Dramatic parameter variations and fluctuations can lead to wrong decisions, which could lead to fatal consequences. In this paper, we propose a model-driven methodology for highly automated machine learning approach to smart grid stability prediction. Stability prediction is treated as binary classification problem and implemented relying on Neo4j graph database's Graph Data Science Library (GDS). The proposed framework is evaluated on open, publicly available dataset. According to the achieved results, the predictive model shows better performance in terms of accuracy and execution time compared to other solutions based on deep learning. On the other side, the adoption of model-driven approach is beneficial when it comes to reusability and convenient experimentation compared to manual, non-automated design.

Due to the existing challenges (population structure, size, and ageing) in our opinion, tourism can be considered as a vital industry that can enhance the speedy recovery of the local economy. As a destination inhabited since the Stone Age, Racha may again become an interesting place of discoveries. Due to the region's potential, many types of tourism can be developed in Racha: ethnographic, archaeological, speleological, health-recreational, religious, rural, wine, gastronomic, adventure, and others. It should be noted that the feedback from the respondents and the SWOT analysis of tourism development in the Racha region are fully consistent with each other. Therefore, the paper examines and presents a cluster analysis of tourism based on a systemic vision of the field. In the article, we also wish to highlight the opportunities for rural tourism development that the EU also offers to the pre-accession countries. As a good practice of project examples, we present the cases from Croatia and Slovenia, where several renovations and reconstructions of local farms were financed, turning them into tourist farms that acquired tourist apartments, swimming pools and barbecue areas. The projects also supported activities on the farms, such as the organization of unique horseback riding in nature and programs such as archery, tasting of wine, cheese, prosciutto and other gastronomic delicacies of the region, picking olives, grapes, asparagus. Recently, projects have focused on digital transformation in the field of tourist services in rural areas. Finally, we mention the importance of the karstic world in the context of the protection of the natural environment and its importance for the development of tourism. For this purpose, we have presented the projects of Slovenian karst caves and pointed out the importance of postgraduate education in karstology, which is carried out in Slovenia.

However, its consequences caused disastrous losses when it comes to tourism. Strict government measures, such as lockdown, public gathering and travel prohibition, together with temporary closure of hospitality objects have not only reduce the number of tourists dramatically, but also led to huge number of jobs lost in tourism and hospitality. In this paper, we examine how the commonly used data mining techniques can contribute to revival of tourism industry under current circumstances. As outcome, the implementation of four case studies using RapidMiner tool is presented: 1) reservation cancellation detection based on classification 2) tourist number prediction with respect to number of COVID-19 cases leveraging regression 3) Cross-selling of additional services relying on association rule mining 4) segmentation of tourists regarding their spending and services using clustering.

The consequences are visible in both the social and economic spheres. The tourism industry needs to realign all existing practices and implement more sustainable tourism practices in the post-pandemic period, but technology will also play an important role. To determine the importance and impact of modern technological solutions on the development of smart tourist destinations in the post-pandemic era, the authors used the Leximancer 5.0 tool to analyse 32 scientific articles and prepare examples of good implementation of augmented reality apps. The pandemic brought new technological solutions in tourism hospitality such as robotics and artistic intelligence and accelerated implementation in Big Data analytics tools, the Internet of Things, cloud computing, virtual and augmented reality, and mobile data applications. In summary, the pandemic stimulated both the growth of human interactions with technology and the promotion of reflection on the very complexity of interactions. In tourism emerged the paradigm of attentive tourists who could self-reflectively interact with technology to get the technology touristic experience.

As outcome, two prediction models based on multilayer neural networks are implemented using PyTorch framework for Python programming language and evaluated on dataset containing realistic data of ultramarathon runner. The first model treats problem as regression to predict the number of kilometers run for given ultramarathon duration, while another one determines whether injury will occur for given running distance or no using classification approach. According to our results, both models show satisfiable performance (up to 2% relative error for regression, 70% correct for classification), while the first one performs better, which can be explained by lack of enough injury records in the second case. Moreover, a companion mobile app developed using AppSheet and Google Apps Script for automated dataset construction is introduced.

The received signal suffers from short-term fading and co-channel interference (CCI), where both are κ-μ distributed. SC receiver is used to reduce fading influence to the system performance. For described interference, LCR of the signal to interference ratio (SIR) at the output of SC receiver will be derived. From obtained expression for LCR, average fade duration (AFD) of the proposed telecommunication system can be calculated. The impact of fading parameters on the LCR will be analyzed. Thereafter, the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) accelerated simulation and linear optimization for planning an optimal 5G mobile network within a smart city will be implemented. This program provides significantly faster calculation of system performance, such as LCR, for the wireless channels under the influence of such defined obstructions.

The average bit error probability (ABEP) is calculated using the moment generating function (MGF) approach for BDPSK and BPSK modulations. Graphical representation of the results illustrates the effects of different parameters of the system on its performance as well as the improvements due to the benefits of a combined micro and macro diversity. The obtained analytical expressions are used for the GPU-enabled mobile network modeling, planning and simulation environment to determine the value of Quality of Service (QoS) parameter. Finally, linear optimization is proposed as an approach to improve the QoS parameter of the fading-affected system observed in this paper.
