresponsibility, lack of independence and discipline, and underestimating honesty. From this research it can be concluded that the impact of character on student achievement is enormous, the character and morals of children who are not educated properly are caused by various internal and external factors resulting in a decline in character resulting in poor learning achievement among students. .

Abstract

Motor vehicle thefts which always occur in Mendalo Indah Village, Jambi Luar Kota District, cause anxiety in the community. This condition requires attention and action from various parties, including students. Students of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program (PPKn) are expected to have a high level of social care and be able to contribute to preventing and overcoming this problem. This research aims to find out the social care attitude of PPKn students towards the widespread crime of motor vehicle theft in Mendalo Indah Village, Jambi Luar Kota District. This research method is a type of qualitative descriptive data research. Information is obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of this research can be concluded that the social care attitude of PPKn students still needs a lot of improvement, their empathetic and caring behavior, especially in sharing loss information on social media, is a strength that needs to be appreciated. Greater efforts are needed to increase awareness, active participation and cooperation of students in efforts to prevent and overcome motor vehicle theft, by utilizing the existing basis of empathy to build a safer and more harmonious environment.
