Morse is the new Recon Operator as of Season 9: Echo in Delta Force. He comes with a powerful set of scanning and hostile identification abilities that rival even Raptors in some situations. Unlocking him is a familiar process for grizzled veterans, but if you’re new to the game, we’ll go over how to get Morse in this guide.

Like previous new Operators, you unlock Morse by reaching rank 15 on the Season 9 battle pass. How you do that will depend on what modes you play, how you play, and with whom you play. You can also purchase premium Delta Coin currency with real money and use it to get pass levels directly.

If you don’t feel like splurging on the game, getting to battle pass rank 15 by playing isn’t hard either. It’s just more time-consuming.

Each level of the battle pass takes 10,000 battle pass XP to unlock, and that value is closely tied to the Score you achieved in the round prior. Getting more XP requires you to play better and accomplish more in-game goals.

For instance, when I do a loot goblin solo run on Zero Dam Normal, I can average 10,000-15,000 XP on a good day. If I fight a team or, somehow, win a team fight, that number can easily grow to 20,000 XP or more. And because Operations matches only last 20 minutes or so, unlocking Operators can take three or four hours, at most.

Playing Warfare matches is the easier of the two paths, and I always focus on being a heal bot. I’m not good enough at the game to play a slayer role, so I focus on healing, resupplying, and reviving teammates first and foremost. A good match nets me 15,000 XP on average, or around 10,000 or so if I was on the receiving end of a beatdown

You can thus expect to unlock the Morse Operator after about three or four hours of consistent play. Less time if you’re particularly skilled, and a bit more if you have a rough go of things.

I find Recon Operators have more utility in the Operations extraction mode of Delta Force, where information is more powerful than any weapon.

If you want to know where to find an item in a massive open world or how to beat a boss, he can help. They've probably kicked his teeth in a few times already. You can normally find him eyes deep in the latest FromSoftware game if he isn't doing dailies in the half-dozen live service games he plays. He can be found on BlueSky.
