Hotels renovation is necessary for sustainable success, increase of market share, improvement of overall performance, and strengthening of the hotel's brand name. Despite the fact of importance, the renovation effect on the success of the hotel and its performance, a few research discussed this issue and its effect on the occupancy percentage of the hotel and demonstrate the advantage to customer relationship with the hotel. This paper aims to investigate and explore the most influential causes of delays in hotel renovations in Egypt and classify their impacts on time and cost. 45 80 Utopia. 52 85 Desert Rose.

The Impact of Authentizotic Climate on Innovative Work Behavior in the Hospitality Industry: Psychological Empowerment as a Mediator and LMX as a Moderator

This research aims to identify the effect of the authentizotic climate on innovative employee beh... more This research aims to identify the effect of the authentizotic climate on innovative employee behavior in Egyptian hotels through psychological empowerment as a mediator and leader-member exchange (LMX) as a moderator. The field study was applied using the survey method on a simple random sample of employees in five-star hotels in Sharm El-Sheikh. The study relied on testing hypotheses and validity of the theoretical model upon the SEM method via the “Partial least squares PLS” technique with SmartPLS-3.The study results showed that an authentizotic climate positively and significantly affects innovative work behaviors in hotels through psychological empowerment as a mediator, and the leader-member exchange as a moderator. The study recommended that Egyptian hotels create an authentizotic work climate with its four dimensions. that empowers their employees psychologically and develops their innovative work behaviors, and at the same time pays attention to the quality of relations between leaders and employees in hotels.

Egypt is characterized by the multiplicity of traditional handicrafts, depending on the region an... more Egypt is characterized by the multiplicity of traditional handicrafts, depending on the region and the diversity of history. Traditional handicrafts are one of the factors that distinguish Egyptian tourism and gives its’ hotels a different image. There is a growing interest from the different parties in the tourism and hospitality industry to search in ways that differentiate their services from other competitors. The use of traditional crafts would enhance the customers' sense of the authenticity of the place and prompt them to search more about the history of these crafts and knowing more about it and enhance the relationship between hotel and guests with a distinctive brand. This study describes the effect of using different kinds of Egyptian traditional handicrafts as Salt, Pottery, and Kilim in Siwan hotels to secure sustainable rates of demand. To achieve the aim of the study, a self-administrated questionnaire was developed and addressed to hotels’ guests, 285 forms were statistical analysis. Also, twenty-two Semi- Structured interviewees were conducted with tourism and hospitality experts. The findings of the study reveal that using these crafts in hotels could stimulate consumers' purchasing behavior. Egyptian Tourism Authority should adopt the concept of heritage hospitality and art marketing concept by enhancing marketing efforts through international exhibitions and its official websites. Hotels owners should adopt using of handcrafts to differentiate their decorations, and brand it. Traditional handicrafts men are to differentiate their products to include all amenities as a tool of publicity and marketing the brand name with the Egyptian identity.

The study aims to study how to employ interior design elements that helps in saving the environment and reduce using of energy. The study focused on using of the new lighting technology and applications as an effective element of hotels interior design in saving energy and increasing customers' satisfaction. Results of the research showed that there is a growing importance in depending on the natural lighting especially on the hotels' lobby where customers' first impression is shaped. The new lighting technology giving the designer the possibility to adopt the greening concept in addition to stimulate the emotional side of customers and their purchasing attitudes and raise their feeling of satisfaction. Design/methodology/approach-the data was collected through a questionnaire addressed to hotels' customers and a semi-structured interview addressed to experts and designer in hospitality field. Spas that deliver on the guest experience and exceed clients' expectations take into account not only what their clients are looking for, but what they may not have considered, as well. Design/methodology/approach-Using a deductive approach, case study data was collected from five hotels, located at the Red Sea, via semi structured questionnaire to top line management and SPA managers. A design response that imbues the entire guest journey with a sense of place, history and culture is essential in building memorable experiences. History of the place and its cultural heritage are the most pervasive resources in the world that can build a different and unique relationship between customers and destination and accordingly hospitality properties. Hotels may use their destinations' history, unique heritage and cultural resources to increase placebased competitive advantage by providing a mix of tangible and intangible experiences. A touch can reflect the atmosphere and the history of the Egyptian country in the eyes of its visitors. Studying customers' satisfaction in hospitality industry may not be a something new, however studying the relationship and the impact of the countries' history and using it in designing hotel and how far it can impact guest' satisfaction is very important in order to sustain a high volume of business between competitive hotels.
