Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the raw material procurement system based on six components, the performance and the added value of the palm sago agro-industry in Natar subdistrict of South Lampung Regency. The research was a case study in which location was chosen purposively in four Sago Aren Agroindustries by considerating that there were only four agro-industries that were still actively producing sugar palm sago in that area. The reseach data collection was conducted in March - April 2018 and analyzed by qualitative and quantitative descriptive and added value analysis. The results showed that the six components of raw material procurement namely time, place, quality, organization, quantity, and price in Sago Aren of Adi Putra, Oblak, and Surahmat Agroindustries were appropriate because they have been in line with expectations. There was still a component of material procurement standards that have not been matched or did not in line with the expectation in Kartim Agroindustry namely quantity. Production performance in the Sago Aren Agroindustries could be classified as good, because four of the five indicators in production performance namely productivity, capacity, quality, and speed of delivery were appropriate, while indicators of flexibility in the four sago palm agroindustry was not optimal, and the four sago palm agroindustry was feasible because it provided positive added value. Key words: sagu aren, performance, value added

Abstract

Lampung Province has a great potential yield of coffee plantations.  This potential causes the rise of coffee-based businesses.  PT. Ghaly Roelies Indonesia is one of the coffee-based agro-industry in Lampung Province.  This research aims to analyze the benefits of Ghalkoff Coffee’s products as well as consumers' satisfaction and loyalty on Ghalkoff Coffee beverages based on the variety of processing.  This research was conducted in two places, namely PT. Ghaly Roelies Indonesia’s agro-industry and Ghalkoff Cafe.  The research was conducted by using survey method, involving 58 respondents, in which data were collected by conducting interviews based on the consumers’ purchase histories.  The data were analyzed by Cost of Sales, Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI), and Loyalty Pyramid analysis.  The analysis showed that the variety of processing affected the profits, which was shown by profits of 50.67 to 66.51%. The highest profit was obtained by the coffee processing of F12 variant which was about IDR 365,794.28/kg. The lowest profit was obtained by the coffee processing of F2 variant which was about IDR 91,205.58/kg. The level of customer satisfaction on consuming Ghalkoff Coffee beverages was on the criteria of being very satisfied with the CSI value of 85.66%.  Ghalkoff Coffee beverage consumer loyalty was at Liking the Brand level with value of 87.93% based on loyalty pyramid analysis test. Key words : Consumers, loyalty, processing, profits, satisfied.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the amount of household income, the risk of rubber selling prices and the level of household welfare of rubber farmers in Pakuan Ratu Sub-District, Way Kanan Regency.  The research method used was survey method.  The number of the respondent in this study is 56 rubber farming households obtained using proportional random sampling.  The results show that the average total income of rubber farmer households is Rp31,580,310.71 where the largest income is derived from income from rubber farming.  The price risk on rubber farming is relatively small that can be seen from the variation coefficient value (CV) is 0.17.  The level of household welfare based on Sajogyo's indicators shows that 100% rubber farming households are in the living groupworthy.   Key words: farmers, income, risk, rubber, welfare.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the leadership, background, and motivational impact of process operator leadership, motivation, and performance and processing operator performance.  This survey was conducted at PT Sugar Rabinta South Lampung, especially the processing unit in December 2021 to January 2022.  This research is conducted by a survey method involving 63 samples of processing operators.  Respondents in this study are foreman and operators.  The survey data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.  The results showed that the foreman leadership of the processing section were quite good, the motivation of processing operators was quite good and the performance of process operators was categorized as good.  Ethnicity had a significant effect on the performance of process operators, while age, education, length of service, and the number of family members had no effect on the performance operators.  Leadership and motivation had significant effect on the performance of process operators.Key words: biographical characteristics, employee performance, motivation, leadership
