When the professions of the readers in socio-economic regions and their using and getting newspapers are evaluated, it is found that students and employees frequently follow the newspapers (p=0.00) by getting the newspaper from the internet (p=0.009). Because they are able to access online media whenever they want and prefer internet newspapers as they think that they are objective (p = 0.042). Those who think that Internet newspapers have a publishing policy are primarily employees (p = 0.001). Subsequently, the retirees change their tendency towards to the publication policies of the newspapers (Table 5a). The factors that determine the tendency towards Internet journalism are the interest in online media and the feeling of trust. For this reason, the newspapers are seen as reliable sources of news by students and employees. They are also students and employees who can use digital technologies and news sources together. Therefore, they use social media tools and blogs more frequently to follow the news than other profession groups (Table 5b).
