The values of the thermal conductivity for different nanofluid combinations were calculated using the expression developed in this study and they agreed with published experimental data.

Abstract-A Hydro power plant is established for the production of electricity as well as flood co... more Abstract-A Hydro power plant is established for the production of electricity as well as flood control in the areas lying along the course of the river on which dam is constructed. So the water level control in the reservoir and generation of required amount of power are equally important. In this paper a fuzzy logic has been developed using power generation requirement from power plant to control level of reservoir and thus maintaining required water level for power generation and to avoid over flowing as well as flood conditions. The Fuzzy controller is developed using Mamdani-type and Sugeno-type models. The paper outlines the basic difference between Mamdani-type FIS and Sugeno type FIS. The results demonstrated the performance comparison of the two systems and the advantages of using Sugeno-type over Mamdani-type for this case.

These CuO nanostructures have functional to modify GC electrode for detecting of glucose. Acidity plays important role in synthesizing these nanostructure. CuO synthesize from CuSO4have higher sensitivity, than obtained from copper nitrate over copper acetate. Morphology plays a major role in sensitivity of these CuO towards glucose oxidation. www.alliedjournals.com Abstract-This paper aims to extend the knowledge about the performance e... more www.alliedjournals.com Abstract-This paper aims to extend the knowledge about the performance enhancement of cascaded multilevel inverter by using heuristic optimization methods. For improving efficiency of multilevel inverter, harmonics has to be eliminated. To eliminate the harmonics, Selective Harmonics Elimination Pulse Width Modulation technique is used for a better power quality output. This technique eliminates the pre-selected lower order harmonics which are more dominant into the nature while satisfying the fundamental component of output voltage, but the major issue is to solve the set of nonlinear harmonic equations derived from Fourier analysis of the output waveform of multilevel inverter. Using Conventional approach to solve those equations does not guaranteed the optimal solution and may stuck in the local minima. Hence, Evolutionary optimization algorithms are used for solving those equation. Evolutionary algorithm consist a subset of evolutionary computation and the results are obtained. Among of all a comparison is done between simulated annealing, Genetic Algorithm and multi objective genetic algorithm. Whereas, Evolutionary optimization algorithm are inspired by the biological process of evolution. Using those algorithm the main concern is to find the notches angles for giving the gate pulse to the individual switches of multilevel inverter. Using all of the three algorithms data sets are collected for different modulation indexes and output are verified by results. Results also shows the comparison between genetic algorithm and multiobjective genetic algorithm for getting the optimum results.

We cannot think of life and any kind of development without energy. Whether it is an industry -big or small, or agriculture or for a household, electricity is the driving force behind all of them. Today, the per capita consumption of electricity is considered to be the index for development for any country. The demand for energy especially in the form of electricity and fossil fuels like petrol, diesel, gas, coal etc is increasing day by day in the entire world. But the sources of energy are limited and they are getting exhausted and we have to maintain the pace of development and national growth of any country. So we have to find out the solutions for this. Energy Conservation and its efficient use could be one of the solutions. The other possible solution could be development and use of renewable sources of energy in place of the conventional sources. Wind energy is highly preferred alternative as compared to conventional sources of power. India plays a leading role in the global wind energy market, but it is still not use its full wind potential, which is far from the exhausted condition. Moreover, these resources can lead to growth in Indian power sector. In this paper, the assessment of wind technology is explored for Indian context vis-a-vis indices related to wind technology. The state wise status, challenges, development of wind power; and market for small wind turbine system are discussed in detail. Moreover, the issues related to wind turbine capacity and installation are elaborated for wind technology in India.

Motion segmentation techniques means to separate non-stationary objects from stationary backgrounds and it is analogous to separating an object from the background in image processing. Global thresholds, i.e., constant thresholds are chosen in the other methods. A common problem of global thresholding is that in practice it is impossible to find a single global threshold that works with all kinds of video materials. Choosing the right threshold is an important problem both in the color histogram comparison and edge change ratio algorithms. In this novel technique one will use the adaptive thresholding techniques through which one get the better PSNR results.

Th... more Patch Antenna with multiband and broadband characteristics has been successfully demonstrated. The Zeland IE3D software has been used to analyze the performances of the designed antennas such as return loss, radiation patterns and gain. The antennas have been fabricated using FR4 laminate board thickness 1.6 mm and relative permittivity of 4.4 and mounted above the ground plane at a height of 6 mm. Bandwidth as high as 33.51% are achieved with stable pattern characteristics, such as gain and cross polarization, within its bandwidth. Impedance bandwidth, antenna gain and return loss are observed for the proposed antenna. Details of the measured and simulated results are presented and discussed

A simulated annealing algorithm is developed in this paper for the problem of resource allocation... more A simulated annealing algorithm is developed in this paper for the problem of resource allocation in multiple projects. The proposed algorithm is based on two stages. In the first stage resources are allocated to the projects and given this allocation the projects are scheduled. In the second stage the resources are transferred between the projects and rescheduling of projects is done to improve the objective function. Only idle resources can be transferred from a less important project to more important project. The paper also reports the computational experience in which several multi-project problems are solved.

The developed iOS app works perfectly fine on major smartphones and tablets running on popular operating systems like iOS, Android, Windows and Blackberry.
