Abstract : Now a days, the globalized world, highway is the means to join countries, cities, towns etc. In recent years all the old technologies changed into new technology like fridge, TV, Washing Machine, cooler etc. so that the all the things are changed but highways are not changed. The "Smart Highway" is the concept to make highway roads smarter, safer, and more energy efficient for generating electricity using solar energy, vibration energy, wind energy, for charging the vehicles using these energies, for lighting, and for monitoring the condition of the road. The vehicles moving on roads generates large amount.
Abstract — This paper deals with the design & analysis of the Automatic Sun Traking Solar Panel based on open loop concept. The main objective of the project is to harnsess the maximum amount of sunlight from sun and coverting it to elctricity so that it can be easily used and transferred. This can be done by aligning the solar panel perpendicular to sun rays so that maximum sunlight can be converted into electrical form. As this system give maximum efficiency. The main feature of this tracker is that it is independent of the intensity of sunrays. It directly takes the coordinate of the sun according to its position and align itself according to that. As well as it gives higher efficiency, high reliability.

This project aims at integrating the features of home automation with that of security system to build a concrete home control system.
The project takes into consideration of all the existing products and merges them together to create a system which will not only provide automation to the building but will also take into consideration of all the security features of the building. The project uses gas sensors to detect any gas leakage that might occur in the building. It is also equipped with smoke and temperature sensors to look out if any fire breaks out in the building. It also features the function of intrusion detection by proper placement of passive infrared sensor (PIR sensor). All of the above sensor is well connected to a centralised microcontroller section which will generate a proper output in case of any tragedy. Various security services number can be feed into the system so that a prior generated message can be transmitted to that number in case of any emergency. In depth study of the previous systems have been done so as to improve the performance of the system from its predecessors.
The results of experiments have shown that the convection heat transfer rate from fin arrays depends on all percentage of perforation and base-to-ambient temperature difference. The effect of these parameters was also examined, and it was realized that for a given base-to-ambient temperature difference, the convective heat transfer rate from the fin array is maximum for 30% perforated fin array.
