
Pierre Cutellic
Pierre Cutellic is an architect. He graduated at E.N.S.A.P.M.(Paris,France) in 2007, with First Class Honors, where he started teaching and lecturing digital technologies and practices in 2006. He joined Gehry Technologies in Europe in 2008 as a Project Consultant and worked until 2012 on diverse and intricate projects across Europe and the UAE as the Qatar National Museum (Doha) or the Luma Foundation (Arles). During this period, Pierre has been involved with numerous renowned design firms such as Gehry Partners, Zaha Hadid Architects, Ateliers Jean Nouvel, Coop Himmelb(l)au as well as General Contractors as Oger International, Bouygues Construction, Hyundai Construction, … Between 2010 and 2015, Pierre actively took part in the creation and the development of the Digital Knowledge Department at ENSA-Paris-Malaquais where he was teaching digital knowledge and practices, integrative design and production, human computation and algorithmics. In 2013, Pierre Co-founded an innovative company in neuroscience and computational design (Synetiq) based on his current research called Neurodesign and in collaboration with I.N.R.I.A. His past professional experience and collaborations, as well as his ongoing research and computational works have been frequently published (SmartGeometry 2010, Ecaade 2013, Icgg 2014, Acadia 2014, …). In 2012, Pierre founded The Computational Monkeys, an architecture and design firm, through which he pursues his work and research. He recently lectured in innovations and computation for the building industry at EPFL ENAC CNPA Laboratory of Lausanne. Pierre is currently PhD Fellow at the CAAD chair of ETH ITA Zürich.
