Abstract

This study aims to describe the profile of teachers’ inquiry questions of science lessons in the 5th grade of Elementary School on the topic of Water. The method used in this research was a descriptive method and the sample was 16 elementary schools in Sumedang city. The results showed that the profile of inquiry question in the lesson plan document is distributive very low, the question that arises is the questions that require students to make a hypothesis only (5.56%). In the science-learning process, there are four categories of inquiry questions that appear very low in distribution (2.63%). In daily evaluation, the distribution of questions is very low, the questions only require students to hypothesize (6.73%). Based on the above analysis, it can be concluded that the emergence of the teacher inquiry question profile is still uneven and very low. Therefore it is suggested that there is an integrated training program on inquiry learning which includes the preparation of lesson planning, learning activities and science learning evaluation.

Abstract

Lesson plan is one of important role in the teaching and learning process in Primary Schools. It contains plans for activities or activities that will be carried out during learning. This research aims is to describe the suitability of lesson plan and the learning process in elementary school. The research method used is a survey method, involving a sample of 12 public and private elementary schools in the city of Sumedang. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation and questionnaire techniques, the data that has been obtained is then analyzed using simple statistical techniques. The results showed that the suitability of lesson plan and the learning process had a percentage of 68.0% and were in the high category. This shows that all activities listed in the lesson plan start from the initial activities (79.8%), main activities (63.8%) and closing activities (68.86%) are in accordance with the activities carried out in the learning process. Thus it can be concluded that the lesson plan that has been prepared by the teacher and the learning process that has been carried out in the Sumedang City Primary School has a high level of suitability. However, even though it has a high category, but not fully in accordance with the lesson plan used, so there is still a need for further guidance and development for teachers so that they are always guided by the lesson plan so that learning becomes more directed and in accordance with the prepared plan.

Abstract

Science Process Skills (SPS) are all scientific skills used to acquire, develop, and apply scientific concepts and theories. SPS mastery is not only useful in science learning but also for the daily life of the students. Therefore very important mastery of the ability of the process of science since elementary school age.This study aims to obtain an overview of the students' science process skill profile. The research method used is survey method with research subject that is as much as 16 elementary school in Sumedang regency. Data collection techniques used are test techniques. The data have been obtained and then analyzed by simple statistical analysis.Based on the results of research that has been done can be seen that the ability of SPS in elementary school students in Sumedang regency as a whole is still low that has an average value of 9.8, as well as for every aspect of SPS it is still low with a percentage of 49.7%. There is no gender effect on the difference of students' SPS capability because both male and female students have the same low ability of SPS which is 48.7% and 49.1% respectively.

Abstract

Perencanaan pembelajaran memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Perencanaan pembelajaran terutama Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) merupakan rencana kegiatan yang dibuat oleh guru sebagai pedoman dalam proses pembelajaran. RPP ini di dalamnya terdiri dari berbagagai komponen yang harus memiliki keterkaitan dan keterpaduan satu sama lain sesuai dengan prinsip penyususnan RPP, yang meliputi tujuan pembelajaran, materi, metode/model/pendekatan/strategi, sumber belajar/ media, proses/kegiatan, alokasi waktu, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis serta mendeskripsikan mengenai sejauh mana keterkaitan komponen - komponen dalam RPP yang digunakan pada proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar di Kota Sumedang, yang meliputi Kecamatan Sumedang Utara dan Kecamatan Sumedang Selatan.Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. pemilihan sampel dari populasi yang ada menggunakan teknik random sampling, sehingga diperoleh sebanyak 23 sekolah sebagai bahan penelitian.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keterkaitan setiap komponen dalam RPP yang digunakan pada proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar Kota Sumedang berada pada kategori tinggi, dimana setiap komponen RPP sudah disusun dengan baik sesuai dengan indikator keterkaitan setiap komponen. Demikian halnya dengan tingkat keterkaitan antar komponen dalam RPP yang memiliki kategori tinggi, dimana setiap komponen mulai dari tujuan pembelajaran, materi, metode/model/pendekatan/strategi, sumber belajar/ media, proses/kegiatan, alokasi waktu, dan evaluasi pembelajaran telah saling terkait satu dengan yang lainnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran secara komprehensif kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) setelah memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model Read-Answer-Discuss-and Create (RADEC) berbasis masalah. Metode yang digunakan mix method yaitu mendeskrifsikan secara kualitatif proses pembelajaran RADEC, serta menguji signifikansi perbedaan skor nilai sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran. Desain penelitian menggunakan pretes dan postes one grup desain.Instrumen yang digunakan mengembangkan indicator dari Ennes. Hasilnya menyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran, serta model RADEC berorientasi masalah berpengaruh menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa.

Abstract

21st-century skills are very important to be instilled in every learning process in elementary schools. Teachers must have the view that is instilling the 6 Cs. This study aims to analyze elementary school teachers' perceptions regarding 21st-century skills, especially the 6 Cs in learning in elementary schools. The method used in this research is the descriptive method. The research subjects were obtained randomly, namely as many as 71 elementary school teachers. The research instrument used a questionnaire in the form of a Google form. The data obtained were then analyzed, and the categories were determined. The results showed that elementary school teachers' perceptions of the knowledge aspect, namely 21st-century skills, must be owned and instilled in students in the 21st century, which is very high. In the aspect of understanding, the teacher's perception of the reasons for the importance of the 6 Cs instilling in elementary school students is also very high. In the implementation aspect, teachers have a high perception of instilling the 6 Cs in elementary school learning, either through innovative learning models or through interactive learning media.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran secara komprehensif mengenai keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran RADEC berorientasi penyelidikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu mixed methods, dengan sampel sebanyak 29 orang mahasiswa PGSD. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes keterampilan berpikir kritis mengacu pada 5 aspek Critical Thinking Abilities yang dikembangkan Ennis (2011). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa PGSD pada materi perkembangbiakan pada tumbuhan melalui pembelajaran RADEC berorientasi penyelidikan  memiliki kategori cukup (53,4%). Adapun keterampilan berpikir kritis tertinggi pada aspek the bases for a decision (59,1%) dan persentase terendah pada aspek basic clarification (44,5%). Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan software SPSS 22 menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan keterampilan berpikir kritis antara mahasiswa PGSD perempuan dan laki-laki. Namun demikian, nilai rata-rata keterampilan berpikir kritis perempuan (55,3) lebih besar daripada laki-laki (45,8), maka dapat disimpulkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa PGSD perempuan lebih tinggi daripada keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa PGSD laki-laki.Kata kunci: Keterampilan berpikir kritis, RADEC, Penyelidikan

Abstract

The instrument for measuring the emergence of 6Cs in learning at elementary schools is an instrument developed to measure the emergence of character, critical thinking, creativity, citizenship, collaboration, and communication in learning planning and learning implementation at elementary schools. The purpose of the research in this paper is to analyze the instrument validity that has been developed to measure the emergence of 6Cs in learning planning and implementation at elementary schools and to describe the copyrighting of a validated instrument. The research method uses the Research and Development of the ADDIE model, which consists of analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating stages. Instrument validation was carried out by four experts. Instruments that have been validated were subsequently revised based on the suggestions for improvement and calculated the validity percentage and validity level. The results indicate that the instrument for measuring the emergence of 6Cs in learning planning at elementary schools had a validity percentage of 97.74% with a very valid validity level. The instrument for measuring the emergence of 6Cs in learning implementation at elementary schools had a validity percentage of 94.41% with a level very valid validity likewise. The results of the validation and this instrument copyright can be a reference to measure the quality of learning planning and implementation so that it can improve the learning quality in elementary schools, especially related to the learning that can facilitate the development of 6Cs.

Abstract

Pembelajaran abad ke-21 harus diselenggarakan dengan berorientasi pada pengembangan berbabagi kompetensi yang diperlukan agar siswa dapat sukses di abad ini, terutama menyangkut 6C (character, critical thinking, creativity, citizenship, collaboration dan communication). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara komprehensif mengenai profil kemunculan 6C pada pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan melibatkan sepuluh sekolah dasar, sepuluh orang guru dan 50 orang siswa dengan berbagai latar belakang yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profil kemunculan pada perencanaan pembelajaran berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase sebesar 62.04%, dan pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase sebesar 62.57%. Berdasarkan analisis terhadap hasil uji korelasi Pearson Product Momment  menggunakan software SPSS 26 diperoleh nilai korelasi sebesar 0,667 pada taraf signifikansi 0,01, hal ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang kuat kemunculan 6C pada perencanaan dengan pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kemunculan 6C pada perencanaan pembelajaran dengan pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Selanjutnya berdasarkan analisis terhadap model pembelajaran yang digunakan diketahui kemunculan 6C baik pada perencanaan pembelajaran maupun pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran menunjukkan hasil yang bervariasi.

Abstract

The background of this research is to compare the RADEC model with the inquiry model on the higher order thinking skills of elementary school (SD) students. The purpose of this study was to find out which higher order thinking skills were better using the RADEC learning model than those who studied with the style material inquiry learning model. The method used is a pre-experimental method with a quantitative approach with a one shot case study research design. The sample in this study were all fourth grade students at SDN Cijambu II. Class A collects 20 students using the inquiry model and class B collects 20 students using the RADEC model. The data collection technique in this study is a test technique used after learning takes place (posttest) to see higher-order thinking skills. The results showed that t_count = 3.137 and t_table = 2.024. So t_count > t_table, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted so that there are differences in students' higher-order thinking skills using the RADEC model with the inquiry model. Based on the average posttest results, the RADEC model scored (75.50) while the inquiry model (59.50). The higher-order thinking skills of students who use the RADEC learning model are better than the high-order thinking abilities of students who study with the inquiry learning model in style material in class IV SDN Cijambu II, Tanjungsari District, Sumedang Regency, in the 2021/2022 academic year.
