Table 4 Results of discriminant analysis of objects for Serbian and Japanese participants Japanese participants. A single discriminant function of objects for Japanese participants was obtained. Standardized canonical coefficients and a structure matrix for the dimensions Beauty, Firmness and Complexity are shown in Table 4. The canonical correlation was significant: .713, y°(3) = 14.53, p<.01. As the structure matrix has shown, Beauty had the highest canonical coefficient and highest index of Structure matrix. The discriminant function correctly classified ten out of twelve Serbian architectural objects (83.3%), and two of them were misclassified into the category of Japanese architectural objects. In addition, discriminant function correctly classified nine out of twelve Japanese architectural objects (75%), while three of them were misclassified as Serbian architectural objects.
