Figure 61 Material properties investigated include electrical resistivity, Young’s modulus and flexural strength. The tests were done on 8 3x4x45 mm® beams. These beams were laser sintered with a laser power of 15 W, a scanning speed of 100 mm/s, a scan spacing of 77 wm and a powder layer thickness of 30 wm. The resistivity of the beams was 2.0 + 0.7 * 10-4Qm. The conductivity o, calculated as the inverse of the resistivity, is 5.3 + 0.9 * 10° S/m. These values point to a moderate electrical conductivity.
